Kitchen Ter(re) is a culinary gem nestled in Paris’s 5th arrondissement, offering a unique fusion of southern French and Mediterranean seafood flavors. Helmed by renowned chef William Ledeuil, this establishment stands out for its innovative approach to traditional dishes.
The menu showcases a variety of pasta dishes crafted from ancient grains like spelt, durum wheat, and einkorn, sourced from artisan miller Roland Feuillas. While dining there I enjoyed the dentelles de cucugnan which featured a delicious homemade pasta with smoked eel and asparagus. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the cream sauce was delicate and delightful.
Seafood enthusiasts will appreciate the variety of offerings. While dining we enjoyed the Peche du jour, which is the fresh fish of the day. We also enjoyed a seafood starter of smoked fish ginger asparagus and dill, it was perfectly balanced. The restaurant’s commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients ensures a memorable dining experience.
The ambiance at Kitchen Ter(re) is both trendy and cozy, featuring electric blue benches, and terrazzo tables creating an inviting atmosphere for diners . The attentive and friendly staff further enhance the overall experience. They were very informative about the menu and helped us navigate which items to choose, taking into consideration our dietary restrictions. The staff is multi lingual which also enhances the dining experience.
For those seeking a distinctive dining experience that marries southern French cuisine with Mediterranean seafood flair, Kitchen Ter(re) is a must-visit destination in Paris.
