Where to Get Your 2023 Oktoberfest on in the Seattle Area | Eater Seattle

"At the Kirkland Oktoberfest I encountered a loud, 21-plus weekend (running from the 22nd to the 24th) built around playful Bavarian traditions — including the notorious Bavarian handshake (passing your hand through the crotch flap of your lederhosen) which attendees chain together in an attempt to set a world record — plus wiener dog races and an entertainment slate headlined by Manuela Horn, a.k.a. the Austrian Amazon. The event leans festive and silly (especially after a few biers), and tickets range from $15 to $75 with some cheaper advance options." - Harry Cheadle

Not worth the $$$! I don’t understand why these vendors are so skimpy on there wine! I paid almost $60 & got 10 wine tasting! Don’t waste your $$! What a ripoff! First time & never again!!

Less wineries, less food trucks. The dj played songs a total of 45 seconds. Just feels like quite the cut back after 8 years of going to u corked. I love this event. Bring back last year ( and the previous 6 years :!-))

We had a fabulous time! The variety of wines were great. I appreciated the free ice water to refill my water bottle. The vibe was a fun, relaxed one. We enjoyed the water views while sipping a variety of wines from the region. I'll be back!

This annual festival held on the shores of Lake Washington in downtown Kirkland is great fun and a joyful experience for all the senses---from the assortment of adult beverages, food, music and the million dollar views of the lake and nearby moored yachts as well as those out on the lake. For Seattle patrons, its a nice get away for a day or all three of the festival dates, July 14-16!

Bought ticket showed up at 4:15pm and they didn’t let me in what a joke.

Surprisingly fun and vibrant. Part wine event part dance club. The wines were tasty and the dancing was fun (though I wasn't a fan of the DJ and his odd tendency to mute the music for a single word at random times).

Cool venue near the water, but more parking is needed. Got to taste a lot of wines but need MORE food choices! Long lines, hard to wait for food.
