Kindli Hotel

Such a lovely hotel. The staff are unbelievably helpful and a joy to deal with. The rooms are beautifully appointed and absolutely spotless. Breakfast is super fresh and delicious. The location is on a little quiet side street in the old town with many sites within walking distance. I cannot recommend enough.

Hotel Kindli is a true gem! Nestled right in the heart of Old Town, it offers convenient walking access to all of Zürich's landmarks and attractions. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to accommodate guests. The hotel features a fantastic restaurant, and everything is spotlessly clean. On my arrival, they even upgraded my room, ensuring I was very comfortable. Their attentive service to customers is commendable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for your stay in Zürich, and I would happily choose it again if I return.

the staff was excellent. breakfast was decent. the location near top oh hill,but still close to all the action. i think strong point of hotel was their staff bending over backwards to help you.

Lovely boutique hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are quaint and cosy, pretty quiet. Only issue I had was that the shower was a bit small, but that’s not a major problem and I was still able to wash properly. Location is very good, right in the old town and a short walk from a lot of attractions. One thing to be wary of is that it’s situated on a sloped road, so could be difficult to access for some people. Overall, loved my stay here, will definitely book again when I’m back in Zurich

I recently stayed at Kindli Hotel for three nights. I loved it. The location in old town is fantastic. The room was on the small side but sparkling clean and bright. There are surprising and nice little amenities like, the front door opens automatically when you enter or leave, and there is a wall socket for an iPhone charger cord (no need for an adapter). The staff is exceptional: bright, friendly, helpful. Breakfast is included, and the breakfast spread in the dining room is super. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant, and it was truly exceptional. Someone who lives in Zurich told me that it is one of the best restaurants in Zurich, and I believe it. I would definitely stay at Kindli again.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. Room was comfortable and quiet. Service staff were always helpful and kind. Breakfast eggs were made to order and served in a charming wood paneled dining room. Dinner was also served there. Service and food perfect. You couldn't ask for more. You will not be disappointed in any way!

This is an absolutely gem of a hotel in Old Town section of Zurich, if you have the chance to stay . My husband and I walked all over the city with ease. |I cannot say enough about how helpful and hospitable all the staff are. They went above and beyond several times during our stay. The room was cozy but very clean and comfortable. It was quiet. There are some nice amenities. Coffee, tea, bottled water ( note- the tap water there is excellent!) along with some treats in the lobby. |The drinks in the mini bar are free. Breakfast (included) was also very good. The restaurant for lunch and dinner is Michelin rated, if that is something you like to do.

This hotel is in the middle of the historic district and up a very steep street (but short). The first impression is that you’ve stumbled into a shabby two star hote with no lobby whatsoever . This impression is quickly dispelled by the careful display of fresh fruit and water, the Nespresso machine and the friendliness of the entire staff. |The room could best be described as cozy but charming. We had a corner room with exposure on two sides. The r was exceptionally bright and cheerful, the AC worked well and there was lots of light from the six lamps (although one had a very dim bulb and its twin kept blinking on and off). The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and they will make eggs to order. The room was very quiet. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. The bathrobe material was not very thick but the towels made up for it.

Exceptional hotel, great in every way. Great location, friendly, efficient service, charming, stylish decor, neat and clean. The food in its restaurant is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, small restaurant in Hotel Kindli in Old Town. Extremely professional staff, nice wine list starting from 45 and up, great entrees from 25, nice selection of appetizers and desserts. Figure CH300 for two with wine and drinks. I had Thai Shrimp on pasta that was great. I had had enough Rösti that week and needed something different. I had a great red with the dinner and enjoyed the service. This is a romantic and beautiful restaurant in a nice part of Old Town and deserves your visit.

We came across this place while on our 'christmas market' trip in December of 2012. The place looked great and very 'local' - we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing. It was about 10 of us and everyone loved all their dishes. However, the mushroom soup was the hit at the table... One thing to remember - it is Switzerland, thus prices are high.

This is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed. The owner and staff greet you each day and assist with Travel ideas and restaurant reservations. The breakfast each morning is excellent and fresh. The location is central walking distance to everything yet on a quaint side street that is very quiet at night. We will be back!!
