First and foremost, I'm not in the habit of dragging my 3 year old around to bars at night so the circumstances around this review are not typical for me but I'd just like to put some information out there for any other parents that happen to like fun. We were wandering around town after the penny arcade, burning off our ice cream at around 9:15pm when we noticed music coming from this bar as the front door was wide open. My husband and I stood outside with our 3 year old and watched for a few minutes as we were passing by. There were about 5 people dancing. My daughter kept asking to go in so yes, against my better judgement, I walked into a bar with my little one for a quick dance. I didn't approach the bar- I literally was having a quick spin with my daughter just inside the door when we were asked to leave- no little ones after 9pm. Okay, I get it, there are policies and everything but I don't know. It seemed clear that the situation was just a lark. I wasn't about to belly up to the bar with my toddler and stay all night. The place wasn't packed and we got a few smiles from the patrons that were there so I thought a quick 5 minute dance would be alright. My husband was even waiting just outside the door for us. Whatever. Seemed unnecessarily uptight for a summer Saturday night. Won't be heading back.
