This is a quaint and adequate venue that accommodates about 300 (estimate). There are two bars, unfortunately on my visit the bar located in the stage area was closed so we had to navigate back and forth to the bar near the entrance. The bartenders were very nice, friendly and fast. Security is thorough and respectful. The "green room" leaves something to be desired and could use a drastic make over. Overall I do like this venue. They have some very good Hip Hop shows.

Very small venue, probably around 200-300 people max capacity. Went to a very intimate concert for VNV Nation and loved it. The sound was okay, there were a few issues while they were performing and they had stop half way through the set to fix the sound monitors. Other than that the show went smoothly and all the crew were very nice.

I went to the knitting factory for the first time recently for the “Black Soprano Family take over” show. It was definitely a great time. Apparently it was the last hip hop show they’re having, and it was said that the venue is closing soon which is unfortunate. The knitting factory is a extremely small venue with a small capacity that provides a unique experience for both the patrons and entertainers. The drinks were priced reasonably for the location, ticket prices were fair, and it was easy to get in and out. I’ve been to many venues in the city over the last several years and it’s a shame I only got to experience this one once.

Went there with a friend to see Meresha and their band. The music was cool, First time experiencing something like that. The bouncers were friendly and the staff was helpful. The overall vibe is really nice, open space, clean stage, we got to meet the performers and that was fun, my favorite was the guitarist who was very laid back and overall cool dude who had some serious slash vibes to him, also met a local there who helped us talk to the lead singer, really nice people will go back sometime. A+

Great venue for seeing bands. Just big enough to be where there is no bad "seat" and you always get the up close experience. Parking is easy to find in the neighborhood and there's great tacos next door and pizza across the street. Love this place!

Security dude was cool AF. I saw GHOSTMANE & FREEWILL. The show was lit and I chilled out front with some of the performers. Brooklyn heads are cool.

Had a ton of fun at the knitting factory seeing a band. The front part of the bar is really cool also, it's entirely separate from the band room. The bartenders were very friendly and were attentive to who is standing there waiting for a beverage. I would definitely return here and am keeping an eye out to see what other bands I like will be a playing there. It's very close to the pod hotel which is in walking distance which was very convenient also.
