I had lunch at KillerWail Barbecue in Tulsa, Oklahoma today while in town for a car show. I ordered a couple of my favorites as well as sides to help beat the heat from a hot outdoor event. Brisket: I ordered half moist and half lean. Both had great flavor, perfectly rendered fat and delicious bark. Beef sausage: smooth grind with great flavor and a crisp casing, this was perfect. Potato salad: diced potatoes cooked well enough to be fork tender, crisp pickles in a creamy mustard base. Smoked curry baked beans: I have had bbq pinto beans and I have had curry, these two together made the best BBQ beans I have tried from a food truck or restaurant. I will definitely add this to the list of things to make at home! The meat and beans were hot and the potato salad was cold, this made for a great meal. I will definitely return when I am in the area! #killerwailbbq #tulsaoklahoma #tulsabbq #smokedbrisket #smokedsausage #smokedmeat #oklahomabbq

Bbq truck parked outside it heirloom ale. Excellent and most tendah brisket. Wished they did plates but you can order 1/2lbs a la carte and come up with your own plate. The Check dark lager pairs really well with the brisket

Brisket was absolutely delicious. Juice and tender. Beans had curry, which was good. I may prefer traditional flavors there. Potato salad was a good portion & okay. Great atmosphere in parking lot of Heirloom Ales, tight parking but doable. Close to Circle Cinema area. Again, brisket wonderful and the others meats look worth going back to try.

We traveled to tulsa from houston for this weekend and we decided look for the best bbq spots in town. we tried two different spots. The brisket here at killerwail was top notch. Very moist and flavorful. If you're e brisket lover like myself, you definitely have to give this place a try.

Whew. Actually figuring out where and when this place is open is a bit of work, and their website needs some help, but the BBQ is amazing. This is the most authentic Texas style brisket in Tulsa, and the chicken was fantastic as well. They do have a few unique takes on their sides and sauces, and I especially enjoyed their white sauce. This place is definitely worth tracking down, but you'll probably need to catch them early before they sell out of brisket.

We didn’t know this food truck was at Heirloom. Killer is right. Maybe the best we’ve ever had. We talked to the owner and told him we were fans of BBQ in Austin. Turns out he is from Austin and knows all the folks at our favorite BBQ haunts. A really nice guy! Seriously. You have to try it.
