Kiss the Hippo is one of my favourite coffee shops in London, they have other locations but this is the one I go to the most! They're known for their amazing coffee but I don't really drink coffee so I usually get their Iced Chai Latte with Oat milk! It hits the spot everytime and the cup is so cute. I also got their banana bread, there's a nice bite to it as there's walnut chunks which is amazing. The interior is also super nice, everything is smooth and wooden with a minimalist style. Would recommend!

Absolutely love this spot. Kiss the Hippo Fitzrovia is a haven for coffee lovers — every cup is brewed with care and precision. The vibe is calm and stylish, perfect for a quiet break or catching up with a friend. Their flat white is consistently excellent, and the pastries are fresh and flavorful (highly recommend the croissant!). Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to chat about the beans. Prices are on the higher side, but totally worth it for the quality. One of my favorite specialty coffee spots in London.

Nice place. Today the staff were flat but competent. Very very good espresso blend, would deffo go for the single origin next time to try; I bet it’s worth it. Decaf latte was way above average. Safe bet.

I had an iced coffee with macadamia nut milk (or something similar) — I appreciated that it wasn’t sweet, which is rare and refreshing. That said, the flavour was quite mild and lacked depth. Also, the milk felt a bit too oily for my taste, which took away from the overall experience. Still, nice spot and decent coffee if you’re into lighter blends.

Good coffee shop with nice latte art. The latte is a little too hot but still very good in terms of texture and milk form.

Stopped for a coffee before a conference. A wonderful find, and much more special than the Costa or other high street places locally… there’s single origin drip coffee was amazing. Delicate and complex. And made with absolute care.

I tried the caffe latte with homemade nut milk. It was amazing! Definitely recommend the single origin colombian beans. The staff are really educated on their coffee, just ask and they will help you out. Thank you Larissa, Saeron and Karen for the best coffee i’ve had all week!

I did the Latte Art class (birthday present from my fiancé) at the weekend and it was brilliant! Only four people in the class in a partitioned off area downstairs. We learned about coffee growing and the roasting processes, then learned to make hearts and tulips (with varying degrees of success). The two hours went by in a flash! Our instructor was patient and encouraging, I made 5 attempts, three of which turned out OK!
