The Ultimate Guide to Dining in Cherry Creek

"A sibling of Quality Italian, this breezy slice of the Mediterranean in the Mile High City revels in the flavors of Greece, serving up such stunners as flaming kasseri cheese with toasted pumpkin seeds, calamari and artichokes with lemon aioli, wood-roasted fish of all kinds, and grilled lamb chops with smoked cherries and pine nuts; enhancing the vibe are Greek wines and evocative cocktails like the vodka-based Zephyr with pomegranate, fig, and orange blossom." - Ruth Tobias, Gigi Sukin, Eater Staff

Yes to the vibe and service, looks like an authentic Mediterranean restaurant. Now for the food, the imported fish is definitely overpriced, we paid $85 for a whole fish for two. Tasty but nothing extraordinary. Salad and asparagus were good but the fries were bland and had a hard layer to chew on. Dessert was Greek yoghurt with honey and lemon, pretty tasty.

Came here for an anniversary dinner and had an amazing experience! The host staff gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate. The service was wonderful and attentive. We ordered the Chefs Menu and tried a little bit of everything, the portions were very generous for 2 people. All the food was delicious. Will be back!

Such a great spot. Decor matches the theme of the restaurant. Service was phenomenal and the staff were very attentive to everything going on around to ensure all patrons had a great experience. Great recommendations from our server. Highly recommend the Endless Spritz for a boozy brunch.

Came here on a Thursday night while in town with some friends and this new spot was buzzing. It’s perfect for group dinners. Nice decor and interiors with swanky vibes. Cuisine was Greek and more of Mediterranean actually. Food quality and cooking were both good, presentation was decent. Service was excellent and our waitress was helpful and friendly. Cocktails were good and they have Ouzo as well if you are a fan. The Dover Sole was the highlight of the food for me, you rarely find Sole on a menu in the US. Definitely worth considering in the Cherry Creek area.

Four words: tomahawk ribsteak for Two. Holy moly of all things delicious and wonderful, was that tomahawk AMAZING BEYOND ALL WORDS! Absolutely everything about it was indescribable. I love the rosemary garnish, the balsamic sauce on the side, and the salt that you can dip in. I finished eating the meat off the bone at home. The galacian octopus was a nice appetizer. Brussels sprouts was also delish as well. The sides are shareables. But man.... That tomahawk. Go there for that! I loved the board it was served on too. If I could purchase that, I absolutely would!

Came with a friend and we did did the tasting menu for $65/pp, a great value, and so freakin delicious. The salmon and steak were cooked to absolute perfection. Service from our waiter was also on point. Highly recommend.

Google
This our second time at Kini’s and we genuinely love this place @kinisdenver It’s located inside Clayton Hotel in Cherry Creek, Denver. The cuisine is a fusion of Greek and Mediterranean. I am usually very picky about Mediterranean food and fusion restaurants, but Kini’s has it on point. Food is very tasty and rich. My favorite is the whipped goat cheese side. First time we went there, we ordered lamb chops and the dish was phenomenal. The presentation of food is very well put together. Their warm pretty clay plates are an extra cherry on the top. Their cocktails are pretty good! Loved the vibe and the music playlist. Kini’s service team is very good and meets the standards of a fine dining experience. Prices are reasonable for a place like this. Great spot and highly recommended!

Google
Kini’s had great vibes, great service, and great cocktails. The bottomless spritz for $20 was a great deal. The brunch dips were all delicious. I had higher expectations for the egg bake and fried chicken. Brussel sprouts were yummy! Cute spot for a girls morning brunch.

Yelp
Not the best service. I went here with a friend for Denver Restaurant Week. It was the last day and I just happened to find a reservation :) We went out to celebrate my friends birthday. There is a lot of street parking but make sure you read the signs. This restaurant can be found inside the Clayton Hotel. We were seated right away :) They handed us regular menus so I asked if they were still participating in restaurant week and our waiter said, "Yep. For the next four hours." He then grabbed two different menus, handed them to us, and walked away. We thought that was a little strange but they were busy so we let it go. When he returned, 15 minutes later, he took down our order for all three courses. I thought this was very efficient! Thinking we would get our food quickly and back to back :) I was wrong :( After he took our order, the appetizers didn't come out for 30 minutes. I thought that was a little strange for meatballs and salad but didn't say anything. It took another 45 minutes for the entrees to come out. My friend noticed chicken and a kabob were just sitting on the station ready to be served but kept getting over looked. We didn't want to assume that was our food just in case it was for a larger parties order so we stayed quite. But when they finally brought it over, it was the food we were looking the whole time. Because of this, the temperature of the food was ok. It wasn't until we finished our food that the waiter came back over asking how everything was. I thought they are suppose to come while you are still eating but I could be wrong. He then cleared our plates and we waited for the dessert. This took about 15 minutes. For two little desserts off a set menu I thought this was strange. When the bill was brought to us, I noticed a price discrepancy on the bill and brought it to our waiter's attention. He said it was a typing error when the menus first got printed and said he would have to get a manager to approve the price difference. He seemed annoyed about this. Over all, the flavor of the food was good but the service could have been a little better. If they were behind/short staffed in the kitchen, some communication would have been appreciated and understandable. But since that was not the case we were left to think our waiter was having a bad day.

Yelp
Went back for Mother's Day brunch since Kini's no longer offers brunch except for special days. They no longer have bottomless spritzes but their cocktail and wine menu has plenty of options. In addition to their regular dinner offerings, they had a nice selection of special breakfast dishes for Mother's Day. Even though the restaurant was full, the host was and service from our bartender was friendly and informative. The Yacht Water (their version of a ranch water) was a spicy blend of reposado tequila, poblano pepper, and club soda. The cured lemon Caesar was full of flavor with little gem and fresh shaved Parmesan. The Mediterranean Branzino was enough for 2 and had a bright salsa verde that complimented the fish. Overall, another great experience.

Yelp
Came here while visiting from LA based off a video recommendation from celebrity Matt James and it lived up to the hype!! We came with a group of 4 and shared a ton of stuff. For the dips, we got the Beet Muhammara, Whipped Goat Cheese, Ember Roasted Eggplant, & Avocado Dill. As someone who isn't a huge goat cheese fan, this was a lot more mild and ended up being sooo tasty. The only dip I would pass on next time is the Avocado Dill, because it was essentially just guacamole. It was good, but nothing unique. The Casio e Pepe Orzo, Spanakopita Manti, & Kini's Meatballs are absolute must-orders!!! Every single thing about both these dishes had our mouths watering. Soooo decadent, delicious, and rich in flavor. The Flaming Kayseri Cheese was a fun dish to order and very tasty, but not our favorite of the group. I will say, it definitely tasted like there was still alcohol on top.

Yelp
Very beautiful, modern, warm, and luxurious vibe. Great service. Amazing food. We tried the restaurant week menu. Got the meatball and calamari for 1st. Filet mignon and Mediterranean branzino for 2nd course. Frozen yogurt and sticky toffee for 3rd. Strongly recommend thr branzino and filet mignon. Frozen yogurt with olive oil is a must have!!

Yelp
What a fun spot in Cherry Creek! I already I knew I loved Quality Italian, so I was excited to check this place out when I heard it was the same folks. The interior was lush with greenery making it feel like an outdoor patio somewhere in the Med. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and able to answer questions about the menu, wines, and cocktails. We opted for the Restaurant Week menu and added some oysters as well. The oysters were amazing and the mignonette was perfection. The calamari and artichoke was just meh while the meatballs were incredible. For mains we got the branzino and the filet, both of which were cooked very well and delicious. Honestly, the deserts didn't do it for me, but I'm also not a huge dessert person. Overall, would love to come back and order off the regular menu next time!

Yelp
Kini's is a great choice for Mediterranean food in the cherry creek area. I walked in the wrong door by accident but the bartender was so sweet and walked me to the front, checked me in and got me sat. You'll enter through the hotel and take a right. My friend and I got what ended up being way too much for two people but everything was tasty. We were there during brunch/lunch time and got the dip tower, shakshuka, tomato salad, brussels, fries and bacon. I'd say the dip appetizer is what stood out the most I was so happily impressed by the flavors and the crudite. I would skip on the bacon side next time. I had to get back to work or I would have LOVED to try the cocktails. I would almost be willing to come here in the evening just to get apps and drinks for a night out. The restaurant had a fashionable vibe and it always looks like it's packed.

Yelp
Next month this restaurant is going to turn one year old! They serve absolutely delicious and light Mediterranean dishes. Named after a coastal town in Greece. They specialize in outstanding seafood dishes. What's featured today is a little bit of that and more! HAMACHI- as fresh & delicious as you can get it! Love this! Hibiscus, Raspberries, Almonds GALICIAN OCTOPUS being so in love with grilled octopus, I'm thrilled to say that I loved this! Hummus, Bell Peppers KINI'S MEATBALLS Date Molasses, Yogurt, Walnuts FLAMING KASSERI CHEESE-so yummy and dramatic! Ouzo, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds ARTICHOKES & CALAMARI Black Olive Aioli Lemon Herb Cottage Fries. The shape of this fries is delightful. It's pillowy but with crunchy sides. DOVER SOLE MEUNIERE Lemon, Capers I love this! But I love the kebab too! FILET MIGNON AU POIVRE KEBAB Greek Peppercorn Blend STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. Sinful! It's pudding in toffee heaven topped with goats milk caramel??! You just have to try this! Goat's Milk Caramel, Toasted Pecans

Yelp
Went to Kini's for the first time for a friend's birthday dinner and everything was great. The restaurant is super cute and I was loving the ambiance. The menu isn't too big which is kind of nice. Everything sounded so good it was hard to choose. The calamari and artichokes were good, not amazing. The vine ripe tomato salad was phenomenal. That alone will bring me back. My friend got the roasted lobster pasta and everyone loved it. My two other friends shared the branzino and we were all surprised by how small it was. They said it was good but not mind blowing. I was boring and got the Caesar salad and asparagus. Hard to miss on those. Overall, I will definitely return because there's so many other things I want to try.

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant and beautiful bar top! Tomato salad: fresh variety of tomatoes & cucumber. Also who doesn't love a whole block of feta Steak skewer: this stole the show. It's a must order! Highly recommend having it medium rare Brussel sprouts: crispy & topped with honey for my sweet and salty lovers Yacht water: refreshing tequila cocktail to go with the tomato salad Our bartender was amazing and made us a delicious mezcal drink to try 10/10 experience

Yelp
Given this is a part of the Quality Italian group, I had really high expectations, as they always seem to deliver excellent results. Unfortunately, here it didn't stack up. We came for brunch and I admittedly messed up the brunch reservation. I understand that this was my mistake, but the hostess was super weird about us sitting at the bar when there were multiple seats available. We got the dip appetizer, which was excellent. I didn't have a favorite dip because they were all so good and hit different flavor notes. The fried chicken was good, but not great - it definitely needed something creamy to balance it out. I also wish they had the same Bellini concentrates as their sister Quality Italian. On the plus side, the restaurant is bright and light, giving it a nice open feel. It's worth checking out, but not necessarily returning, as I feel like there are better options in Cherry Creek.

Yelp
The hubs and I came with a small group of friends to catch up. We opted to order a number of items to share. I started with the cherry Crete which had too much of the mastic flavor for my personal taste. -The hummus was so good and I liked the lettuce leaves that were a nice change up with hummus accompaniments. -whipped goat cheese - fave of the table -tomato salad - the tomato and peppers were really good and our friends liked the feta - meatballs - packed with flavor - artichoke and calamari - the crust was really good, calamari was over cooked but the crust made up for it - hamachi - magic, just get it - roasted spring chicken - the flavor in this had us picking off the bone - lemon cottage fries - perfectly crispy but soft and creamy on the inside. I could have eaten this whole plate on my own Service was attentive, almost a little too much but friendly.

Yelp
What a fun place for after work social! We stopped by Kini's for its tapas. Situated on the ground floor of a hotel in Cherry Creek, it's walking distance from the nearby shopping mall. Friendly hostess seated us at the bar within minutes. Many cocktail choices, we ordered Golden Negroni, White Sangria, and Zephyr. Yum! For dinner, we ordered roasted eggplant, flaming cheese, and octopus. When menu offers octopus, always order octopus! It does not disappoint. Nicely charred tender pieces, we could not get enough. Love Kini's ambiance and casual setting. It's worth the visit!

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful the waitstaff was very friendly the espresso martini was great, the food was a bit overpriced for what we got. I got the sashuska - which I was always curious to try and did not like at all. It's just a personal preference it's a bit too much garlic and onion for me. My guest got the skinny eggs and she said was ok. They come in little skillets for about $17-20. I would say just getting that you'd probably still be hungry. We got the calamari to start which was $28 - seems like a steep price and it wasn't spectacular in anyway. Next I got the tomato and feta salad which is HUGE like 3-4 people can split was good I believe like $18. Overall I was curious to try and just wasn't blow away.

Yelp
I was looking forward to this dinner and it was very underwhelming considering the expense of the meal and poor service. We made reservations for restaurant week, and had to wait at the empty host stand for about 8 minutes before the host came. A server greeted us and acknowledged our reservation but didn't make moves to seat us or grab the host. When we finally sat, we had to ask for the restaurant week menu. It gave the impression that they were hiding it, hoping we would just order off of the regular menu, and it felt weird. Why participate if you don't want to advertise it? Other dining week restaurants are proud to announce the special menu and explain everything about it. I got the impression our sever was annoyed with us even asking about dining week. The food was mediocre. Meatball appetizer was ok. Entrees don't come with sides or even a few vegetables, so you need to order that separately. We got the charred Brussels sprouts with honey and it was awful. It needed salt (no salt shakers at the table) as well as something bright like lemon, goat cheese, or pomegranate. I make better Brussels sprouts at home. I did enjoy the desserts - pot de creme and frozen yogurt. The pot de creme was a chocolate raspberry mousse and the frozen yogurt was frozen Greek yogurt with a lemon granita. One dessert option was a nightcap cocktail at a neighboring bar, which would have been my preference, but the bar was closed. I'm not sure why they didn't offer a cocktail at the restaurant we were at since they had a full bar. That was weird. The interior was fine- most of the beautiful plants you see on instagram are fake foliage. The whole experience was strange, and I was ready to leave after entrees. Based on the restaurant week tasting menu and how we were treated, I have little interest to come back and try more.

Jenna P.

Yelp
I'd say overall it was okay. The food was good but overpriced in my opinion. My biggest problem was that they packed in so many tables and it was hard to walk around. I was seated at a chair in an aisle near the kitchen and bathroom and constantly had wait staff and patrons hitting my head while passing by. It was hard to focus on my conversations and food while constantly being aware and nervous of people passing by and hitting me.

Yelp
We were very excited to try Kini's and finally secured a weeknight reservation. Located in Cherry Creek, Kini's is a Greek inspired restaurant that had a trendy vibe. To start, we tried the spanakopita which was a flaky, tasty bite accompanied with a tomato sauce. We also had the ember roasted eggplant dip that has the most delicious, salty, soft, and warm pita bread. Waiting for service took a while at this point. Our appetizers took forever to come out and when they finally came, two of us did not have table settings to eat it with. It was difficult to flag down our waiter. For entrees, four of us shared the grape leaf wrapped sea bass and the Moroccan fried chicken. For the sides, we tried the lemon herb cottage fries, the cacio e pepe orzo, and the wood roasted broccoli. It was plenty of food for four people. Both the fish and chicken were incredible. The fish was steamed in grape leaves creating a tender sea bass filet. The fried chicken was very crispy and packed full of Moroccan spices. I definitely recommend the orzo. It was cheesy and creamy with plenty of black pepper flavor. The food here is great, but next time I return I think I will ask to sit at the bar. The bar seemed to have a fun atmosphere and we won't have to worry about flagging down our waiter for plates and utensils. Overall, this is a great spot for an upscale, yet modern, date night.

Yelp
Everything we had was amazing. Great service and a fun ambiance as well. Don't think about it, just go. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Wanted to try this place out for my birthday. Made reservations and we completely spaced that it was restaurant week. But I don't mind sampling the menu. But I hated how this place was crazy busy for a weeknight. valet was too full to take our car which put me in a bad mood. Valet should of took my car and hold onto it- people do leave. So I couldn't find parking, because finding a meter in cherry creek is hell. When entering, we were greeted right away. The ambiance was nice and dark. A nice place for date night or a girls night out. After being late, the table was ordering their second drink while I'm trying to get my first. Not sure what took so long but our drinks didn't come til mid entree. That was not acceptable. Our server I understand was busy but not as attentive or noticed our drinks too so long. Now for the food the whipped goat cheese and sticky toffe was the best thing. I do not recommend the meatball- it was not what I expected. The filet was a favorite and recommended over the branzino- I couldn't eat it because my steak was over cooked, when asked for med rare. As for everything thing else the calamari, brussel sprouts and fries- nothing special. From this experience I don't think I would come back.

Yelp
I've admittedly eaten here a couple times in rapid succession, and it's been awesome both times. I love greek wine, so I've gotten Assyrtiko to start both times. We've tried the tomato salad, spanakopita, meatballs, flaming cheese, and octopus. All amazing though the tomato salad is super addicting and both times we've not left a crumb as it's so refreshing and simple. We also tried the hamachi last time which was fun with the raspberry. We've gotten fish by the pound both times, as is their specialty, red snapper the first time, black sea bass the second. Super fresh, well prepared and delicious. We got lamb chops both times, and both times devoured. If I'm honest, the two items I love most are the sticky toffee pudding (my favorite dessert. hard stop) and their kumquat-cello, which is genius! Staff is always friendly!

Yelp
2.5 My partner and I dined here on a Tuesday evening (1930 reservation time). Overall this restaurant was subpar. Where the quality of food, high price, and ambience lacked; the wonderful service made up for. Pros: lamb chops and cherry relish reduction was amazing Wonderful, quick, kind and professional service. Strong alcoholic beverages Cons: Fish was very poor. Ambience was 1/5 very crowded, small, and loud. Definitely not for an intimate occasion. VERY pricy. Total cost was $240 with 20% tip.

Yelp
We enjoyed this restaurant! The service was really good with a very friendly server and lots of other helpful staff. We made a reservation and I would recommend that as it was very busy. The menu was full of some nice options including fish, beef and chicken + veggie options. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, fish by the pound and the beef! All were very good. The beef would have been enough for 2 people! Good menu selection, nice atmosphere and good energy overall! Will be back

Yelp
I rarely offer a five star rating... but if I could, I'd give Kini's six stars, I would!! Incredible service, ambience, and food. They really checked every box! While it's a bit pricey, it's worth every penny. This is one of the best meals I've had in Denver and years!! Unfortunately, it was a little too dark for me to take pictures, But I'll come back and add some after I visit again.

Yelp
Opa! Our very own slice of the Med has opened in Cherry Creek - Kini's is a new restaurant featuring light, Greek island dishes, wines & Mediterranean-inspired cocktails. We arrived at Kini's and were seated in the main dining room. The restaurant's aesthetic was that of a Greek coastal town with white wisteria blooms, light woods, blues & an overall warm ambiance. The Kini's staff was professional and eager to serve each customer that walked into the restaurant. Our waiter, Mason was fabulous. He led us through our meal with stellar recommendations & attentive service. We started off our meal with cocktails. I had the Yacht Water. The Yacht Water was made with Epsilon Reposado, Poblano Pepper, Club Soda & Spicy Salt. I loved this cocktail! The Epsilon Reposado was nicely balanced in agave and citrus while the poblano pepper added some heat. The club soda added carbonation & the salt tajin rim had a nice kick. I easily downed two Yacht Waters and will certainly be having more my next visit. Kenzy & Hannah had the Cherry Crete. The Cherry Crete was made with Maker's Mark, Mastiha, Cherry & Lemon. The Cherry Crete was vibrant on the nose with aromas of ripe cherries and Mastiha pine. The cocktail had a luxurious texture of brandied fruit, caramel and vanilla. Ally had a cucumber mocktail that was super refreshing. For Appetizers we had the 5 Assorted Dips, Flaming Kasseri Cheese, Kusshi Oysters, Yellowfin Tuna & the Fattoush Chopped Salad. The 5 Assorted Dips included Chickpea, Whipped Goat Cheese, Beet Muhammara, Ember Roasted Eggplant & Avocado Dill. The Dips were served with Crudités & Flatbread. Our favorite dip out of the 5 was the Whipped Goat Cheese. The Whipped Goat Cheese had saffron apricots on top. The fluffy whipped goat cheese was slightly acidic and went well with the apricot's sweet taste. Our second favorite was the Avocado Dill. The Avocado Dill had toasted pine nuts on top and was reminiscent of pesto. The creamy avocado mixed with the unique flavor of dill resulted in a sweet, slightly sour taste that finished into a clean herb flavor. The Flaming Kasseri Cheese was made with Ouzo & Toasted Pumpkin Seeds. This Greek cheese appetizer was flambéed tableside which we loved. The cheese itself was mild and slightly salty. The shot of ouzo added a nice vinegar flavor to the cheese. The Flaming Kasseri was absolutely delicious and my favorite appetizer of the night. The Kusshi Oysters were served with Barberry Mignonette. The Kusshi Oysters were mildly briny with a delicate fruity finish - fresh AF. The Yellowfin Tuna was made with Saffron & Currants. The Yellowfin Tuna was bursting with color, flavor & texture. The Fattoush Chopped Salad was made with Red Cabbage, Apples & Candied Pecans. The Fattoush Chopped Salad was assertive & refreshing with its vegetal notes accentuated by the acidity of the red cabbage & sweet apples. For Mains we had the Filet Mignon Au Poivre Kebab and the Grape Leaf Wrapped Sea Bass. The Filet Mignon Au Poivre Kebab was made with Greek Peppercorn Blend. The sautéed filet kebab was medium-rare perfection. The meat was oh so tender and coated in a Greek peppercorn blend that gave the meat a thin crust full of flavor. The pepper was bright but not overpoweringly peppery. 10/10 The Grape Leaf Wrapped Sea Bass was made with Tomato & Preserved Lemon & Kalamata Olives. The presentation of the sea bass wrapped in grape leaves was thoroughly Mediterranean and we loved it. The Sea Bass was presented to our table and then the grape leaves were delicately pulled aside so olive oil could be drizzled atop. The Sea Bass was mild in flavor and rich in fatty oils that were infused into the fish by the grape leaves. This is a main meant for two people & was easily shared amongst the four of us. For dessert we had the Sticky Toffee Pudding. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was so good; the cake-like pudding was super moist and drenched in dark, rich, sticky toffee sauce. We had Greek dessert wine paired with the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Kini's is now one of my fav spots in Denver!

Benoit G.

Yelp
Pretentious, overpriced and disappointing meals. When we tried to order most of fish meals were sold out at 6:30p and the wine we picked was also sold out. Should I mention that a couple of appetizers we picked were not available? Also when you order a $60+ entree you expect a recommended side to go well with it. No recommendations but a steep price you have to pay on top of the $60+. I'm sure this restaurant concept will work perfectly for tourists who probably won't come back in our city not for Denverites.

Yelp
Came to Kini's last night with my chef boyfriend and my very difficult to please parents and everyone was beyond impressed! I wish I had taken more pictures but everything got devoured the moment it touched the table. We tried a little bit of everything but my standouts were the Tomato Salad, the Octopus, the Oysters, the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the greek Frozen Yogurt. However, everyone has their own varying favorites. The octopus was served with hummus which kind of threw me off seeing it on the menu, but the dish itself was bright and balanced. The octopus was tender and juicy. The tomato salad was beautiful - had a variety of colorful tomato's and some additional veg and a was topped with a thick piece of feta. there were also little peppers that added a nice zing. The oysters were Kusshi oysters which I generally find are usually pretty small but these ones were quite meaty and you get 6 in an order. The barberry mignonette was sweet and paired really nicely with them - especially with the little cilantro on top. I kind of wished there was a little additional acid and/or a touch of spice but regardless I thoroughly enjoyed them. We also got the Tomahawk for 2 and it was a very large portion and was sliced to share easily. We considered getting the red snapper but thought 4 and a half pounds would be a bit daunting for 4 - I would definitely like to try it if we get a chance to go back. Finally the dessert cannot be missed. Both the sticky toffee pudding and the frozen greek yogurt were some of the best desserts I have had. The sticky toffee pudding was decedent and moist and practically had us licking the plate. If you're not a huge fan of sweets opt for the Greek Yogurt. It was incredibly creamy and a bit tart from the lemon granita. It was also finished with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt, but was still just sweet enough for the perfect balance. I felt like everything we ordered had very reasonable portion sizes for the price, and you could taste the attention to detail that went into every dish.

Yelp
Great food. Great Team. We had a reservation and understandably they were understaffed, so we're backed up. We weren't in a rush and really enjoyed the ambience the food, and the service. The team apologized over and over again, and made our meal a really wonderful experience and not to say that the food wasn't incredible, because it was wonderful, but the service even with the wait was on par and it's clear they care. Will return and I absolutely recommend.

Yelp
This place hit the spot with great food and service. They are new, and our waiter was quite knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. They also did a great job at presenting the good. The chickpea with black garlic was basically hummus and the whipped goat cheese with apricots were delicious on the crudité and rosemary flatbread. The spanakopita mania are basically spanakopita in a fried wonton which was also a great starter. We also recommend the branzino which was seasoned perfectly and had a crispy skin which is always a plus for me. The filet mignon kebabs was also cooked perfectly and was also a great main. For dessert, the lemon granita along with the Greek yogurt ice cream was a great ending. It was tart, sweet, creamy and so delicious. I would recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
Ambiance of this place was a great hangout spot or a nice night out on the town. Our waiter Brian was exceptional and was super thorough and patient when we had questions. The chicken dish for two was good and the harissa honey was incredible. The meatball appetizer was solid but nothing out of this world. Overall I would recommend but I wouldn't come back due to pricing. It is very expensive.

Yelp
One of my favorites! Kini's in Denver is a culinary gem that elevates mediterannean/middle eastern foor. The Filet Skewer steals the spotlight with its perfectly grilled tenderness and the chimichurri sauce. Paired with an array of delectable dips (we love the eggplant dip) and set against an elegant ambience, Kini's promises a dining experience that seamlessly marries sophistication with exquisite flavors. Service is also excellent!

Yelp
Tonight is Friends & Family dinner for their soft pre-opening! I can't believe I got so caught up in dinner and the company that I forgot to snap a photo of my entrée. We shared all 5 of their dips offered. I also enjoyed their raw oysters dish (6 oysters to the order). I had The Zephyr cocktail and shared a bottle of wine with a friend after speaking with sommelier Chris. My favorite red wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon, Stag's Leap, but the wine menu for this restaurant has been tailored to their Mediterranean flavors. Chris was able to consider my wine preferences and those my friend enjoys, and he recommended two. We chose a Spanish red from those recommendations, and it was delicious! Mason did a great job tending to our table, carrying away dishes, checking cocktails, topping off water. He explained the menu and elaborated on flavors when asked. It was a really enjoyable dinner overall, and the company helped heighten the experience. For dessert I enjoyed the toffee pudding a la mode. Sooo scrumptious. Husband's serving of toffee pudding sans a la mode had a bit of cumin that somehow entered the pudding, so that left a bad taste in his mouth for a bit, and the Fattoush Chopped didn't get rave reviews from the table, but overall, it was a rather lovely meal.

Yelp
The space is designed really well and has a nice vibe to it. It's for sure "a place to be seen," in Cherry Creek. They do have valet as an option of that's your thing. But the experience we had on Friday during restaurant week left so much to be desired. Starting with the hostess saying she couldn't seat us until our reservation time, which was we were 3 minutes early for. She also interrogated some folks about if they were only drinking, eating off the regular menu or doing restaurant week. Wasn't very inviting before even stepping into the restaurant. The food we had was all below par unfortunately. Meat ball appetizer has a soft texture and the sauce on the meat itself wasn't developed, wouldn't recommend. The Calamari and artichokes were better, dipping sauce was good. But the entrees is where we took a nose dive. The steak kebabs was maybe a 6 oz portion and came out well (weren't ask for a temp preference anyways). The Korean fried chicken left so much to be desired. The breading was crunchy but comparable to a fast food restaurant. Then the fish Bronzino was a small portion for a fish dish, like 6 oz maybe. But we did rebound on dessert. The sticky toffee was out of this world. Service was great, but for $80 with tip, I will not be returning.

Yelp
Quite possibly my new favorite restaurant in Cherry Creek. We had a birthday dinner here the other night and the food and service was great. We had not heard of Kini's and didn't have high expectations but we ended up loving it. We had the lobster pasta which is a whole main lobster with a housemade pasta with a really good sauce. We also had the grilled octopus and it was one of the best preparations I have ever had. It was cooked perfectly. Everything else was great as well and we are already planning to go back this week for another dinner.

Yelp
Checked out this place after seeing a TikTok and we are so glad we did! The place is super cute and the food is really good! To start, we did the endless spritzes. Our favorite was the strawberry mixed with the citrus and the passionfruit. They were light and preferable to the typical mimosas because they didn't feel as sugary! For food, we started with the whipped goat cheese which was delicious! For the main, we got the Brussel sprouts and shakshuka. The two went together perfectly and I highly recommend trying both! We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
Kinis was fantastic!! We enjoyed some calamari (not pictured) and artichoke and the pairing was delicious. The rest of the food was delicious as well. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and the combination of flavors with the tuna was perfect.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for date night recently, and we had an adequate meal. That being said, we're on the fence about coming back because certain parts of the experience were very lackluster for the price point. For those who want to check this place out, I'd recommend the Kusshi oysters, the chickpea with black garlic oil, and the filet mignon. The filet mignon was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the highlight of the meal. We specifically asked our waiter for a suggestion on an additional entree AFTER we placed the order for the filet mignon, and he suggested the snapper with the spicy green zhoug sauce. The snapper was an itty bitty piece, and the worst part was that the waiter suggested the SAME sauce that was on the filet mignon we already ordered. Yikes! Who does that?! Too bad for us we didn't find out until after our food arrived. Our water glasses also went most of the meal without being refilled, until we were almost done with our meal. Dessert was something that was chocolate and tart with ice cream on top; it was fine. Restaurant decor is Instagram-able, if that worth a price premium despite hit-or-miss food and service.

Yelp
I would have given them 5 stars if the service wasn't so lack luster. The food and ambiance were spectacular. I could eat the feta and tomato salad everyday and still not get sick of it. The decorations were beautiful and the chairs were really comfortable. Service was awful. We're in Cherry Creek. We're paying big money each and every time we come out to eat...you have to be more hospitable and more attentive. We waited to pay for over 20 minutes after we were done. Just not acceptable. Just wish we had better service.

Yelp
First place in Denver that had bad service and the food was underwhelming and overpriced. We reserved the bar, and thought it would be more fun and social. It's in a hotel so you get the tourist crowd here, some obnoxious people as well. It felt more suburban being in Cherry Creek. The bartenders working the bar just couldn't keep up with the people and were mostly making cocktails for the restaurant. It took us almost 10 minutes to get water, we had to ask for them to take our order, for more water and for a glass of wine. This is not the norm in Denver since we moved. Usually, service is attentive, friendly, and professional. The food: The oysters had toppings that overpowered the pure taste of the sea. I wish those things were on the side. The hamachi was nice, and great balance to the flavors. The spanakopita was a mess, it was mushy and not the traditional preparation. The entrees: Branzino was nice, but I prefer the whole fish presentation. It came with nothing so you had to order sides. The snapper was dry and if they weren't so slow, I would have sent it back. Each of these dishes was $44, not worth it. We got brussel sprouts for the side, they were nice, but the sweetness was not a great pairing for the fish.

Yelp
Great lively ambiance, fresh and colorful food, but it won't blow you away. Kini's is absolutely one of the better restaurants in Denver, but it's not one of the best. If you're into mediterranean food, you'll like this fancy take on it, but you won't fall in love with it. I loved that the food was generally light and healthier, even when the portions were good sized. It's not cheap--the look and feel of the restaurant is great for a fancier date or nice bday meal with friends. Because of the price point, this isn't a place you'll go to regularly, but that's ok! Sometimes, you have friends who like things a little more upscale, and Kini's will definitely check that off compared to your neighborhood Greek place. Especially in Denver, sometimes you just want to switch things up, and Kini's is a great way to do that with dateworthy vibes all around.

Yelp
Have been here on numerous occasions with different groups of Friends and it has always been a pleasant experience. Taylor is our favorite server- she's sweet and attentive. The drinks are fabulous and the food is good. The restaurant is very cute. We'll be back!

Yelp
Very cute restaurant in Cherry Creek! The waiters recommended at least one app and one entree per person but I felt like that's a large over estimate- the salmon was hug and easily could have been split, especially with an app on top of it! Attentive waiters and a delicious meal were highlights but it was definitely pricey (especially if you order as much food as they suggest you "need") and there are other places that are just as delicious without that downside.

Yelp
Had the best time! Bottomless spritz for $20 is such a deal, the dip tray is unbelievably good, and the fries were

Yelp
I dropped my review to 1 star. The owner pretends to care about customer feedback with the same canned response to all negative reviews. She asks for customers to email, but then doesn't respond to us. Overpriced, hohum, restaurant. Avoid!

Yelp
Outstanding. Service was great. Ambiance is cute but sophisticated. Food was delicious. The highlight of the meal was a platter of the various dips they offer. It didn't have enough bread and veggies for dipping by a long shot. We asked for four times the amount when our server came to check on us. All of our meals were great except the sauce for the spanakopita was way to "dilly". Our mock tails were also served in lowballs (which I feel should always be served tall if it's basically soda and juice) but they tasted amazing. And it even felt like the chef came out to personally deliver the entrees--not sure, but he had an apron and seemed to know the dishes extensively. It was clean, quiet enough with just a hum of customers talking, and just lovely. Our server actually read our note from Open Table saying we were celebrating our daughter heading off to college. That has never happened when I've written a personal note on that section when reserving a table. Would recommend.

Yelp
Ambiance is gorgeous!! The drinks are fantastic and service is always friendly! Next to forget me not, this is my 2nd favorite bar!

Yelp
Came here on a double date and I was thoroughly impressed! All the food and drinks were delicious! I didn't read the menu correctly and we ordered 3lbs of the red snapper which was $50/lb (I missed the per pound piece) which was so expensive and honestly it was the least favorite thing we ate so that was disappointing for the price but otherwise everything was great. The restaurant is also super cute and trendy!

Yelp
If you're looking for a taste of Greece in Cherry Creek, Kinis is definitely worth a visit. I recently took some friends who had also traveled to Greece before, and we were all impressed with the authenticity of the food. The ember-roasted eggplant appetizer was a standout for us - it was smoky and flavorful, and a great start to our meal. For my main dish, I went with the Branzino, and it was cooked to perfection - moist and flavorful with a crispy skin. The ambiance inside Kinis is cool and contemporary, with plenty of Greek-inspired decor (very instagrammable). It's a great spot for a date night or dinner with friends. My only complaint is that the menu is a bit overpriced for the quality. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving Kinis a try.

Yelp
First off, this restaurant is gorgeous! And the food is pretty tasty. The service was still a little slow but our server was very helpful picking out wine. We ordered a bunch of apps, the hummus and beet baba ganoush was the best! We ordered the meatballs - also a must.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance but extremely overprice food for the quality/quantity. We ordered the salmon and it was fine, but not worth the price and without any sides. The service was also slow unfortunately.

Yelp
Simply put, this place is a must and such a great add to Cherry Creek. The environment is modern and welcoming, not too loud when totally full on a Saturday night but definitely a place you want to stay a while. Started with yacht water and golden Negroni. Both were well made and burst with flavor. The bartender was super knowledgeable on the drinks and the food menu. When our table was ready, we moved from the bar where we had a different server who was equally as knowledgeable. Roasted eggplant dip Tomahawk rib steak Brussels sprouts Fries Everything was flavorful, not too heavy but filling, perfectly cooked/ season. The tomahawk is 10000% worth it. With apps, could easily split with 3 people or 2 hungry people. Just perfect. Ended with the famous sticky toffee pudding and espresso martinis. The entire service was well thought out and attentive. I felt taken care of/ someone was there when I needed something but not overwhelming or over bearing. Great for date night or special occasion!
