London’s Best Cafes and Coffee Shops | Where to Drink Coffee in London | Eater London

"Southwestern imports Origin have staged something of a London takeover since opening a flagship store on Charlotte Road in 2014, opening in Southwark and at the British Library — a display of specialty’s mainstream breakthrough. The offering — all roasted in Cornwall and now selected by two-time U.K. coffee tasting champion Freda Yuan — is perhaps one of the most progressive in the city. ‘Session coffees’: high yield, steady harvests with approachable flavour profiles, are set against monthly features, often focussed on a specific process, varietal, or, inevitably, origin. The mural behind the bar demands close attention. (The author worked across Origin’s sites for 15 months to June 2017, but has no further association with the company.)" - James Hansen

Coffee shop with Friendly staff and single origin coffee along with all the usual barista made coffees. Has some cold drinks and pastries also. Socially aware/conscious as well - during the Cally Festival they had an interactive display on the history of Taiwanese bubble tea!

The owners of this establishment are lovely people providing snob level coffee while themselves being kind and generous. What an amazing gem of an establishment nestled in a little Ethiopian commercial block. Put Kibco on your list of must visit coffee spots in London

5/5 but really it should be 10/10!!! Amazing place! I love a snobby good coffee, and honestly was sceptical, but the coffee was amazing and staff went above and beyond! Will definitely be coming back and recommend you all do too!

The quality of this coffee is just outstanding. But best of all is the kindness of the staff, so welcoming that we're definitely coming back soon. We were served by the owner, and let me tell you, she couldn't be nicer, knows her stuff, so real coffee lovers will be pleased. The atmosphere is nice and cosy. I can't believe there is a place like this so close to King's Cross. Smoothies are a highlight too!

It's a small independent coffee shop that does its own roasting. Great quality coffee and a choice of bean, for me it's got to be the Ethiopian. Sit and chill, enjoy the friendly vibe, and maybe get a slice of cheesecake.

Awesome Coffee! Everything we had was delicious, the brownie, the sandwich, the cheesecake ... And you really notice that these guys are into coffee. They buy the coffee in the respective countries, roast it themselves, and that makes a huge difference. Hi for it, it's pure delight.

As an Aussie and a coffee snob, I've been desperate for a well made coffee and Kibco hits the damn spot. Every cafe has 'the best beans' but very few know how to manipulate the beans in such a way that doesn't compromise the taste but still appeases the customers order and credit is due to Kibco's barrister Mish who makes a damn good cup of coffee.

Not great tbh. Service was very slow, ordered two flat whites and it took almost 20 minutes for them to arrive and it wasn't particularly busy in there either. The coffee was okay although a little stale. At £4.10 for a flat white I expected a lot better.
