"At King Chang, there’s something for every type of meat lover. Patrons can choose from various combinations, such as beef, pork, or intestines, which are prepared on a stone grill and served with stew, corn cheese, and steamed egg. And in case you need other pairings with the meat or soju, King Chang also serves a special “pocha” menu with beloved street food items from Korea, such as marinated chicken feet, cheese dumplings, spicy rice cakes, and even silkworm pupa. Due to the widespread acclaim of its Buena Park location, King Chang opened another location in LA’s Koreatown just last year." - Cathy Park

"After years of packed nights at their Buena Park location, King Chang opened a second KBBQ restaurant right in the middle of Koreatown. This place specializes in gopchang—you'll see golden-brown offal served over bowls of udon or sizzling next to a medley of chopped veggies on a steel table grill. If you're looking to streamline your order with a combo, get the $89 beef set that comes with plenty of banchan, gyeranjjim, and three rounds of slightly sweet bulgogi, juicy boneless kalbi, and our favorite of the bunch, the god-tier marinated short ribs. You'll likely have to wait 30-ish minutes for a table on the weekends. But that still makes this a great backup option when you can't get into next door (it's been jam-packed since BTS grabbed dinner there in 2022)." - Nikko Duren

Menu attached with recent prices. Atmosphere is pleasant, very chill, great entry design. Service is amazing, they cook the meat for you and asks how you like it and whether to go slow or fast. Grilled to perfection. Sides are very tasty, authentic as well. Meats served is good quality, worth the price. We got the couple combo $80. Not the cheapest kbbq but worth for the service and quality of food. Will recommend. Do note that due to increased price of eggs, they do not offer steamed egg as of writing this review.

King Chang left an indelible mark with its exceptional service and culinary prowess. The dedication to customer satisfaction was evident from the moment we stepped in, even amidst the Saturday night rush. The servers went above and beyond, exhibiting attentiveness and kindness that elevated the entire dining experience. It's rare to find such a perfect balance of efficiency and warmth. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the large intestines, surpassing the small ones in both flavor and texture. The meticulous preparation showcased a culinary expertise that set King Chang apart. Each bite was a journey through rich and savory notes, leaving an undeniable impression. The smaller combo, designed for 2 to 3 people, proved to be ample, catering to varying appetites. The variety of Korean side dishes provided a delightful symphony of flavors, and the soybean paste stood out as a star among stars. Its depth of flavor added a distinctive touch to the meal. As a connoisseur of Korean cuisine, I can confidently say that King Chang serves the best intestines in town, a true gastronomic delight. I eagerly anticipate my return to savor more culinary treasures from their menu and to bask in the warmth of their impeccable service. King Chang is undoubtedly a gem in the realm of Korean dining, deserving of accolades for its outstanding offerings and commitment to culinary excellence.

If you’re looking for high-quality KBBQ with amazing service, KingChang - Buena Park is the place to go! The service was amazing —our server was super attentive and cooked all the meat perfectly, so we could just relax and enjoy. We ordered the Small Beef Combo, which came with prime thinly sliced brisket, prime boneless short rib, and seasoned prime rib. The meat was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The combo also included soybean paste stew, steamed egg, and corn cheese, We also got the Dried Pollack Hangover Ramen and Fish Cake Soup—both were packed with umami and super comforting.

Causal Korean BBQ in Buena Park. Food and service are great. We ordered a small size beef combo and cold noodle. Very satisfying!

Google
This is my family's absolute favorite restaurant. My mom, my husband, and even my daughter love it here. If you're taking a break from AYCE K-BBQ and want a place that focuses on quality over quantity, you should definitely check this place out. The servers grill everything for you, changing the grill based on the type of meat to bring out the best flavors. The side dishes change every time we visit, and they’re always so delicious. I always find myself eating more rice and side dishes here! There are a variety of combos to choose from, so you can pick exactly what you’re in the mood for. All the meats are premium cuts, letting you truly taste the different flavors of marbling in each cut. The service is also top-notch. They constantly check in to make sure you have everything you need. If you bring kids, they even cut the meat into smaller pieces and cook it longer for them, which is such a thoughtful touch. If you love intestines, I highly recommend this place. There’s absolutely no gamey smell, and the meat is perfectly tenderized, giving it the right balance of chewiness and rich, savory flavor. This isn’t an all-you-can-eat spot, but the quality of the meat and service makes it more than worth it. I honestly think this is the best place in Orange County to truly appreciate high-quality K-BBQ!

Google
The beef is good and fresh, and the staff will help you to make sure the meat is perfect for you. They will ask you anything you need, waitress/waiter is friendly and nice. This is the first time I come and they have helped me with the order a lot, will recommend for come.

Google
Yes, this place is a little pricey but when you take your first bite from the side dishes like the dumplings or the corn with cheese to the meat. The quality and flavor is incredible. I've been to this spot a few times on special occasions and will hopefully be returning soon. The employees cook the meat for you and are very helpful. Clean environment and definitely recommend. The beef at this place is just something else. My Korean best friend is so picky about KBBQ and she was the one that recommended this place to me.

Google
First time at King Chang, and I can see why my Korean girlfriend loves this place. The lively ambiance, upbeat music, and attentive staff were definite highlights. Food: • Banchan: Great variety—Japchae noodles, broccoli, candied peanuts, fish jerky, salad, and bean sprouts were all solid. The kimchi, however, was pale and bland. • Couple Combo: My boyfriend and his daughter, who lived in Seoul for years and is quite picky, loved the pork belly but found the Galbi a bit too sweet. The soybean paste stew was good but not the best she’s had. • Seafood Pancake: Our favorite! Packed with seafood and perfectly crispy—if you love pancakes, this is a must-order. • Spicy Octopus Rice in Hot Stone Pot: Absolutely delicious! I wished for more octopus and less rice, but it was so good I happily took leftovers home. • Buckwheat Noodles in Chilled Broth: Served mid-meal, though it felt more like a dessert. It was okay but not something I’d reorder. • Corn Cheese: Simply delicious. Overall, we had an amazing experience. There’s a reason this spot is a favorite among K-pop and K-drama stars. Just a heads-up—you will leave smelling like KBBQ, so come prepared!

Yelp
This is my first time at King Chang and it was so good. For the price, you get a lot of meat and banchan. Also, everything is high quality. The service is really good as well. They are always at the table cooking for you, so you don't have to lift a finger. 10/10 experience and will be back again. I think this will my new go to spot.

Jason K.

Yelp
I visited King Chang with high expectations after hearing so many rave reviews about the restaurant. My main goal was to try their small intestine (gopchang), but unfortunately, it didn't live up to what I had hoped for. The quality was a bit lacking, and the smell made it difficult to enjoy. That said, the side dishes and other meats were absolutely amazing, so there are definitely highlights on their menu. Since my main reason for visiting was the gopchang, I left feeling a bit disappointed. I'll give it another try in the future and hope the experience improves. There's still potential here for a great meal!

Billy L.

Yelp
king chang delivers an unparalleled dining experience that perfectly balances tradition and innovation. the grilled intestines are not just a dish, they're a testament to the artistry of korean barbecue. the intestines are expertly prepared, the crispy exterior and tender interior offer a dynamic texture that's both satisfying and unforgettable. the seasoning enhances the natural flavor of the meat without overwhelming it, creating a perfectly calibrated bite every time personally, i like dipping my intestines in the spicy sauce or the salt or eating it with the banchan the service is good too, I feel like the staff is usually pretty nice and receptive to my requests and have good recommendations especially when I'm wanting to trying something new

Jose H.

Yelp
Good cuts of meats and friendly staff. But on the pricey side. Sorta industrial and loud space with plywood booths.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
This place is a local favorite, and known for their variety of intestines. It's really good! The intestines are made and served from the kitchen, which I appreciate because it doesn't make the grill all funky. We ordered the large intestines and it was SO good. Flavorful with excellent texture. However it was a little heavy due to how oily and fatty it was. The meats itself is cooked in front of you, we ordered the brisket and marinated galbi. It's pretty good but the quality of meats is subpar compared to other kbbq joints in the area. Overall great experience.

Barb B.

Yelp
Yum! Been trying to go here for some time but it's always quite packed for dinner. Finally got in at 2pm via Yelp check in. Ordered the beef tray. 3 different beef, brisket, short rib and marinated short ribs. Damn, last one was fire. Marinated meat was so tender. Reminds me of Baekjong ... good food, great service. $112 which included the tip but no drink.

John Y.

Yelp
Great experience. We tried Kanbu Combo with brisket, pork belly, and intestine combo. It also came with corn cheese, steamed egg, and soybean soup. Great service with friendly server. Server cooked the meat. To perfection. Highly recommend this place and will come back!

Sokna S.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Awesome selection, high quality meats. Can never go wrong with intestine and various others meats. Side dishes were top also. Meats were cooked to perfection, additional side of chilies! Between the kitchen, salad, corn cheese and intestines, damn what more can you ask for besides great company. Service: 5/5 Quick, attentive. The team is very nice and also cooks the meat for you. There's a constant movement of staff willing to help you out. People here are so quick. Ambiance: 5/5 Loving everything about this place. Spacious, restrooms were clean, tables are decent size. Fast environment but didn't seem smokey at all. Conclusion: Check this spot out of your into Korean bbq or intestine meats, they really do, do it the best. Located in Buena Park about 3 mins off the freeway. Excellent experience!!! Highly recommend!

Yelp
My husband and I got the small beef combo for the variety and sides it comes with (steamed egg, corn cheese, and soybean paste stew), and we were both very full by the end of the meal. To be honest, the brisket is just OK, nothing special. But the short rib and seasoned/marinated short rib were great. Their soybean paste stew is also flavorful, and I like the side dishes provided. At this restaurant, they cook the meats for you, and our server was attentive to our table and cooked it perfectly. I just really wish there was a way to do a combo set where you can mix intestines and regular cuts of meat, while still getting all the sides like steamed egg and soybean paste stew. I love large intestines but don't like small intestines, so I didn't get to try out their specialty. I think I would have had an even better experience had I been able to try the large intestine. Overall I think the small beef combo was like a 4/5 for me but the taste of the sides and great service brought it up to a 5 for me.

Tiffany M.

Yelp
I've been here once before and had an intestine craving so had to come back! The sets are pricey but I love that they have shin ramen as one of the soup options and they have it boiling at the table so the noodles don't overcook. The wait wasn't long at all and they preset the table with banchan and iced barley tea. The corn cheese was a little burnt and I feel like the intestine portion got smaller, but I would come back for intestine cravings

Dorothy R.

Yelp
Food is always so good and service is always attentive. It's easy for kbbq places to get pretty hectic and service spotty but I felt that they came over to our table more than enough even on a busy dinner night. If you get a large set, highly recommend getting the kalguksoo (although I don't know why but it's better during lunch than dinner. Dinner has extra seafood which I didn't prefer haha). Quality is always good and a solid bbq spot!

Rony Q.

Yelp
Came with a group of 3 in the evening and ordered a medium intestine combo! Portion is just enough and the quality is great! The server took care of us well and kept refilling our sides everytime we finished them.

Ashley K.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting and I can see why it's a local favorite. We got the couple combo and every cut of meat was such good quality and it was even better with the great service we were given. We also ordered cold noodles and raw beef tartare, both which are a MUST when coming here. They do have a couple dishes that aren't set at the table that are typically given at other kbbq places such as rice and kimchi, but you just have to ask for them. It was nice and clean inside which made me assume this place just recently opened but to my surprise the server said this has been around for a couple years! We came despite the heatwave and it was still fully packed so keep in mind there may be a long wait on weekends and plan accordingly! Can't wait to come back to try their intestine combo next time.

Sesang Y.

Yelp
Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Super efficient and good quality meat. you won't really wait in line because this place is huge, and they were really fast with sitting you down. The meat quality was really good, and I had a great time! Felt slightly rushed but it's just cuz they do business so well and they want to get to as many customers as quickly as possible!

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
King Chang in Buena Park is a gem for KBBQ lovers! Located in a convenient shopping center with plenty of parking, the restaurant boasts a modern, industrial atmosphere that feels both trendy and welcoming. The space is large, accommodating plenty of guests, but be sure to put your name on the waitlist as it can get busy. When you step inside, you're greeted by a wall adorned with autographs from numerous Korean stars, adding a unique and authentic vibe. The menu offers set items, and we opted for the large beef combo, which included beef brisket, short ribs, and marinated short ribs. Everything was incredibly delicious, flavorful, and of excellent quality. We were a party of five and the portions filled us up. The combo also came with an impressive variety of banchan, bean sprout salad, marinated onions, salad mix, egg soup, soybean paste stew, and corn cheese. The banchan was fresh and plentiful, perfectly complementing the meats. The service at King Chang is top-notch! The staff cooks for you, and our server was not only skilled at grilling the meat but also super friendly. The teamwork among the staff was evident, as they seamlessly refilled waters and side dishes without us needing to ask. They were always attentive and on top of everything. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a free soda! Overall, King Chang has quickly become one of my favorite KBBQ spots. The combination of delicious food, great service, and a cool atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I highly recommend checking it out!

Aaron M.

Yelp
This is my favorite kbbq for intestines! It's so flavorful, it's not gamey, and the portions are huge! The combo comes with a choice of 3 proteins, cream corn, ramen, steamed egg, and soup The staff here are so friendly and so accommodating. They definitely made the meal so much better. Our server, forgot his name, was super outgoing, made jokes and cooked our intestines very well! The kbbq is fairly sized and has plenty of seating. Every time I've been here, the wait was maximum 10 minutes. Tbh this location is better than their koreatown location.

Shirley B.

Yelp
Food: came here multiple times specifically for the large intestine, yum yum yum! And this time, my boyfriend and I had some workplace milestone to celebrate together hehe. The inside of each large intestine piece is so very fatty and juicy and melts in the mouth, while the outside is chewy and soy sauce marinated to perfection. The intestine plate comes out almost fully cooked, so I can dig in even faster haha Price: $75 for the large intestine plate, with complementary banchan, veggies on the side, fluffy eggs, stew, corn cheese, and rice. It seems expensive initially but worth the money! And the portion was so big, we had about 1/3 left over to take home after Ambiance: standard popping kbbq place, lots of tables inside, about 20? with 4 seats each. Not techincally a first date kinda place, but great to come with family or friends or loving partner to really indulge in those intestines haha Service: great, the waiter warmed up and cooked the meat thoroughly and efficiently for us, we didn't even have to touch the tongs or scissors once! They were all very nice and welcoming, no issues at all Parking: restaurant is located next to big korean Zion market, tons of parking space available

Derek T.

Yelp
If you like gorging on intestines then pay a visit to none other than King Chang. Sure, everyone says Gopchang in ktown but King Chang is better. There's a lot of options here but if you're craving intestines, then get the intestine combo. I'd double up on the large intestine then get one order of small intestine. They come cooked but the waiter will grill them to near perfection for you so sit back and relax. Large intestines were fatty deliciousness. Each bite is seasoned amazingly and I had to control myself from eating more than necessary. Small intestines were less savory but still pretty darn good. Each bite reminds me that humans will eat anything, but hey, intestines aren't the worst thing to eat. All the side dishes were incredible too. Steamed egg is fluffy, spicy stew is just right with the meat and veggies inside, and corn cheese? It's corn cheese, no complaints there. All the other banchan is just chef's kiss otherwise. I realize I didn't say anything negative about this place but that's because King Chang is king. No other gopchang place compares, yet.

Zinnia V.

Yelp
This place is good! Went with the small beef combo, the short ribs were yummy, unfortunately the brisket was kinda dry. We got the beef tartar but I didn't like it much when it first came out, it was still frozen so every bite was icy, but after letting it thaw it tasted better. I would say the large intestines was the best thing on the menu! The beef combo was a little underwhelming for the price. But I do like the banchan and the addition steamed egg and corn cheese. The ambience is very upbeat and fun. I would come back just for the large intestines only!

Cindy T.

Yelp
King Chang has been on my list to try and it definitely did not disappoint. I feel like a lot of times, at KBBQ places, it is a bit hard to get the attention of the servers. However, they were all so attentive! Place was clean, food was good, and service was great. I do not have too many complaints at all. FAVE ITEMS: - Beef Combo (small): the short ribs are must gets. Definitely such tender meat that tastes amazing. Pairs really well with the sauces and the ban chan is amazing! - Cold Noodles: pairs well with the meat. Do not miss out on the mustard and vinegar that they have on the side either. SERVICE: great, definitely the standout. The servers were all very attentive, I felt like I was asking for banchan left and right and thought they'd forget but they never did. PARKING: decent amount of parking in the plaza. PRICE: decent. It was $88 for a small combo which they recommended for 2 people but to be honest it was enough for the 4 in my party. I went with 3 other guys too! Overall, definitely would recommend this spot to people craving KBBQ in the area. It is NOT AYCE but I'd rather come to get high quality meat than stuff myself with mediocre meat.

Ruthy V.

Yelp
We got the small beef combo and it got a party of 3 pretty full. Their sides dishes were so good it filled us up too. I loved their steamed egg . Their brisket was ehh , it wasn't the greatest and very dry. Their boneless short rib was sooo good . It just melts in your mouth .

Jodie S.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best KBBQ restaurants I've been to. The parking situation is great as it's in a large plaza so there's plenty of parking. There's also a yelp WL you can join in advance, but in my experience it usually goes by quickly and we're able to get seated right away. We usually get the small combo for two people and honestly with all the sides we're stuffed every time. Their banchans are A+++ and I love that they change each time we come. Definitely recommend!

Brian C.

Yelp
This spot is a great spot to have quality a la cart kbbq. They have some of the best banchan out there for a kbbq restaurant. What I really enjoyed Was the fried kimbap side dish. With a table of 5 we had joined the waitlist about half a hour earlier prior to coming and we were able to be seated right away on a Saturday. Staff was quite attentive and nice. We had ordered a beef combo which was enough for the 5 of us to shared. If you are big eaters you may need more than this. I would recommend coming here if you want quality kbbq.

T.J. Y.

Yelp
Food, Service, ambiance was all perfect. Our favorite Korean BBQ place. Everything including the banchan was all delicious. Make sure you try the dongchimee gooksoo. Staff is very attentive and refills drinks and side dishes without asking. They have great teamwork to grill the food at your table. Awesome place!

Chris P.

Yelp
Amazing Food and Great Service!! Traditional Korean BBQ food with modern vibes. Large group seating available. We love going to celebrate birthday dinners. Highly recommend the beef and pork combos.

Rob L.

Yelp
They treat us extremely well, staff is on point, they grill all the meat for you and the meat quality is top notch.

steve k.

Yelp
Stopped with a large group and they were able to accommodate all of us in a timely matter. The food and service was top notch and will definitely be coming back.

Ryan L.

Yelp
King Chang is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Owner seems responsible and the staff is super nice and engages in conversation too. The restaurant specialty is in gopchang but they also do everything else well too. Couples combo is $80ish and is great to share; it comes with a mix of beef and pork cuts. When I'm in the area and it's convenient, I try to eat here!

Christine K.

Yelp
Still a solid 4. I think some ppl are confused...this place is known for their intestines combo but honestly their Daechang (large intestine) is the star. Not much their small intestine nor their makchang (abomasum). I always get 1 x gopchang (small int) + 2 daechang (large int) as my combo. Gotta get the combo if you want to "cook it more" on a grill on your table. Otherwise, ala cart will come separately already cooked in a dish. See my photo. Also they come already cooked even if you order the combo...you just get to cook it longer and have them on heat during the meal. For the beginners who want daechang, butterfly your pieces and it should be more tolerable for you. I do wish it can be a little less sweet. All the combos come with -egg and corn cheese. in LA you don't get corn cheese but you get a cheese fondue. -kimchi soup or soy bean paste soup and I think their soy bean paste soup is better (since most places are horrible in comparison). -banchans (unlimited side dishes) -some come with hot noods...they've been adding more combo variations so take a look. Tried both ramen and knife noodles and it wasn't all that complimentary to the bbq...you need cold noods for that. Now their beef is actually really good too. Sometimes I can't have all intestines bc most of my friends like beef so normally I order the beef combo + ala cart daechang bc that is how you end the kbbq night. I get the Med or Large beef combo with gotsal/ribeye cut meat, and joomulluk (slightly seasoned ribeye). Why do i not give it 5 stars? bc I feel like they need to deep clean the place and their air temperature needs to be more stable. I've been here 2 too many times where it was just way too hot and stuffy, which is gross. Need Ventilation. Workers are amazing and I like them all, which is really hard to say thesedays. They have alot more other offerings which I was able to try a few before during pandemic but it's a bit harder now that the tables are smaller and the place is just smaller in general. I miss outdoor seating. Also their ssamjang sucks so don't have that.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Been here a few times now and it's amazing every time. It is a busy Korea bbq spot so I suggest coming early. Absolutely love all the side dishes they offer as well as great quality and selection of meat. The staff helps you cook the meat also. This is a must try but I suggest wearing clothes you don't care to stink up.

William N.

Yelp
They have the best marinated Gal-be BBQ. Servers are very friendly. Strongly recommend

Joel S.

Yelp
Food was great, service was fantastic, and the alcohol was smooth. We came for a birthday, and King Chan mafmde it so special! Loved the fire sparkler!

Joyce M.

Yelp
this was such a good food experience, it is elevated Korean bbq at its finest and delicious!! I am so obsessed with those dumplings and rice balls everything we ordered was a 10/10 What we ordered Beef combo Brisket Prime boneless short rib Bulgogi Fried small intestines with french fries Fried dumpling with mozzarella cheese and extra hot spicy sauce Rice balls

Johanna T.

Yelp
This is my third time coming to this King Chang and it's the best quality meat and service that I've experienced. My Korean parents love this place too! The quality of the banchan (side dishes) is amazing (even my mom says so)! My favorite banchan is the pickled jalapeño/garlic. We normally go during lunch on Wednesday so it's usually easy to get seating. Even if you don't like intestine/gopchang, the meat, naengmyun, and dolsot bibimbap is what I come for! Staff is so nice! Our server Kevin/Jin always brought us the banchan we wanted even though he was busy with so many tables by himself. I don't know their names but the other staff we had last time were also so attentive and kind as well! Also eating keto here is doable. The sauces could be tough to get around but I try to get the non marinated meats. Definitely coming back here regularly!

Brock S.

Yelp
One of the best Korean bbq places I've had in a while. The meat is top quality...the sides are super tasty, and the meat is cooked to perfection for you at the table. The staff was friendly and attentive. The place was kind of basic and cool. I'll be back soon for sure

Ivan C.

Yelp
Best local kbbq! Service on point ! Food on point! Sides are always topped and they are very attentive ! Eun and Joe are great servers! Always our go too

Emi H.

Yelp
Hands down my go to place to satisfy my intestines cravings! We got the Medium Intestine Combo ($75) where we chose 2 types of intestines (large intestine and abomasum) and ramen. The combo also came with a side of steamed egg and corn cheese. Everything was well executed and the service was fast. The intestines came cooked and cut up so all we needed to do was let them crisp up on hot stone pot. The intestines were so flavorful, especially the large intestines which burst with rich buttery flavor in every bite! The abomasum was good too though it was a bit chewy. They were cooked alongside some onions which caramelized in all the juices and paired well with the intestines. The sides were also delicious - the steamed egg was light and fluffy and the corn had just the right amount of char with gooey cheesy goodness on top. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. For the price, this combo came with a lot of food and can probably feed 3 people. It also came with salad, marinated onions and spicy bean sprouts which helped balance out the richness of the intestines. I loved the variety of banchan they served. My favorites were the sweet potato mochi pancakes and bok choy, which I have not seen at other Korean restaurants. I will definitely come back for more of everything!

Eiden L.

Yelp
The service was fantastic--our server was super friendly. But paying $36 for just 25 pieces of large intestine? That's hard to justify. The flavor was decent, but the portion for the price was ridiculous. I understand prices are up, but this was way too much for what I got.

Connie B.

Yelp
Friends wanted to meet up for KBBQ, and I saw that King Chang was on the 2023 Yelp top 100 list for OC, so we decided to check it out! They have a live Yelp waiting list, and luckily even when we went on a Friday night at 7 it was less than a 5 minute wait. Service: At first our server was very attentive, asking us every couple minutes if we had decided on our order yet (we were pretty indecisive). After we put in our order and received our first round of food (the beef combo), we realized we didn't get the sodas or intestine we ordered. Our original server was nowhere to be found for several minutes, so we eventually asked a different server for help and got the rest of our order. After that, we were never checked on again, even when it was clear that we were done with our food - strange, because it wasn't busy at that time and many of the tables were already cleared (it was only 9 pm and they close at 11:30 PM on Fridays). Not sure what was going on there, but we eventually asked a worker bussing the table next to us for the check. Food: I enjoyed the brisket and bulgogi - the brisket was just the right amount of fatty, and the bulgogi was very flavorful. I particularly loved the knife-cut noodle soup - it was such a comforting soup for a cold evening! All the other food items were only okay for me. The intestine was too fatty and made my stomach hurt (though I liked the rice cakes that came with it), I thought the short rib and pork belly were too chewy, and the rice paper was a bit too hard and dried out. Overall: I was honestly a little disappointed by the food and service quality for a top 100 restaurant, and it was a little too pricey for my liking, especially compared to other KBBQ restaurants. I liked that the ambiance was fun and casual, and certainly great for meeting up with a large group of friends. So despite the overall food and service, it was still a fun experience being there and catching up with some old friends!

Yelp
Meat quality is excellent, the boneless short rib was the best with its juiciness and tenderness. The pork belly was tender and juicy with a sweetness I didn't expect to enjoy. The first combo on the menu fed 7 people nicely on our side of the table. Banchans were delicious but didn't get refilled. Service was friendly, but it seemed they were a little short staffed. we had to turn our own meat every so often to avoid burning. They were great about grill changes. Intestine combo was good, but the longer darker intestines were bitter. The round ones were the best kind and very fatty and juicy. The kimchi was excellent. I'll come back if friends or coworkers want to go, or if I want boneless short rib!

Yelp
Really great service, delicious food, and fair prices! We got a large beef set for 4 people and a spicy octopus rice stone pot. 2 of our friends weren't too hungry but the 4 of us still ate all the beef! We packed some of the octopus rice to go, which was freaking delicious! For the price, the beef quality was pretty good and we liked the later pieces more than the initial chadol (brisket). They cook for you but it was so smoky in there, they need some stronger vents!

Yelp
Found this place just randomly and was craving for some Korean food, I had intestine when I was in Busan and it was delicious!! So when i came across the place I was like I gotta have it!!! My gosh. So yummy The service and food are both amazing, try the intestines if you never had them, and order the meat on the side

Yelp
We went as a group of 7 and ordered 1 meat combo and 1 intestine combo which cost $50+/1 person. Their marinated beef is really good. The intestine tastes okay. The meat quality is great. The combo comes with lots of side dishes such as corn cheese, steamed eggs, noodles, and soup for "EVERY" combo. So be aware of that and not order too much food. The service is good as they will cook the meat for you. For the intestine combo, everything is cooked already so you can eat them as soon as they are served. I would recommend trying the intestine combo! The waiting is quite long which is expected from a good BBQ restaurant. Overall, was a good experience. You should try at least once!

Yelp
Felt inclined to add to my existing review because I've been here at least a handful of times since. By far the best Korean BBQ experience and I swear by it. Everything from the food and service remains consistent and high quality. My go to order is the small beef combo with the premium short rib (both regular and marinated) along with an order of the beef intestines which comes already cooked and is incredddible. For a restaurant that offers so many options without comprising quality and flavor is so rare. What's even better is their staff. They're incredibly attentive and never make me feel lame for asking for more sides. If you're looking for a place that offers exceptional food, quality and service - this is the place. They're the busiest in the evenings but I've never had to wait for more than 15 minutes when I go during lunch on the weekends or before rush hour on the weekdays.

Yelp
First time here and had a good experience. Arrived after 2200 and walked right in. Service was quick and friendly. We only wanted the large intestine and thought to order just that, but they convinced us to get the medium combo and just order all large intestines for the 3 options. So glad they did because 1 order would not have been enough. Love their "water". Not sure if it's barley tea and that's why it's brown-tinged? The booths are cute and u get dividers so it feels more intimate even though there are lots of people in other booths. They have Korean girl group music videos playing on the TV and blasting through the speakers so that was entertaining. Kinda wish it had subtitles but the music was fun and energetic, bringing good vibes to the place. Overall, good food, good service, good atmosphere, good times. Will come again.

Yelp
My local friend took me here when I was visiting LA. It was a popular restaurant that had people lined up during normal dinner time. But good thing that we got a table for 2 without waiting for too long. Parking was easy as there was a parking lot in the plaza. We ordered the meat combo which came with soup of choice (찌개 (고추장 or 된장) , steamed egg, and corn cheese. We also ordered fried small intestines. Side dishes were delicious including salad for eating healthy. We were more than full and satisfied. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient in serving and cooking for us. The environment was clean. A little loud as there were many people but I took that as a sign of being a popular Korean BBQ restaurant. Def will go back next time when I visit LA again!

Yelp
This is a Korean BBQ restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the basic side dishes are delicious and well prepared. The staff are quick and friendly. The prices have risen a lot, so Korean restaurants are expensive. We go here often because of the spacious and comfortable atmosphere to have a glass of soju with friends. It's my first time having Ilpum Soju, and although it's a bit pricey, it goes well with the food.

Yelp
Literally one of my favorite spot to get beef intestines. something about that marinade and it coming prepared, makes it super enjoyable. The staff was tentive and always there when we needed them. The restaurant sits in a plaza and loaded with parking, unlike their other location in ktown. Those that live in LA knows the struggle of parking. Not seating outdoors, but the inside in ventilated properly. Would definitely recommend to folks who like intestines. They also got other cut selections, so no worries if you're not into organs haha.
