This was highly recommended by Juri Matsumoto (the owner of Ramen Matsu in Closter, NJ) so we had to check it out. It’s tucked into a very local area in Kita. The light sardine broth was absolutely amazing with deep flavors. I definitely recommend Zenbu Iri Won Ton Men for your first time over the Sancho. I liked the Sancho ramen too which had a citrus hint that brought a nice balance to the soup. Halfway into the ramen, add a little of their chili on the table (you won’t be disappointed). Their shrimp and pork wontons tasted like I was transported back to Hong Kong (it was my first time having wontons in my ramen so it was such a unique touch). Their eggs were also very flavorful. You get to choose either 200g or 300g of ramen for the same price. FYI, it is cash only via a ticket machine.
