KFC South Kensington - Gloucester Road

Small location on street level but plenty of seating downstairs. It's fairly clean and the service was adequate, even though the touch screens for ordering were out of service when we arrived, but the food itself was not great. The "zinger" chicken burger was quite bland with toppings in meager amounts. Fries are the typical British variety, more like potato sticks than what I'd consider actual French fries. Only Pepsi available, no Coke. If you're a big fan of British KFC I'm sure you'll be happy with your visit, but otherwise there are also other fast food options nearby.

We stopped here because we were going on the underground, and my grandson was very happy to find the popcorn chicken meal was just as good as home. There is plenty of additional seating in the lower level as well as nice free washrooms.

Ordered bites and they ain't put no sauce on them. Why move stingy with it the only reason they are ordered is for the sauce. The wrap was alright

Do not accept Scottish notes. Rude staff. Apparently the bank doesn’t accept this money either. As indicated by the store in their reply, there was no misunderstanding. I gave them a Scottish note and they said they don’t accept that. There is nothing to misunderstand. The girl was very rude and she told her colleague he shouldn’t have accepted the money then handed me it back. Claims the bank don’t accept it.

Standards have really dropped. I'm not impressed. What used to be a cheap comfort meal is now a depressing, expensive mistake.

If you’re travelling by tube on Piccadilly, District or Circle line and hungry then this is the place you should go to. It’s just out of the station, not even a min away. I went around 10 pm on a Wednesday, was served in 3 min. Bought a Gravy mega box with large curry, should suffice one. See the pic, 1 piece of chicken, 1 mini fillet, 2 hot wings, large gravy & large fries. Wings and gravy was good but mini fillet was too cold.

I had a very unpleasant experience at KFC Gloucester Road today. The cashier name Yashwanth insisted that I write a Google review about their service right after I ordered my food. She even asked to take my phone so she could write the review herself. When I refused and said I would write it myself later, she threatened that my order would not be released unless I posted a review immediately. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Customers should never be pressured or forced to give reviews, especially not in exchange for receiving their paid order. Such conduct is misleading and unethical, and it damages KFC’s reputation for customer care. I strongly urge KFC management to review this staff member’s conduct and ensure proper training on customer ethics and professional service.
