"This Gloucester Road outlet is running a four-week trial (from 17 June) of the chain’s first vegan chicken burger, made from Quorn mycoprotein and marketed as The Imposter. The patty is processed to resemble a chicken breast and comes with a secret herb-and-spice coating, lettuce and vegan mayonnaise (no vegan cheese). A sampler described it as “firm and vaguely chicken-y,” not too dry or spongy, and noted that the spiced coating is the main draw.
