"If you’re about to dive headfirst into Healdsburg’s wineries, you’re going to want to be prepared, and a full stomach of BBQ is the kind of prepping we can get behind. Customize your BBQ platter at Kin Smoke with a bunch of meats, including brisket and St. Louis-style ribs, plus sides like bourbon baked beans and fried pickles, all served with their tasty cornbread. "Where locals and their kids go, Kinsmoke is just as likely to offer huge helpings of grilled asparagus as the day's special as it might something that once trotted the fields. But make no mistake, Kinsmoke is about the 'cue, running the geographic gamut from North to South Carolina with a stop in St. Louis and a nod to Kansas City. Order at the bar, take a number and a seat, and dream over the homemade sausages, hamburgers, hush puppies, and smoked chicken dishes you didn't get—this time. Because as long as there is a North (or South) Carolina, you'll be back." - Gretchen Giles

Google
Been wanting to try this place as it has been recommended by more than one of my friends. I was not disappointed!! Got the Abomination Burger. This thing has a 1/2 pound burger with pork belly and a chicharrón to top it off! Messy but delicious! Do NOT leave this place without trying the Pork Belly Burnt Ends! TO DIE FOR! A little on the pricey side but great food for the money!!

Google
The food was great. Portions of meat are on the smaller side but the flavors were great. Nice place to have a meal and relax.

Google
10/10!!! Brad went the extra mile and was the best he is one of the best owners ever and is super nice and kind. Our server was amazing she was enthusiastic and helpful and nice. The food was…wow awesome and delicious very well presented. The place was decorated very nicely and it was a bit pricey but I will always go back.

Google
Service was excellent with welcoming, friendly and attentive attitude! Meats were good but with hardly noticeable smoke flavor. My bet is they are using pellet grills instead of wood. I suppose that's what one has to do to keep costs down -- which i understand. Their cornbread muffins were excellent! Another unique side dish was the sweet potato tator tots! They were amazing! Overall a good experience.

Google
Just Q It! Best BBQ I’ve had this far west. Excellent food and service. Wide selection of sauces. Only complaint is no padded seats. Come on now. Skinny people like BBQ too!

Google
The food was good. We had brisket and pulled pork. Excellent sauces. Our service was impeccable. Thank you Ezekiel for making our experience amazing. You were attentive and gave great recommendations. Ask for him he knows his stuff!

Google
Food was solid for an area that’s a tourist hotbed. It’s not BBQ from middle America, but it more than scratched the itch. We enjoyed the ribs and brisket very much and would order them again. Cornbread muffins and the side of broccolini were good. Probably should have elected for the vinegar slaw over the extra bland and disappointing mac and cheese. The service team was delightful and worth 6 stars. Atmosphere was great. California’s beer scene is decades behind Oregon, but the bar here gives an honest effort. Would return.

Google
We had lunch here, a party of 6. Firstly the staff were excellent attentive and helpful. The meats were delicious particularly the brisket and the pork belly. The sides were varied and excellent. We definitely come again.

Yelp
KINSmoke is hands down one of the best spots in Healdsburg! The second you walk in; you're hit with the amazing smell of barbecue. The brisket was super tender, the ribs were perfectly smoky and the sides (especially the brussel sprouts, mac and cheese and cornbread) were next-level good. What really made the experience amazing was Whitney. She was absolutely fabulous. She gave us great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does and she made our whole experience even more incredible. If you are craving great BBQ and an awesome vibe, definitely check out KINSmoke.

Ann L.

Yelp
Delish! You can smell it just walking through the door. That sexy barbecue smoke just lingers. The whole set up just screams bbq from the wooden booths to the carousel of barbecue sauces. The menu is full of great choices and we settled in on a few to share. Service was always at the ready. The pollo borracho sandwich was jam packed with flavor. The burnt ends were super tender, the fried pickles on point, and the Mac was cheesy. Get yourself in here and enjoy!

Yelp
This mf IS THE BOMB. New Year's Day and they're cranking hot & heavy. Everything Spanish language in Healdsburg is closed. These guys are like an upscale, best parts of a Texas-Callie, smart and awesomely chef-forward freakin' #NirvanaBurgerBBQBrisketPorkBellyDROOLONMYSELFGOOD. Can I get an Amen. Can I give these folks SIX stars?? Pass this up at your own risk. I can only repeat that iconic line from 2 Broke Girls. Don't ever doubt me: get that booty on in fer good eats. Yee haw

Yelp
The BEST bbq I've ever had. We have visited 3 times and have been equally impressed each time. We always get there when it opens so we're always greeted and sat immediately. The inside is very country but in a very inviting way and this time of year it's decorated for Christmas! The burnt ends are a must try! They have such a unique flavor profile that isn't like anything I have ever tried before. Another favorite is the smoked chicken and white sandwich. It's creamy and slightly spicy and has yummy pickles! The alabama white sauce is to die for! On our most recent visit, I tried the salmon which was cooked to perfection. The skin was crispy and the potatoes were delicious. The salad had a good vinaigrette taste to it. My husband of course got the smoked chicken and white with mac and cheese. The max and cheese is so delicious. Very creamy with a slight kick to it. It's a must visit each time we visit Healdsburg from Sacramento.

Yelp
Was in Healdsburg walking around and needed a good lunch place. Wanted something other than fancy sandwiches and KINSmoke nailed it. Great sauces, great food, big portions, full bar. Just note - the 2x2 is a solid amount of food. Not too much for a linebacker, but definitely meaningful. Highly recommend.

Nica F.

Yelp
Their Bbq was really good. Both Brisket and Ribs were tender and flavorful. Price was also decent especially the food was good and right portion. They also have variety of sauce you can choose from that's available on each table. Our server was nice and patience. We definitely love the ambiance inside.

Tony W.

Yelp
First time here and dang this place is good Very very pleased that we decided to have some bbq this fine day. The 4 of us came hungry and didn't hesitate to order to our hearts content Service was quick and food came out very quick, as it should as most of the hard work of bbq should be done in the morning already. Mac and cheese was pretty decent but nothing to write home about. Cole slaw was slawing. French fries were pretty good, nice and seasoned. Ordered a 3x3 and had brisket combo lean and fat - wasn't super juicy but juicy enough. Pulled pork was nice and tender. The star though were the pork ribs, they were very very good. If you come, get the ribs. Everything was super decently priced, roughly $60 for the 3x3 which fed 4 and had leftover fries and brisket to take home, two fountain drinks and a beer. I'd say $60 is a steal

Greg O.

Yelp
Ordered the brisket and spicy sweet potato tater tots. Both are really good as well as the chocolate bread pudding. Service was excellent by the server EZ. Very attentive and personable.

David C.

Yelp
Can I give it 6 stars?! You walk in the door to an awsome aroma of the smoked meats, a great sign. If you like whisky, AWSOME selections for very reasonable prices. Get the double on the hardnto find ones, Weller CYPB, Elmer T Lee, Blanton, Colonel H Taylor, and on and on. Only 20% more for a double. Oh yeah, on to the meat. I had the brisket and pulled pork. Delicious! Was with friends from Texas who said it was as good as what they got there. Service amd staff were aawesome! Friendly, helpful, and just fun. I would definately recommend!

Tony B.

Yelp
We had a great experience here, in town for a musical show at the Little Saint. You smell the sweet smoking BBQ as you enter the door. We sat at the bar since we needed quicker service to get to our show on time. My lady and I had the burnt ends, beet salad, cajun shrimp and cocktails. The bartender was friendly and helpful, and the everything we ordered was tasty. And we got to our show on time. We'll be back.

Michelle E.

Yelp
Funny enough my step mom had made reservations for Kin for lunch the same day my mom had made reservations for KINSmoke for dinner. We had no idea they were even related until we saw the bottle of water at lunch had KINSmoke on the side! I was still stuffed from lunch / dessert (see that review on kins page) but I had been waiting to try this place all week. We made a reservation but it wasn't needed as the place was pretty dead when we arrived at 6 pm. Ambiance was casual, dark beer bar style . There was 3 of us so we opted for the 3 x 3 so we could each get to choose a meat, a side, and we'd all get cornbread! The cornbread came with a honey ancho butter and I couldn't get enough! MEATS - PORK BELLY BURNT ENDS: we almost bought this as an app but when we saw it could be a meat choice we opted to do that. It was our favorite of all the meats - BRISKET: this was good but nothing to write home about - PORK RIBS: ours were a little dry but the thicker edges were more moist and yummy SIDES - BAKED BEANS: if you're looking for sweet beans , these were not it. Definitely more savory which some in my party really liked - BRUSSEL SPROUTS: I had had some Brussels at lunch at kin, both were yummy - COLE SLAW: I'm not really a Cole slaw fan so this was okay We also each ordered a drink, I ordered the Mezcalifornication which was good and didn't have a super strong mezcal flavor but a little bit of smoke Since everything was listed as "MP" (Marketprice) we had no idea what the damage would be. We were surprised when we saw the total of our bill was about $90. (I've spent this much on bbq for 2 people and NO drinks). Meaning if we had only got the bbq , it would be about $50/60 which is great!

Yelp
You CANNOT beat these Happy Hour prices in Sonoma county! Wife and I grabed the frickels, wings, chilli fries, and chopper sliders. Portions were small, but what you expect for $4. All beers on tap were $4.5!? Place was clean and contemporary. The service on the patio, despite inside being almost empty, was pretty slow. I would have ordered more food and another beer if 5 mins hadn't passed with an empty pint. Give this place a try! The actual bbq is quite good!

Reggie B.

Yelp
First, let me say the food was certainly 100% 5-star, BUT our server was less than 1 star. Unfortunately on being told to sit where ever we'd like, it took nearly 10 minutes for us to get water, cutlery and asked if we were ready to order. I observed our server laughing and talking to men at the bar, lingering with 2 other tables of 2 men just chatting. During the 10 minutes, she never walked in our direction. We closed our menus and placed them in the middle of the table which is a universal symbol the table is ready to order, but I had to stare at her to get her to the table. Normally, I leave but my group wanted to eat here due to the reputation. In closing to management, a server as bad as this young lady should not be allowed on the dining floor. For the food, I had ordered the chopped combination sliders, chili cheese fries, and sauced smoked wings. My wife ordered the roasted brussel sprouts, smoked wings "naked" (no sauce), chopped combination sliders. My nephew and his wife had the burger topped with crispy pork belly, burger topped with a grilled pineapple slice, smoked wings, chopped combination sliders and chili cheese fries. As each dish hit the table, our degree of "Ooh, Aah!" Increased! Folks, Kinsmoke needs to open a satellite location next door to my home. Their pit master, and sauce master are on point. The meat was cooked to the perfect temperature and seasoned with a deft hand that allowed the meat to speak for itself. The restaurant itself has a chill atmosphere that's fine for after work with co-workers, date night, or a drop in for solo burger and beer. Again, if not for our lackluster service, this review would have been a five. Management/ownership, protect your band and ensure your people are trained and perform their duties professionally, courteously and completely.

Yelp
Amazing chili cheese fries because each component was excellent and the ratio was great. Ir's hard to get chili fries right, because they easily become such a gloppy, amorphous mess! Chili studded with beans but full of brisket and pork shoulder, proof that this joint does bbq well. Portion was a decent size and there was cheese sauce on the bottom of the plate, followed by the crispy fries. they were not completely covered in the chili so that the fries on the top of the pile were still crispy and the ones on the bottom still had potatoey integrity. . The smoked, shredded cheddar on top and a smattering of fresh scallions. After a heathy weekend at my vegan friends' new home, this was such an indulgent treat, Service was great and iced tea was fresh brewed. i beat the Sunday lunch rush. Such a satisfying pit stop to fuel up for the long drive back to the Peninsula.

Jimmy A.

Yelp
I've been to Kinsmoke a few times and I've generally enjoyed myself. It's a great space in a very convenient location after wine tasting in Sonoma county. The service is usually pretty good. The food...sigh...the food...so there are some great things and lots of meh. To be fair, the bbq sauce is very good. The burnt ends, the chili, the beans and the salads are great . The brisket is pretty meh as are the ribs. I did not like the cornbread and not a huge fan of the Mac. Would I recommend this place? Probably not since there are just better choices on the square.

Chad B.

Yelp
Are you craving for some BBQ? If you are, this is the place to go and have some Bbq food. You have a choice of having a BBQ plate or sandwich, and I chose to try their sandwiches for lunch. Service was friendly and responsive and the ambience was great. Relaxing and friendly. Highly recommended to everyone to try this place out if you happen to be in the Healdsburg area.

Gerry T.

Yelp
On our way to the Anderson Valley, we stopped at KINSmoke for lunch. We ate outside overlooking the square and ordered wings, an abomination burger and Mac and cheese. The abomination burger stole the show. It featured 1/2 pound burger patty, cheese, pork belly burnt ends, aioli and crispy chicharrones. Highly recommend it. The wings were good; however, the Mac and cheese needed help. I took some of the pork belly burnt ends from my burger and added them to the Mac and cheese. If you go, order the abomination burger! You won't be disappointed. Would definitely return.

Yelp
We come here A LOT and this place is usually really good. We visited Friday around 1:30pm and sat at the bar. The pulled pork sandwich was great- it arrived within 2 minutes of ordering it. But we expected the meat to be warm? It was ice cold on there. Giving this review 2 stars for the food. Good amount of BBQ sauces to use, we like the variety. The restaurant is usually busier than it was so maybe that's new because of the service we received. The women bartender working seemed very overwhelmed and it showed... basically running around, spilling stuff and forgetting orders. we ordered a margarita and a mule; they each had maybe half a shot in them (I watched her make them) one of the worst drinks there we have ever had... yes we let her know- but that didn't change anything. We then ordered a beer so we ordered a Pacifico- every single tap on draft were all shot, they came out all foamy and tasted flat. A bartender shouldn't continue to hand customers full glasses of foam for a beer and they continue to pour it. We tasted the beer and it was completely flat- so we denied that beer/charge, returned it and closed out- we went to another bar on the square with better drinks and service. Not sure we will be back, which is unfortunate.

Heidi B.

Yelp
Solid BBQ spot! Plenty of seating & fun, family atmosphere Make sure to grab an ice cream afterward at Nobie Folk!

Andrew B.

Yelp
Awesome spot for happy hour. Go for lunch between 11 and 1. Great cheap beers, tasty bbq. Recommend the mixed brisket, ribs and tips. Coleslaw, Brussels and Frickles are great: MAC plain and the baked beans and one of the sauces tastes a little weird, almost like vanilla, maybe too much brown sugar or maple syrup. Other than that great place and service great.

Krista B.

Yelp
Native Texan here so typically I'm a harsh critic for BBQ but from what I tried at KINSmoke, I'm impressed and wanting to try more! Aesthetic - 10/10 Love a good casual, beer sign swinging, old wood barn style aesthetic for BBQ. I feel like it isn't as common to see that aesthetic in CA so it's fun and fitting! Staff - 10/10 We loved our waiter and each staff member we spoke with was very excited to discuss the food and give recommendations! Our order: Okay y'all, when I'm outside of Texas I typically order "easy" items, ones I feel like other BBQ regions cannot mess up. Next time I try KINSmoke, I'm coming for the meat platter to try an array of meats! - Shiner Bock - Because Texas... takes me back to my college days! - Pork Belly Cobb (6/10) - This was the disappointing part of the meal. Now I get it... it's a salad at a BBQ restaurant, but it still did not live up to $19 worth of salad. The lettuce was not adequately chopped, the toppings were lack luster, and there was only 6 pieces of pork belly on the whole salad. The dressing was nice, light, and refreshing but I wouldn't recommend this salad moving forward. Maybe if it was $12. - Hula Hot Pig (10/10) - Now THIS was the showstopper and what will keep me coming back! The meat was cooked perfectly, the pineapple was thinly sliced so it wasn't overwhelming but you still had such a nice sweet caramelized flavor. The sauce was *chefs kiss*. If you're considering this sandwich, look no further! - Spiced Sweet Potato Tater Tots (10/10) - Delicious, perfectly cooked, and paired with a scrumptious dipping sauce! I will definitely come back for a meat platter because I was overall impressed with their meats so far!

Joye S.

Yelp
What an amazing find! Ambience is great casual but beautiful. Food incredibly tasty and the price is appropriate- some really good value for the amazing food! Half a dozen sauces house made to test in lean but juicy brisket, properly pink from smoke ribs and creatively delicious pork belly burnt ends! Will definitely return because there's so much more in the menus to try! Even their sweet tea was on point! And I grew up with Southern roots so I know sweet tea! Highly recommend.

Janine T.

Yelp
Food was average at best. The Mac and cheese was a no for me - no taste and would not recommend Lots of tvs if you are looking to watch some sports. Service was good

Dave F.

Yelp
This place is fabulous! It's the real-deal BBQ in a region where you usually don't find that. Flavor was great... Nice and smokey. And we loved all the sauces at our table. Our only compliant was that the brisket was a bit dry. We'd definitely go again.

Ella G.

Yelp
Tragically mediocre :( I love a good barbecue place and with my partner being from North Carolina I've grown accustomed to a high standard. Kinsmoke unfortunately doesn't meet it. We tried the pulled pork platter in the smallest size, which came with a cornbread and choice of side (we got fries), as well as the "frickles" and fried shrimp. The fried pickles were spectacular! Great flavor and crunch. Best I've tried anywhere. The fried shrimp were decent as well. The pulled pork was not my favorite. I didn't like the texture much, too many large/fatty chunks, and the flavor was off. It tasted gritty or dirty like it was intended to have a smokiness that just fell flat. The sauce was also mid. Side note, I can't for the life of me understand why pulled pork would be listed as market price...surely it doesn't fluctuate much?? The cornbread was horrendous. Dry and way too sweet but still somehow bland. It gave me a coughing fit. The fries were fine. For drinks, beware that they don't serve Coke products. I got the sweet tea (watery) and a cocktail that was alright but not particularly memorable. Go for just drinks and apps, if you must.

Ewa U.

Yelp
oh my god ... that's all i'm gonna say. the brisket is out of this world and the tater tots (pictured) some of the best executed i've had. combine that with the complementary bbq sauce assortment and viola!! - your tastebuds will be dancing. cheers

Julie C.

Yelp
Just wow. 5/5 The food here is amazing. This isn't a bbq place that serves small platters for a steep price like some other places. The prices seemed fair for the sizes of food and got. Other members in our group got the 1x1 and 2x2. This 3x3 could have easily fed 3 adults. I shared it with my husband and we had leftovers. The ribs were my favorite but the chicken and brisket were also good! Everything had great flavor and the sides were up to par also! Service was also good and the restaurant itself fit the vibe without being cliche or inauthentic. By far some of the best bbq I've had! Will definitely return if we're back in the area.

Ana F.

Yelp
Rob took care of us today while we stopped by for food and drinks and the service was above and beyond. The food is incredibly tasty and I would not miss out on this place if you are in town.

Lorcan M.

Yelp
6 of us ate here, service was excellent. We particularly like thr brisket and pork belly but it was all delicious. The sides were also good, beet salad and apple/horseradish slaw being stand outs. Definitely worth a visit

Clifford W.

Yelp
Parking in zoned 2 hour limit. We ate lunch a little late, so they were not busy on week day. The brisket sandwich was tasty and better than average. There was not a lot of smoke flavor, but meat was tender and moist. Bark had a pepper coffee taste. Burnt ends pork belley tasted juicier because of the fat. Also, there is not a lot of smoke flavor. Good with the sauces on the table. Service excellent, wait person came back asking how food was. This place is more of an eat and run cafe. The ambiance outside was nice seeing foot traffic. Overall, 4 stars out of 5

Linda G.

Yelp
The food and service was excellent thanks Breanne, Whitney for service with a smiles and great recommendations. Kudos to the chef, the brisket was outstanding. The ambiance was great. Overall outstanding experience. Even came back for the blueberry peach cobbler to finish off our experiences in Healdsburg. Thanks to all the kinsman staff. Linda G

Yelp
I wont go back. The food is good. The service is straight garbage. The last two times I went to pick up a to go order i stood in front of the counter and no less than 5 employees made brief eye contact with me and skedaddled as soon as possible without a word. No "hello" no "someone will be with you in a moment" I started ordering food to go because the previous few times i was in there the service was awful. I was in there with two friends and our table was 3 of probably 7 total customers in the restaurant. I went up to the bar and interrupted 4 servers busy texting to ask for another round. I had to do that twice! Good food, but whoever is managing that front of house needs to be shot. OK now that my roommate is got his opinion out-of-the-way you can hear mine. I love the food. I think the food is outstanding but the service is consistently terrible every time you come in hoping it'll be different. It disappoints you with just the same it's almost unbelievable. I've been the only person at the bar and got ignored And dealt with extremely slowly it's almost like it's a mantra that they do before work

angela g.

Yelp
food was super good brisket and other meats were tender and flavorful loved their fries our waitress was very friendly and attentive overall vibe was inviting and chill

Lynn F.

Yelp
Boy was I wrong. Playing tourist in Healdsburg, and certainly not expecting to find good bbq in wine country. I mean, the town has no urban grit. None. What a huge place. Parklet outside, table after table inside, & a bar in back. Our waiter was super friendly & helpful, clearly a bbq fan. We settled on the 2x2. Good call, a shareable plate of bbq ribs, chicken, sweet potato tots, Brussels sprouts & corn muffins. 100% satisfaction. Bellies full, on to a seek a glass of wine. I wonder if they have any tasting rooms around here.

Michelle O.

Yelp
The best part about this restaurant is the proximity to the Plaza being right across from the gazebo for music on Tuesdays and other happenings. The servers are nice and the restaurant is modern and clean. They are a bbq place and specialize in smoked meats. I've gone twice and had the burger first (good, very smoky) and shrimp poor boy second (just ok, weird seasoning on the shrimp and too much bread). My husband got the 3 x 3 and said the ribs were good but cornbread, chicken and links were not great bbq. It's still better than 80% of the Bay Area bbq places and the or prices don't kill you (bottle of Chalk Hill Chardonnay for $38). I'd recommend for lunch but it's not the most amazing on the square:

Taylor B.

Yelp
If you are anywhere near Healdsburg & you like BBQ...this needs to be a must try on your list! The staff are super friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a laid back restaurant with a hometown feel, look no further. Everything we ate was absolutely amazing. Even though we live a few hours away we will be back in the future. The amount of time and care that goes into each dish really shows. Our BBQ platter brisket & ribs, could be cut with a fork. The sauces & sides also complement the Smokey BBQ really well. Not to mention they have a ton of beers and a full bar. I'm sure the sweet treats are also delectable. Overall, it was a really fun experience & we left with overly satisfied tastebuds.

Becky Y.

Yelp
Had brisket today. So good, but the Macaroni and cheese left a lot to be desired. Pasta swimming in a watery cheese sauce. Very disappointed.

jeff s.

Yelp
Excellent BBQ. Family of three adults had the 3x3 with additional Brussels Sprouts. Pulled pork, beef brisket and chicken pieces were very good. Fries, sweet potato tater tots, Cole slaw, corn bread all good. Brussels sprouts very good. The tray also came with a wide selection of dipping and bbq sauces, which was fun. Great place. A must go when in the area and wanting meat!

AG R.

Yelp
We used Kinsmoke to cater a family reunion and it was completely worth it. We actually added more food because we weren't sure if it would be enough but turns out they would've been 100% spot on with what they recommended (guess should trust the pros!) They delivered everything to us nicely packed and on time. Despite them not usually doing the frickles for catering (as they can get soggy) they didn't for us and honestly didn't lose any crunch on our end. The bark on the brisket was very nicely developed, the ribs came easily off the bone and the smoked chicken was so smooth. I almost never order smoked chicken but I'm a big fan of theirs! Very nice and easy people to work with and delicious food!

Sonja V.

Yelp
The only thing i could taste on the brisket platter was black pepper. A thick black crust of peopercorns. Mac n cheese was more like undercooked noodles and milk. Watery, rubbery, tasteless. Frickles were the best part of my 168 dollar meal. Sweet ts in Windsor best hands down. Decided Kin cuz sweet ts is closed on mondays. Exspensive wrong choice for dinner.

Maxim S.

Yelp
Wow what a spot! Went here with my girlfriend on a Thursday around 2 and it was not busy. The inside has a nice ambiance, looks like a modern Barbecue style restaurant. We ordered the 3 x 3 BBQ plater to split and the portions were huge! It could have easily fed 3-4 people. We got the ribs and brisket which were super moist and tender, pulled pork which was good, and three sides which were fried pickles which were ok, Mac and cheese (also ok) and fries which were great. The cornbread and butter was also some of the best I've had and I normally don't enjoy cornbread. The service was also great, super fast and friendly staff. We got our food in less than 15 minutes. The only thing I wish they included in the platter was sweet barbecue sauce for the ribs and pulled pork. Overall great place in Healdsburg!

Betty B.

Yelp
Lively smoke house restaurant. They have a bar area with the games on. Went on a Saturday around 5 and it wasn't to busy yet so we were seated right away. Between the two of us we shared the 3 meat and 3 side platter which was generous portions. We were kind of put off by the up charge for choosing ribs as an option for meat. I guess I'm used to that just being a regular meat option and not something they would charge extra for but there was also no prices on the platters so the restaurant has free reign to up-charge as they please. In my opinion the ribs were not worth the few extra dollars that it was. They gave us 3 options for how we would like our brisket, definitely go with the combo pieces. I thought the lean was way to dry so I asked for them to be replaced with no problem. The sauces they offer with meal were tasty. I really liked the sweet potato tots. All in all this was on my list to try so I'm glad I finally did but if I'm being honest for me it's a one and done.

Yelp
The food was decent although the pricing is market value so that was confusing when trying to make our decision. The brisket and sausage were good but I didn't care for the tots. The ambiance was very bar like and not very friendly. The decor was pretty neat. The customer service was just ok although we did go not too long before closing. We were able to buy a kinsmoke beer glass for $5 so that was cool.

Yelp
Nice location, good vibe and ambiance. Great service. The food was tasty, brussels and slaw on point. The meat was good quality and well cooked. This is not TX BBQ but for CA it is as good as it gets.

Yelp
Service was iffy and it wasn't that busy. Dirty plates were given to us for our appetizers. Food was decent enough, although others in my party disagreed. I had the shrimp Po Boy and it was good. Roll seemed a bit stale. Not sure, I would go back as there are other worthy eateries in the area.

Yelp
Great bbq, some of the best in the Bay Area, good prices. - 1lb lean brisket: tasty, very lean but a bit dry, should have gotten the mix of the fatty and lean. (4/5) - Half rack dry rub ribs: tender, but the middle was on the pink side (4/5) - Ahi tuna salad: ours didn't look like anyone else's in the pictures, a bit lacking and disappointed with the small thinly cut ahi tuna. (3/5) It took a while to place our order but once we did the food came quickly. Wish our waitress had explained the 3 different bbq sauces that came with the meats. This place was quite large on the inside and felt very clean, yet smelled like great BBQ smoke. Also, this place has amazing whiskey prices - next time I'm back I'm definitely drinking those.

Yelp
Discovered this place from the wonderful bbq smoke in the air. Was working in the area and knew i had to check this place out. Super stoked that I did because this is some of the best bbq I've ever had. Ordered the ribs with fried pickles and a corn bread muffin. The butter they give you for the cornbread is something I've never had before. It was delicious! Everything I ate was absolutely amazing! I wish I didn't live so far away from this place! I'd probably eat here once a week ribs were cooked perfectly along with the homemade frickles. This place is awesome

Yelp
We did a preThanksgiving dinner takeout order. It was an easy phone convo but pick up was delayed because it was such a large order for a family of 9! We loved the ribs and brisket very much. Chicken was a bit dry. The very Large portions had us in meals for days after Thanksgiving! All the good food Warmed up well and did not loose integrity! The corned bread was in muffin form also delish!
