"There is a luxurious feel to this smartly renovated pub, where the cooking mixes the modern with the traditional. Among the well-executed dishes on the menu are some contemporary choices alongside recognisable classics like rib-eye steak, fish & chips and chicken liver parfait. Come at lunchtime to enjoy their classically served haggis, neaps and tatties, which is a real treat. Four bedrooms, cosy sitting rooms and an immaculate terrace complete the very pretty picture." - Michelin Inspector

Cosy Restaurants

"Reminiscent of a Scottish hunting lodge, Kildrummy Inn is bedecked with tartan, Chesterfield chairs and an ever-aglow open fire. Alongside an impressive whisky collection, menus draw on Scotland’s bountiful larder, with a roll call of treasured local suppliers filling the menu. Enjoy views out onto the unspoilt Aberdeenshire countryside or cosy up by the fire with a single malt." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

Exceptional in every way! Staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The meals were out of this world delicious which we'll be talking and dreaming about for a long while. The Inn provided a warm cozy atmosphere to relax, have a whiskey, listen to local music and was well decorated and lit. With only four rooms, it made our stay feel more intimate and personal, it felt a privilege to visit this place. I'm glad to see they're expanding a bit - though not too much - the world needs more of these places as opposed to large chains/companies. Kildrummy set the standard by which I'll measure any future inn or hotel stay.

Stumbled across this place entirely by accident when looking for an early dinner - turned out to be the best meal we’ve had in Scotland by far, with simply fantastic service. All the dishes were delicious and locally sourced, and the owner David went the extra mile in introducing the whiskies on offer with real passion. Sad we couldn’t stay longer, already planning our next trip, when will definitely stay.

Thank you to the team for our loving evening meal tonight, the service and food was flawless and would be back in a heart beat. Beautiful Inn! Highly recommend a evening meal here, very accommodating for our large group and even added a special treat to celebrate our engagement!

Fine restaurant, great atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Love the decor, even that of the ladies room! There is seating outside as well. For special occasions, the private dining room is excellent. We did not stay at the hotel but I have no doubt the bedrooms will be superb. (Please note I only give 5 ⭐️ reviews to places that allow dogs inside.)

Had a great one night stay here with my husband. The place is beautiful, and the inn itself is a lovely place to be. A good mix of places to lounge and enjoy a drink inside and out. The food was delicious and the staff could not have been more helpful. Perfect balance of high quality, but with a relaxed feel, made you feel very welcome. Would definitely go back, I bet it would be a very cosy place to stay in the winter.

Just love it here! We have had several meals over the years and they have all been wonderful! The food, the service, the ambience, the decor, and the location is entirely fabulous! Our favourite place to go for a delicious meal in equally delicious surroundings! Until next time ….

Fantastic food and great service in a beautiful setting. Will definitely return. We didn't stay at the Inn but it would be a great gateway and bolthole for walkers.

Yelp
This place is such a gem - the food and the hospitality far exceeded our expectations. My daughter said it was one of the best meals she'd ever eaten, and I feel the same. We had starters of a chicken liver terrine and also an amazing arancini ball, followed with a main of local lamb (I believe that all of the ingredients were local). They treated us to a small cup of the smoothest creamy broccoli/asparagus. All so delicious. If you are in this part of Scotland, make sure to go there - I know we will

Yelp
Small, but friendly eatery - more of a restauant than a pub. Food is fresh, mainly local produce and of an excellent quality. The prices reflect the quality, but the quantity of food is also WOW!!! Well worth a visit.
