"Owned and operated by local MacKenzie Cohen and her husband, Jack, who hails from Australia, Kittitas Cafe blends traditional diner fare — the house-made hollandaise on the eggs Benedict is rich yet light and delightfully lemony — with some modern twists on the classics. Patrons line up to order while baristas deftly work the sleek espresso machine, putting Olympia Coffee beans to good use. A suite of house-made syrups and flavorings are welcome additions. Show up early for any number of rotating daily pastries and baked goods, as Jack is a baker by trade, or enjoy a full Aussie breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, grilled mushrooms, and tomato with toast." - Teo Bicchieri
The burritos were filling and delicious, iced coffees were great! The workers were very friendly, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming for all, despite it being in a rural town that can oftentimes feel otherwise! Highlight of our road trip!

My husband after breakfast said I don’t say this ever but it was the best breakfast burrito he had in a long time. My breakfast was perfect and the jam was so good. I had 2 perfectly cooked eggs with avocado, came with hash towns and sourdough toast. To much to finish. My latte was perfect.

Little hidden gem in Kittitas. I like the counter service instead of sit-down. Staff was nice and friendly. Coffee was excellent. Great hash, crispy hash browns, eggs cooked to order. Side pancake was good for 3 dollars more. Prices reasonable. Cute and clean interior and nice outdoor patio.

A few times a year we make the 45 minute drive for breakfast and Kittitas Cafe never disappoints. By far one of my favorite places between Yakima and Kittitas County.
This time we had one of their monthly specials, the French blueberry streusel and the classic biscuit and sausage gravy with hash browns. Everything was perfect. I'm usually not a huge hash brown fan, but these were cooked to perfection - perfectly crispy on the outside!
Staff is always friendly and the enclosed patio area was perfect for a chilly morning. Thank you guys for another amazing experience!

This is a wonderful café excellent food, beautiful surroundings both inside and out. At the time of writing it was rated 4.9 stars. I think that is way too low. Should be about seven stars.

I make it a rule to not order biscuits and gravy in a restaurant. They're always really bad....
No exception here. I went against my better judgment and decided to try it since other outings here have been quite good.
Verdict...
Great biscuit
OK sausage (pretty meager portion)
Gravy... unflavored white glop.
This ain't hard folks! Call me and I'll tell you how to make a tasty biscuits and gravy.

Cute little coffee shop, good coffee in the middle of nowhere, which is hard to find!

This is our favorite place for breakfast, lunch and coffee!! They can get busy but don’t let the line scare you - they move through the line quickly and they get your food and drinks out in a timely fashion! It’s an affordable option, the portions are perfect and you know what you’re going to get every time.
Would recommend a thousand times over!
