The 38 Best Restaurants in Dublin, Ireland

"Open for: Lunch and dinner every day Price range: $$ Lobsters, shrimp, prawns, and crab come directly from a handful of local boats at this casual restaurant in the coastal village of Howth, a 30-minute train journey from the city center. At this relaxed space with plenty of nautical nods, tuck into unfussy dishes of shellfish bisque, crab salad, and fish and chips.  Vibe check: With blankets on hand and a little cabin roof overhead, the outdoor tables are as pleasant on a chilly day as when the sun shines." - Corinna Hardgrave

This seafood restaurant is a true delight! Nestled in a picturesque harbour, it offers not only stunning views but also an exceptional dining experience. The staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. The food is simply outstanding, with fresh, flavorful seafood dishes that are perfectly complemented by their delicious wine selection. Plus, it's dog-friendly, so your furry friends are welcome too! Highly recommend for a memorable meal by Howth Harbour. 🐾🍷🍽️

Absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the lovely friendly Francesca who really went out her way for us. She was knowledgeable, chatty, and made us feel totally at ease. Both ladies who we dealt with were lovely, just didn't get the other ladies name, Irish hospitality at it's finest. As for the food, it was so tasty and flavourful and better than other spots in the area. We had crab claws and mussels with brown bread, and couldn't get enough! We shall return, thank you 😊

we went to the seafood bar to eat and it was GREAT! the outdoor tables were heated and we had blankets to keep warm. the food was amazing! the oysters, lobster, fish and chips (special mention for the delicious sweet potato chips) and the meringue desert?? incredible. the service was very good as well, everyone was very nice. however i do recommend calling to book a table as they are very busy.

We went to this restaurant for a birthday meal this evening, so writing this after getting home. The meal we had was delicious, I had heard on the grapevine that it was nice, but the food, the staff and restaurants interior, far exceeded our expectations. The pictures I have taken of some of food, do not do them or the flavours justice. Lovely for couples or small groups, Will definitely go again, and if nearer would be there a lot.

We have stayed at this fabulous hotel a number of times, this visit was just as good as previous visits. ||All of the team, without exception were fantastic, really friendly and genuine.||Our room was outstanding. We were in Howth Harbour, one of their two new additions, on the first floor where the old restaurant used to be. Our bed was so comfortable and enormous, with stunning views of the harbour through fabulous large windows, two lovely chairs allowed us to take a coffee or a tipple and watch the world go by and the bathroom was generous and well thought out. Whilst only a minor detail to have a plug socket close to a mirror for when using a hairdryer was a joy, other hotels, take note!||Breakfast was a delight, a good selection of continental choices and some lovely hot options, including smoked haddock and poached eggs.||We had a fabulous 3 night stay and are already looking forward to a return visit.||Highly recommended.

King Sitric in Howth offers a cozy, welcoming ambiance with fantastic service and outstanding seafood. The staff were warm and attentive, making our experience even better. We enjoyed incredibly fresh oysters, rich butter garlic prawns, and an enormous portion of perfectly steamed mussels. The fish and chips were crispy, golden, and delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection, making for a truly memorable meal. With its charming atmosphere, friendly service, and top-quality seafood, King Sitric is a must-visit for anyone in Howth.

Stayed here a few time over the years and this time was memorable. We were offered a room upgrade on arrival due to a cancellation and the room was spacious with a pier view. The food was excellent but it was the staff who stole the show. Young ,focussed and hard working they went out of their way to help and engage . Wish service was like this everywhere !
