The 38 Best Restaurants in Bangkok, Thailand

"Rice porridge in Thailand is for three kinds of people: sick patients, dieters, and late-night partiers. Open until the wee hours of the morning, this century-old rice porridge shop in Chinatown is decidedly for the last group, as well as a favorite haunt for after-hours chefs. Whatever is fresh that day is displayed in front so that patrons can choose what they’d like and how they’d like it cooked. Although ingredients change from time to time, some dishes remain constant, like the tea-smoked duck and the clear soup with pickled plum." - Chawadee Nualkhair, Austin Bush, Sirin Wongpanit

If you're in Chinatown, make sure to visit this restaurant. Great atmosphere, and absolutely great authentic local food. The food is cooked over charcoal. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. A must when in Bangkok.

Something about the food, the atmosphere, the reputation, having from locals knowing they would order before arriving and tourists practically standing and waiting to enjoy their Thai street food for the first or second time. Last check, cash only folks. Queuing is expected but "Jay Suay" keeps her guests entertained

Delicious Chinese street food dining style. Not expensive but there is no price list on the menu. Average dish is about 75 baht. Table is on the road side. Easy to order , just point out on the picture menu.

Took the crew (total 20 people) here for my post B-Day, every dish we ordered 4 plates each. Only comment I would say is the Smoke Duck was too dry and a bit chewie, the rest was very good. The Glass noodles with Cowslip Creeper "ดอกขจร" was the highlight dish of the night, a MUST ORDER. Fried Red Pork "Char Sui" is something that I never had before, "MUST ORDER" Pork and Plum Soup was full of flavor, I liked it more than the Tom Yum here. This is a very local place, not touristy, but highly recommended, should always trust the locals. Server was very helpful recommending the dishes, and categorizing what to order; Fried, Yum, Soups, Veggies, Stir Fried, etc.... Will be back for sure :-) Oh, only except CASH, no credit cards, no QR Code or Bank Transfer, so come prepare and you will not be disappointed!!!

I have to say, it is worth to try, the menu no price but it is really reasonable is we ate 7 dishes, and 2 bottle of beers, 2 steam rice and 1 boiled rice (congee), it costs 870 TB. The food included the seafood, intestine, oyster egg omelette and pork, eggplant.... It is one of best restaurant i tried it now. There is no air conditioner and you only sit at the side of road, but it is just like local to eat. Hot summer with good food. ( We ate too much, i think only 2-3 dishes is ok)
