"Choosing which kombucha flavor to fill your take-home growler with is truly one of life's toughest decisions. Kickin’ Kombucha, a kombucha brewery and neighborhood in the East End, makes such a crossroads a bit easier by letting you sample each flavor before the big moment. Or you could just get three half-gallons every time and conserve some energy. And, while waiting for the delicious fermented juice, there are shelves upon shelves of goods to peruse and spend even more money on, like fancy tinned fish, organic toilet paper, and locally made dumplings or frozen bags of Cochinita & co. tamales. It's kind of like a Buc-ee's, but, you know, for kombucha freaks." - Chelsea Thomas

Came across them after a baker I follow tagged them. Definitely a must if you're looking for fresh ingredients. We had the chilaquiles with nopalitos and two bacon tacos. Great portion size and delicious flavor. My mom liked the chilaquiles so much I ordered two more portions to-go for my uncle and aunt. The coffee was strong and the chocolate chip cookies were so good. Doesn't have a ton of seating, but I'm sure they figure it out. Will come back to try their tamales and kombucha. Service was quick, so that was great as well.

Highly recommended! A friend who loves kombucha was adamant that I check it out. It was my first time to go and I’m so happy for the recommendation. Staff was polite and friendly. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. It was a great escape after a stressful day. My friend got their kombucha on tap and I ordered their espresso- both were delicious. I don’t usually like kombucha, but the samples tasted wonderful. Even though we came for the kombucha, we couldn’t resist getting a muffin and guacamole, which tasted equally good. We will definitely be coming back to sample the rest of their menu and buy some of their local products!

Good coffee, good selection of food. Menu is full of delicious Mexican dishes and they always have some great baked goods available as well. They've just increased their indoor seating as well just in time for summer.

The roasted vegetable tamales were delicious and fresh. The hot matcha latte was perfect. Customer service was excellent. If you want organic and fresh this is your place. Also a lot of vegan options.

Stopped here to try out their brunch on a Sunday afternoon. While their brunch menu has fewer options than their other menus, everything we tried (tres leches french toast and pork tamales) was delicious! The french toast was not too sweet and the pork tamales were extremely flavorful. Portions a bit on the smaller side for the price, but was enough to keep us satisfied for lunch. As far as the kombucha, we tried both the pineapple/guava and watermelon which they had on tap. Both were excellent. They also offer free samples of the kombucha if you are indecisive like I am. We will definitely be back to try out their full breakfast and lunch menus in the future!

Wonderful spot. Cute, clean, comfortable and with a friendly staff. Everything I’ve tried here has been excellent- from Cochinita’s authentic Mexican food to the great assortment of bevs (fresh kombucha on draught, wonderful coffee). They even have a small grocery/market selection with natural wines and local artisan made yummies. Fantastic vibe for this neighborhood gem.

Thankful for the vegan options! Wish there was a vegan egg and cheese sub too. Speaking of cheese. Love that they carry Rebel Cheese in the store. And Acaju yogurt. I was sad to not see the chamoy I got last time though. Burrito with vegan crema & chorizo.
