Now we are talking. This is the best tonkatsu I ever had in LA. This is must stop. Highly recommend if you are craving for Tonkatsu. I will definitely coming back when I am LA again

Wow!! This hole-in-the-wall tonkatsu place nestled inside the grocery store (enter, then to your left) has the crispiest, most delicious tonkatsu I have ever had in my life, and I have lived in Japan and eaten in Tokyo. This is Korean style Tonkatsu, airy and crisp on the outside, juicy and delicious on the inside. This should be Michelin star ⭐️ quality! Shocking to find this restaurant in a hole-in-the-wall. Fish + Chicken was incredible!

Placed a pick up order, i ordered the fish cutlet, it was so delicious, Their portions are huge and you can easily have two meals out of it. Best tonkkatsu i ever had in La.

A hidden gem. Located inside the Korean shopping center, this restaurant offers a real treat. I ordered their chicken combo with chicken katsu and Korean chicken and it was very delicious. I really liked the Korean chicken. It is not overly sweet, yet moist and crunchy at the same time. Their portions are huge and you can easily have two meals out of it. What I like most is their food containers. They don’t use styrofoam food containers like most other places do. I had a pick-up-related issue. They accidentally gave my order to someone else but they quickly prepared a new one. The owners are extremely nice. I will definitely come back.

My favorite pork cutlet place!! Workers are so friendly too! Only downside would be that they don’t have many seats so I get it for take out, but regardless, still worth getting.

OMG!! This place is great and the manager that runs the business she’s so nice and friendly she keeps making me want to come more and more and the food is also good thats make more the reason to come and try this place!! Its inside the hannam chain market who would of thought it would be as good as it is. Once again the staff and this lady the best!!

No nonsense Katsu inside the Hannam Supermarket. Worth a visit if you're looking for a good bargain. Would recommend.

We ordered the 10 person catering this weekend and it was awesome! They gave pork katsu, chicken katsu, fish katsu, hamburg steak, rice, salad, and all the fixins in huge portions. Everyone loved the food and we still had so much left. I also love the way they packaged the food too. Everything was packaged so clean and it was so easy to serve and to clean up. I'll definitely be using them again.

Love the giant portions and the giant pieces of tonkatsu. The hamburg steak is delicious. I got the plate with tonkatsu, fish katsu, and hamburg steak. It was delicious and I loved the giant portion of cabbage salad the plate came with. Two people can share one of these mega plates.

ive lived in ktown for a long time & I've tried most (if not all) of the major donkatsu places. but seriously this place is the best in terms of taste, quality, and quantity of food! it's extremely affordable and honestly one combo plate is enough for two people. couldn't recommend this place enough + the owner is super nice :)

Because this place is clean, the food is delicious and the employees are extremely nice.

Great portions, Fast and Easy pickup at the front of grocery store and chef was super nice ! Food is super yummy , I really enjoy the side of cold noodles with banana peppers !

A small takeout counter tucked into a corner of the Hannam market. There's a plentiful parking lot, which is always appreciated in Koreatown. As soon as you enter, turn left and you'll see the large and colorful pictures of all their katsu combo offerings. $12.80 for all the large combos--there's various couplings of katsu chicken, pork, fish--which comes out to $14 even with tax. To echo everyone else, HUGE portions. Loved the chicken katsu (so juicy), pork katsu was average, and the Korean chicken was good but a bit too saucy for my taste. Price, quantity, and quality = can't be beat.

I do not blame the new owners for not honoring the buy 10 get the 11th free, please see picture, but it was short sighted and not getting the 11th free meal will make easier for me to eat healthier because now I will never go back!

the portions here are insane. tonight is my first time trying this place out and 10/10 will come back. the pork katsu is thin but not dry whatsoever and even after taking this to-go, everything is still crispy. we tried the pork and fish katsu, as well as the spicy fried chicken -- everything was great. super recommend!!

They were busy with a catering order. The Tonkatsu was on the dry side, the Hambak steak had cold cheese, and the sauce was overly salty. It used to be better in the past.

$15 for pork and chicken katsu combo! Steal! Went to the one in Hannam Chain market. Give it a try!

Got our order to-go on DoorDash and our food arrived super crispy and still warm! It was packaged nicely and came with tons of food - I couldn't finish it haha. One plate is probably enough for two people to share. It comes with your choice of protein, a hefty portion of rice, as well as cabbage salad and a scoop of mac salad. I enjoyed the fried fish more than the tonkatsu, but they were both good. My friend said he enjoyed the tonkatsu more than the fish so it's definitely up to your palate to decide what you enjoy more. I enjoyed the cabbage salad and mac salad, and the rice was perfectly fluffy. Overall it was a good meal.

This mama lady alone is beating the sh1t out of the inflation that Biden couldn't do. This is not a michelin winning food, but look at the portion and price. This thing is a monster.

Their dosirak boxes have a huge amount of food. my daughter and I got one to go and we shared. Their pork tonkatsu style is thin with an extra crunchy exterior. Prices are a steal here because they do so much volume. The taste, quality, and prices align. Keep this mind: it's good for the price (very affordable).

I got a take out order here today. There's a small table with a few chairs for dine in customers. I got a pork tonkatsu and chicken combo; and a fish katsu and chicken combo. The portions are massive. One combo is enough for two meals. The lady who works the counter is so hard working and sweet.

The lady working there is rude and service is bad. She lies to customers by saying "their card transaction is not working" and ask you to pay in cash. I got mine one dollar off for shopping at Hannam Market and she refused to stamp my card, which should be stamped each time I patronize the restaurant whether I had received discount or not.
