Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts

We recently saw the Wiz and it was one of the best shows I have seen! This venue was beautiful and large. I imagine incredible views from wherever you sit! Every performer had incredible voices with amazing range! The costumes were vibrant and the set was perfect! The dancing and breath control while singing was amazing! The crowd was also amazing and animated! The show was exciting! It was a gift from our daughter! We will never forget it! We came down from Michigan!

Had an amazing time here, the venue itself is really beautiful and the drinks are reasonably priced for what this venue is like. The orchestral number was magical and all of the staff were very attentive, would definitely return here again. Tickets are pretty expensive but you get good sound quality anywhere that you sit. It is convenient to get here with public transit if necessary, parking may be kind of tricky. Definitely trying to visit again the future if I can!!!

Beautiful venue! The main lobby is stunning and the theatre itself is comfortable and well designed. I was only here for a graduation but would love to come back for a show. There was definitely a lot of thought put into the design of this building with plenty of restrooms and lots of places to purchase refreshments.

Beautiful venue. My daughter's school chorus and band play here every spring. She absolutely loves being on that stage. I've seen a few other shows here, most notably, Tori Amos; my favorite female vocalist of all time.

Had an absolutely amazing time here seeing the Nicola Sala Conservatory of Benevento, Italy. It was my first opera and I can't not wait to experience more. I had a friend who is familiar with opera and said this was the best performance she had seen to date!

The Wiz was awesome! We had a great time the singing was superb! I laughed and laughed. I highly recommend this Broadway tour, sit back and enjoy the escape to Oz!

The Kimmel Center is a true gem in Philadelphia! Attended a concert there last weekend and was blown away by the stunning architecture and acoustics. The staff was welcoming, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend catching a performance here!

We attended a concert by the Philadelphia orchestra at Marian Anderson Hall, which is gorgeous and has amazing acoustics. Of course it helps that the orchestra is top notch! Highly recommended! Pictured below: Pianist Yefim Bronfman & conductor Tugan Sokhiev, April 2025.

Clean building, very large with lots of floors. I visited this center for a private event on the top floor, which had a nice rooftop seating area and indoor seating. The bathroom was very clean. There appears to be a theater performance stage and bar in the building. There is a parking garage attached directly next to the building. However, I found cheaper street metered parking about 2 or 3 blocks away. The staff were very helpful guiding guests to the correct floor of their ticketed event.
