Folks I would not patronize this location especially using the online order process. For me to take this stance and remember months after the incident says a lot, because I am normally gracious even sometimes allowing 2 bad experiences before this type of response. I placed the order and couldn't pick it up my paid for and ready order because the inside was closed @ 8pm and the drive-thru was backed up with cars ordering it took 35-40 minutes, when I finally got to the window. I requested a cancellation of my order and a refund of my $, I was told by the shift manager they can't refund online orders, WOW!

I put in a online order i got the tenders It didn’t have a thing so I can put in I want them tossed in bbq so that’s fine pulled up to drive thu asked her about the bbq thing she said yes but I need to come inside because my food was not ready im like okay that’s fine so I come in I was greeted by a manager (guy) and the cashier (guy) with great energy and everything im like okay yess so I told cashier that I had a online order and I wanted my tenders tossed in bbq like I said in drive thu so the cashier went to ask I guess the cook manager or manager (girl) about the sauce tell me why she started screaming no no we can’t do that all rude and shit and then say is it a online order he said yes then she proceeded to say all yeah I will have to charge you for it like huh you rude with a attitude cause you pick this job AND LOOK AT HOW THEY TOSSED MY TENDERS 🧐 ZERO stars and last time I came they gave me uncooked chicken never coming back -100/10

I dont normally eat at KFC. We had to use the restroom and didn't want to come in without buying something. There wasnt many workers the day we went so the manager was cooking and taking orders. Despite the heavy workload, he was still very kind and friendly. On top of that, the store was hot, hot enough that he was sweating. So I commend him for remaining so professional and kind. Food wise we ordered the KFC mashed potato bowls, and the food was hot, fresh, tasty, and filling. He didn't take long prepare it so the order came out quickly. Another thing to note the restroom is closed to the public, so you'll need a code. It was very packed the day we went but our visit was 6/1/25 on game day, so that could've also been a factor. But do be patient when visiting. I took off a star just because it was hot at the time. The restaurant was very clean and nice otherwise. The same goes for the restrooms very clean.

Got the nugget combo. Served cold with a slider bun. They didn’t have any biscuits which was a disappointment. If I knew that, I would definitely would have not eaten here. My husband said “ his meal was the worst meal he had all year.

I am sitting in a hotel room right now eating mashed potatoes with one of the lids from the takeout container. Forget getting an order right, these people couldn't even get plates and silverware in the bag.. BUT, since we're on the topic of orders. Abandon any hopes of getting what you ordered at this place. The only thing they got right in my order was chicken, and even that is questionable. My 6-year-old son was super happy that there was no mac and cheese for him that I told him he was going to have for dinner. I suppose on a bright note, the sticky, half full bag of soda that they gave me kind of matches the half cooked, squashed biscuits that were stuffed on top of the chicken in the container. Apparently logic does not prevail here, as I received four orders of mashed potatoes and gravy as sides. Long story short, this place sucks, they screwed us after a long travel day. Clearly they don't care about quality there. Sitting here thinking about this now I'm scared I'm going to get food poisoned....

It was mid… the drum legs were pretty small. The Mac & cheese was ehhh, and same for the mashed potatoes & gravy. I guess I remembered it being better when I was a kid. Some lively music could be used to brighten up the place, kinda depressing in there.

Not sure how these are “saucy nuggets” and they are barely covered in any sauce. I was under the impression I would be receiving the ORIGINAL saucy nuggets that we had when we were younger, but I guess not. I haven’t eaten KFC since the BBQ nuggets were discontinued. Now it seems as though I don’t have a reason to go back.

Absolutely the Worst KFC Experience Ever. If I could give zero stars, I would. We stopped at the KFC in Smyrna, GA to place a mobile order because, hey, I’m all about catching those deals. We parked and waited, and immediately noticed a group of employees outside in what can only be described as a disorganized huddle of chaos. No one seemed to be working, just hanging out. We waited a full 15–20 minutes until the app finally told us our order was ready. When I pulled through the drive-thru to pick it up, I was told “it just popped up” and to pull back around in 5 minutes. Not even a “please park and we’ll bring it out” just pure laziness. On top of that, we paid extra for sauces 20 cents each and didn’t receive a single one. I also paid extra for a hot honey chicken sandwich, only to be informed at the window (after they handed me my bag) that they were out of the sauce. At that point, it was too late to make any changes. If I wanted a plain chicken sandwich, I would’ve ordered one. The food was trash. The chicken was stringy, dry, and clearly not fresh. The mashed potatoes and corn were barely above gas station microwave meal quality something I’d expect from Dollar Tree, not a national chain. I’m from Florida, and my local KFC in Navarre puts this one to shame with their food *and* service. This Smyrna location? Easily the worst KFC I’ve ever been to.

I went here to try the new BBQ Fried Chicken Sandwich. Upon arrival, I noticed they allow those attending the Braves game park in their lot. This sucked as it was hard to actually get into the lot with so many cars parked along the side. But luckily the spots closest to the entrance were available. When I walked in, I went to place my order with the cashier. I had a gift card to use and the cashier had some difficulty processing my payment with a gift card. One time it declined and another employee laughed like I was the issue. Kind of rude on his behalf. The inside of this restaurant was really nice. I loved the decor and the history facts posted along the walls. Lastly, I was really impressed of the BBQ fried chicken sandwich. It was tasty. Definitely recommend trying the sandwich if your like BBQ sauce, fried chicken and bacon.

This place is horrible. I ordered using the drive thru on 12/18/24. The person at the window taking money had on plastic gloves that were ripped so her skin was exposed. The food I received was the worst KFC I have ever had. The chicken appeared to be undercooked. The breading on the chicken was falling off and much lighter than golden brown. And the taste was off. The slaw was dry and did not taste like the usual KFC slaw. The mashed potatoes had an odd taste. Have they always tasted fake? I ended up throwing the entire 8 pc meal away.

I ordered a 16 pc family meal and I got there late because I went to the wrong KFC, upon arriving my order wasn't at the pickup shelf, I asked about it and they accused me of having a friend or somebody I knew pick it up beforehand. Instead of trying to satisfy my order and get me on my way out, one of the "managers" yelled out they wouldn't remake it just because they're a manager. I don't care if my order isn't here, but the fact they wouldn't fix their own mistake because they couldn't bother to verify the pickup, isn't my problem. Horrible management and a horrible team, should definitely get shutdown or get a new team, because what is going on?!

So I placed an online order at 5:06pm it was supposed to be ready at 5:26pm. I arrived at this location at 5:50pm as I knew it wouldn't be ready at 5:26pm and was told that my order would take 15 more minutes because I ordered extra crispy. I informed them that I placed the order almost an hour ago and didn't feel like waiting so I would just take the original recipe. They said ok, and a few minutes later they handed me my bag. I asked if everything was in there, she said yes. I asked her if she was sure, she assured me everything was in there. As I was driving home, I made a left turn and 2 sides of Mac & cheese fell out the bag, but I didn't order any Mac & cheese. I pulled over to inspect the contents of the bag. I had 3 sides of Mac & cheese although I had ordered none, a side of mash potatoes, again, which I did not order, and I was missing my cole slaw, chicken sandwich and my wings. The only correct part of the order was the bucket of chicken. I turned around and headed back to the location. I informed the manager that my order was incorrect, to which she told me that they handed me the wrong order. She then hands me another bag and tells me this is my order. I again asked if it was correct, she told me it was. I decided to look inside before I left this time. I was missing my wings. The box that was inside the bag contained biscuits instead of wings, and my order had no biscuits as it was chicken only. I informed the manager of this new mistake, to which she sighed and rolled her eyes, very classy. I didn't respond as I just wanted to get out of there at this point. My order was finally complete and correct after 3 attempts at 6:15pm. My order was very basic (12 pieces of chicken, 1 side of cole slaw, 1 chicken sandwich, 1 order of 8 pieces of wings) took over an hour. Could've gone to a steak house and got my food quicker. This place is consistently horrible. I'm not sure why it hasn't either closed yet or flipped the staff and or ownership. This model that they have isn't working. It was better when it was a Buffett years ago. Less interaction with the staff and less mistakes, food was better then as well. They should probably go back to that. I put in a complaint to corporate on Tuesday 9/26, no response as of yet. I guess if corporate doesn't care, why should the franchisee or employees care. I just won't go back.

Be careful!! Last Sunday I visited this KFC via drive thru.... My order was correct. The issue was my credit card was not returned to me. Realized it on way home... double checked my car & purse. I called & told them my CC should be at register. He checked & said not there & they would put in safe & nothing was turned in. I called credit card company.... My card was used for 2 transactions within a short amount of time, card was cancelled.

Five thumbs down I placed an online order, it was supposed to be ready for pickup at 7:06pm. I arrived at 7:10. They hadn't even started the order. I sat there in the lobby waiting for my order until 7:40. HALF AN HOUR WAIT FOR AN ORDER PLACED IN ADVANCE. Never did get my food. Times up. I left. I tried to call the KFC 1-800 number, spent 15mins listening to hold music. No answer. I hung up. If the transaction hits I'll dispute it with AmEx. Never again with this place.

I haven't been at KFC since 1975 , a friend of mine and I went shopping for Xmas and she suggested to go to KFC, I must say it haven't changed a bit, food very delicious especially the mash potatoes and gravy,all I can say it bring some great memories. I would definitely go back again

I just stopped by the window 2:40 pm 09/14 I ordered 16 original pieces only leg and thigh, but it turns out that they do not have chickens to sell me 16 pieces and the cashier was rude and despotic they should not employ people who do not have the shape or the attitude of how to give good customer service is .The first time that happens to me that unpleasant ... well I just hope that the managers instruct their employees better on how to give a better customer service

As other reviews have mentioned, this location is notorious for getting orders wrong; even a simple order like this: a crispy colonel sandwich with "nashville hot" spices. As you can see by the image, this was a pathetic attempt at adding those spices. As a food reviewer for other magazines and websites, I will make it my goal to review this poorly prepared order in every channel that I'm involved with.

I got my great aunt with me again today. And of course she wants her KFC fix. But I have to say this chicken is nothing to run home about anymore. Whatever the secret recipe is, they obviously has forgotten about it. The taste of the chicken has a funny, old grease taste. The chicken is more mushy breading than chicken. And my God the size of the chicken now is ridiculous. Your paying at least $8.00 for 3 pieces of chicken. And you get something that look like it should be on a small child's plate. If it wasn't for my aunt I would NOT visit KFC. Oh! At this location the dining area is almost never clean. There was pulled out napkins and straw wrappers all over the drink fountain area. And all on the floors.

Why have me wait in the drive thru, at the speaker for over 5 minutes with no cars on front of me to tell me you cannot take cards in the drive thru? Makes no sense?? It's always a problem here. I get it that people are short staffed and it's hard these days but the least you can do is talk to people at the speaker?? I've attempted to get food here over 6 times and have successfully get my food once! It's close to my apartment, I just wanted some tenders and it's a problem since I moved here 3 months ago. What a waste of time and space to have this KFC there. Might as well close down since you can't serve anyone.

Cobb Pkwy Smyrna, GA The most unprofessional managers I ever seen. Totally messed up my order and when I tried to call to let someone know I was hung up on 3 times by 3 different people. I did not use any expletives at any time. I merely asked for the number to corporate or an Area Supervisor. I have observed things like this before at this location but this is the first time experiencing it myself. I have been living in this area for 12yrs and eating at this location the same amount of time. It was originally a buffet location.

I was lured by KFC's Nashville spicy promotion. This convenient location is on Cobb Parkway just outside of I-285. I did the drive thru. Watch OUT for the big pot holes under the window. I got the box lunch with 2 pieces, cole slaw and a biscuit. With the tax, it was just under $6. I was eager to get my fingers on them but they were already cold only 10 minutes later. Bummer. I don't eat fried chicken but once a year or two. Here's the DL. - Nashville spicy chicken (not spicy but salty & really greasy) + Price ++ Cole slaw (yummy) - Biscuit - Drive thru (pot holes) = Service Besides their cole slaw, the whole experience was disappointing.

Would leave a once star review if i could. I ordered the $30 fill up. once I got home (7 miles away), I discovered they had not included the chicken strip portion of the order. I returned and asked for the 12 strips they had left off my order. I was told that apparently they did not believe me, and that I had to pay for the 12 strips if I wanted them. This is absolutely disgusting customer service and those responsible should be fired. I will be filing a fraud claim on my credit card.

I should have read the reviews before walked in the door. Coming from out of state, I thought all KFCs had a standard... boy was I mistaken. For starters the cashier (young gal with glasses) got my order wrong, I had to bring it to her attention that I wanted a #4 and not a 4pc chicken tender. She rings up the correct order and then comes back to say "we only have original chicken for the breast, you can have the other pieces in extra crispy." How does KFC run out of ORIGINAL CHICKEN?! She tried to make it up by offering 2 additional sides, I declined, so she gave me 4pcs of original chicken breast. Ok, good attempt on her part, but the 1st piece was dry and had been sitting for awhile, as I started working on the 2nd piece I noticed a short curly hair that had been cooked into the breading. This was enough to make me lose my appetite. I immediately brought it to the managers attention (Blonde lady) and it took her a moment to figure out what to say, she then offered a different piece which I obviously declined as well. Needless to say I walked out leaving the rest of my meal untouched on the table. (I hope she didn't put the other pieces back under the heat lamps!) Unacceptable visit. I took the survey on the receipt to Express my concern. I hope KFC Corp takes these surveys seriously as well as the reviews found here.

Every once in a while, I crave for fried chicken. It's sad to see that this KFC quality control has gone out of control. My fried chicken was neither breaded properly, nor too much breaded. Most of the time their friend chicken is too oily. My last 2 visits (1 year separation) showed that they don't seem to improve and I will not go there again. Next time I crave for fried chicken, I'll go for Popeyes.

Now, this is KFC but a review had to go up in regards of a buffet. It isn't all that bad. Just lose all consciousness: fill your plate with chicken, tatos, throw in their mac & cheese (which is not bad. The buffet is under $7, definitely not bad for KFC. Surprised more franchises do not have this and i'm not sure why. I don;t care what any of yall say, they food straight, that's why they get the grade below. Grade: C

If I was here to rate the food, I would have given this specific location 2.5 stars HOWEVER your employee who was on the other end taking my order definitely made up for it. He was very kind and had an energy about him that made my day. So I appreciate you KEECELL. I was there over a month ago, was meaning to give a shout out but lost my receipt - miraculously found it this morning and felt the need to share my experience. Give that boy a raise! If not, find me my guy and I'll help put you in a place that sees you and knows your worth.

Quite frankly I would prefer fresh and hot food first then "okay" customer service . Despite the woman taking my order and talking to other people loud and annoyingly , not hearing my order at all . Asking two times to repeat the order , that wasn't my issue . My issue was the food that they served us . It wasn't hot . It wasn't fresh . When we got home , we were disturbingly disappointed and wished we had taken the reviews a little bit more seriously .

I can see why their ratings here are so low....they are terrible. Wifey and I stopped by yesterday (Sun) evening, 7pm....they had no chicken except dark meat original and was telling folks it would be 20 minutes before fresh chicken was available. First...this is the heat of dinner traffic...no chicken? Obviously no management either....bad customer service, bad processes.... yep, will no longer visit this location....will take the extra 8 min and drive to the Big Chicken. KFC in Smyrna....get it together...u need help, bad!!

We chose this location to dine in because they have a buffet option. Which is a huge mistake in this place. To start off, the chicken (both fried and grilled) were so dry! The biscuits tasted horrible ( I usually LOVE the KFC biscuits). The music in the dinning room was non existing and made it awkward. The lady who works here was rude, there is no sign on the steam table to let us know to wait while they put a tray in for us to continue serving ourselves and she just screamed and sarcastically said we would burn our hands if we didn't wait. The dinning room was dirty with greasy floors (dangerous) and they didn't mop it after a fellow customer told them about it. Never coming here again I will return to the Marietta location. Hope Corp. fixes this place up & hires new people

Wasn't bad should have taken a picture. I ordered a number 1 original recipe. Got my food within a reasonable amount of time wasn't to bad but it was suuuuuper greasy for it to be original recipe. More like Original Greasy recipe I had to soak two napkins filled with grease to eat it. The lady who took my order was very sweet but kept cutting me off when I was trying to place my order that normally aggravated me but I'll live.

Worst KFC experience ever. I'm a KFC Chicken lover but the food is cold, tastes bad and oily at 6 pm in evening. The server are confused about the menu options and food stocks. Don't expect Politeness from them, even they so frustrated or in their world that forget to greet you or even show a smile in their face. Rude and louder behaviors of manager. Avoid this place if you want a pleasant and real KFC meal and experience.

Service is awful at this location. Kizzy is a big fat unpersonable idiot. And I don't mean fat - as in size. This woman gave me attitude the moment I pulled up. She couldn't hear me - I guess because of 1) bad intercom and 2) the box truck idling next to me (making deliveries to KFC no less). She was rude and abrupt when I tried to ask about an item I had previously ordered. Then she interrupted me to tell me she couldn't hear me. When I projected my voice and asked if she could hear me now - instead of answering, she responds in the most tired, annoyed voice, "Ma'am (with audible loud sigh). . . go ahead with your order." Exasperated, I finally drove up to the window and someone else (a nice male employee) took my order and told me the price but needed her to override something or turn a key to finish the transaction. Kizzy came over (shiny with sweat) and told him that my meal only included one side. He said, "Oh! I thought the breast snack came with two sides. Well that was my bad - I'll take care of it. Just give it to her." Now keep in mind - at this point - he had stepped away and was preparing my order (a chicken breast with potato wedges and slaw). He handed it to her and Kizzy took it upon herself to open my box - take out the coleslaw and hand it to me minus the coleslaw. Does Kizzy realize this is illegal? You cannot tell someone one price - take their payment. Then amend the transaction before delivering the goods. Kizzy also jammed her big meat hooks - with no food safety gloves into my box which I did not appreciate at all. She had been working the cash register / handling money previously and doing God only knows what else with those paws. Icing on the cake: Kizzy is the manager. Added bonus - she's wearing long individual braids - pulled up and wrapped in a bun jutting off the back of her big fat head - but no hair net! I don't care if the hair's fake - I still don't want it in or near my food !!!!

The KFC Buffet is like an abusive boyfriend. In times of irrationality, when I'm feeling low and the melancholy can only be lanced with a heaping helping of salt and MSG masquerading as 11 herbs and spices, I head for the KFC Buffet. The very trip fills me with shame and I know I deserve better. I glop on my plate the "mashed potatoes" two words in this case equally deserving of their own quotes. I add the gravy that I eat with abandon, eyes teary with self-loathing. Their mac and cheese, so vaguely an approximation of good mac and cheese that even the boxed stuff Kraft makes calls it his bitch. And yet I go through the line scooping with scoops and tonging with tongs and knowing better, but doing it anyway. "Hey, gotta grab that extra thigh of original recipe so I can justify the purchase of this $5.99 buffet!" Idiot. Rationalizations pass through me like KFC's corn nibblets...which I've already scooped on my plate. I return to work half the man I was that morning yet paradoxically gaining 10 extra pounds. So boo to you KFC buffet! I hate you. I never want to see you again. (Call me, okay?)

During the lunch hour the Cashier while striving to be efficient and keep the line moving was very rude and short with customers. Before you could finish your sentence she was on to the next question. This resulted in my sandwich being made incorrectly. Returned to counter received new sandwich expecting it to be made correctly. Well, once again made wrong! Returned to counter said 2nd sandwich that has been made wrong. Cashier replies "I didn't make the sandwich" I never said she personally made the sandwich. I just what I asked and paid for to be made correctly. I assume she was the manager so I didn't bother to ask for manager. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location.

Where DO they get their chickens? I swear, every time I've been here, I get the smallest chicken legs in the free-range world. If it had a wing, it would try to hide under it from the shame of it all. Don't ask for a thigh - I've actually been told a whole one doesn't exist - they simply cut the whole one in 1/2 and give you 1/2 a thigh. I didn't believe it till I saw it. Poor chicken. Poor, poor, chicken. I've had to wait on this poor chicken, too. Once, they had no biscuits at all (and no customers, either. Did the 1/2 thigh chicken lose control and hide them or something?) Had to wait at least 30 minutes for my biscuit. The skinny chicken leg was eaten in about 30 seconds, so I slooooowly at my sides (sans biscuit). I ate my small (but hot) biscuit on the way home. The drive-through isn't much better. Never any of this, that or the other and they always want to substitute something.

Avoid this location! Drive through attendant was very short and rude. The first food order was served cold, missing the sauces, and the lemonade we ordered with it was warm. The second order was missing the included chocolate chip cookie. The manager who was handing the food out of the window held the food out of reach, while completely ignoring us for a solid 45 seconds. Worst KFC location I have visisted. They are rude and mess the orders up. Avoid this location.

I'm not proud of what doing a review on KFC says about me. I know what the reality is - I need protein on this diet and for some reason this particular location is close to my house, has late hours and has carb-less grilled chicken. The surprise, to me anyway, was the service. Even in the drive-thru. I don't know if the good-manners-and-friendliness-fairy dropped a bomb on them or what, but I just had an incredibly pleasant experience knit-picking in that late night drive-thru. Could hear every word at the speaker, got my unusual order 100% correct, then smiled, quickly finished the transaction, and they were 100% accurate. Maybe I won't slouch so much in the front seat anymore, worried that someone might see me here.

Had one of those "whats for dinner?" "I'm sick of cooking" nights..So ran by KFC after checking their nutritional fact sheet on their website.. who knew their Mac & cheese was a healthier option than those biscuits! hmmm... Fried chicken breast sans the skin is the best way to go!..and although they don't really advertise it, you can get individual pieces! Oh yah, pass on that chicken pot pie 14 grams of trans fat! yikes!!

Never Again...went to the KFC today about 1pm, granted it was lunch time but we had to wait about 15 minutes just to give our order. There eas only 1 person taking order and handling the register. Rather ridiculous. Why cand they hire another person to take orders and handle the register. Help this girl out. She was about to lose it. She said lunch time was always like that. It reminded me of Wal-Mart at the busiest times they never have enough people work the registers.

Drive-thru speaker sounded terrible. We really had no idea what the woman was yelling. Clearly they were told to yell into it because of the malfunction. When we got to the window she was yelling into the headset it was terrifying. We kind of got what we ordered. It was close enough. Still this place left a lot to be desired.

The buffet was reasonable.. But the chicken wasn't fresh! They put chicken in the buffet from the left over chicken that doesn't got for take out! And the fresh chicken goes to the take out..

Corporate should really look into this location. Starting from their managers all the way down to their cashiers. Rude, loud, a noxious. They don't stock up on their promotions. I went in there wanting a kids meal and the cashier told me "OH WE DONT CARRY KAPRISUNS" . So why promote something you don't have? Then I complete my order and ask for hot sauce I get handed 2 packets for almost a whole family meal. 2 packets are you serious? So instead of dining in we decide to leave. On our way out I ask politely for more hot sauce. ( at this point I'm willing to pay for it). The cashier looks at me and with a smirk on her/ his because I don't know what they're trying to be. Says" ooooh we only have 5 packets left. I can't give them to you because if another customer comes in and wants hot sauce I have to give it to them". WOW really? I hope they fire everyone or close this location down. I don't get why you work there if you hate it or hate customers. Nobody made you get this job. Men horrible service.
