Knife Modern Mediterranean - Review - Buckhead - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The rose-covered installation by the entrance seems like the required social media photo stop before you head deeper into the venue. But there are far more stunning sights throughout—from big photorealistic paintings to a cozy, back-lit wicker egg chair in the back corner. But this fancy Buckhead spot isn’t all show. The Mediterranean menu delivers on the substance, too. Start with the Mezze Trio of the hummus, babaganoush, and atom—establish any rules against double-dipping before it comes because the smokey yogurt dip is pretty hard to resist. With several small plates and big shareable entrees like tender scallops and fire-roasted lamb chops, we advocate filling your table with a range of tastes until you’re stuffed." - Nina Reeder

The Bun Factory in Doraville, Knife Modern Mediterranean in Buckhead, and Platez Southern Kitchen in Decatur Open - Eater Atlanta

"Knife Modern Mediterranean opens Wednesday, August 17, on Piedmont Road in Buckhead, the AJC reports. Owned by Atlanta restaurateur Ali Ebrahimi and his business partners, the dinner menu features charcoal-grilled kebabs, lamb shank, whole roasted branzino, and other dishes meant to represent the 'Mediterranean subregion.' A speakeasy-style bar accessed via the kitchen should open in September and also serve small plates. Weekend brunch should launch in the coming weeks." - Beth McKibben

This upscale restaurant was definitely top tier! The decorations, atmosphere, and vibes matched well with the delicious food. They have a few nice areas/backgrounds where you can take pictures. The lamb chops and salmon were perfectly seasoned. No disappointment at all. 10/10 recommend

Google
I was looking for a late night spot upon arriving in Atlanta in the late evening when most restaurants were already closed … so pleased with the service and delicious Mediterranean food…. Very authentic ! Best hummus and Greek salad I had in recent memory in the Usa… the pasta was overcooked and soft so I would not recommend unless that’s how you like it but everything else was delicious to me … the music was nice as well and the place looked stylish and clean …

The restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent. The food is beautifully presented and is cooked to perfection but it is tasteless and bland. The vegetables don't even have any flavor. I've never experienced anything like it. Everything was so beautiful but tasted like nothing. Everything would have been delicious with a little seasoning. We spent $250 for tasteless food lol

First thing first, the service was great! I had an issue with one of the many entrees order and they remade it (The Branzino) even though it was almost time for them to close. I appreciate the staff and manager for making it happen because it was soooo good! From the appetizers, drinks, main course, and dessert, everything was perfection. I really recommend the fried lobster, the branzino, and the lava cake. I asked for a customized drink, pomegranate mule with tequila instead of vodka and they were able to make that as well! 10/10 recommend! FEMALE DJ for the win, she did her thing and we will be back!

Google
Beautiful place in decor! They have the knife spelled in red for instagram photos! However Very lackluster service, had to ask him to come to our table when we been sitting for at least 15 minutes while he waited on a couple in the booth next to us who already ate. He was making sure they had wine. Presentation of the food was great! But it is okay in taste. However the bar guy was great! I wouldn’t go back sorry. 😞only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because we felt like they didn’t care if we were there or not. With that being said I will take my money elsewhere.

The restaurant is visually stunning and made a great first impression, but the service didn’t live up to it. We waited 20 minutes without water or acknowledgment. Our server eventually showed up and tried to make it better, but had a bit of an attitude—and we never got her name. It was my birthday (noted in the reservation), but it went unacknowledged, which was disappointing. The entrees tasted good, but the plates looked sloppy, and my lamb was medium rare instead of the medium I asked for. On top of that, parking was $20. Overall, a nice atmosphere and decent food, but too many service missteps to fully enjoy the experience. For a $300 meal for 2, I expect everything to be immaculate.

For our anniversary we enjoyed the evening at Knife. The ambiance was smooth, the music was a vibe and at the perfect level. We were sat immediately and greeted with a warm welcome by Kaan. All of his selections from drinks to entrees were spot on. The kabobs were marinated just right and so juicy, the inferno marini was so refreshing, the shrimp ceviché was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Google
We *LOVEEEE* Knife. We have been 3 or 4 times and every single time the food is AMAZING. It’s reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The drinks are all good. The servers are always attentive and fast. Not to mention the restaurant is gorgeous with fun music. Highly recommend the beet salad, filet & shrimp kebabs

Yelp
I actually thought I wrote a review on this when we went for Father's Day this yr, but guess I forgot. Oh well, better late than never! Even though this wasn't my choice, and I was set up for the "okie-doke", it still ended being 7very nice! First off, the place is very nice and well decorated! I think I remember the health score being in the 90's. My husband got the steak, which was very good. I got some sort of pasta (can't remember the name of it), but it was good. Our waiter was also very attentive and informative. Oh, I can't forget the drink we had, some sort of tea or lemonade...off the chain good!! Too bad it was served in a small glass and no free refillls! Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, just be ready to come out ya pocket!

Yelp
PHENOMENAL FIND!! This was first time going to KNIFE. Incredible experience. The decor is stunning. Menu is vast. Our server, TIARA was superb and on point the whole evening. She guided us through the menu, explaining different dishes and making suggestions. The food was this side of perfection: the salmon was cooked perfectly (crispy on outside while soft and moist inside). The mushroom casserole devine (wanted to lick the plate; ask for a spoon). Shrimp starter was amazing. Had to pass our compliments to the manager. Entire staff were engaged and engaging. Rare find. Look forward to returning soon.

Yelp
So I enjoyed this place. I like Mediterranean food a lot so this was a good spot to check out. It is a little bit more on the somewhat expensive side so keep that in mind. But once you go in you'll kind of see why it's like that. First and foremost you have to pay for parking. If you go somewhere else and walk, that's an option, but here you might be paying about $20 to park ballet. There isn't a lot of option specifically here as far as self parking goal so just keep that in mind. After you get your car situated you'll come up the steps and you'll notice that they are spots for the outside sitting area. Like maybe or three or so couches are there which is nice because if it's a nice day you get to sit on the main street and drink your drink, it's seems very comfortable. I was walking to the door and the doorman open the door and gave a greeting so I thought that was really good starting off as far as customer service goes. Ended up coming in and getting seated right by the door but the whole restaurant is beautiful. There's vines hanging to give to an ambiance comment is fairly dim and lit but nothing wrong with that. If you go toward the back there's a lot more light and a lot more tables to sit at versus booths. The bar is super big and very well put together and organized. Waitress was super nice and gave a lot of explanations to the menu. Gave her suggestions, I thought that was awesome, I really wish that I remember her name unfortunately, but all of the wait staff I've talked to there have been very nice and very pleasant to talk to. So a gold stock for everybody across the board. Coming during happy hour was a good move, you have small bites and drinks that are available on the happy hour menu between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. throughout the week. It made me want to try quite a few things just because! Shrimp bravas - This was basically cooked shrimp, what seems to be off the grill, in a spicy sauce. They were about five shrimp there, so it was cooked okay, but the sauce was the star that show for this dish. It had an impact, it was tangy and spicy and gave a lot of flavor! Brussel sprouts - The brussel sprouts are okay. They seemed like they were missing something though. They may have had maybe salt and pepper but not a lot of flavor as far as anything else but the char because they were fried. But let me tell you, using the shrimp bravas spicy sauce on them really sent them over the top. So that was a major key for that appetizer! Caesar salad - Caesar salad was okay, nothing major. Could you a little more dressing but it was good overall, but it was a salad so it wasn't anything out of the box. Marinated chicken - So for the entree I end up getting to marinated chicken. Now the mayonnaise chicken was okay, it was almost $30 and it came with basically one skewer of chicken. Typically I would have expected more than one skewer so I don't know if it was worth it for the price. And one schooler had about perhaps seven or eight pieces of chicken. It was grilled pretty well, it was a little bit more affirm than I would like, I would usually like the chicken to be tender to the touch versus a little bit harder, well let me not say harder but at the same time, the chicken was not as tender as I would have liked it to be. But it had a pretty decent flavor though so I'm not super mad about that but it was just to note. It came with a nice helping of rice, a cooked tomato and a cooked yellow pepper, and some pickled onions for what it looks like. Everything was really tasty though overall. The rice was really good. I didn't really eat the whole tomato, but I know what a tomato supposed to taste like so They basically just put it on the grill for a little bit to give it some char and some heat to Go with the chicken. It came on a piece of pizza, not a really big piece but just enough to lay under the chicken. Inferno - ended up getting a drink because there was a lot of stuff going on and I had to move my table so the drink was good. It was a tequila based drink and it was spicy and I appreciate it the tequila and the spice that went into it. So if you like a little heat, the inferno was a good choice. Overall at the end of the day, this is a really good spot for if you have a group setting. It's also would be a really good spot for happy hour and if you wanted to do a date situation as well.

Yelp
It's a very beautiful restaurant, the servers were kind and attentive and all the food i had was very delicious but i wasn't a fan of the sushi roll but that's just personal preference, I will say valet is $5 and they will charge you $8 for the water lol and it's automatic gratuity... I wish that information was displayed that's my only reason for 4 stars but over great restaurant !

Yelp
Knife Modern Mediterranean is a fantastic spot in ATL for food, drinks, and hookah with a relaxed vibe. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the drink selection didn't disappoint. They've got a great setup for hookah, making it an ideal spot for unwinding with friends. The music added to the ambiance, creating a chill but lively atmosphere. Service was good as well.

Yelp
Food service ambiance is stellar. I can't wait to go back!!! Valet parking $20 bucks. Patio has a beautiful ambiance/decor. Walking in, it feels like you've travelled somewhere. Between the chain link knife sign, dark lighting, beautiful decor I felt transported. Let's address the lighted menu. Stunning. Lots of touches that enhance the experience. Staff was great! Food was great!! I did the popular lamb and was not disappointed. Cocktails were nice. Hookahs start at $60. Just lovely
google avatar

Yelp
Had an amazing time, Engin made our experience nice. The lamb chops were tender & delicious. The atmosphere is nice!

Yelp
Knife is definitely a good vibe and one of those trendy spots with the flower wall, table service hookah and a DJ. Portions are big and prices are in line with what you would expect with an automatic 20% gratuity added. I had the lamb chops and they were good but not amazing. It's a great spot to celebrate your birthday or have a nice dinner with friends.
google avatar

Jeanelle W.

Yelp
For parking, I did valet. I'm not sure if there were any other options available, if there were, I didn't see them. I came here to celebrate a friends birthday because she saw it posted on Tiktok. The decor was very nice and they had a live dj when we arrived, which was cool. Everyone ordered Martinis but I opted for an old fashioned. They ordered fried Brussel sprouts for the table and they were seasoned to perfection! I didn't get a chance to get a photo because they were so good! That and I arrived late. For the entree, the birthday girl went with the lamb chops, which she enjoyed and I had a shrimp entree. I don't remember the exact name but I know I took left overs home. Idk if the shots were free or if someone paid, but I do like that they came out with a birthday sign and a whole shot experience to celebrate my girl! There are multiple places for a good IG photo opp if that's your thing. As the night went on, it started to get pretty busy. When it came towards paying for the bill, we were not able to split our check multiple ways. So one person ended up paying and we sent her money via Cash App/ Zelle. Overall, it was a venue that I can say I went to but I'm in no rush to return.

L T.

Yelp
They got a one star because the food was good. The ambiance is awful and the service is worse. I still don't know what our server's name is. We got our food before the hookah and ordered hookah 30 minutes prior. The drinks were ok... Again...SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Make it worse they add gratuity for shitty service

Yelp
Cute trendy restaurant here in Atlanta. Parking was 10 dollars right next to restaurant. Decor was cute and staff was nice. Flower wall at entrance for pics. We were here for a birthday dinner and it seems they go all out for birthdays. They brought out sparklers and a neon sign it was really cute. I ordered the salmon and it was really delicious it came with saffron rice and asparagus. I enjoyed my order my partner got the burger which unfortunately was very hard on one side. The meat seem to have been in the microwave or oven for way too long but they did take the burger off of our receipt so that was acceptable. I think this place is probably best suited for special occasions or here and there. The hookah was $60 so I thought that was very pricey but I would definitely check it out and see for yourself.

Yelp
I actually was pleasantly surprised. Knife is located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. I went to Knife for a birthday dinner and it was a pretty nice experience. This is a Mediterranean restaraunt that offers beautifully plated dishes and drinks. They also offer hookah if that's your thing. The food and drinks I had were pretty good. I ordered the salmon, which came with rice and fingerling potatoes. Everything was tasty in my book. Their cocktails are beautiful as well. This definitely is a place for an experience. The aesthetics in the restaurant are very nice and picture worthy. They also offer pictures to purchase. We went on a Sunday night and there was a dj that definitely had the tunes going and created a great vibe. Our waiter was good and pretty attentive given we were such a huge party. They definitely go out for birthdays, but again that's an extra charge. This place is more so for special occasions in my opinion as they are pretty pricy. Everything adds up. They only have valet and that's $20 plus an additional $1 if you use Apple Pay or CashApp.

Yelp
Neiman Marcus prices, Food Depot quality. Rated 1 star for the ambiance & 1 star for our server.
google avatar

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Good service and great decor. The food was just ok though. I think I just order the wrong thing, beet salad with salmon, but I wasn't hungry for anything else on the menu. I did have a bite of the burger and it was small but delicious . I think I missed out trying to have the healthier option lol. I'm definitely open to going back with a bigger appetite.
google avatar

Yelp
Knife is certainly one of a kind. The food was outstanding but the parking was horrible. Also, they wouldn't let us valet but as we turned around, there were several cars pulled in and parked for valet. The vibe is great - extremely friendly and there were so many birthdays - it seemed like every table had a birthday celebration!
google avatar

Brionta P.

Yelp
Honestly prior to coming here I really did not know what to expect. It's not my vibe. It's giving Pasha. The hookah, the live DJ, the photographer. I wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into. This isn't a restaurant this is a lounge. We came here on a whim and there was a magazine release party going on for Magic City. I mean this had to be a joke, right? The restaurant- lounge thingy or whatever you want to call it, is for a particular crowd. It was checking my purse before I entered and sat and that really made me roll my eyes! The restaurant itself is spacious. The décor of the standard Atlanta restaurant. Knife has the potential to be something great but the route they chose, YIKESSSS! A little rebranding could turn this place around. The service was great. Everything was bought out in a timely manner. The drinks were good. Our sever was super sweet. Very personable. The food itself was okay. I don't think I'm really into Mediterranean food. It always comes out dry and flavorless. I ordered the salmon, and it was butchered, like it was already dead, but it died again in that kitchen. I also go the Greek Octopus; I mean they did what they could. Not appetizer at all! My friend ordered the seafood linguine and didn't even bother with it. No flavor. The sauce wasn't creamy. The calamari were decent. The dining experience was 2/10. I'm not sure about the parking as we walked over from MCK. But I believe it's valet only.

Yelp
Stopped here to check out the establishment after hearing so much about it.. So was during Saturday for lunch.. Wasn't crowded, valet parking available, sat at the bar and watched the game and ordered the Shrimp Bravas and side of rice.. Food was really good, my server name was Hannah and she was amazing!! Really good.. Nice vibe and the ambience was great definitely have to check this out during the dinner time.. They have a small patio area for service as well which was cool. I enjoyed my experience there!
google avatar

Shamika R.

Yelp
Food was decent but not worth the price. Valet of course was $20, typical "upscale restaurant" in ATL. I don't recommend the hummus and unfortunately wouldn't come back. Not impressed. Service was good though!
google avatar

Aja F.

Yelp
This is a place to come and eat and enjoy people. The setting is romantic but it's a big social gathering. The DJ came in and was playing all the good R&B. The service was good up until my whole group got their food except me. I will be back but just not with a huge party. If your a party over 6 the check is combined. Nice place to take pictures. Can't go wrong with the restaurant.

Yelp
Knife restaurant truly impressed with a perfect blend of aesthetics and flavors. The decor creates an Instagram-worthy setting, offering amazing photo opportunities. The staff is not only friendly but went above and beyond to make my friend's birthday celebration memorable with a fantastic display. The unique dishes served were bursting with flavor, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen. Our overall experience was outstanding, and I highly recommend Knife to others seeking a combination of great food, friendly service, and a visually appealing ambiance.

Yelp
Knife Mediterranean has become a go-to spot for me, having visited twice, and I can confidently say that it's a place I genuinely enjoy. While it might not be a top contender for my favorite in terms of food, the overall experience, vibrant atmosphere, and exceptional customer service make it a restaurant worth exploring. On my first visit, I organized a dinner with friends during the week. Despite the restaurant being almost full, the ambiance was lively yet not overwhelming. Our waiter was attentive, ensuring that drinks and food arrived promptly. Speaking of drinks, the Purple Rain and Pink Smash have become my signature choices--perfectly catering to my sweet-tooth. If you share my preference for sweet beverages, these are a must-try. Sampling a variety of appetizers, I found the Shrimp Bravas and Las Fritas to be a bit lackluster. However, the Lobster Tail stole the show, accompanied by delightful roasted Brussels sprouts. Despite being labeled as an appetizer, it really can go for an entrée. My second visit, which was to celebrate a friend's birthday, turned out to be a memorable affair. Knife Mediterranean goes above and beyond to make your celebrations special. We were treated to complimentary cocktail drinks, a bottle of Champagne, and a generous slice of cheesecake--all unexpected! The birthday celebration included sparklers and personalized signs, creating an atmosphere of joy. The presence of a skilled DJ and the option for hookah added to the lively vibe. Parking options include self and valet, with prices varying in the Buckhead location, especially on different days. It's advisable to call ahead if you're concerned about pricing. While Knife Mediterranean is an excellent choice for various occasions with friends and family, it may not be the ideal place for children after dark.

Yelp
Very nice vibe and the food was delicious. I appreciate the hospitality of the staff as well.

Yelp
I remember reading others yelps prior to visiting this establishment and I didn't want their thoughts to persuade mine however so much of it was so accurate. The environment is extremely loud so don't expect to have an intimate conversation here. The server yelled across the table to take orders rather than coming around to us. The decor is nice and pretty but not the vibe I typically go for. The food was mediocre especially considering the prices. I tasted the Brussels and got the lamb kabob. The meat was not flavorful at all. I subbed the purple onion salad for a side of veggies which were probably the best thing they had to offer. I would likely not go to this establishment again. Side note I will say thought it was loud the music was good!
google avatar

DeRoyce R.

Yelp
I went here because I've heard good things about it. Its located on the corner of Peachtree Rd NE & Piedmont. As far as parking they only have valet and you pay them what you want. I made reservations but it was honestly plenty of tables available. I'm assuming it was a slow night. We only sat at the bar and had a few appetizers and drinks. Service was great and drinks were made perfectly. Would definitely return.
google avatar

Christina E.

Yelp
I went on a Wednesday around 7:30. There weren't many people in there, so my party of 9 sat quickly. The parking was $20 for the valet, which I hated because I was just going for a birthday dinner, but I should have known better because this is Atlanta. Anyway, we ordered salmon, chicken kabob, ceviche, antibodies appetizer, pasta, salad, and drinks. The food was cool overall. The salmon was my favorite. The ceviche needed added lime for extra flavor. The shrimp was just Ok. The ambiance was nice, and a Dj came afterwhile. Would I go back? Not on my own. If I was invited to an event from a friend I'd go, but it's not on my list of visiting again. I've scratched it off my list. IG/TikTok: @ChrissyEatsAtl

Yelp
Food was good, hookah is overpriced, but beautifully displayed. Service was good. Beautiful decor. However, just a standard overly priced ATL restaurant.
google avatar

Shavone G.

Yelp
I recently dined at Knife and was impressed by its charming interior and great ambiance. I sampled several dishes, including the Brussels sprouts, lamb chop, ribeye, and fried ice cream. While the Brussels sprouts didn't quite hit the mark for me, the lamb chops were delicious, although I realized I should have ordered them medium well. The ribeye was well-prepared, and the fried ice cream was a delightful end to the meal. As I was leaving, I noticed a DJ setting up, which piqued my interest in the evening vibe.

Yelp
I absolutely love everything about Knife! I feel like I'm an ambassador how much I brag about everything here! From the food, hookah, and drinks-- FANTASTIC. It's so adorable inside!!! From the decor down to the drinkware, everything is beautiful. It's such a vibe all the time. Love the music & the dj they have. The entire staff is so friendly!! This is not a reach, but it's the BEST hookah in Atlanta BY FAR. The food is so full of flavor and great portions. Their drinks are always so good too!
google avatar

Kathy H.

Yelp
We celebrated our daughter's birthday and the service and ambiance were stellar ! We especially enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and fried lobster apps. The shrimp app was a bit overcooked and flavors were not on par with the other food we ordered. The New York Strip and shrimp kebab were excellent. We enjoyed ourselves very much and received a complimentary dessert due to our daughter's birthday. It's a fun place to go!

Dan D.

Yelp
Their was a bug in my wine & the bartender didn't apologize, she just replaced it. She wasn't polite nor have good customer service. Everyone that spoke to her she seemed as if she had an attitude. The food was nasty, nothing had any flavor and my vegetables was cold. At first I was wondering why people left half plated food on their tables & not take them home until I tasted it myself. Oh & the hookah is over priced. Valet is $20

Geno P.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Ali and the staff accommodated me and my girlfriend with short notice. Appetizers are worth ordering several without an entree. Nice place to enjoy with someone special
google avatar

Roz J.

Yelp
The food was ok, I've had better (Meat was chewy) Ambiance was spectacular We went on a Saturday so be prepared place is loud and happening $20 was valet parking (park yourself) at the back. I guess i paid for the parking spot and not the valet service.
google avatar

Tandra C.

Yelp
First let me just say I love the atmosphere of this restaurant! I went here on my birthday and there were about 13 of us. They were able to accommodate us as well as about three other large parties in the back room. This restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing and great for content creators or people wanting to take great photos. The service was excellent! They waited on us hand and foot and made me feel super special for my birthday! I had heard mixed reviews about the food but I'm really glad that it I went and checked it out for myself. Everything was delicious and everyone loved their food. My favorite was the lamb chops, lamb tenderloin and the calamari. But my friends also love their food as well I will add pictures. I would definitely go back specifically for the lamb and the calamari and I'm not even a calamari person. Also the drinks were good no complaints there at all. The bathrooms were also super clean. What I will say is that the price point was high our bill came to about over one thousand dollars. After 8:00 p.m. there was a DJ which we loved! We were able to enjoy the music! Lastly what I did not like and the only issue I have is that we had to pay for valet for the rest of that we were going to to spend a ton of money. But we expected to pay for parking being in Buckhead. I highly recommend it mostly for special occasions or if you don't mind spending it's a great time!
google avatar

Sammy D.

Yelp
The perfect date night place! They have a DJ that comes in after 9 and he plays throw back R&B. The calamari was very tasty. The Branzino was a whole fish and was so Juicy. They have a couple of flower walls to take pictures. I recommend doing a reservation. The server was very polite and attentive. Definitely will be going back!
google avatar

Anna K.

Yelp
Wow. Everything was top tier- ambiance, service, food, drinks & the DJ playing all the right songs. Was on a work trip to Atlanta for the weekend and saw this spot all over Instagram so figured it'd be a good spot to have an early birthday dinner. Drink was strong enough but still Delicious. The pistachio crusted scallops and seafood pasta were the highlights. I'm not usually crazy about pasta but something about this one impressed me. The Adana kebab and octopus were the runner ups, but overall everything that came out was so tasty. Highly, highly recommend.
google avatar

Jayla T.

Yelp
Nice ambience but very hot inside . Drinks were great food lacked flavor . A nice place to have drinks
google avatar

Eryn H.

Yelp
Knife was just okay. I love Mediterranean food and all the flavor but knife didn't come through with the flavors for me. The food was bland and I needed salt and pepper. The ambience is really nice and service is good but this is another overpriced place where you are paying for the aesthetic versus the food. Drinks are good but they put a huge ice cube in them so you get about 2 sips for $25. I did enjoy the fried ice cream because that's different and the lamb shank was really good but everything else we just okay at best.. I prefer other Mediterranean places like divans or pasha.
google avatar

Kimeko M.

Yelp
Now THIS is the Atlanta dining experience we've been missing. A few friends and I made reservations here for my birthday and I have ZERO regrets. As soon as we walked in, we were seated (mind you, it was 7 pm and a bit earlier in the evening). I brought a cake with me from Publix that was stored in the fridge until it was time to cut it. The server was incredibly sweet and came by regularly to check on us. We got free shots for my birthday! The ambiance is your typical Atlanta set up with greenery and hookah, but the service is unmatched IMO. If the vibe isn't your deal, come for the food. I had a steak skewer with rice and the best pickled onions anyone could ever ask for. The steak was perfectly done. No complaints here and we will definitely be back!

Yelp
The ambiance is very nice. It's really a vibe. The service is very good. Our server was very attentive, kind and knowledgeable. There is a DJ and he is talented and very entertaining. The food is just fine. 7/10 It's palatable and doesn't taste bad. It's okay. My rating of 4/5 is purely based on the following facts: It's Tuesday at 11:45pm Parking is $20 yet the lot is practically empty The server is 5/5 The decor is beautiful. Impeccable details that are instagram worthy. The music is a vibe mixed with the decor making the ambiance the perfect formula for vibing out with your boo or kicking with your friends. Someone at a nearby table had a birthday and the servers came out with a celebratory LED sign like you see in clubs. It was a good time. The food was "okay" ... I'd come back for the ambiance and maybe drinks. There is hookah too.. of course! I don't smoke but people seemed to enjoy their portion.

Yelp
Knife needs to be clear about their policy for entry. We are not used to being patted down at a restaurant and find it unacceptable. This should be clearly stated on the website as we would've avoided this establishment. Since we didn't want to be patted down we left and went to a proper restaurant. Also knife charged $10 to self park on a Sunday. At proper fine dining restaurants a few doors down valet us less than $5 and they don't frisk you to eat food. I say stay away.

Yelp
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I was delighted to try Knife Modern Mediterranean. The environment is cozy, dimly lit, sensual yet lively. I would say it is great for birthday dinner, business dinners or just a weekday treat and it has several nice photo opportunities throughout the restaurant. The service was top notch, the hostess and managers were willing to jump in to help waiters and waitresses who may have taken a while to return or being a check. Very collaborative environment. VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY DEFINITELY CARNIVORE FRIENDLY Although there isn't a kid's menu, with a little one I know how picky kids can be and you will most likely find 1 or 2 meals for kids under 6. The food is your traditional Mediterranean dishes with kabobs, hummus, leafy salads and lamb. If you haven't been I suggest you book your reservation soon because there will not be any disappointment.

Yelp
At first I was skeptical about coming here because new restaurants in atl tend to be overhyped in the beginning which is why I chose to wait before going right when I opened. 3 months later and I was really impressed bu this place. Up arrival they have valet option (which was actually cheaper $8 then self parking $10). The first half of of the rest was more lit and seemed more causal compared to the back side of the restaurant where it has more dimmed lighting. The overall vibe of the restaurant was really nice and way bigger than expected from the outside. Our waiter Steven was pretty cool, we started off with the Brussel sprouts and kabob as an appetizer. The kabob however seemed more like an entree when it arrived which I was surprised. Just from eating the appetizers both my friend and I was full from that alone so we diced to split the main entree which was the lamb shank. Very tasty, moist and delicious. Overall everything about this place was really good. From the food to the service to the ambiance. I look forward to coming back take pictures at their rose wall.

Yelp
This restaurant is really wonderful. All the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the hummus. Very original perfect tasting dish. The small plates can easily make a meal. I ordered the small plate of lamb chops. It came with two and with a side of tasty potatoes. This restaurant is very Instagram worth. Plenty of photo opts, cleverly placed. Food reviews Hummus (yes) Brussel Sprouts (meh) Lamb (yes) Pita (yes) Tiramisu (YES!) Cheesecake (yes) My only con was our experience felt rushed. And valet was dishonest about the parking. I requested offsite parking and they charged me 20 for on sight parking. Pay attention to how your ticket is marked. Xavier Duax was the dishonest Valet attendant.

It was not busy at that time but you can't go wrong having a reservation in advance. They are very popular on the weekends so plan accordingly! / : Staff we interacted with were lovely. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions!! : They require Business casual but feel free to glam it up! Shown in order: - Mare Magnum Calamari: Herb tomato and tartar sauce - Lamb Chops: Australian lamb loin, fingerling potatoes (sub waffle fries), asparagus - Salmon Menorca: Asparagus, saffron rice, pan lemon butter sauce N/A They have fried ice cream AND crème brûlée!
