The food at Khufu is simply splendid and excellent. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients and authentic Egyptian flavors. Whether you’re indulging in traditional dishes or exploring more contemporary takes, the culinary standard is exceptional. The atmosphere is brilliant. Dining with a direct view of the majestic pyramids creates an unforgettable backdrop. The ambiance strikes a beautiful balance between elegant and relaxed, making it suitable for both romantic evenings and special gatherings. This was the only drawback of the experience. Unfortunately, the servers appeared to be poorly trained, frequently engaging in loud arguments, shouting, and even cursing at each other within earshot of guests. It was disruptive and left a negative impression during an otherwise perfect visit. Khufu Restaurant could easily rank among the top dining spots in Egypt if it weren’t for the service issues. Everything else—from the location to the food and ambiance—is exceptionally perfect. With improved staff training and better service etiquette, this restaurant would truly offer a five-star experience.

Booking online was seamless, and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and seated at a stunning table with a direct view of the Pyramids. The complimentary shuttle service from the gates to the restaurant was prompt, with virtually no wait time—just 0 to 5 minutes. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff graciously accommodated our request for extra seating when unexpected family members joined us. Their flexibility and attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. The food was both satisfying and authentic, beautifully infused with the chef’s signature twist that preserved the original flavors while adding a delicious, creative touch. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and unique. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Pyramids. The ambiance, service, and cuisine come together to create a memorable experience. We even purchased some of the distinctive plates from the charming kiosk outside as keepsakes.

This is a MOST 10/10 if you’re visiting the pyramids and want to add a culinary experience to your trip. The place, the atmosphere, the attention to detail and the FOOD, wow! I dare to same some of the best food I’ve even had. I definitely recommend and it’s so worth every penny. (And honestly price is super good and reasonable for what you’re being served and the quality of it). Cannot recommend enough. Just make sure you book and go early to the pyramids so you can enjoy after. Thank you to all the team and the manager that was extra nice to everyone.

We recently had lunch at Khufu’s, a beautiful new restaurant right next to the Pyramids — and it was a great experience. The setting is absolutely unique with stunning views of the pyramids, making it a perfect stop after sightseeing. The restaurant offers several set menus, and we tried both the Sharing Menu for Two and the Vegetarian Menu. The portions were generous, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-presented. It’s a nice mix of traditional Egyptian flavors with a refined touch. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. You do need to book in advance, as it’s quite popular — especially during peak hours. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience with a view you won’t forget.

From the moment I arrived at the pyramid site, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional experience and the organization for visitors was outstanding, ensuring seamless navigation to the pyramids and nearby restaurants. As for Khufu’s itself it was hands down, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Cairo. The food was absolutely phenomenal—kudos to the chef for crafting the most delicious dishes I’ve tasted since arriving in the city. Every bite was a masterpiece, bursting with incredible flavors. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who elevated the experience further. I can’t wait to return.

Khufu’s Restaurant offers one of the most breathtaking dining experiences in Giza. Located right on the Giza Plateau, the restaurant overlooks the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) directly—it’s hard to imagine a more iconic view. The design is elegant and modern, creating a beautiful contrast with the ancient wonder just steps away. The cuisine is best described as modern Arabic, with refined interpretations of traditional dishes. We had an excellent meal: the ingredients were fresh, the flavors well balanced, and everything was beautifully presented. It was perhaps a little busy and lively during our visit, but the overall quality and the setting made it a memorable experience. If you’re in Cairo, don’t miss the chance to dine here—it’s a perfect blend of culinary quality and ancient majesty.

The food is amazing, but the portions are quite small. The view is incredible; however, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get a front-row table where the view is the best. The prices are high, but considering the view and overall experience, it’s worth it. They also offer a delicious drink called the "Khufu," which is absolutely amazing
