First time trying true Korean food and I must say…AMAZING! I was absolutely in love with the flavors and how fresh the food tasted. I definitely recommend the wings and the Galbi with the Bibimbap! I really enjoyed every bite and the Lychee juice was also spot on! The service was good and explained the meals and the proper Korean way to eat the dishes which was interesting. I will definitely be coming back

Google
Surprisingly good Korean shop in Kendall. The food felt authentic and was delicious, the service was really warm and focused on the small but meaningul details (sleeping baby) and the atmosphere was like that of a mom&pop place. The owner even welcomed us from the beginning without presenting herself and was just friendly and helpful. Will def come back!

I’ve been coming here for a whole year since I live close and let me tell you after the first time I was addicted! The service is amazing!!! They’re so attentive, everything is clean, the style of the restaurant is so chic and they have DELICIOUS Korean food! After our meal they gave us a complimentary coffee; a perfect way to end a big meal! Love this place and I’ll keep telling everyone I know about it. They’ve upgraded the look of their restaurant and their menu has more options than before! Please keep supporting this amazing small business!!! In the pictures I got the lunch deal with steak :)

*Delayed post from June ‘25 Stopped in for lunch with a group of four and had a great experience! The interior is decorated with many cute items, including neon lights, brightly colored flowers and TVs playing K-pop. Our food arrived quickly and our server was attentive, refilling our waters and waiting on us consistently. Food-wise, everything was well seasoned and cooked with lots of vegetables on the menu. I ordered a classic bibimbop and was satisfied, though I enjoyed the Combo Rolls someone else ordered a lot too because it offers variety and convenience. Fair warning for those who like to order spicy, order knowing their level of spice is much higher than what you may be accustomed to. Their Ramyum is delicious, but damn the higher spice level may prevent you from enjoying it if you burn out your taste buds. Best to add chili on the side as you need instead of ordering it spicy.

Google
My friends and I LOVE this place. 2 of us in our group have a lot on allergies/food sesativities & the food here never hurts our tummies. Even when I get full, it's never a heavy feeling- the ingredients & way they cook them all feel & taste so good. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. I hit up the tteokbokki almost every time, but the star is the new Surasang menu. Beautiful, intimate, & delicious!!

Yelp
We had such a great experience at Kimbop in Kendall! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. We ordered the Kimbop Premium Couple Platter and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, beautifully presented, and satisfying. One standout was the Korean Ramyun with Mandu--a must-try! The ramen bowl was perfectly balanced with rich broth, chewy noodles, and flavorful dumplings that tied it all together. You can really tell they care about quality and taste. The pricing is very fair considering the portion sizes and overall experience. The ambience is casual and fun, with upbeat K-pop music playing--my kids were obsessed and now won't stop talking about it! A special little touch that made our visit even sweeter: the complimentary coffee. Totally unexpected and really appreciated. Kimbop has definitely earned a spot on our favorites list. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Wow!!! This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Kendall. I've been dying to try Bibimbap and went on a search for it on here, and with this being one of the top rated places for authentic Korean food, I had to come and try it for myself. I absolutely loved the ambiance, it's like you open the door and step foot in Korea. They have super cute neon signs, but the best part is that there's art pieces all throughout the restaurant of the owner's brother's art! Stepping in here felt so cozy and nice, it's just a feeling of eating at home, with family. We ordered the Korean Mandu to start with, these are crispy dumplings with mixed filling and they were extremely tasty! For the main course we did the Bibimbap and Galbi meal and this could not have been more perfect. The key here is to MIX EVERYTHING! Trust me. This is a must order item and absolutely delicious. The meat is mouthwatering, the flavors are just right, it was everything I expected it to be. We got here a little late so didnt get to order dessert, but they gave us their complimentary Korean coffee with cream, and it reminded me of if a cafe con leche and a hot chocolate had a baby! Try it and you'll see what I mean. Lastly, the service was amazing, Chef Uri ensured we enjoyed our meal and checked on us a couple of times. You can't get this level of service anywhere in Miami. I will definitely be back, but with more people, and with an emptier stomach lol.

Yelp
Kimbop is a hidden gem in Kendall. It is located behind CVS. It is a small place but food is always delicious. The staff are kind and courteous. I highly recommend Kimbop if you like Korean food .

Yelp
My family and I have been here twice and the service and food has been on point. We liked it so much the 1st time we came back and brought my in laws who LOVED it too! Even our 8 year old likes it, and he's picky. We had the ramen noodles (I got them mild because I don't like spicy, this level was still kind of on the high end of spicy for me but it was well worth it), and some steak and rice that is so delicious! I can't wait to go back! They even served us some Korean on the house coffee which was to die for!

Yelp
This weekend we decided to try KIMBOP. I have never had Korean food but it was on my list of places to try . This restaurant is located in kendall . It is a family owned restaurant. Which I love , why because they deliver wonderful service . As you enter you are greeted right away . Inside sits about 20 people and they also have outside seating . We were seated right away , there wasn't really a wait and we were hungry so that was great . Right away they explained the menu to us and answered any questions we may have had . You can order with a server or they have individual tablets at each table with you can order your meal yourself. The service was really amazing and I appreciated the professionalism and kindness everyone showed us. While waiting for the food we received this almost noddled appetizer which was so good and it cleans your palate . I ordered kimchi and mild chicken which came with assorted sides . Now the kimchi for some people maybe spicy but for me it wasn't so fair warning. All in all the food was great , the atmosphere is very inviting and the service was truly amazing . I will be back to try more delicious items on the menu .

Yelp
ALMOST a 5... almost. Small location in a shopping plaza, but a great food experience. You order at your table on a tablet. We did a Udon-Bokki Combo with the wings and Kimbop ( Spam, Chicken and Steak) and it was all delicious, a little spicy so fair warning if your are sensitive to spice. We also did the Bulgogi and rice all to share .

Yelp
I love this place! I had a tummy ache and asked my fiancé to take me to get some cucumber salad and kimchi. When I told the lady taking our to go order I wasn't feeling well she told me plain rice would help my stomach too and put a small container with our cucumber salad. I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are polite and helpful and the food is delicious every time! I recommend the ribeye bulgogi, the pork cutlet and the cucumber salad obviously. lol

Yelp
Ate here for the first time two nights ago and it certainly won't be the last. I was craving some Korean food but not hungry enough for one of the all you can eat Korean barbecues. I was nostalgically missing a wonderful Korean restaurant that I frequented in Connecticut. As always, I look to yelp and saw this highly reviewed restaurant said this is where I'm going to try tonight. So happy I did. I ordered the revival bulgogi meal which I have to say was just wonderful. the meat was cooked nicely and the sauce was outrageously good. I wasn't in the mood tonight for short rib, but it looked delicious and will be my next meal there. My wife went with the KimBop rolls an absolutely loved all three. The only thing I was disappointed was the banchan. This is probably my favorite part of a Korean meal and the ones on my plate or relatively uninspired. Pickled cabbage, bean, sprouts, cucumbers, and japchae, the latter lacking any vegetables. I love a table full of banchan and jjigae! Overall, I still need to give five stars because the food was so outrageously good and the service was excellent. The appropriate music videos really created a nice ambience. I will be back.

Yelp
Want a little K-pop in your life? This place will make you feel the music as you eat delicious Korean dishes. Fun place for a first date or with a group of friends.

Yelp
Looking for authentic Korean food in Kendall that feels like it's made by a Korean Halmoni (grandmother)? Look no further! This is *the* spot for fresh, genuine Korean dishes, where the service is always top-notch and the ambiance is charming. With K-pop music and performances playing on the TVs, it's the perfect way to immerse yourself in Korean culture while you dine. My top recommendation? The spicy pork Gimbap - it's like sushi, but cooked, with incredible flavor that packs a punch. I've been coming here for years and I'm so grateful it's just around the corner!

Yelp
Kimbop in Kendall was sooo good! The food was super fresh and flavorful, and the vibe was really chill. Everyone was so nice too. Definitely a hidden gem!!! I'm already craving it again!

Yelp
Came here with a couple of my friends. We ordered the popcorn chicken, meat lovers combo, and the udon noodles. Everything was on point, noodles were okay lacked taste and super spicy. We were seated right away, service took a little bit but our waiter was very kind. Cute spot, nice environment, a bit pricey. They also give free coffee at the end of your meal.

Yelp
Perhaps I am a "one off" review but nevertheless this is my input; The location is prime, the heart of Kendal and in a spot where other very successful food spots have been in the past past (RIP Off the grill Kendall). I've had many versions of Korean BBQ and this place is definitely not at the top of my list. The ingredients seem fresh but lack the seasoning or flavor I would expect from Korean BBQ on some of their foods, resulting in a bland flavor profile on SOME of their dishes. Perhaps I've grown accustomed to flavor bomb versions of the regular or spicy bulgogi served in other places, but this spot did not meet my expectations, resulting in the heavy use of sauces to compensate in the lack of flavor. The wings however were excellent in texture in flavor as the sauce was oozed over it, but even then, they had the taste of "old" chicken, which can be described as a flavor of "wet dog" if you bit into the bone or cartilage; something I find very offensive in flavor. The veggies were crisp and fresh but at the end of the day everything else was just "mid". Lastly, to top off the food experience, the hostess was anything but welcoming. We were reluctantly greeted as we picked up our takeout order which felt off but passable; it just felt bad when we had to go back into the store to ask for napkins and utensils because they forgot to provide our takeout order with some. The tone on our return was of distrust and annoyance which kind of also set a vibe to our food experience overall as well. I'll stick to my usual go-to Korean spot "ROK Restaurant " in lauderhill,Fl as the food is twice as superior, half the cost, and a lovely example of customer service at its finest.

Yelp
Another visit to this amazing restaurant! I apologize because I tried (again) to take a photo before I begin eating, but I can't help myself and start eating! Today I had Japchae and Mandu, then an order of the Ramyun with bulgogi. The taste is always on point and it has that mom and pops atmosphere that it makes you feel like you are eating with family!
google avatar

Kayla V.

Yelp
What a hidden gem. Definitely will be returning! Everything was delicious. We ordered through the look on the table and the food came pretty quickly so the service is good in that regard. Definitely enjoyed the Korean music and videos playing while we enjoyed our food. We overall really enjoyed finding this restaurant.

Yelp
Great addition to the Kendall food scene, the food was outstanding, the service more so!! The complimentary coffee was an amazing touch, do not miss it! Definitely coming back :)

Yelp
First time coming here. This is a good place to eat. Let's start with the Ambience which is very neat and elegant. The service was excellent and professional. The food was great and as a try out, I had an appetizer and a Udon soup. Both dishes presented a good display and the temperature was just perfect. The menu seems very traditional and priced accordingly. The only thing I would recommend is that they add unsweetened iced tea to the menu which is a nice addition to those that stay away from soft drinks. They don't open on Mondays. They do have a lunch menu available. Other than that it was a good experience overall. I would recommend trying this location.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Food was okay, I've have better Korean food and more authentic tasting food. Everything was sweet. And their spicy wasn't really spicy at all which is good for some but it lacked seasoning. All I could taste was sugar in the dishes for the most part. Service was good, loved the strolling robot. Area is small but clean and well kept. I wouldn't personally come here again as the food wasn't out of this world . I came simply to try it out as many have talked about it but it doesn't live up to the hype in my opinion.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Honestly this place was beautiful! It's very cozy and the staff is so friendly, one thing that I loved is that when you're sitting down you have a tablet to order, it explained everything and gave us enough time to think of what we wanted, even us not having to call our waiter much, they always came to check on us and bring us water etc. the food is super well, me and my friend had been curious on trying Korean food and this place has sooo many traditional dishes that I want to try! I order the share platter for 2 and it got us super full, as well that it allowed me to try different kinds of rolls. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their food !
google avatar

Ajade N.

Yelp
Ok I'm back, just wanted say they make a mean Korean Iced Coffee! Oh my so good!! Thank you!
google avatar

Veronica D.

Yelp
We love KIMBOP!! Every time we come we have an amazing experience. The food is always cooked to perfection (you HAVE to try the sweet chili wings... trust me) and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We will be customers for life
google avatar

Aurora G.

Yelp
I had such a lovely experience here. They had the NICEST employees!! The mandu was crispy and delicious, and the ramyun was perfectly light. The rice and filling of the kimbap was good, but as it was my first time having it, I didn't realize it would be room temp/cold. Not my favorite, but it won't stop me from coming back to try other dishes!
google avatar

Joseph N.

Yelp
I recently ordered takeout from here and what I ordered was the ribeye Bulgogi meal and let me tell you it was good even though it took 50 minutes for Uber to bring it to my house.
google avatar

D L.

Yelp
I went there when they first opened a few years back, it hasn't been that long, and I've gone there probably three times more since. I have yet to be disappointed, each, and every time was delicious, the people are nice and friendly. Have a great recommendations, the food is always delicious. Nothing to complain about, I also love that they have the newest K drama music playing in the background. The place is well lit, spacious, inviting, if I lived closer, I'd probably go there weekly. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Omar C.

Yelp
A must try. The food was very tasty and the prices range depending on what you like or get. The staff is super friendly and you have the K-Pop showing on the TV. I can remember what I ordered, but they were put into soy paper rolls, chicken and bulgogi meats; it was super delicious. I'll end it same I started with this review, a must try.
google avatar

Janelle G.

Yelp
I had never had Korean food other than their street corn dogs from another place so I was coming in to have a new taste. I was surprised by it honestly. I really like the food tray with all their different types of sides. Super cute and reminds me of the videos from tiktoks. Also I would say I have had ramen from many places in Miami and this is by far THE BEST BROTH I HAVE EVER HAD with ramen. Will definitely come back for the ramen. My husband had the rolls and he didn't find it all that.
google avatar

Emil M.

Yelp
The atmosphere and vibes were exceptional and the staff was extremely welcoming and kind! It was my first time trying Kimbap and it did NOT disappoint it was very well made and delicious! Dont get me started on the vanilla custard deserts those we I will 1000% be back for with that complementary coffee which was also DELICIOUS! 10/10 experience I love this place

Lucy X.

Yelp
Amazing Korean food and environment!! Catherine in the front is very nice and hardworking, good customer service. Will come back to try more of the menu

Yelp
It had been a while since I had last visited and reviewed Kimbop and am happy to see that they are in a storefront location in Kendall and to share the love, they have opened one in Broward County. If you are a fan of Korean food, they are a welcome addition. If you have never tried Korean food, you might want to try Kimbop at lunch as they have two lunch combos to choose from so you get to try smaller amounts of some of their items. Each of the entrees we sampled was delicious and were accompanied with a selection of banchan (accompaniments) of varying textures and colors that were perfectly paired with the entrees. The food is as flavorful as it is visually appealing. Since we had dined there for lunch, there were two lunch combos to select from as well as offering their regular menu. The service was very friendly and attentive. If you are planning on dining there, be advised that there is limited indoor seating, but there are several tables outside. Not to worry if you don't plan on dining in as they have takeout as well. The entrance to location may be a little difficult to see depending on what direction you are coming from. I passed by it twice not seeing it due to the façade of the waxing salon next door obstructing it. (It is to the the left of the salon). We will definitely go back! Thanks for a great lunch Kimbop!

Rosy H.

Yelp
First time trying Kimbop and it was a very good experience the teok bokki we got with sweet soy sauce was very good and the shrimp tempura was really good as well! We ordered an extra meal of the short rib and it was also very good
google avatar

Jim N.

Yelp
Arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. We seated within 10 minutes and they took our order within another 5 to 10 minutes. The food was flavorful and delicious and spicy , which is what we like. Highly recommend the Kimbop combo. There is enough to feed three or four
google avatar

Dee L.

Yelp
This smaill, quaint place was delightful! We ordered an appetizer and a few dishes... one was a vegetarian dish for my friend and I ordered a kimchi dish--everything delicious. The owner came by to greet us and chat with us and then sent over dessert on the house! What a nice surprise! Overall, we enjoyed our meal! We will return soon! Thank You!
google avatar

Kristy M.

Yelp
The food here is fabulous! My favorites include the Tteok-Bokki which is super spicy and delicious and the Ribeye Bulgogi! Don't forget to try their teas! The Staff is friendly and so helpful, it is definitely worth listening to their recommendations. This super cute and cozy restaurant is just the place to enjoy a wide area of tastes to your tastebuds.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent food and great service. I had the steak bulgogi meal. I also had their doughnuts. The service was outstanding. I will definitely be back. The ambiance was perfect with Korean music.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
I was excited to discover that Kimbop had moved over to a new location, complete with seating and full service. We visited during the weekend and ordered a variety of their popular dishes. The seating area is a bit small and narrow, but not too bad. Overall, we found the flavors relatively good, although a tad bit too sweet. We missed having Kimchi as a side and found some of the side platters a bit bland. Aside from that, the service was excellent and the food came out quickly. We recommend for some more spicy and savory flavors to be incorporated into their dishes.
google avatar

Ralph D.

Yelp
I was made aware of this place by my colleague and I wasn't disappointed!! The food was simply delicious! The Seoul wings were juicy, crunchy and had the right amount of sweetness with a kick of chili at the end. I also had the lunch special which was perfect. It looks like a lot of food but it's the perfect portion size which left me satiated and not needing to eat again until night time. Our server John really made my experience better with his warm welcome and helpful service. The ambiance was cool and really made me feel like I was actually in Korea! I had a great experience overall so it's Foodie Fam Approved!!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is delicious! The staff is very friendly, even got complimentary soup on a rainy day and of course the robot is pretty cool and cute popcorn chicken is perfectly crispy and the bibimbop with steak hit the spot

Yelp
I absolutely loved it here so much. I got the Royal Ribeye and everything was so delicious. The place is such a vibe too. Perfect atmosphere for a cozy dinner, with awesome music & the staff were so friendly. I also loved the cool robot !!

Everything was delicious and exquisite the services is the best, and they used robot technology to serve the costumer high recommend to who like the traditional Korean cuisine. Thanks for the dinner.

Yelp
The service was excellent, the food was so good! A great addition to the Kendall food scene!

Yelp
Sooooooo good. Would definitely come again. You guys have to try their Korean Friend Chicken. It's battered and fried to perfection. The Korean Chili sauce was very very mild. It was more on the sweet side, a little more chili flavor than a sweet thai chili sauce that comes with egg rolls at other places. The staff is super attentive and very welcoming. The restaurant's namesake is Kimbop, and they do not disappoint when it comes to that! The bulgogi wasn't too sweet or too salty. It had a great consistency. Would recommend if you are craving Korean food.

Sara K.

Yelp
Way too sweet and salty rabokee. The meat in the spicy pork gimbap felt dry and seemed like it was old.
google avatar

Kiara K.

Yelp
Delicious food. The owner was very nice and brought us complimentary kimchi and doughnuts as it was our first time there. It's a small, clean, cute little space that was playing Kpop. You also have to pay before you eat which is very convenient so you can just walk out when you're done. I couldn't take a picture of the nice food display but here's our delicious leftovers.

Sarah F.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in miami I drive 45 minutes to come eat here it is DELICIOUS, clean the staff is so kind they even give you free coffee. My favorite order is the veggie kimbap, mandu and the spicy chicken meal. 10/10

Krys P.

Yelp
This restaurant has recently moved to the location previously occupied by Off The Grille. The previous tenant had the grill front and center in the store, but now it's covered up, making the floor plan a bit weird, as the kitchen is now is the front part of the restaurant blocking part of the dining area. When we went at 7 on a Friday night, we snatched the second to last empty table. Looks like people in Kendall are excited to finally have a Korean restaurant to appear here! As the restaurant's name suggested, the specialty here is kimbap. It's the Korean version of sushi, with rice seasoned with sesame oil instead of vinegar, and using cooked meat and ingredients instead of raw fish. Here at Kimbop, they offer vegetables, chicken, beef and pork. You can also opt to have it keto style with egg instead of rice. Worth a special mention that they use stainless steel chopsticks here, etched with fine patterns, instead of disposables! There are some other options besides kimbap, such as chicken wings, fried dumplings, grilled meat rice set and ramyun. We didn't try the ramyun as, checking the other tables, the wavy noodles look like they are from an instant pack. They were out of chicken wings, so we got the boneless ones, expecting breast but to our surprise were some juicy pieces of thighs with a crunchy shell in some addictive sauce. The Tteok-Bokki was delicious even if I don't care for rice cakes. Compare to other Korean restaurants, their menu is definitely limited. Also, don't expect a table-side grilling experience, or an array of banchan unless you get a set meal. They have banchan, but you do have to order and pay for each. Service is great, our waitress is really nice, our food comes out fast, and our water refilled frequently. Kimbop is a nice addition to the Kendall dining scene!!
google avatar

Dina P.

Yelp
Kimbop was a random find, but a gem! The food is really good and it's in a great spot. The servers are very nice and helpful when choosing what to order. I have been able to sample all the sushi's and they are all great in their own way. The drinks are a must! Definitely a hit

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Korean kimchi and plates. The service is incredible and such a pleasure to dine here. :)
