"Nestled amid the greenery of a private park, Kitchen is an elegant restaurant which serves creative Italian cuisine with a focus on seasonal ingredients and a perfect balance between produce, technique and flavour. The chef uses herbs and vegetables from the restaurant’s own biodynamic kitchen garden which can be seen in front of the entrance. This natural bounty provides the basis for the Green tasting menu; the other tasting menu is called Experience; there’s also an excellent à la carte. Service is attentive plus there’s an excellent selection of wines." - Michelin Inspector

I was very pleased with Kitchen. The service and ambience were excellent and above average for a 1 star restaurant. We had a group of five and did the lunch tasting menu, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The bread and initial bites were very tasty, especially the tomato and mozzarella bite. The zucchini basil foam was absolutely spectacular—so light and creamy. I was allergic to the langoustine, so they substituted with a chicken liver pâté, which was very good. The ravioli was good and presented beautifully, and the pigeon was excellent. The pre-dessert bite was phenomenal, and the star of the show was the almond dessert, which left me craving more all day. Overall, a very lovely experience and deserving of a star!

Amazing experience! We had pigeon for the first time and it was unbelievable- we’ll never look at pigeons the same again!! I’m still dreaming of the ravioli and wine! The service was great as well.

Possibly the best flavor combinations I’ve ever tasted in my life. This place definitely did not disappoint. I had the Experience tasting menu and was pleasantly surprised at the various combinations. I can’t pick one favorite as they were all delightful. The restaurant itself isn’t as picturesque as some of the other restaurants across the Lake, but the food makes up for it. I also added on the wine pairing, which was extremely reasonably priced. The wines come from smaller local and regional vineyards across Italy and France.

As an Italian with experience in Michelin stars restaurants, I would say Kitchen is an overpriced average Michelin star one that focuses on cashing in from tourists. The location is great as well as the atmosphere, the staff is very nice and welcoming, but it’s definitely overpriced. We’ve been welcomed with a caviar menu without any explanation, just a mere list of caviars with high prices. I did not like it at all. Then we got a “welcome” champagne with very little explanation of what it could have been paired with and why. We realized only once we had to pay that it was not a “welcome” champagne (i.e. on the house) but we had to pay for it (30€ a glass). This was not clear at all and I felt tricked. For the experience + menu with wine pairing I personally believe the choice of wines was based on price rather than pairing, the explanation was always “very fresh, the wine is very fresh” and it came always before the dish. The sommelier never explained the relationship wine-dish and why it was a perfect pairing, but always said “it’s a very fresh wine and it combines perfectly with the next dish”. This repeated for 7 dishes. Overall it was an ok experience, but for 300€ each I am expecting a superb one.

Fantastic dining experience. The food speaks for itself however the staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure the meal met our expectations and fought with taxi drivers to secure us a ride home after. Highly recommend trying them out and couldn’t speak better about the manager she was amazing.

The food was outstanding, and we'd like to thank the chef for the wonderful menu. My favorite dish is in the picture. However, our waiter was awful. It's one thing to lack warmth, but at a Michelin-starred restaurant with these prices, we expect better. The waiter should have waited for everyone to be seated before serving the dish, or at least waited for everyone to return from the bathroom before explaining it. This might not be entirely his fault, as better training might be needed, but the service definitely did not match the excellence of the kitchen.

We had a wonderful experience here. To be honest the prices are on the higher side and the portions on the lower in compare with other Michelin star restaurants we visited but the creations were (more) outstanding. Wine pairing was done properly and the wines you get are in the top ranges. And all of that in a nice, peaceful green setting. Although we had the bad luck of being the only one to eat inside. No more free tables outside unless our reservation was from months ago. The service was absolutely on star level. Decent explaining of the wines and dishes. Very polite but not stiff. Our compliments to the team. We enjoyed the dessert and ravioli the most.

The star of the show (apart from the food here) is the outdoor eating experience surrounded by greenery with the focal point being that massive (scots pine?) tree in the centre. Seating is very comfortable, but for some reason I did feel a little uneasy and I don't know why. Maybe it was a fear of the unknown. Staff here are very nice, however when they explained what dishes were on the way they spoke too quickly and therefore I mostly did not catch what they were saying. What would help enormously here would be a copy of the menu to be left on the table throughout the meal. (We had the 5 course tasting menu). A €60 per person wine paring is also offered, but this was too much wine for us, so we chose a bottle + glass red with Pigeon dish. There should be more than one wine pairing option. The presentation is spectacular and attention to detail is not disputed. However, I have eaten just as good food in other restaurants that do not have a Michelin. This is not a reflection on 'Kitchen', it's more a reflection on how Michelin assign their coveted stars, and because of this Kitchen is bound to be compared to many other excellent restaurants. My photos will confirm the attention to detail that we experienced. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to eat there and we had a very pleasant evening. I absolutely recommend it.
