Kildrummy Inn

My partner and I had the chance to stay at this lovely location between Christmas and New Year, and the Kildrummy Inn exceeded all our expectations. David and Sophie made our experience truly unforgettable—always kind, attentive, and ready with helpful advice. The interiors are beautifully decorated, blending tasteful design with Highland charm and cosiness. The inn is a perfect example of countryside elegance. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a bed that gave us one of the best nights’ sleep we’ve had in a long time. The food and drinks were excellent—made with high-quality ingredients and served promptly with great organisation. We particularly appreciated being offered drinks while waiting for our table, a thoughtful touch that reflected their strong commitment to exceptional customer service. We would absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway in the Highlands. Amazing food, wonderful accommodation, and outstanding hospitality. Thank you again!

I'm a very busy wedding photographer and deal with lots of different venues, all different shapes and sizes. But Kildrummy Inn was just different. In the best way ever. Being a supplier you're used to not being treated as a guest as such. But these guys were amazing. I don't think I had even stepped foot in the building and they were offering me teas or coffees. Nothing was a bother for them. In fact they made my day so much more pleasurable. And that's not even starting on anything else. The food was absolutely outstanding. The decor was amazing. It was just a delight to be in such a lovely venue and in the company of everyone who worked there. I can't wait to come back as a guest. Also thanks for the EV charge too!

This is such an absolute gem of a place. The welcome we received on arrival was lovely and we were shown to The Willows room which was extremely well appointed. It has a beautiful feature shower and lovely views out of the windows. The whisky room is a must for pre-dinner drinks with subtle lighting and a flying pig!! The food is extremely good. Tasty, beautifully presented and great choices. Breakfast was just as good as dinner. I hope we'll return soon and I would absolutely recommend a stay here as a couple or with friends as we did.

Love this place. Since our last stay they've been through a major refurbishment. The rooms have been upgraded. But the first-class customer service that we remembered is still at the heart of the business. Nothing seems too much trouble for the team here. We weren't certain which red wine we wanted with our dinner. As the three we liked the look of were also available by the glass, they invited us to taste all three before we chose our bottle. If you're not sure what whisky you want for a nightcap, ask David the manager, who knows his malts inside out. Do try the Fisherman's Porridge for breakfast- made with heather honey & a wee dram of malt whisky. And they did us a good packed lunch for the day's walking. All in all, if you want a touch of luxury amid glorious scenery and tranquil surroundings, book in here.

Several friends and I went for dinner here on our first full night in Scotland and we were quite impressed. The level of service is outstanding and the food is delicious as are the drinks and wine selection. The manager of the place kind of took us under his wing and told us the expansion plans for the future. It was also a Sunday night and we had taken an Uber there but had not arranged for a return ride home. He called one of his neighbors who operates a taxi to drive is back to our hotel by the airport. The driver was great too. All in all an outstanding evening. I would highly recommend a dinner there and would make a special trip to experience it. I would return if I'm back in the area.

A place for a special occasion, very expensive but quality does cost! Slightly annoying server felt the need to overshare his life story. Didn't fully explain menu. Beautifully decorated, small helpings as had to ask for more bread. Outside sitting area on offer. Toilets well maintained. Didn't stay so can only comment on restaurant. Parking available for free. Bonny Road there and views.

The food, decor and ambience in the Inn were exceptional. The restaurant is a great example of modern Scottish hospitality. Traditional but far from dusty and tired. Above the great food, location and atmosphere, was the service though. We came with 2 babies and the staff could not have been more attentive and welcoming! Couldn't speak highly enough of this place

Delicious dinner in stunning surroundings. Service with a smile. I was particularly impressed with the care taken with a really nice vegetarian option on the menu - not a macaroni cheese in sight! Extra wee dishes of nibbles and a tiny cup with broccoli and brie soup, courtesy of the inn, were a nice touch. I can highly recommend this beautiful inn and we’ll be back!

This place is such a gem - the food and the hospitality far exceeded our expectations. My daughter said it was one of the best meals she'd ever eaten, and I feel the same. We had starters of a chicken liver terrine and also an amazing arancini ball, followed with a main of local lamb (I believe that all of the ingredients were local). They treated us to a small cup of the smoothest creamy broccoli/asparagus. All so delicious. If you are in this part of Scotland, make sure to go there - I know we will

Small, but friendly eatery - more of a restauant than a pub. Food is fresh, mainly local produce and of an excellent quality. The prices reflect the quality, but the quantity of food is also WOW!!! Well worth a visit.
