Went for food. Not too bad their burger was good. Place does get smoky the more they cook. So if it's busy and you want to stay smelling like you and not a grease fart. Go when not busy. Service was great and friendly. Local people everyone was nice. Just the smoke it was not great.

Place is great. Drinks are amazing. Great place to watch the games. Only thing me and my husband had an issue with was the amount of oil in the chicken tenders we ordered I will add the picture below and keep in mind the picture I put is oil from one chicken tender.

It took 40 mins for someone to take my order. Waitress went past me like 10 times. Food did come pretty fast. It was too loud for me but it's a sports bar so I guess I can't expect any different.

I didn’t try their food, I was there on a Friday night. I don't know if one of the female bartenders is new or just rude but she not only looked at me straight in the eye and ignored me and went to someone that just walked up. She tried to charge me $11 for a badly made, WELL vodka Moscow Mule at 9:20pm when WELL drinks are $3 between 9-10. She actually didn’t even bother asking me what vodka i wanted because I don’t drink well vodka. Later that night I ordered two Moscow mules with Titos, one bartender charged me $15.85 and then the other charged me $16. Prior to that their ATM “states” it charges $3.50 to take cash out. It charged me $6. However I did try the tacos outside, they were great and the atmosphere was fun. But I will be looking into why the atm is scamming people and If i ever go back. I wont get anything from the bar.

the food was good. the bartender and server were both really nice. atmosphere was good. i know food and drink at the airport is expensive, but i thought $20 for bacon and eggs was a bit excessive. imho anyway. still, thanks and appreciate to them for being there! they made my airport adventure much less stressful.

I wanted to go somewhere new and I live love mule. So many mule options and don't forget about happy hour. We kept the drinks flowing and the tasties food. There was a long wait for our second round of drinks and main course. There was a mishap of our order being put in but we got free dessert! I was happy there was a veggie party sub for the burgers. Did not like the ungodly amount of mayo on my burger. My friend really enjoyed his melt. The drinks were yummy. My favorite was the cherry one. The cheesecake was banging. I almost needed to be rolled out after being so full. The location is out there! But lots of seating inside and out. I'd go again if a friend would like to go.

Killer vibe here, walked in to grab a couple of beers, and it got packed shortly after we arrived. I'm so glad we had good seats at the bar. Staff are friendly and fast! Ended up staying a lot longer than expected due to they were showing the UFC fights for free! Had a really good time! All the food looked really good and super fresh.

Wow! Came into this restaurant and bar because we were getting out of the highway traffic. What luck!! This place is great! Great service and atmosphere. And amazing food and drinks. We will be back! Highly recommended!!

LOL.... Why is there a cover charge for a "bar", specifically a bar in West Sac? We didn't pay. Walked in to "use the ATM" and walked straight to the bar to pay for overpriced drinks! We paid about $25 for 2 drinks (1 w/ cazadores). Music was good but I will not be back. Btw, this was on a Friday night.

Maybe it's inflation or tariffs but I'm starting to have second thoughts on leaving the house. $10 cover, no biggie, I guess. I thought bars were free to enter! A canned hard cider was $10, (I was expecting $6-8 ) and this place automatically adds gratuity to all orders so I ended paying $11+. Okay rant over... The ambiance was decent sized bar that included a small patio option. It just so happened to be "R&B night " so the tunes were good and the crowd was cool. (But I guess this is why there was a cover charge to enter the bar and expensive drinks...I won't go there...) That said if you're looking for a bar in West Sac, here's an option.

This review is solely off of the service we received because it was pretty fucking shitty. The waitress said that my boyfriend and I could sit anywhere and she will be "right with us".... She was on her phone a lot, didn't give us menus, we had to grab a menu lying around our table to see what we wanted to order, the place was not busy, it was 9pm on a sunday. The service alone is what makes me not want to come back here.

Kinda liked the place until the last couple of times I visited in 2024 when fights broke out during 2 separate visits. The last straw was when someone busted out a knife during a "verbal" screaming match. Both times, staff seemed way too nonchalant about the situations. Nice venue otherwise, but No Thanks. Having a good time shouldn't include this type of BS.

First the service was nill. The steak sandwich was well well done and tuff. Bad service and bad food. Plate was plane and we left our food.

Came here for Hapoy Hour with my coworkers. The service was great. Our server let us split our checks, and there were 9 of us. Music selection was a good variety. Drinks were good! I had the Green Tea shooter: this was a bourbon based shooter, not too sweet which is what I like, 10/10. I had the Harbour Blvd: this was a bourbon based mule with peach and some other fruit flavor, 10/10. For bites, I had the loadwd fries. It was OK. I would definitely come back.

Got together with one of my oldest friends to watch the Bears game. The place was empty, several TV screens showing multiple sports channels. We took a seat at huge wrap around bar to place our order. I was craving chicken and waffles, my buddy had French toast. The food was surprising good. The waffles fluffy and the chicken tender. By the time we finished eating, the place was packed. The Bears won and the beer was cold. Here's to another round. I'll be back

Best pulled pork sandwich that I've had in a long time. You'll find beers that you'll like. The service is very good, and our server was accessible and helpful. The ambiance isn't my vibe, but we enjoyed ourselves and will return.

Such a chill spot! Great daily deals and happy hour. Super friendly service. Specialty mules are delicious! Great for sporting event because they have lots of TVs. Can't wait for the nice weather to be outside playing pool!

We had a coworker who was leaving us, so we took him here for lunch as a send-off. The Kick 'N Mule was a bit of hard to find. You drive inside the shopping center and they're located in the inside nearest West Capitol Avenue. And looking for a parking spot was a bit of a nightmare (especially during meal times). Good thing I had a handicapped pass which allowed me to park in the 15 minutes zones. The others in our group weren't that lucky. But the place was very nice and cozy for a sports bar. A bit dark, but the place was very clean. In the center was the bar and around it were dining tables (or cubicles that could probably fit 3 to 4 people - more if they were skinnier). The service was really good! We were greeted the moment we arrived and our drink orders were immediately taken. There was around twelve in our party, but that didn't hinder the speed of the service. The food was also great. Our boss ordered Deep Fried Oreos and everyone said it tasted really good - I had to abstain because of my doctor's orders to stay away from sweets. But my main order, a Mushroom Swiss Burger was really good! And the side of french fries was really commendable! Plus the price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. If you are in the area, you should give Kick 'N Mule a try...

I stopped if for a beer and to watch a game. I left because of one of the bartenders. I like Kick N Mule for its large, clean, open interior. The barstools are comfortable, there are spacious booths along the wall, and outdoor seating on the patio. It has a huge square bar in the middle of the room and plenty of big screen TVs. I ordered a flatbread chicken pizza which was much better than I expected. The crust nicely cooked, it had a great flavor, and plenty of toppings. Unfortunately my bartender was a bit of a pest. I only watched a quarter of my football game but she stopped by to check on me 9-10 times. When I didn't want another beer, she coming by to ask if I wanted water. After I ate 1/2 of my pizza, she asked if I wanted a box, and then my check. I was going to stay, but I got the impression she was trying to rush me out the door. It was strange because the place was about 1/3rd full with maybe 4 other people at the bar. I didn't want to deal with my stalk-tender anymore, so I cashed out and left to watch the game somewhere else. I like good service, but that bartender was just annoying.

Fried green beans... yummy. The lettuce wraps were amazing, like so good. I do think the menu was a typical sports bar food. I saw calamari on the online menu and that is why we went but they didn't have it when we got there. Bummer. I will say the bartender was the highlight. She was so upbeat and just very nice.

I went looking for something good in sac since I stay in Davis for school. Safe to say I found it in this little gem!!! TLDR: GREAT FOOD, SERVICE, AND DRINKS! Food: we ordered the Alfredo fettuccini with chicken and the bacon bacon burger with sweet potato fries. The pasta was so flavorful and the cheesy garlic bread it was served with was a nice complement however, the chicken was a bit dry which is typical of chicken breast I'd give it a solid 8/10. The burger and fries were good, standard but not disappointing in any way, 7/10 pretty good. Drinks: green tea shooter, starburst shooter, and margaritas. I've been dying to try a green tea shot and now I know why they're so dangerous. I'm a weenie when it comes to tasting alcohol so if it tastes too much like alcohol I'll drink it but I won't enjoy it. The green tea shooters were a good choice. They were definitely more alcohol tasting than the margarita though, to be expected because they are shooters. The starburst shots lived up to their name and tasted like candy, more watermelon flavor than anything else, very easy to drink. All were 10/10 very good. Service: fast and friendly. 7/10 only because I think our server forgot about us a little when we asked for boxes but that's okay because she was so nice and everything else we asked for came to us within 5 minutes. On Saturday they have live music and we were lucky enough to catch the performance! Very funky and good for this sporty fun bar vibe. More of a bar on the inside but they do offer outdoor seating.

The DJ Mel has the best music to move your body to it. The food was great. In fact we are going back tonight to celebrate my birthday.

Food was decent (nachos were delicious) but the service wasn't great. My salad came after my entree and refills on drinks were very slow. I'd eat here again but maybe sit at the bar

I called at 9:40pm to place a Togo order and the person who answered the phone told me the kitchen closed at 9:15pm on a Friday night but online says the kitchen closes at 10:30pm. I also tried ordering before at the same time and nobody answered the phone. I have had the buffalo chicken wrap I tried a couple different times but I run into the same issue. It seems like they care more about the bar crowd than someone trying to eat after work. I hope they can fix this issue

I came here with two friends to watch the Warriors Vs Kings game and have food and drinks. This was an excellent place to go to watch sporting events because they have a lot of TVs. All the food was delicious and they had a wide variety of drinks on their menu. Definitely worth a visit!

Fun little neighborhood bar and restaurant. I've been here several times. The food and drinks are always good. It's a great place to be when games are on! The only negative thing I would have to say is when I go there alone, I am practically ignored. The waitresses/female bartenders seem to cater to men. When I go in with my husband, we have excellent service. This has happened more than once.

New spot for throwback RnB on Fridays. Dj and choice of music was great. However with that comes the crowd. My 2nd Friday attending and not enough bar staff for the crowd. If you are going to promote the crowd to attend, make sure you have enough bartenders. The wait time for a drink was absolutely ridiculous! I had out of town guest to patronize. However upon arrival was advised capacity had been reached for the night I guess....I am not expert, but based on my observation, people were leaving. Overall, once the "kinks" are ironed out, will be a good spot as long as the "rift raft" is kept out.

First time trying this place. It's in West Sacramento in a strip mall. We weren't impressed when we pulled in. We saw a lady crawling out of a garbage can and a few other homeless people. But they are all over now so we went ahead and parked and went in. I ordered a mushroom burger And fries and my husband ordered chicken wings and a bowl of chili. My hamburger came out looking scrumptious and after the first bite, I thought it tasted a little strange and might need some salt. My husband said your hamburger taste funny and I said yes, I had given him half of mine. we decided that the meat must be a little spoiled we let our server know. Anna our server was really nice & attentive. She immediately and said she take it off her bill and asked me if I'd like something else. So I said I try this steak sandwich. It was OK, had a lot of dried onions on it and not much else. My husband said the chicken wings were delicious And the chili was really good. The place is a pub type restaurant with a full bar, pool table, etc. Decorated nicely.

Visited this past Friday with my Boo who just got off work in West Sac. He is a truck driver and had a rough week, so we wanted to have a few drinks, some food and enjoy the Warriors game. Food 2 - Bacon cheese burger, fries, and 10 piece wings . Unfortunately, the food was severely lacking. Burger tasted like very low quality meat was used. I even questioned in my mind if it was possibly expired meat? My boyfriend is a major Burger guy and is pretty open-minded He will eat a fast food burger to a high-end burger, and even he was highly disappointed. The wings tasted like frozen pre battered wings - flash fried tossed in sauce. I had the water melon mule & the tropical mule. OK- a little heavy on the ginger beer and flavored syrup instead of fresh ingredients. Finished up with a diet Pepsi & rum . The boyfriend had a few beers. Service - 5 We were greeted right away by a friendly young man . He checked in on us regularly and brought our food & drinks quickly. All the employees seemed friendly and enjoyed helping the patrons . Ambience- 4 Casual bar, lots of seating, many TVs playing a variety of NBA and college men's & women's basketball. A live band started playing who were amazing. New Orleans style jazz 5 piece with band with a tuba player ! They had the bar / restaurant jamming . I wish I would have gotten the name of the band. Overall, I would probably not return due to the food experiences. But a fun neighborhood bar with a friendly, welcoming environment.

My friends wanted to celebrate my bday and knew I'm a huge fan of Moscow mules. This place is a definite must check out if you fancy Moscow mules. As of currently I've tried the Darryl Strawberry Mule, Cherry Island Mule and Pina Cool-Ada Mule. With my favorite of the three so far being the strawberry mule. Love the many options and could see myself coming back to try more. For food they have burgers and sort of classic bar food. I wound up getting the bacon bacon cheeseburger but it was so undercooked and greasy, that I just wound up taking it to go and discarded it when I got home. The staff felt bad and comped the burger for my birthday. I think I would give the food a second chance but just try something different. Another cool thing about this place is they have trivia night with a dj, but heads up the lights strobe with the music so if you're prone to seizures you might want to avoid those nights.

First, Maria was A M A Z I NG! We ordered the the happy hour margaritas, loaded tots, and Cajun pasta. Maria was on point with taking our order. Margaritas are deliciously dangerous and our food was made with love. The staff was super friendly and the other patrons were just as nice. We ended up making friends with everyone in our area and matched a few shots. This is definitely a spot we will frequent for the food, drinks, music, and overall vibes. Most of the staff suggested we get the lettuce wraps and jambalaya next time. Apparently, those are the best things on the menu - we shall see :)

Lively sports bar with a lot of seating and large TVs all around you. Brightly lit and open space seating. As the name indicates, they specialize in a mules and have a lot of different varieties. I had the Mango madness mule which was delightful. Also the had Garlic Butter Shrimp. Imagine bruschetta but with shrimp on top! It was very savory and tasty. Service was fast, attentive and friendly.

Love this place, I moved here last year and looking for my new home bar. Tried a couple of others before I found this place, and needless to say this I found my new home bar! Everything here is fabulous and the staff is so friendly and welcoming.if you stop by try the West Sac Melon cocktail it's absolutely fantastic. Just what I need when I get off work The bartender Lawrence goes above and beyond simply amazing!

The reviews were spot on! We visited to catch a game and had a great time. There's plenty of TVs and open seating, so it's easy to find a good spot. The food was delicious--I loved the pork sliders, and my friend had the chicken wings. We also enjoyed a side of fries. The drinks were great! Our waiter was sweet and attentive, making our experience even better.

My husband said it's the best burger he's ever had. Great service and clean. Not crowded. Decent beer selection.

We came to meet up with some friends, we had dinner elsewhere and were just stopping by to have a few drinks. I will say the food our friends had did look yummy but can't offer much on that. I will say service was deathly slow. It was a Thursday night (9:30 pm) so by no means crowded at all and our server was really nice but it was taking 15+ minutes to get a drink. We'd watch the bartender make the drinks, set them on the counter for pickup from the waitress and she'd act oblivious to them. We eventually just started ordering directly from the bar. I do give the waitress props for cutting off someone in our party, he was getting a little tipsy and she said she couldn't serve him anymore, which we were all grateful for. They closed at midnight on that night but by 10:30 they turned the lights up and cut the jukebox which was a mood killer.

Was in town and tried this spot out! Everything started out very well... We were a very large party - so I know sometimes that becomes difficult. I felt like we weren't too demanding or anything out of the ordinary. We had the Asada Tots, extremely good! I also loved their lemon pepper wings. My husband had the fish and really enjoyed it but for the price he was disappointed there was only 1 piece of fish. He would have ordered another piece of fish to be filled up. Our waitress, If I recall correctly her name was Audrey/Autumn? She was sweet. But forgot about us and the kitchen didn't get all of our orders - there was definitely some mixups. So my suggestion if coming here be ready to order and place everything all at one time. Drinks/Apps/Meals

Kick N Mule and Kitchen is our go to place at least every month or every other month to meet up with coworkers and friends. The service is great and the staff is very engaging. You don't want to miss the live bands on Friday around 6 pm. The menu has many food and drink options.

My last Sacramento stop took me to the Kick N Mule with college friend who had suggested the place. If you are looking for burgers, beers, and other bar fare this place was pretty solid! It was a seat yourself type situation, so we grabbed a 4-top and started off with a couple beers. We ordered the 16oz and the waitress upgraded us to the 23oz just because which was super nice! Her reasoning, 'it's Friday, why not.' No complaints from us lol I decided to go with the blackened chicken sandwich with a side of fries. The chicken was a little overdone but the bacon was crispy and it was served on toasted sliced sourdough. The fries were standard, yet tasted delicious dipped in ranch and 1000 island. For $13.50, it was a pretty hefty meal and I left full. This is a great spot to catch up with friends with reasonably priced food and drinks. It's the best kinda of food to eat while watching a game or just having casual drinks. Happy Hour Mon-Fri from 3-6, reverse HH mon-Thursday from 10pm-12am, and a Sunday all day. $5 mozz sticks and shots of Jameson, can't beat that! The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. However, my friend mentioned that it gets popular for the after work crowd, so best to come early as parking gets tight as the night goes on.

This is a cool spot and has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Our waitress had a great smile and was very attentive. The food was good. The birria taco was my favorite. The chicken and El Pastor tacos were flavorful but tiny. The chicken sandwich was good but spicier than I expected. Only negative to the visit...The bathroom was grungy and broken.

Stopped by to have an early dinner with my husband. Hot wings buffalo, bomb! What's with the mozzarella sticks?! Are they homemade?! Never seen mozzarella sticks like these they were ginormous and so good! Also had the jambalaya recommended by our waitress, also bomb! Wish I would've taken pictures, but we were so paranoid about our car being towed for being parked in front of the liquor store across the way we ate and left in a hurry. P.s. no signs were posted in front of the liquor store when we parked and after we parked our cars they put signs out. So lame! Oh, and our waitress was fantastic!

If you're looking for a place to watch the game, this is your spot. If you're looking for some great bar food, this is your spot. If you're looking for a place to be a regular where they all know your name, this is your spot. Been here a few times and the food and service have always been solid. The prices for what you get are some of the best in the city. The jambalaya which was new on the menu since we were there last was perfectly seasoned and more than we could eat. Their burgers are great and there were lots of them flying out of the kitchen. Stop on in for some good food and friendly service that won't break the bank.

Stumbled upon here after a soccer game in Davis. I had to take my hubby to the Sacramento airport and we needed a place to eat and thus came up so we tried it. We were so pleasantly surprised with how good the food is!! I had the shrimp tacos and did not have high hopes, but honestly they were soooo good. And the Mexican rice? Some of the best I have EVER had. Perfectly seasoned and so fluffy! Hubby had the bacon bacon burger and carne asada tots. He said they were both excellent! They had both the Niner and Raider game on and were busy with fans watching the game but still the service was excellent. Fun place. Very cute and clean bathrooms.

I enjoy this place! I'm happy they revamped the menu for more focused options than the multitudes of okay-ish dishes/drinks...but $12 for 4 mozzarella sticks?

I've been here several times with my wife and twice with my buddy. This place never disappoints. The last time I visited, I ordered the fish & chips. It was the best fish & chips I've ever had! The Atlantic cod literally melts in your mouth. I'm not a big fish lover, but if it is served like that, I'll have it more often! Their tartar sauce is excellent, and their seasoned fries make you want more and more! Their iced tea is also excellent. The bad: too noisy. I understand that this is sports bar, and people tend to yell and cheer for their teams, but come on, people! Others are trying to chat and eat! I wish they had a room in the back where you could have a quiet meal if you weren't interested in sports. :) Other than that, I can't think of a single bad thing. And if you want something decadent, try their raspberry cheesecake chimichanga!

What a fantastic selection of appetizers to choose from!! Lots of vegetarian choices is always a plus! My coworkers and I ordered to share the following: AMAZING: -Fried green beans -Mac and cheese balls -Potato egg rolls OKAY: -Loaded nachos (guac was okay) -loaded tater tots MEH: -mozzarella cheese sticks (cheese not fully melted) -onion rings (burnt, but edible) I will definitely be back here, hopefully to dine in. Patio area is super cute!

The food was super tasty!! The ambiance is comfortable and fun with an open floor format and central bar with wrap around seating. There is ample seating available in both booths and high-top tables. For entertainment there are numerous screens located throughout the venue with a variety of live sports being displayed and even a stage for live music too! Nice local spot.

I was quite disappointed that this establishment is open for dine in during the pandemic. Staff were wearing face coverings, which I appreciate. I decided to visit to try their Thursday special, Tacos de birria. This was my first time trying this type of taco; therefore, I did not have a comparison. The taco and the dipping sauce was flavorful. The taco shell was still surprisingly crispy and crunchy when I returned home. I did not care for the Spanish rice. It lacked flavor. I am reluctant to return as I strongly feel that restaurants should not open for dine in during the pandemic. This is essential to eradicate/slow transmission of the virus.

A/A+ - Mac and cheese balls were delicious! Not too greasy and very moist on the inside. Fried green beans were delicious and came with an amazing solo sauce. Thai lettuce wraps were so good! Thick cuts of juicy chicken combined with perfectly ripe mangoes. The peanut sauce was perfect Wings weren't dry which is a huge win. Thai chili was my favorite. Mango habanero was spicy af, and I have a decent spice tolerance. Good flavor tho. My least favorite was the buffalo bbq B/B+ - chicken sliders were pretty good. Just wish there was a bit more sauce on them because they were a tad dry Overall, really excited about this place and all the specials they have going on every day. More like a restaurant than a bar. Great job Kick'n Mule!

Awesome customer service, delicious food, and great vibes. The extensive menu ensures everyone in your party will like something. I've been here a few times already and it's always great.
