Amazing dinner! Service was great and food was even better. We got the cod and the truffle pasta and both were delish :) also cocktails were yummy! I ordered the the electric shuby and loved it. Definitely coming back soon.

So good. Came here for a birthday dinner with friends and had a great experience. Made a reservation and my party was running late, but the hostess tried really hard to keep the table for us. We were finally sat for dinner and the server was so great at getting food out to us quick. We got the watermelon feta salad, yellow fin tuna tartare, salmon crispy rice, brussel sprouts, vodka rigatoni, and korean fried chicken sando with a side of curly fries. All of the food was amazing, portions were surprisingly big and all so so flavorful. The sando was the perfect mix of sweet, salty, and vinegar-y. The tartare and crispy rice were exactly what you’d expect in the best way. All my friends and I got a stamp for the club downstairs when the meal was over, and did not have to pay cover! If you do pay cover to get in though, the credit is applied to the drinks downstairs. The only thing is that the service fee is pretty high. Great experience and will come again!

We had made reservations for 10:30pm but were not seated until closer to 11pm. When were were finally at our table the service was good and the food was yummy as well. The atmosphere is fun and they have a club downstairs which we wanted to checkout but the cover was $250 a person. They told us the restaurant and club are run completely separate so if you thinking eating dinner before will get you free entry to the club you are mistaken.

Super fun spot! Mary Taylor is the absolute best and made our experience 10/10! Food and drinks were delicious. Tuna tartare and rigatoni were fan favorites of the group.

Mary Taylor was our server and she was absolutely the best. Not only did she recommend the perfect amount and variation of food, but was so attentive to our needs the entire evening. Everything we had was tasty and she made sure our night was perfect. Highly recommend the restaurant and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Mary Taylor as i Your server.

To my surprise everything was very delicious I had salmon the burrata and it was very tasty , Sadie was my server , she was very attentive and help me with the decision of my food. Also all the staff were very friendly as well

I’ve never dined at ketchy shuby for dinner but I’ve always been to the bar and speakeasy downstairs. They have a decent crowd and always great music. If you house music this is the place to be! Speakeasy gets pretty busy after 10:30-11 and guys usually have a minimum bar tab.

Pedro is the absolute BEST!!! He was so incredibly kind and gave the best recommendations. He is SO much fun as well and made sure we had the best night. The food was fantastic, atmosphere was unmatched, and cocktails were phenomenal. Can’t recommend enough:)

Food was so amazing! One word to describe it is spectacular and unique in flavor. The chicken was cooked to perfection, it was flavorful and luckily not dry! Drinks are on the stronger side so I guess that's worth it! Service was great the hostess found us a table despite us having missed our reservation spot. This was amazing considering it was a Saturday night . Our waitress was attentive and sweet. This is a nice chill spot they have a lounge downstairs from them however it's pretty pricey to get in there .

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My party went in and had dinner at Ketchy Shuby and then asked to go down to the lounge - we were told to go back outside and get stamped, fine ok two different doors. The bouncer Richard was insanely discriminatory and literally saw our party of 8 - majority were not white - And would not let us in. He let a group of 4 white people in before us with NO minimums with 2 guys in the party. We had three guys in the group and he quoted $200 a guy. I've been in NYC a long time and that's a price to get you to turn away, not a "oh yes this is a standard minimum" The even more concerning thing is this is their response from a supposed Supervisor. He literally says "the claims are unfounded" and tried to gas light me on my own lived experience. Honestly the worst place I've ever been to, clearly doesn't know how to handle customer relations, and has zero remorse around this. Literally walk down the block to a true self respecting club and go out at Gospel or Jeans rather than this shit hole

Had a horrible experience. The fish had so many bones I almost chocked. Service was not good and generally rude staff. The inside has a dim vibe which could be enjoyable to some. I'd go elsewhere.

This place gives Tulum vibes in SoHo. Recommend reservations as the place is small. I recommend dressing it up as everyone was pretty dressed up on a Saturday night. The service was solid and attentive. They were trying to flip the table quick so I thought it was a bit obnoxious the servers trying to clear a dish when almost empty or drinks. I get it but it made the experience rushed. However, the rigatoni was flavorful and cooked well. The cheeseburger and chicken sandwich were also a big hit at the table. The ding in the stars is also the club partner below. They have a basement club underneath and we went to the bouncer inside after eating and said they are open just need to get a stamp from the front. We go to the front and the bouncer said they are not opening for the night. So it was misleading and seemed like judgement on our party. Whatever the case, the place left a sour taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend.

Amazing food, terrible hospitality. My friend had reserved a table for her birthday dinner but some friends that initially said they couldn't make it changed their minds. My friend had tried to email and call the restaurant to notify them and couldn't get in touch. When our group arrived, we were told by the hostess that we wouldn't be able to get a larger table for our group of 9. We would either have to split into two tables or squeeze into one small table. Half of our group also arrived late and she told us we had to give up our table by 9:30 for another reservation. All of this is fine, but the delivery of the news and the attitude of the hostess was rude. She didn't attempt to apologize for the inconvenience at all, just gave off a "this is how it is", snobbish vibe. We actually managed to squeeze into the smaller table with some discomfort. That was when the hostess informed us that we would have to do the prie fix menu since we were such a large group. The food itself and the wait staff serving our table were great!! We didn't have much real estate to work with but we made do by stacking plates and consolidating. The prie fix is actually a great deal! There was so much food. We started off with a vegetarian beef tartare, that was actually made with beets, quinoa, and finished with dollops of yogurt sauce. It was a delicious, juicy start to the meal. Next we had a garden burrata with figs and berries. This was perfection as well: so creamy yet refreshing. For our mains, we had a oyster mushroom ramen and a rigatoni a la vodka. The ramen was so umami, rich, and comforting. I wanted to slurp the thick noodles but of course, that would not have been very demure or mindful in front of a group of girls. The pasta was one of the best I've had recently! Italian grandmas everywhere would have approved. As if this wasn't enough food, we also had platters of curly fries, and dessert! Dessert was a decadent chocolate lava cake and an earl grey creme brulee. Both were flawlessly made and the perfect cap to a very balanced, diverse meal. I loved the creme brulee so much, I cleaned out the ramekin! Did I love the food and feel of dining in a lush tropical paradise? YES! Would I return? Only time will tell.

Ketchy Shuby is a trendy spot in SoHo that is mainly known for having a club beneath, but we came for dinner in the restaurant. Love the vibes and interior design here. I started with the SoHo Bay drink - it was decent. They make their drinks strong here, but needed a tad more flavor and "oomph." We tried a variety of food items Things we loved: -Rigatoni Vodka: this was DELICIOUS and very flavorful. Vodka pasta can be a hit or miss, but Ketchy Shuby makes a good one. -Curly Fries with truffle cheese: hard to go wrong with a curly fry, and we don't see a lot of these on menus! -Chocolate Lava Cake: a must, we ordered the dessert platter and this was the star of the show. I could have passed on the Heirloom Carrots (needed a bit more sweetness), the Baked Bread (it wasn't bad, but nothing outstanding - too seed-y for us), and the other dessert platter items. I also would not suggest ordering their Espresso Martinis - they have too strong of a vodka flavor. Overall, we had a solid experience at this spot and would love another plate of the rigatoni!

A trendy restaurant and lounge tucked into the heart of SoHo. The drinks are good and bartenders are fun. The music here in the downstairs lounge was great. We stopped by for dinner before and I didn't feel particularly strongly about the meal, was a little on the salty side.

George is a 10/10 server. wait staff great, but rest of service was so rude and terrible.

Ketchy Shuby is a great place for groups. I came with a group of 4 on a Friday at 7:00pm and the restaurant was about half full. The restaurant picks up around 8:30-9:00pm and is filled with larger groups. Most people dressed pretty casual but some were dressed up. The restaurant is well staffed with pretty good service, but once it got busy service took a bit of a turn. Drinks were fine, not great. The bartender gave me a hard time about modifying a drink so stick to the basics. The food, however, is really good. We loved everything we had, especially the Rigatoni, Tuna Tartare and Ricotta.

Nice spot. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Reservation is a must. The rigatoni and caesar salad were the best dishes. The fish dorade was alright. Our waitress was awesome, super sweet.

Ketchy Shuby is a good spot for dinner. We needed to change our resy last minute and the staff was nice and let us when we arrived. Our waitress was also very nice. The inside has a fun vibe and there is plenty of seating for large groups. We started with the bread and it was a bit hard and not worth $11. They also asked if we wanted to add burrata but didn't realize it was an additional $20 which is cray. I ordered the spicy rigatoni and thought it was great! Everyone really enjoyed their food.

Perfect ambiance for a dressed-up night out! Enjoy loud music, strong drinks and great food. The service was fast and a great place to celebrate a friend's birthday (complementary sparklers and a loud group of employees that come and sing). Overall a great place to dine in the city for a special occasion

Not just a going out spot!!! Originally I just came here for my birthday after dinner since Ketchy Shuby is known for their downstairs bar. You should definitely come here for the food as well. While the menu is small and limited, there is something for everyone. All the dishes we ordered were so unique and delicious. Started with the butternut squash soup and beet tartare. Incredibly delicious. For mains we tried both salads and the spicy rigatoni, a must! Chefs know what they're doing. Do yourself a favor and come check out Ketchy Shuby

The food was hit or miss. The drinks were not tasty. I did not like the chicken, but the pasta was very good. Everything for the table was to share. Including the drinks we got additionally, it ended up around 140 dollars per person. The ambiance was nice and good for large parties. However, the staff do not treat their guests well. So that's a huge no go for me. We had staff members taking pictures of us without permission. We were denied entrance to the basement after dinner while another party was let in with no conversation. We were told we needed to buy a 2000 dollar table to go downstairs. It's unfortunate because we came all the way there for a birthday, ate dinner and THEN was told this information. If we did non have a large party we would be let in without the table. Very odd. It was not mentioned during booking. I don't know if the other party paid for downstairs but they weren't asked to leave the restaurant, get stamped, and come back like we were. Which I thought was odd. We were asked to go through hoops they were not asked to do. Why would one party need stamps and the other does not. Very upsetting to the birthday girl. I would not come here again. Also, charging 9 dollars for a ginger ale is silly.

I came here for a party of 8 people. We had a pre fixe menu with tuna tartare, burgers, penne vodka, desserts, and a few other things. The food was really good and the best thing i had was the penne vodka. I would go back for the penne vodka alone! The price was about $100/pp for all the food- this included entrance for the nightclub downstairs afterwards.

I had a lovely dinner with my girlfriends here last night. We were all big fans of the fries. We split all the mains, and the Korean fried chicken sandwich and both pasta dishes were notable favorites. I love their shredded kale salad with cheese, and I was a fan of their Catch A Fire cocktail with mezcal. The servers are so sweet and attentive. And it's a beautifully lit quiet spot on a Wednesday evening.

I came to Ketchy Shuby for a dinner date the other night. The vibes of this restaurant were super cute - it reminded me of Tulum. We were seated in the back and started off with some drinks. We both preferred the espresso martinis which weren't bad. As for food, we ordered a Caesar salad, the branzino, and the salmon. My personal favorite was the salmon. It was cooked just right, with the center being a bit rare, and paired with lentils, greens, and a sauce. The branzino was also yummy and a large portion. I thought the Caesar salad could use less dressing as it was quite salty. The servers were also a bit slow at times. We had tried to order another drink and it never came. Once we finished our dinner we headed to the speakeasy downstairs. It was still early so it was pretty empty when we were there but the vibes were again cute and I could see it popping off later in the evening.

The ambience was stunning, the service was great, and the food was delicious! We started with the appetizing whipped ricotta, its flavor beautifully balanced with a subtle hint of lemon. While a bit more ricotta would have been welcome, it was a pleasing beginning. Our main courses, the Branzino and Rigatoni alla vodka, were both delicious. The Branzino, in particular, is a standout dish that I highly recommend. Overall, a delightful experience; I would certainly recommend dining at Ketchy Shuby.

My girlfriend and I found this place on Instagram for date night. We thought, dinner and drinks and then we have an amazing club downstairs? How perfect! ..WRONG. I'll be honest, the food was good. But this place left us with a bad taste and ruined our night out in the city. The waitress hyped up the club downstairs while we had dinner and told us we can get our stamp from the front desk. The staff also performed a show at 10:30pm to get the "party" started. It all looked great and we decided to get more drinks. We then pay for the bill and head to the front desk for our stamp. The front desk tells us that we need to talk to the bouncer outside. My girlfriend is wearing a short dress and we are now both outside waiting in the cold to find out that even though we just had dinner at the restaurant, we cannot get into the club without another set of reservations. We never felt so disregarded after literally just spending $250+ on dinner and on top of that, being hyped by the staff for the club. In such disbelief, we decided to walk back to our car in shock and go back home. We have been to other places in the city with a similar concept of dinner and club (TAO Downtown) and were not treated this way. While the food is good here, there many other places in the city with great food that will not ruin your night out in the city and leave you with a bad feeling in your gut. Wish I read the reviews of this place earlier as many seem to have experienced the same. I hope this review saves another couple's date night at this venue.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Don't waste your time here: places like this are outdated and are what give going out in Manhattan a bad rep! Me and my 7 girl friends arrived for a birthday and were told to "wait inside at the bar for some space in the club to free up". We waited an hour...I'm not going to do the doorman's job for him and keep head count, but while we were at the bar waiting, we noticed tons of people leaving, but somehow Richard kept saying "there wasn't room for us". How is there no room? I just counted 9 people leaving? We also noticed smaller parties of girls getting their hands stamped and let in right away. We're not bad looking at all, we're properly dressed and all we wanted to do was spend money on drinks and dance! Drinks at the bar while we waited were also $24 and mostly ice. I honestly don't have one positive thing to say about my experience, and it's not even me just being bitter. If bad vibes, endless waiting and watery drinks are your thing, go here, but otherwise, don't waste your time. There are much, much better places in this area to go to.

We wanted to share a recent experience we had at the Soho hotspot Ketchy Shuby. It was a Thursday on Halloween 10/31, staff was in various costumes. One member of the staff was dressed as an Arab man with a bomb strapped to his chest. We found this highly inappropriate and offensive, as we had both Muslim and Jewish members in our party. Considering the current conflict in the middle east and the lingering trauma of the october 7th terrorist attacks in Israel, the fact that management condoned a staff member to dress like this during service is outrageous, and we think that the establishment deserves to be called out and recognized publicly for such behavior.

From the moment we stepped in the ambience was absolutely incredible. I felt as if I had stepped into the garden of Eden set an a Parisian wonderland. The hostess was incredibly kind and very welcoming. The staff was all genuinely incredible. The first round of drinks was excellent and the food was absolutely phenomenal highly recommend to all.. Top Notch all around..

We were 5 guys having dinner - dinner was lovely - food was decent - good service - out although not super creative - wine list is pretty poor but we were having a good time and could not care less we went there a few times but today was the last . After spending 1k$ for dinner ... We asked to get a drink downstairs - first they said it is 3500$ min to get a table with a. Bottle - then came back and said to open a tab for 5 drinks it is 2000$. So I thought I misunderstood so I asked again ... and yes they told us if we wanted to have 5 drinks it is 2000$ + tip + tax Adios - there are better spots to spend that kind of money

I came here for a birthday dinner and it was really nothing special. I'm amazed by all of the positive reviews. The menu is odd and doesn't have a good flow. We started with the tuna tartar, the whipped ricotta, baked bread, and fried calamari. The tartar was delicious. The whipped ricotta was nothing, almost like eating air. Not worth it. The bread was well, just bread and the fried calamari was no different than anywhere else. For my entree I had the steak frites. Couldn't have been saltier. A chef friend once told me that if the meat is over salted it's probably not very fresh so that was concerning. Came with weird curly fries like at TGI Fridays. Others in my group had a fried chicken sandwich which they didn't like and the squash which was $29 for a large badly seasoned vegetable. Desserts were good, lava cake and a bread pudding. The staff was nice. The place became an absolute scene, which was unappealing when trying to enjoy dinner. Patrons and staff packing the place and constantly bumping our chairs. There's so many good restaurants in the area, you can skip this one.

The drinks are horrible and have no ambience in them for $24 each. Mine literally looked like water with cheap ice... and my friends didn't have a good presentation either. The food was good the spicy rigatoni is not spicy however and just tastes like vodka sauce. Also if you sit in the back good luck . It's miserable you will be staring at a wall with zero ambiance. They also auto gratuity 20% to your bill even if you are just two people .

This place is absolutely terrible. The staff (particularly the hostess) was so disrespectful and unfriendly. It was disgusting the treatment we received after spending $2K here for my friends birthday. I do NOT recommend.

Loved this conveniently located spot in SoHo/Nolita. Great service and a fun eclectic menu with options for all. I would highlight the curly fries and rigatoni vodka (although 4 stars because it came out a little cold!) Definitely go for a dinner before a night out in the neighborhood versus brunch - it was dead in there for brunch and we were expecting more of an upbeat vibe.

total rip off. had a birthday celebration and they didn't bring out a cake we ordered and paid for, agreed to let us to the club and then charged us double what we spoke about, and in days after have completely lied to scam me out of hundreds of dollars. seems fun but absolutely not worth it. kids at the club were 17.

Truly offensive hospitality. Service sucked and the staff is rude (and we were there for a birthday). Wouldn't go back, and would recommend you go to Jean's instead.

The food and drinks were good (before I digested) but my concern here is the service. The staff watched our plates like hawks and prematurely swiped them when we still had a few bites left. It was almost as if they didn't have enough plates in the kitchen. I also had my bag on the back of a chair and another staff member scolded me for accidentally dropping it on the ground.

For the price of their mediocre cocktails and entrees, you should not be rushing your guests out the door!!!! Although a very cute restaurant, we were completely rushed out. It was so obvious they were on a clock, our food came so quickly it was uncomfortable. And we didn't ask for the check and were handed it anyways. Understand if the restaurant is at capacity and you have other reservations, but it was by no means full, with multiple tables empty. AND there is no info on Resy suggesting tables are only blocked for X amount of time.

Super slow service and overpriced food. I suppose the reason you'd pay for dinner is to get "soft entry" into the bar downstairs, I.e., stomach the bad/overpriced food so you don't have to wait/pay to get into the bar post-dinner. That strategy works! But if you're just trying to have a nice dinner with food of comparable quality to the prices which it demands, LOOK ELSEWHERE! Damn nation this place is a racket. The red sauce pasta was the highlight, lol.

Food was amazing! I had the Branzino which was one of the best I've ever had. I will definitely be ordering it the next time I go. I also had the Beet Tartare, which I loved. Decor is unique, with a huge tree near the bar that canopies out over the middle of the room. I thought it was great. Cocktails were on point. Great place for a date, especially because if you want to extend there is a really cool speakeasy downstairs. Service was attentive and personable.

Ketchy Shuby does not disappoint. You can spend the whole night here with dinner upstairs & party downstairs. I give this place a 10/10.

Main food was not good, service wasn't good, our server kept giving us attitude and basically just wanted us to leave! The ambiance was great! If you end up going, only get appetizers, they were good!

I have never been treated so poorly at a club. they don't honor any promoter don't even try. this was the worst run business I have ever been to. it was an empty club and we had a table - still had to wait in line and they would not let anyone in even with a table purchase. truly one of the worst experiences I've had in the Hamptons and I have grown up here. They should highly reconsider who they have hired to be their managing staff.

Went for both dinner and brunch and the food was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the chicken and the vodka pasta. The decor and ambiance is relaxed luxury with a 5 star resort vibe. They also have a lounge downstairs that will blow your mind. It's a must see.

Not worth your money. Ordered four drinks and cost $160!!!! Asked for drinks menu and was told by the snobbish bartender that this is a clubs. No drinks menu. Therefore how would you know how much are the drinks. Plus they are charging 20% gratuity on drinks which they are not supposed to unless it's a party or 6 or more. All in all, this is a scam of a place. Not worth your time or money. To be clear, this happened downstairs. Music was shit. Drinks were lower than average. Same as dive bar. This is pure robbery. Just because they put a few guys with a suit to be the security and act like this is some kind of VIP club, does not mean it's the real deal. It's the WORST I've ever been in NYC. This place is Shit.

the hostess mary taylor (texas) saved my LIFE she ran around helping me to find my phone after i lost it and found it for me even after they closed. i had so much fun here and everyone is so nice i recommend!!!

This is a wonderful new addition to the NY dining and club scene. The service and ambiance stand out, in particular. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is vibrant. We had a quasi-business dinner here with clients from Dublin and they were very very impressed. The downstairs club is pretty sexy and has a unique vibe. I recommend it hightly.

The upstairs restaurant is amazing. Great design, very cool vibes, make it the best new date spot in the area. Food is also great. Downstairs, the club is fire. One of the best times you can have in NYC if you can get in.

Went here for dinner with a friend (didn't go to the bar downstairs, so can't share a review on that). We split a few apps and each had an entree and cocktail. We both found the food and drinks to be subpar and the service to be fine. The place felt like it wanted to be cooler than it is.

We had a party of 15 for a birthday and everyone was more than accommodating. Jamie made sure the birthday girl was taken care of and when our reservation was over he helped accommodate us below in the lounge. Food was amazing and the service was great, all of us were very impressed and had the best experience!
