Kiss the Hippo Coffee

London Cafe The cafe looks very modern. Clean and tidy place with toilet available. Comfortable seats and environment. Good ventilation. The coffee and hot chocolate were in good quality. The chocolate tart was rich but not too sweet. I prefer dessert that is not too sweet. Most of the cafes in London do not have toilet available. I guess mainly because the regular customers are either working or living nearby. But to the tourists it's very important to get a cafe that has toilet facilities. Unless your hotel/hostel is just nearby.

Excellent coffee, they know how to steaming the milk for Flat White.. Many choices of coffee beans.. The Staff are friendly.. Also I try Almond Croissant.. It's tasty One of the best cafe serving specialist coffee..

I believe its the best coffee in London so far. The coffee is amazing and the baristas are respectful and supportive. Good prices

I went to collect a to good to go bag and I fed up getting a cappuccino, I got their George street blend it was delicious!! The staff was so friendly and added to the experience. Tried their banana bread, mozzarella focaccia and the aubergine focaccia. Their sweet bakes were definitely worth trying but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the savoury. A solid 8.5/10

It was a nice cafe and we enjoyed the matcha lattes. There were just a few times that the noise really escalated to the point we couldn't hear each other.. but most of the time it was average cafe noise.

Disappointed because the entire cup of my flat white was filled with coffee grounds. It was impossible to drink and really disappointing. I was in a hurry, otherwise I would definitely have gone back to get another one. I also bought their beans and they were good, so I really hope this coffee incident was just a one off mistake.

Had Latte Art workshop here, Sav is a really good teacher, he explained the latte art process clearly a more understandable! Feel so happy to have the heart done finally!

Nice space and well located. Good coffee and fine banana bread. Quality and size (both the cappuccino and the slice were small) cannot justify the 8.60£ I paid, though.

Kiss the Hippo (Covent Garden) was on my list of coffees to try. It was on a cute street and recommended on line. It was one of the worst coffees I had. To make it worse the barista, had a cold sore that she kept playing with while making my drink. To make it even worse flat whites in London are so small and expensive compared to the US and one of the coffees in London compare to our third wave coffees in California. Hideaway Coffee House and Nostos came closest.

Precision Coffee done with care.... Excellent baked goods of equal quality.... Not STARBUCKS!
