Super delicious! I love the food and the vibes at this place are so light and fun. Pricing is super reasonable and the flavors are so good! Highly recommend for lunch and could even make a nice dinner takeout. The spam musubi is so delicious so make sure you get one of them with your meal. Overall very solid casual place and definitely should check it out!

I got to try this place through a Yelp event. Check in was really simple. You provide your name then they will explain what you get and give you a choice to pick your Yelp swag (chopsticks or fanny pack). I got a small loco Moco plate. They replaced one scope of rice with an inari of my choice. I got the Cajun tuna mayo inari. I was a bit disappointed with my loco Moco. The flavors are supposed to be umami packed in the gravy and the meat but they were not. The dish overall was pretty light in flavor which I'm starting to notice as a trend with Korean made food. The Cajun tuna mayo inari has a very slight spicy taste but you can really taste the tuna (which I don't like). The inari and rice stuffing was really good though. We ordered another 4 piece set of inari - half Cajun and half regular tuna mayo inari. They charged it as a 4 piece set of Cajun inari though ($8.49). They look identical and barely taste different. It's that slight spiciness that helps you identify it as Cajun. Wanted to order an everything musubi but they didn't have any musubi that day. We get 50% off a drink so I ordered a Pina colada shake but they didn't have it so they recommended me the mango peach shake. I was got strawberry popping boba with it and OMG, this was one of the best non-milk tea drink I had in a long time! It was super tasty, didn't melt quickly, and is a good value. Their drinks are only $5 which is hard to find these days as prices have spiked.

Amazing !!! Wasn’t able to take a before picture because I was so excited to try it but here is the after of everything I couldn’t finish! The portions are huge! 🔥 I had the small bulgogi beef with edamame & mac salad. For some reason I expected the edamame to taste like the garlic ones but they have a different unique taste, nothing like what I expected but still great! The only thing that didn’t tickle my taste buds was the spicy red sauce on the side, luckily I grabbed an eel sauce as well & that one was great! The people at the counter were nice too & it was really quick to grab the food! 🫶🏼For a total price of $12.05 it’s definitely worth trying !

Hands down best Hawaiian spot in Ktown. Extremely delicious food and drinks. Friendly staff that makes you feel like ohana (that's family in Hawaiian, FYI). I mean, where else can you get barbecue plates,milktea,and spam musubi all in one place? Their musubi’s are a game-changer, and don't even get me started on the milktea- it's like a sip of new life in a cup. Plus, the vibe is always chill and the decor is super Instagrammable. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this spot is a must-try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Came here for an early dinner after being recommended from an apartment leasing agent after an apartment tour. Overall good value, and great service from the staff. Food came out quickly, and parking is partially validated ($2 off) at the lot behind the actual restaurant on Mariposa (right behind the Brass Monkey). Great lunch spot - would come here again to pick up some food and eat it elsewhere. What we ordered: 1 small Hawaiian chicken plate (came with 2 sides and 1 sauce - we got macaroni salad and edamame for our sides, and the gochujang sauce) 1 4-pc order of the inari set (2 spam, 1 crab and 1 cajun tuna) 1 spam & egg musubi Everything came out to around $26 with a $2 tip, and it was very filling for the two of us. They have a cute interior, including a photo booth for instant photos for $4/session. Didn’t get to try their drinks, but had a big selection of beverages that included soft drinks like hawaiian punch and catcus cooler, and also had shakes and various boba drinks.

Soo yummy! Such a cute place with great value for your money. Big portions and great prices. They even have a cute photo booth you can take pics in while you wait for you food. Will be back!

You can't Koreanify everything. It's supposed to be Hawaiian, but there's like a kimchi Cole slaw and bulgogi beef. The seeweed flakes overpower the plain white rice I wanted. The macaroni salad's taste is off.The overall flavor is off because it's too heavily Korean. There's nothing wrong with Korean food, but I wanted Hawaii-inspired food. The next day I went to a proper Hawaiian fast food place with proper macaroni salad. It was such a huge difference, and it was delicious. ** I reviewed your Instagram -- you should definitely advertise as non traditional Hawaii/// Korean food. If I would have known when I walked by, I wouldn't have walked in and been so disappointed.

A cute, clean, and bright casual Korean/Hawaiian fusion restaurant on Wilshire. I would assume parking would be super challenging, so be ready to park a few blocks away and walk. Very friendly service and helpful staff. We even got a small cup of chili to try that they're considering for the menu. We ordered a large Bulgogi Beef Plate and Cali Khrab Meat & Tuna inari. The portions were definitely enough for two people to share. Great place for a quick meal.

Was looking for something different and found Khawaiian on Yelp. I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken Inari, Cali crab inari (imitation) and spam masubi with egg. All was really good, super carby due to the rice, but that's expected. The inari comes with 4 pieces each, which is plenty! Must try if you're looking for something different. Can't wait to come back to try their plates!

I really like this place, it sucks that there aren't that many businesses anymore around here to keep these kind of places in business. I went there today around 6:15 and the two people in there told me that it was closed forever.

This dish gave me food poisoning, and wasn't even tasty enough to be worth the pain. The sides and rice were amazing A+ work. The shrimp was all overcooked and dry. One of the shrimps could not be properly peeled but the other eight or so were fine. The inari sushi was good and a low price per portion. Look at all that crab meat! The staff are pretty polite, though the place does close at 7 so keep that in mind.

Came here based on overall rating. I've been enjoying Hawaiian food and this spot is cheaper than the spot I've been going to. I regret it and I just left like 20 minutes ago. So they no longer sell the shrimp plate which is what I went there for. Parking is terrible in that area so I just put my hazards on and went in. If I was still parked I'd probably go in and ask for a refund. But I just made it home and tried it. The macaroni salad tastes like straight macaroni and mayonnaise. I threw it away after one forkful. No flavor. The Oreo shake looks good but also, no real flavor. I got 2 musubis. Took a bite. It's decent. But damn, I just wasted $20. So glad I didn't get a plate. If traffic and parking wasn't so annoying I'd go back and ask for a refund. I hate wasting food but I just took another sip of the shake. I'm throwing this away too and getting my regular spot instead. I tried.

LATEST UPDATE - I got very sick after eating food here and threw up more than 30 times last night through the morning hours. I should've trusted my instincts when the food tasted weird to me! This is AWFUL! The chicken was mushy and tasted funny. The rice was cold - everything was premade. The spam and eel musubi was slimy and cold. It tasted weird!

Surprisingly there's not a ton of Hawaiian spots in LA but Khawaiian fills that void. They recommended we try the loco moco and I would recommend it as well! The patties were filling and juicy. The proportions are great, a lot but not too much. You can definitely have leftovers for a meal if you get the large plate. The everything musubi were good, too. I can probably eat 5 on my own if I could. They also let us try each protein so if you can't make up your mind, just ask! Their juice was great, too! Forgot which one we had but it was fruity with a hint of Milkis. The staff were great and very kind! I'm definitely coming by again.

This spot is a nice hole in the wall Korean-Hawaiian fusion spot. The inside is nice and clean with a large mirror to take photos in. Food: great! You get two sides along with rice and your meat and we decided to go with double scoops of Mac salad... cause Mac salad. The Tuna Mayo inari is pretty good! It's inari stuffed with sushi rice and tuna Mayo - tastes pretty good with the spicy mayo. Honestly, everything complements each other so well. Service: amazing! They were so nice! Especially the woman behind the counter. She was so kind and was so helpful.

Musubis were fantastic and the plate was even better. Stewart was the man and made sure I ordered the right thing. There's so much food and I won't be hungry for days.

Came here for lunch and I wasn't a fan. Like anywhere in Ktown, parking can be hard to find and inconvenient, so it's mostly for the workers that can walk here. I ordered the loco moco and i wasn't impressed. The patty was dry. The rice is too hard for my taste and the Mac salad could use more flavor. I love Hawaiian food too! The service was nice and the decor is cool, but I just don't know if I would come back.

Finally got to try this place and wasn't disappointed! Craving Hawaiian food with a Korean twist? This is your spot! The bulgolgi was really good and loved the spicy mayo. The Macaroni was on point as well. Overall a very good meal and extremely nice employees :)

I ordered the bulgogi beef plate with spicy cabbage. And a Cajun tuna Mayo Inari. I wish they would have said kimchi style fermented cabbage on the phone when i placed the order. I'm just assuming it was regular cabbage. Bc I am very sensitive to kimchi (not sure what seasoning I'm allergic to). But I had to throw it away. The inari was good But the tofu was very soggy Bulgogi was a tad bit chewy and lacked salt/seasoning. Parking is quite challenging. Don't get ticketed. Find a legal parking spot/lot. Friendly customer service.

I come to this place every week! Excellent hawaiian plate in Ktown. I recommend their chicken plate. Macaroni salad is fantastic too. Portions are huge and one of the hidden gems in ktown for the price. They also have musubi. Recommend the spam and egg musubi. Would skip on the eel, the sauce was a little strong. Owner is awesome! Very friendly, welcoming. Tried the thai tea and oreo shake and it was a little watery

Milk tea -- there is only one size option. It was on the sweeter side to my liking (my fault because I forgot to ask for less sugar), but the boba were firmly chewy which was a plus! Not a big deal, but the boba are smaller than typical (but not the minis). Something to be mindful of for parents who's young kids like bubble tea! The plates come with two sides. I ordered the small bulgogi plate which came with generous portions of both rice and meat, and chose edemame and spicy cabbage salad as my sides. The cabbage is more like cole slaw in texture than kimchi. They also generously added a tuna Inari sushi -- bonus! The tuna was tossed in a mayo-based sauce which I usually lean away from, but if you like that, this is right up your alley. Quick service on a weekday around 5p. There is a small dine-in area (bar seating at the window overlooking the sidewalk). It's location seems to be geared more toward people who work in Ktown or hyper-locals of which I am neither so not sure I'll be back, but an interesting concept of Korean-Hawaiian fusion.

Parking: it's ktown. If you know you know. However, I believe there is parking around the corner behind the store. I parked in front and risked getting a ticket. Location: it's not ideal- good for ppl who are on foot Food: if you've been to Hawaii or you're from there. You probably will be offended. It's okay, I felt I was eating more of a Korean cuisine rather than a Hawaiian dish. Oh I ordered around 6pm and they ran out of everything but the beef. I did enjoy their spicy tuna rice roll wrapped in fried tofu! Service: everyone was sweet and you can tell their team is hard working! Ambiance: only window bar seating, so it's more of a to-go place. It's fun, cute decor is welcoming and menus are easy to ready but maybe they should explain some of the dishes

Came here with my family. Location was clean and aesthetic of this place was nice, great photo ops. I asked the worker what was their most popular inari, her response was tuna which ended up being our favorite. We ordered the tuna mayo, Hawaiian chicken, and bulgogi beef Inari. We also ordered the Thai milk tea and Oreo shake, the Thai tea was pretty average and good, the Oreo shake was so good and perfect for the heat. We also tried the egg and spam masubi which was really good! Definitely will be back to try other things on the menu.

Khawaiian is a korean hawaiian fusion spot in the middle of ktown. Highly rec doing street parking in the residential streets nearby instead of the parking garage behind khawaiian. They have the place nicely decorated, which is very LA! The people that helped me were so nice and gave me yelp chopsticks for the elite event. Highly recommend getting the spicy cajun inari. It's so good!! I'm definitely coming back to get more of this. It's basically spicy tuna on top of rice, rolled in a fried tofu, seaweed-like wrapper. It's my first time having this dish and I'm hooked. The tuna wasnt fishy at all and the whole thing was perfectly flavorful. The bulgogi is just ok! They give you a lot and the meat is cooked nicely, but I did add more sauce since it was more on the bland side.

This spot is very cute and definitely serves the Korean&Hawaiian vibe - and the service is amazing. This is my second time going and I usually get the Beef Bulgogi Plate with noodles and it's good and filling. Best thing is the food comes fresh at a great price. Good spot!

I really enjoy the many options they have for musubi. So far I have tried the bake sauce musubi and it was delicious! The plates here are very filling! In addition, the staff here are very kind and love the environment of the store!

This is one of my main lunch spots because they have a good Hawaiian/korean meal mix! I love their macaroni salad and the serving size is pretty good, especially for the price! I would def recommend for a quick lunch. They also have a cute photo-booth inside if you want to take pictures with your significant other or friends!

I'm totally excited to try this place. I think the idea for Korean/Hawaiian fusion is awesome. They have a good variety of dishes. Not too much not too little. Just gave Cajun tuna and Hkrab meat. So good. So clean and fresh tasting. I'll be back.

I'm teetering between 3-4 stars for this place. There were some really good highs, but also had some low lows. Being a newer spot I'm not expecting perfection, but I think there's definitely some room for early improvements :) Starting with food, I got a small plate which came with garlic shrimp, mac salad, spicy cabbage, rice, Cajun tuna inari, and a small corn on the cob. I also got spam & eel musubi, and a regular milk tea. Pros: The whole grilled garlic cloves on the shrimp were soo good and the corn was well seasoned with Cajun spices. The musubi is the closest thing to a Hawaiian musubi that I've had in california - very tasty! Milk tea was very strong, I only drank half and it kept me up ALL night. Cons: The mac salad was super bland and underwhelming. This was definitely more korean-style mac than Hawaiian-style. The spicy cabbage was more like kimchi than cabbage so I wish that was disclosed. I was expecting more of a coleslaw but it was very sour and fermented. The inari itself was veerryy good but the mayo overpowered the Cajun spice in the tuna filling, so it wasn't spicy to me. Service was good and everyone was super kind, but the music is so loud inside and the cashier was soft spoken. The cashier took her time to explain the menu and the plate options, but due to the music I couldn't hear her.

I stumbled on this restaurant on Yelp when I was trying to look for a place to eat. This is such a cute spot. I adore their cute restaurant logo. I ordered the garlic shrimp plate, Hawaiian chicken plate, everything musubi, and a Thai tea with boba. The large plates come with 2 scoops of rice, 2 sides, and a dipping sauce. The sides consist of edamame, spicy cabbage salad, romaine salad, or macaroni salad. I tried the macaroni salad, edamame, and the spicy cabbage salad. I enjoyed the macaroni salad because it was light and wasn't overly creamy. I didn't care for the spicy cabbage it was a bit too pickled for my taste. The edamame was good but wish it was warm. I enjoyed my shrimp plate. The shrimps were plump and portion is generous. The chicken was a bit dry. The everything musubi was delicious! The Thai tea with boba was surprisingly good. I normally don't order boba drinks from restaurant but the boba was fresh and soft. Overall, service was good and I'd definitely come back.
