"Sound familiar? This rural Virginia-born raw bar has added multiple locations across the DMV in recent years. At its Middleburg outpost, enjoy a selection of freshly-shucked East and West Coast oysters by the half-dozen among other appetizers like Peruvian-style ceviche made with sea bass, shrimp, habanero, lime, and cilantro. Entrees include fried oyster or shrimp platters and parmesan-crusted trout with asparagus and a lemon-butter sauce. It’s a particularly popular place for Sunday brunch." - Tim Ebner, Kalina Newman

The food and atmosphere here were good. You can tell as this place gets really busy! We went for a quick bite at the bar one night and went for lunch the next day. No complaints with the food - it’s exactly what you’d expect. The salmon BLT was good for lunch! My only issue was the host staff. When we walked in they were super rude. I get they were busy but it felt like they could have been a little kinder and not just brushed us off. No issues with our server or the bartender. Both were great and very friendly!

I stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon while in town for an event. I was greeted immediately by a hostess. They were a little busy and it was just me so I sat at the upstairs bar. There was some outdoor seating along the building but it was closed at the time - it was a little chilly out that day so I’m guessing that’s why. The bartender greeted me quickly and made me a very good cranberry mule mocktail. The bar area upstairs is small but it’s comfortable. I ordered the lobster roll and had brocolini instead of fries. It wasn’t the beat lobster roll I have ever had but it was good. The brocolini was good. My bar neighbors’ food all looked good as well. The bartender was obviously busy but still attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was casual and upbeat. Prices were comparable to other seafood restaurants I’ve been to. I think this is a VA based franchise and I didn’t realize that at first but after thinking about it I am pretty sure there is a location in Leesburg, VA as well. Overall good experience and I would come again if ever in the area.

Nice little oyster bar restaurant in the middle of Middleburg. This is a casual setting. The ceviche is good served with fried plantains. The chili was also pretty good. Portion is pretty small. Fried oyster is delicious here. The grilled salmon sandwich is good with a nice grilled flavor. French fries were soggy. Margarita was good. Crab cake sandwich was pretty good. It was flavorful and fresh.

Popped in for lunch on a weekday this week and despite not having reservations we were lucky enough to snag a table for two at a great table upstairs. This restaurant never disappoints but it is popular so be patient as you enjoy the stellar customer service, great menu, inventive cocktails, and the delicious food!

Came here for Father’s Day. Nice greeting at the door. You have 3 choices of seating - upstairs bar area, main room with a bar, or outdoor. We chose upstairs and sat at the bar. It was happy hour, so we ordered off of that menu. Everything was delicious and the bartender was on point. Of course, had to grab some oysters too. The menu has a little bit for everyone. Recommend!

We had the pleasure of dining at King Street Oyster Bar in Middleburg after a relaxing spa treatment, and it was the perfect way to continue the celebration for my friend’s birthday! The restaurant has a charming, fun, and friendly vibe that immediately set the tone for a wonderful lunch. I started with four charbroiled oysters, and they were absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. For my main course, I opted for the salmon salad, which was light yet incredibly satisfying. My friend had the Asian shrimp salad, and we also shared a side of their amazing French fries. Everything was packed with flavor, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The location itself is small but cozy, with a laid-back atmosphere that makes it a great spot to unwind. The staff was attentive and friendly, making our experience even better. I can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings! If you're ever in Middleburg, I highly recommend stopping by King Street Oyster Bar for a great meal and a relaxing time.

Google
This place was great! We had booked a table as it can get pretty busy and as soon as we walked in with someone unable to walk up a flight of stairs they did their best to get us a table downstairs quickly, offering us seats whilst we waited. I’ve never had an oyster before so tried a grilled one here for the first time - really good! I then had a salmon salad for main which was lovely. Staff were super kind and helpful, menu was great, and I would definitely recommend!

Google
The food was great, and Adam was super. It does get a bit hectic inside, like Grand Central Station, so outside seating might be your jam. But the Happy Hour is one of the best. Lots of great items to choose from.

Yelp
This is a MUST experience if you love fresh oysters! I am in love with the Raspberry Point oysters as an appetizer and the Asian Steak salad. My husband tried the Father and Son Old Fashion with a Monterey Chicken Salad. Mile high pie dessert is truly enough for 6! This is a MUST share! Our waitress was terrific and made sure everything we wanted was just right. Great service! If the weather is great, they have outside seating, and that makes it very pleasant all the way around. This is a place you would love to return to, whether in Leesburg or in Middleburg, VA

Yelp
I spent Mother's Day in Middleburg and was staying at the red fox inn across from king street oyster bar. I'm not a huge seafood lover so was hesitant to eat here but the fact that it was so conveniently located to the hotel made it an easy choice. It was pretty busy on a Friday afternoon, but me and my mom were promptly seated even though we had no reservations. Service was great but OMG the food was delicious, it blew my mind. I ordered the grilled salmon with mashed cauliflower and lemon butter and a side of Mc and cheese. The salmon was divine, perfectly cooked and the cauliflower mashed tasted just like mashed potatoes, so creamy and good! The portion of the salmon was pretty generous. The side of Mc and cheese was huge! That could have been an entree and it was the best Mc and cheese I've ever had. I'm still dreaming about it, so rich and creamy. I was mind blown and can't wait to be back!

Yelp
Just went there for lunch Thursday and had a lovely experience! I absolutely loved the little gourmet market that used to be in this space, but what a pleasant surprise. My friend and I decided on 2 sandwiches and split them so we could try more stuff. Sadly, we weren't hungry enough for appetizers - but the guy's ceviche next to us looked fabulous. Anywho -- we opted for the jumbo lump crab cake sandwich and the salmon BLT. Both were incredibly tasty. The crab cakes had no fillet and were perfectly cooked. The salmon was also perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the smoked bacon. We both thought the basil aioli was an awesome flavor that really pulled it all together nicely. Our sides were fantastic, too - fries (so fresh & homemade) & mashed cauliflower that would please a French chef! The interior is very "raw bar casual" - and was pretty packed. Still, we were able to grab 2 seats at a high top sharing the long table with another couple. Great experience. Will definite return!

Yelp
Stopped by tonight for happy hour and BOY was it hot. (A piping 96 degrees) We failed to make reservations in advance and the only seating available was outside so we decided to tough it out.We were seated at a table that was on loose and uneven bricks causing two of the table legs to not even touch the ground. We ordered drinks, apps, and a meal. I was going to order a meal but I guess the waitress never heard me so she only placed my boyfriend's order. After some time had passed, his meal was brought out and I was beyond hot so I just decided on skipping ordering a meal altogether. They updated the bruschetta since the last time we went which was phenomenal. Experience was just ok this go around.

Alissa C.

Yelp
We made a reservation online as we were on our way and good thing we did cause this place was packed! We were given a table with high stools which wasn't going to work with our party and we were easily accommodated with a different table. However, our service had a rough start and our waiter was not attentive with water or refills of our drinks. After we ended up going to the bar for refills, he ended up being attentive. We started with the blue crab dip and oysters, both of which were very fresh and delicious. I added the scallops to a brussel salad and it was a perfect light lunch, so yummy and filling. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and there is limited seating. So ensure you make a reservation if you want to enjoy the splendid food of this establishment.

Yelp
Great food & service! It's a bustling place, so if you're looking for quiet, keep looking!

Mattew D.

Yelp
If you are an oyster lover then this is your place! If you're not then this place is still very nice to visit if they have a table ready for you. 4 out of 4 times we couldn't reserve anything for that same day but when we came there there's quite a few tables empty. Many reviewers before me mentioned that and it's true. We managed to get the table twice using the 'join the waitlist' option but both time the original wait time tripled on us so we had to wait much longer then the system told us originally. The service is quite good but you always feel rushed as you see the others waiting for your table. The burger is alright but nothing special. I guess you're not supposed to expect that at a great oyster place.

Kris M.

Yelp
5 stars for service, I wanted to make that clear first. This place was recommended to us by someone at the Salamander. I loved the fact that they had so many eastern oysters to choose from (see photo). The staff was super knowledgeable and assisted me with my choices. I ordered a dozen plus three. Three each of 5 varieties. They were all good with just a couple of shell bits. The 4 stars is really due to the temperature of the soup. J ordered a corn crab chowder and it was barely warm... it's a real pet peeve of mine. They have a few locations and I would definitely stop in again.

Yelp
Really nice place for lunch in downtown Middleburg. Went on the hottest day this summer and can attest to a pleasant temperature inside despite the building's age haa. The restaurant looked just like the pictures, nautical theme, and had a steady crowd inside already. Had the lobster salad which was excellent and friend ordered fish and chips, another salmon, which they also said was excellent. There was a little one that was able to get a kids burger for a reasonable price that she liked (they had booster and high chairs available). After entrees we asked about desserts, but the server gave us back a menu, which included a seasonal item so we never knew what that was, and feeling turned down, we decided not to get any.

Lauren M.

Yelp
A must visit in Middleburg! I recommend sitting inside for more of a hustle/bustle energy and for watching the kitchen work their magic or choose their patio for wonderful views of the Main Street of Middleburg. You have to try their oysters of course but don't miss out on their lobster salad and their craft cocktails. Their Bloody Mary is a classic accompaniment but they have some inventive new options as well. Pro tip-if you're hoping for an outdoor spot and plan to shop around the local boutiques put your name down first as their can be a wait (although always manageable!)

Phil M.

Yelp
Food and drinks and service were all great and very reasonably priced. It was very busy, so much so that there was a wait for inside or outside tables, even outside of peak times on a Saturday.

Lam L.

Yelp
Very delicious oyster and food. This is a small area so definitely check this place out because you're not going to get any fresher seefood for miles

Cynthia L.

Yelp
DMV has a number of King Street Oyster Bar's (just going out on a limb and saying they all might be linked in some way), but Middleburg's was a good stop, if you're staying at the Salamander. We made weekday reservations (highly recommended btw, as the place is small) and were seated right away. When you enter, you'll find someone shucking away at oysters to your left. And just behind the tables in the middle, you'll see the kitchen bustling away at orders. There's an upstairs bar and high-top seating area and that's where we were seated. We order Happy Hour Oyster shooters (love that they had a house made habanero sauce), Happy Hour Calamari (would've liked my sauce on the side and not underneath all my calamari), the Thai salad (decent but had more noodles than lettuce), and a couple kids meals; We wanted to order a healthier veggie option for the kids (over fries) but they stopped serving green beans (on the menu) and asparagus was the only option (and my kid were rather eat dirt than asparagus- it's the only vegetable she can't do, literally). Quick and friendly service- our family of 5 were in and out of there in 47 min.

Brenda G.

Yelp
I made a Reservation at 7 pm over a mont not seated until 7:30 pm. Then, they try to charge us for 3 servings of shrimp when we had one. The sea scallop entree was good and sharable. I am disappointed after reading reviews in general service especially since it was my 65th birthday celebration. .

John C.

Yelp
Great food, great atmosphere, great service and great drinks for a reasonable price - what more can you ask for. The only thing better is if it is a pretty day and you get to eat outside and people watch.

Puja B.

Yelp
This oyster bar is about a 15 min walk from salamander hotel. Wait tends to be long but you can add to the waitlist online. When we got there it was 455 pm and they had An amazing happy hour. We tried the blue cheese chips, the grilled oysters and u got the special rockfish. Even my daughter's Mac and cheese was amazing. I would recommend for anyone in middleburg- also prices were great!

Lorne E.

Yelp
We came for the cozy atmosphere and left feeling SUPER cared for. I forgot my credit card and the young waitress ran down two blocks to catch me and give it back. THANK YOU!!! You are an awesome server and we hope to see you again soon.

Molly H.

Yelp
Downtown Middleburg is so cute but with not that many restaurant options. KSOB is a great one though! It's popular and the tables are awfully close to one another so hopefully you have some courteous neighbors. The menu is pretty large especially if you can make it for happy hour! Our table started with oysters, which were devoured. I ordered the salmon, which came with crab on top in a lemon butter sauce, a cauliflower mash and a medley of tomato and asparagus. It was so delicious! I'm usually not a big fan of asparagus but if you chop it up and pair it with tomato, it's so good, who knew? Our server was nice but a little all over the place taking care of lots of tables so getting more water and the bill took a little long.

Benjamin J.

Yelp
Loved the place. It's extremely busy but the service and food is great. Had the oysters, chicken salad and chicken tenders and all of it was on point. Our server Catherine was amazing as well. She gave us good recommendations for what we needed to order. Definitely will be back to try out some of their other food for sure. Oysters are definitely worth the money and they have a good variety.

Mary T.

Yelp
The food it's super delicious Service its allays good And the place is very clean . Definitely coming back.

Kevin L.

Yelp
The wife and I needed to grab a quick bite before our spa treatments at the Salamander Resort. To our surprise, they had happy hour which seemed like everyday that goes from 3:00pm-6:30pm. The place was busy but we fortunately landed at the first come first serve bar area. We ordered a few beers, wings, spinach dip, and a dozen oysters. The oysters are $1 during happy hour. We were in and out of here quickly but will be back!

Robert F.

Yelp
As they say in real estate, location, location, location. That's pretty much all this place has to go on. Food is substandard, service is mediocre. Definitely not worth the price.

Catherine M.

Yelp
We came here for a mid week happy hour and sat at the bar, where we got quick and great service. The space is two floors but smaller and an open kitchen. A few tvs in the bar area are a definite plus! The happy hour deals are great- we got some house white and then started in on the food. We went with the crab cake sliders, the tuna tacos, and the calamari. The crab cake slides and tuna tacos were amazing, the guac on the tacos especially. Calamari was good too, just your typical calamari. We also got the crab dip thats not on happy hour and enjoyed how much crab there was compared to the cheese ratio- though it is a smaller portion. Overall a great time!

Meg J.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! the reason I keep coming back to Middleburg! The manager is so kind! And all the staff is awesome!

Robin F.

Yelp
Moriah was a wonderful server. The place is like SF, Looks bigger from the outside then you walk in and it is warm and cozy, inviting you to enjoy. we sat in a cute table in the corner, where I could see the cooks. Every dish was individually made and I was so impressed at the quality of the food and that the entire cooking staff was smiling and enjoying their job. Happy customers come from happy staff. It was very refreshing experience. We had a really nice couple sitting near us and we got to see the items they ordered and then enjoyed their meal. Started with oysters and hush puppies and bowls of gumbo. You could see everything was top quality but it's fresh and being able to look when others who is it ask how things were cave as first timers a nice base of what t o order. we started with the house salads which were absolutely the best salad we've ever had. All the ingredients were fresh ripe tossed perfectly with the right amount of dressing everything was coated throughout. There was no unevenness in distribution so there was no heaviness of dressing just wonderful mesh of flavors and crunchy it was a beautiful beautiful salad. I'm very picky about fresh fruit and vegetables coming from Northern California. It's very hard to get in Virginia and being able to grow our own or have it really available in California I am a bit spoiled. Not having much barbecue I decided on the barbecue ribs the baby backs fell off the bone. I really like the idea of the french fries underneath the ribs that was very good they were still crunchy and hot. Coleslaw to the side with a little bit of cinnamon that was very nice and new flavor to me. The chicken piccata was off the hook! I got a bite and I am going to have to order that the next time we come. I've never had it before so the bar is going to be super high if I ever get to have it somewhere else. The place was clean it was warm and inviting as if you were eating at home. Everyone who works there was diligent and friendly which helped the 10+ experience. We've walked by this place several times whenever visiting Middleburg & I am very pleased my husband chose here fir our anniversary Kudos to all involved.

Victoria N.

Yelp
Absolutely get their oyster shots! I was a little worried that they might be a little sandy or slimy, but there were neither! You could order half a dozen or a dozen. And, you can mix east and west coast oysters. East coast oysters have more of a salty and a bit chewier. On the other hand, the west coast oysters are a bit sweeter with a plumper, buttery taste. I preferred the saltier, brinier oysters (east coast). 1. Sweet Jesus: Mild tasting East coast oyster with a sweet bite. 2. Queen's Cup: Canadian oyster with a briny taste. I preferred this one more. We also ordered the Ivy City Smokehouse Fish Board, which was enough for two people. It included the salmon candy, pepper salmon (my favorite), traditional salmon, North Carolina rainbow trout, and Great Lakes Whitefish Salad. The spicy remoulade is as creamy spicy sauce that went very well with every fish on the board. We asked for additional remoulade to go. They unfortunately don't sell the remoulade, but I hope to create it! 1. Crab Benedict: crab cake with poached eggs benedict style. Nothing spectacular about this but it was still delicious. Overall: I'm a returning customer!

Richard T.

Yelp
Love this place- impeccable service- excellent food, fairly priced. I had the best crab dip I've ever had here. It wasn't over old bay-ed or super salty. Recommend this place.

Marissa D.

Yelp
Been here a couple times now, the last time was a few days ago. The oysters are totally fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. It's easy to try a lot of different ones, and many are local to the region. They are served with the usual fixins, over ice. There are also oyster shooters! Try the OG with Bloody Mary mix. The are lovely cocktails, both cold and hot. I had the hot toddy and loved it. The bartenders were so nice and didn't steer us wrong once! My favorite item had to be my entree-- the Grilled Scallop Pasta with lobster and a ginger sauce. Did somebody say YUM? I'll be back for sure.

Chelsea B.

Yelp
Tasty food, fried shrimp were very crispy and well seasoned. Get really hectic and noisy during busy times, if you enjoy hustle and bustle it's nice but not great for cozy conversations.

Dona P.

Yelp
Wow hello hand cut French fries and perfectly grilled oysters !! Best lobster salad I've had in a minute. Excellent Bloody Mary mix & FABULOUS service !! Ambiance is very welcoming and enjoyable. Just dinging one star since my fish and chips felt a bit of a letdown with the coating getting soggy quickly and the French fries feeling nominally hot / fresh compared to the earlier side we had ordered which were fabulous! We'll be back though!

Michael S.

Yelp
I had a reservation for 7:30 and wasn't seated until 8. Multiple patrons with the same party size were seated before us. When we were finally seated, there was no apology offered. The waiter was superb however. He attended to all our needs and the chikdren's needs. The food was par, but that was probably tainted due to the rough start. A simple acknowledgement of the error would have cured all.

Sterling G.

Yelp
Great food. Lovely bar. Busy, come early or make reservations. Nautical theme with some cute sea artwork.

Cameron W.

Yelp
KSOB has the best value happy hour with food and drinks. I am going to happy hour here for the omega-3s (hello oysters!) but a house mule helps too. Very appropriately priced for seafood in this area. Wait staff is kind and quick. Very cocktail we've had us been tasty and every entree scrumptious. I would recommend a reservation especially if you want to take advantage of happy hour. It always seems to be full. The seating can be a little tight but if you don't mind being close to other people than it's no problem.

Eric W.

Yelp
I was starving and this place had great reviews, so I decided to try it out. Food - Good, their burgers are good. Service - Okay, but this place is usually very busy, calling ahead wouldn't hurt. Parking - It is in Middleburg so parking might be tricky, but it is possible to find. Overall, this place is good.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Excellent food, very fresh, tender and perfectly prepared and served. Great service and surprisingly fast service of food. Great selection, we will definitely be back! Best oysters we've had in many years, including at the beach. Had fried oysters and an assortment of raw oysters. This is a hidden gem and a Must try!

Monica C.

Yelp
We have been to the Middleburg and Leesburg locations and we were not disappointed at either location. The waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable. You cannot beat the happy hour menu - food and drink choices. The corn and crab chowder (not a happy hour choice but well priced at $8) is delicious and left me wanting more. The crab cake sliders are small but so very good. I wanted another order but was feeling full. My husband ordered oysters and the Brussels sprouts salad (also not a happy hour choice). The salad was a large portion and is very flavorful made with almonds and a balsamic dressing. We definitely recommend stopping in!

Terrie C.

Yelp
Great selection of oysters and service was attentive and engaging. We made it in time for happy hour so it was fun to try out a selection of options we may have passed on otherwise. I strongly recommend the calamari with lobster sauce. Holy smokes! It was amazing. The lobster bisque was tasty, I just wish the serving was a bit more generous. My husband said the crab cake sliders were excellent as well. Next time we will spend the day in Leesburg first as there are so many interesting shops in the same area that I want to visit. As a note, it was a bit loud. If you want a place for quiet conversation , this may not be the best choice. Otherwise, it is a ringer!

Linda B.

Yelp
It was our first time here and all of the food was absolutely fresh and delicious!! They have a very young staff, but all of them were very professional and attentive. We will definitely go back again for a delicious meal! Note: You can't make reservations unless you have a party of 10 or more. The wait time is LONG, but worth it. Make sure to get your name placed on the wait list once you are in town and trying to find parking.

Lexy N.

Yelp
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE My husband has a severe gluten allergy, we made them aware of this NUMEROUS times . He ordered a burger on Gluten free bread and when the food came out we again confirmed it was gluten free , after it was completely consumed we asked the brand of the bun and they then told us it was Pepperidge Farms bun which is NOT gluten free. They then didn't even make it right - offered to take the 15 dollar burger off the 700 dollar bill after they fed my husband something he is allergic to. The general manager was a complete jerk about the entire situation , walked away mid conversation because he didn't want to "deal with it". I just was completely amazed by the lack of professionalism . He said he talked to the owner and that was all the owner said to do to help the situation. I am writing this review in hopes that anyone with an allergy reads this and is extremely cautious . It is important to take allergies extremely serious and they just don't. Very, very unfortunate.

Bella J.

Yelp
I have been here for many times and I think this place is solid 3.5 stars. 1. Wait time There is ALWAYS wait time and it is not short, minimum 20 min to 1.5 hours. You really wanna get your name down as soon as you arrive in town. 2. Food - good - Tuna tartar was good, but not the best I tried - Scallop lobster pasta - scallop was done so well and amazing and lobster is always great, but the pasta sauce was too much and sour , it caused acid reflux, which is something I don't normally suffer from. - Tuna salad was good cause of the tuna, but cold rice?! that's straight up sin! Who serves not just cooled down rice but rice that sat in refrigerator sort of rice? like wow. They need some Asian chef in the mix, so wrong. 3. Drinks - okay Their mixed drinks are okay. They are the best in town for sure, but having tried many places in DC and NYC, I think the best as 5 stars and go down, so here the drinks are just okay. Bloody mary is really loaded here with shrimp, bacon etc and it was great one day and meh the other. I think the most important thing for a restaurant business is consistency and I don't see it here. 4. Service - rushed, busy and impersonal and it is fine with me. 5. Covid precaution: no one's wearing mask inside since they are dining and tables aren't that far but good enough in my opinion. They do have about 6 or so tables outside.

Yelp
King Street Oyster Bar is located right in the middle of King Street, Middleburg VA. A beautiful town with a village feel, with mAny independently owned shops and of course bars & restaurants. KSOB has a great feel to it, open, inviting with lots of outside tables and two floors within. We were seated at a high top near the bar on the ground floor. It was a perfect location for us. We got to see the oyster shucking first hand and the professionalism of the staff at play. We were attended to promptly with a great explanation of the Happy hour and menu items. The server spoke in detail about the different types of oysters available and was able to explain exactly the differences in them. The whole experience was a fun and tasty one. The oysters were delicious as was the Peruvian Ceviche that we ordered. Fresh, Fresh Fresh. We had some great alcohol also. Lots to choose from and we particularly liked the selection of gins and wines. Overall a fantastic experience for our first visit to Middleburg. If we ever return to Middleburg we will definitely return to King Street Oyster Bar. Do not miss the Happy Hour which starts at 3pm daily.

Monica S.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our two visits (one lunch and one dinner) to King Street during our visit to Middleburg and Salamander this week. The ambiance, service and food was great! The quality of my burger was impressive albeit just a tad over cooked (I asked for medium) and the chicken piccata had the lightest and flakiest breading. The spaghetti noodles were a bit on the buttery side - so it leaned more towards rich than light - this is not a criticism, but an observation. My husband devoured his Salmon BLT and ordered the trout for dinner. While it was fried perfectly, it needed just a pinch more salt. Overall, it was great value for the prices and received a 5 star rating as my personal taste doesn't dictate others' preferences. We will be back, again, for our next visit!

Erin M.

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch here today. Our waiter was so friendly and the food was amazing!! The waiter was full of food and drink recommendations but wasn't pushy. Each course was really fresh and delicious. We got a lot of attention from the waitstaff and had a really great experience.

Yelp
Delicious way to celebrate! We sat at the bar and Cullen took great care of us. Very happy with the oysters! Hey the raspberry point and donut holes! The Moscow mule was a yummy treat too. You feel like you're in Maine with the ambiance.

Yelp
I walked in at five pm on a Saturday, it was obviously busy, and when I walked in I moved over so one of the servers could come in and a couple was behind me. when I got in, the couple that came in behind me was greeted them a server took them to a table. The hostess noticed me and I let her know it would just be me and she said all they had was bar space up and downstairs so I said upstairs was fine and she gave me a menu and said it's right up the stairs. When I got up there, the bar was completely full so I went back downstairs and left. Each time I've come here the service has been worse and it's not somewhere I'll come again just because of the service. The food and drinks are fantastic but the people that I've had experiences with are just getting worse.

Yelp
This our second experience at the King Street Oyster Bar and once again, we had a wonderful lunch! The appetizer of warm potato chips with blue cheese, basil aioli and tomatoes *AMAZING*!! As always, I must have my favorite - a fried oyster po boy! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Best spot for casual food and drinks in town. The food is great! The building is interesting, used to be an old bank. The prices especially for happy hour are good too.

Yelp
In general, the food is good - service is good but I'm no longer a fan of KSOB - they changed their menu and took off the entrees that I liked. Prices are too high AND the straw that broke the camel's back is their bogus charges - e.g. a $3 employee wellness charge. Really? How about I just tip the server and the sever decides if they need to pay for their wellness or their rent. And, to stack up several charges at the end of the bill and for your patrons to not even have a notice until the bill arrives is egregious. Therefore I reduced the tip by the same amount out of the bogus charges.

Yelp
Overpriced sub styled sandwiches ($35) at a winery tent as well as dishonest and uncooperative when duplicate charged. Order carefully and pay with cash.
