Been about 6 months since our last dine in - Habachi is the way to go, chef had a great sense of humor. Now carry-out is equally as awesome, prices are MORE than fair for the serving sizes. Great value for the price, HIGHLY recommend the super fried rice bowl. Only recommendation is to make the side salads (with the amazing ginger dressing) either 1. Bigger or 2. Lower the price from $4 so I can order two!

My experience was absolutely horrible! The ceiling leaked in the middle of eating my meal and poured down water on me, my phone, my food, and my drinks. No one came over to help me clean the water, no one apologized, I had to find an employee and ask if I could move my seat. I finally received a box for my food and headed home to change clothes since mine were soaked. I usually love eating here but it might be my last time. (Replying to Kobe) I’ve called several times to speak with a manager and every time I call there’s no manager in the building. So while leaving your number for me to call is nice, however there’s no manager ever around to take my call.

Ate here with some friends for dinner and had the hibachi meal. We all enjoyed our food and the presentation was fun without being over the top or too much. The wait staff was attentive and the restaurant was clean and well lit. I especially enjoyed the hibachi shrimp and fried rice. The beers are a tad expensive at 7 dollars each but everything else on the menu looked to be priced fairly and within expectations. This is a fun place for a night out with friends and a would be a cool third or fourth date place as the atmosphere allows you to talk without having to holler.

Love this place! New to TX, only been twice but it was good each time. Fresh, made to order. Appreciate the soup and salad before the meal.

Google
Great place to visit. It was our first of many. Service was great (server was Don) and food was fresh. If your like me and like fresh greens just ask for side salad and oil, squeeze lemon and soy sauce with your choice of sashimi. The martinis were exceptional. They didn’t have the Japanese whisky, daikon or radish yet meal was very good. Must visit on your Sushi experience belt.

We visited Kobe Japanese Steakhouse in Austin with our two teenagers. It was their first time, and they liked it very much. The chef's performance was fun, and the food was delicious. A great spot for a family dinner.

Google
I went here on a first date at about 6pm. When we entered we did have to wait about 20-30 minutes because the place was busy. Once a table became available we were escorted to a table. We were seated with another group of people at our table. Shortly after being seated, our orders were taken & our chef arrived at our table. He was very funny and charismatic. He really created a fun, & happy vibe around the table & made everyone at the table laugh as he cooked the food. The food was delicious. This place really made a great location for a first date & my date & I left very satisfied with our experience.

Best sushi I've ever had, hands down. Each bite was so delicious that both my stomach and my heart were very satisfied. Soup = warm, mild, and lovely Salad = fresh, crisp and appetizing Sushis = truly fresh and the B E S T Ice cream dessert = great end to the meal. They had areas that were away from the hibachi bars, which were perfect for us since we wanted to be alone in peace, not around others and away from the cooking sounds. The areas were nice and cozy, very comfortable. The servers were very patient and accommodating, even recommended dishes and knew them by heart. Overall a wonderful experience, from food to hospitality. I would absolutely love to dine here again!

Yelp
Giving the older man the 5 star. Either he's a manager or just front desk sitting customers not sure but one friendly and welcoming guy! It was my birthday and decided to come here, he got us seated right away, he made sure I got a free cheesecake which was DELICIOUS and he gave me chopsticks which was so thoughtful. Food was good m, totally just a great experience. Restrooms and areas seemed clean enough. Only thing was waiting awhile for a chef to come over to our table but not sure if that's the normal or not. Good experience here for the most part. Thank you for my gifted chopsticks!

Yelp
My sister planned to take us here for my mom's birthday dinner and it was alright. The staff there are super friendly and just like every hibachi place, you can't be seated until your party is all present. My sister and her fiance were running late and so we were asked to sit and wait (party of 6) until they showed up and then we were sat at the table. We had 3 others joined us before our server came to take our order for drinks and appetizes. We took a minute to review before she came back and I ordered some edamame, and some sashimi for an appetizer. The edamame came out quickly but the others didn't come out until just before the hibachi chef came to our table to start cooking. I ordered white rice for my hibachi with shrimp and veggies. The food was not too bad, the sushi I definitely enjoyed more than my veggies and shrimp only because the shrimp was overcooked. The chef gave me fried rice but I guess he wasn't looking at the chart that the server gave him because he also gave my sister's fiance fried rice but he wanted udon noodles instead. We weren't charged extra for the error which was nice though! It was very loud inside so I will say it's very difficult to talk with other people on the table except for the people next to you. Everyone is shouting and everything echos inside since it's concrete floors and ceilings. We had brought a cake but since my family didn't want to stay for cake due to it being too loud, we asked the server for it back to take home and enjoy.

Yelp
The food was okay. The staff did not care about us at all. The table and both were sticky. Granted we went for lunch but it wasn't a win for us. Seemed like a big waist of time and money.

Bhagyashree B.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Everything was as it should be at a Hibachi restaurant but the wow factor and food quality was missing. There are several entree options for Teppanyaki - we chose vegetables udon noodles and teriyaki chicken. Both dishes were ok but lacking somewhere in taste, noodles had too much soy sauce and teriyaki chicken was missing the zing. The fire show was ok, not as elaborate as some other Hibachi themed restaurants. Typically, they always cook vegetable entree first, but our chef served it last so it was fried on the same grill as fish and steak so my fish ended up with those flavors that I don't like. Soup and salad were more appetizing than the main entree. Service was attentive although they brought out our check quickly, without being asked as if trying to get us to leave, perhaps to accommodate others in line.

Yelp
Father's Day dinner at KOBE was so much fun! My dad loves Benihana, and unfortunately since there isn't one in Austin I was excited to find a highly rated alternative, and KOBE did not disappoint. They only take hibachi reservations for parties of 6 or more, but we were lucky and our party of 4 was able to walk in and get seated immediately. Our server was patient with all our questions and modifications to our orders (for example my sister ordered the teriyaki chicken but without the teriyaki sauce, and they accommodated that). The meal is on the expensive side, but you get a salad, soup, rice (slight upcharge for fried rice), main entree and a fun show for the price! The chef was skilled and made it an engaging and interactive experience. Everyone around the table enjoyed it. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion experience!

Yelp
My husband and I had yet to exerpience a good HIBACHI type place. We knew going in, we would have to share the table. We had a nice couple sitting accross from us. But, what got us, was the family they sat in the middle. Now, if I was this family, I would have sat in the tables in the front of the restuarant. They were vegans, as they told the waiter. So, they were not interested in the cooking process. Only reason I can think, is for the two young children, around 7,,but they did not seem to care...then, they had 1 in highchair, who definatly was not interested. So, in the beginning, you get soup and salad to go with meal. Salad comes with a "ginger" type dressing, but the guy in the family asked the waiter if it had "dairy" in it, and the waiter said "yes, as it did have mayo". So, while the cook started to prep, they ate their seeweed salad. They order their vegetables, and waiter said that would come from kitchen, which was right behind us. Our waiter was great refilling my husband's soda. But, unfortunately they serve the soda in plastic bottle...which had carbination build up and sprayed upon opening! Why do they have this? No fountain in back? Our cook was not very energetic either. He just verified with everyone what ordered. I had the seafood feast and my husband got the steak, so we could have a little of both. We heard the cook from another table more animated and even singing "bye bye bye" to some of the food! LOL. When, we saw all the vegetables on the table top, we thought it belonged to family. We found out after all of us had our rices, and our meats...the vegetables were part of meals too. We struggled to find room on our plates. I just can't imagine this family watching this..all this meat being cooked......especially the uncooked egg for the fried rice. The cook went away and the family still did not get what they ordered, so they yelled into the kitchen to "hurry up". Finally, they got their two plates of vegetables, which they split between the two kids too. I was just sad to see them eat that, with all the meat the cook prepared. The food was good, but it just seemed the presentation was not there, the waiter was just there in beginning and serve check at the end.

Yelp
Craving a fun and delicious dining experience? Look no further than Kobe Japanese Steakhouse! The chefs are the stars of the show, cooking up fresh, flavorful food right in front of you with playful antics. It's perfect for birthdays or groups, and the portions are generous. If crowds aren't your thing, opt for a quieter seat near the bar.

Yelp
Kobe has been one of my favorite lunch spots since 2010 or so. Today, I met an old friend to catchup and we had lunch at a normal table (vs at the grill), which is how they're handling lunch these days. We both got the samurai steak medium rare with fried rice and it also comes with miso soup. Its $14.95 for the lunch special now (extra for fried rice) but you also have other similar options like Teriyaki chicken, fish, veggie, or tofu. The samurai steak comes with two dipping sauces and veggies and the cook on it is always great. The veggies and fried rice hit the spot too. While you don't get the grill show at lunch, I don't really feel like I need it after having seen it and similar shows a have dozen times before. Service is always friendly and good.

Yelp
What a show. It's been a long while since I've been here and I had forgotten how engaging and entertaining the chefs are as they prepare the food at your table. I had the noodles and chicken and my wife had the noodles and steak. They all come with stir fried vegetables, a very mild ginger tasting broth, and white rice. Other additions or substitutes are available at extra charge.Your food is prepared for you right at your table around the large flat top grills and what a show it is. The chef engages with the diners as he shows off his knife and spatula skills which are very impressive by themselves then he adds touches of fire and flame throughout as well. If you are looking for a dining experience and a show at the same time, this is the place to go. The chicken teriyaki was very good and my wife really enjoyed the noodles and steak as well. If you have room after the pile of food the present, you can end it off with a delicious cheesecake drizzled with caramel and chocolate for desert. Of course, they also offer a selection of wines and beers.

Yelp
We went as a family of 6 on a Saturday afternoon and most of the tables were empty. The place is older but clean. Drink service was quick, and our chef arrived promptly. As expected, he was deft with his instruments and kept us all entertained, especially fascinating our thirty month old grandson. He cooked a variety of food from rice, veggies, and steak to scallops and everything was cooked to order. Portion sizes were good, and everyone was happy with their meals. We had a good time, ate well, and would go again.

Yelp
Hard to believe this place stays in business I don't believe anyone that works here actually eats the food they serve/prepare. For starters restaurant wasn't even half full and it looked way understaffed. For starters we showed up and the restaurant was half full and it took 30 minutes to be seated and once seated another 30 minutes before anyone took our order and even longer to find someone to prepare the $300 in cost of food and drinks. No spectacular fire show or any creative use of the cooking Utensils, basically lit 3 round onions on fire And broke them up into pieces and mumbled some weird movie sayings while the 7 of us just stared at each other because it was just weird. If you ask for refills or deserts be prepared to wait 20 minutes each time. Teriyaki Chicken was tasteless and dry Yakimono New York Steak tough and tasteless Edamame was decent Shrimp stir fry plain and tasteless Fried Jalapeños was the best $12.95 price for 2 jalapeños Tiny Modelo beer $7 lol Glass of lemonade child size $5.50 Soup had 2 slices of weird tasting mushroom and some wears dirty water in it not soup. Tiny bowls of salad were decent tasting. Small desert $12.95 Gyoza $8.50 Well you get the hint, if your looking for a great experience then don't go, the only thing I like about this experience is the fact I'll never spend a dime in this establishment ever again. To many great place near us that are less expensive and have way better food. Message me if you would like to know where.

Yelp
Good things about this place: Popular with birthdays, and super packed on Saturdays! Their ingredients are super fresh and plentiful! Very tasty! Cons: it gets so loud, conversations are challenging. Heavy on the sauces. And it depends on who is your cook, if they like to put up a show or not. And because it was over booked, we did feel rushed out. As they bring the to go boxes shortly after food was served. Haven't done Hibachi in years and planned a get together to celebrate my directorship. Little did I know this place gets so packed! I'm glad I made reservations. Their communication on paper and the confirmed reservation text were not synced, causing this visit start off with some stress. But the manager luckily did his best to accommodate and seated our party within 30 minutes.

Yelp
AMAZING!!! We had an amazing experience and the best waiter, Luke, and hibachi chef his name was JAMES BOND and he sang and was the best time!! Food amazing! Vibes amazing!!

Kaitlyn E.

Yelp
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! If you get James Bond you're so lucky, the staff is amazing and the food is delicious!!!!

Jake H.

Yelp
Kobe Japanese Steakhouse is one of the best hibachi places I've been too. Our grill master was engaging with the children and it was a much better experience than some of the other places. The downside of our visit was that a large group of tween girls were there for a birthday at the table next to us. Kobe was quite busy that night. I got the steak and chicken combo. There definitely was enough for leftovers. Thanks Kobe for a great evening!!

Vedette V.

Yelp
Fun place to eat with yummy food and a good show. This is a place you visit once in awhile as it's a bit pricey. I passed on the adult beverages. My sister and her boyfriend ordered two and it was $26. No thanks. She said they weren't even all that. We went with a big group. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and hibachi shrimp and it was good. Most people in my party ordered the 2 entree. My boyfriend ordered the petite filet mignon and everyone agreed it was fabulous. I recommend the spicy garlic edamame and definitely get the fried rice not the steamed. We shared the fried bananas and ice cream. AMAZING. The chef seemed to be a bit rushed and the table we got was right by the kitchen so it wasn't the table with the most ambiance.

Paul R.

Yelp
We had a VIP in town and we celebrated his great report card by taking him to his favorite place, hibachi dining! You come here for the hibachi chef show and Kobe does not disappoint. Our chef did a great job keeping us entertained and making sure junior was a part of the show. Our food was cooked perfectly per our requests and there was plenty of it. I was able to spice up my dish with chili oil. Solid 4-star experience.

Sandra C.

Yelp
Lucky you if you have Luke and James Bond! Food and service IMACULANTE. You will not be disappointed.

Eric G.

Yelp
Stopped for lunch. Short and sweet. The grill and sushi were great, service was great, and prices were fine $40 for two lunches and a basic roll

Kendra B.

Yelp
I had the best time celebrating my birthday here tonight!!! The staff was so fun and friendly, food was amazing, and the service was next level. We loved our hibachi chef! Will definitely be back for some karaoke hibachi with James Bond.

Stephen H.

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere and ambience! The food wasn't just great, but awesome! Thanks for giving my significant other and I a great dinner!

Margaret C.

Yelp
The food was surprisingly good but I went in with very low expectations. We came here for our parents birthday, so they were entertained by the cheesy performance. Overall, it smells very smoky inside, but the service was good, the guy cooking the food brought his best effort, but I was very turn off by a sitting fee . If you do not order $25 plus per person there's a $10 seating fee. Overall the value of food and experience for the price of $400 for our table of six is not something I plan to pay for ever again.

Lisa O.

Yelp
We had a party of nine attend a birthday dinner. We had to read the fine print in additional costs for everything. 1. If you're seated at the grill and order sushi but not an entree, you will be charged a $10 seating fee. 2. Fried rice is an additional $3. At the end of the meal the manager was unwilling to split the bill eight ways. He was only willing to split it two ways. What irked my husband was his attitude. He said, "Figure it out. Goodbye.", and walked away. This restaurant is certainly no Benihana. They nickel and dime you, and their manager with the cap was rude. Alex, who was our chef, and our waiter were both great. They offered to give the birthday boy a free slice of cheesecake but forgot. We had to bring it up after we paid and they packed it up to go.

Shardae C.

Yelp
The food was great!! We were greeted and seated immediately. The plum wine was delicious. The food (hibachi steak & salmon and hibachi chicken & shrimp) didn't need to be drowned in yum yum sauce. If you're a hibachi fan then you know what I mean if you've had that encounter before. Will be back for sure!

Chanel M.

Yelp
Being a Dash Pass member I always browse the "Offers" section for deals and Kobe had a deal for 20% off up to $5 your first order. Never been to Kobe before so I was definitely pleasantly surprised. I got the split fried rice bowl with hibachi chicken and grilled veggies ($17). The bowl comes with a house soup and a side of yum yum sauce but I added a side of mustard sauce as well. The house soup while simple looking with just a few mushrooms floating is so flavorful. You can upgrade to miso soup for extra but honestly the house soup is a perfect starter. The bowl was packed with tons of delicious fried rice and topped with alot of chicken and veggies (zucchini, carrots, onions, etc). They offer several sauces you can order on the side, however, the bowl comes with a side of yum yum sauce and I got an extra side of mustard sauce. I'm assuming the lighter one was the mustard but quite honestly I couldn't tell them apart but they were both outstanding to add to the bowl. I notice they offer some good looking lunch specials so I will definitely be back in the future... Yummy!

Kenny K.

Yelp
If you're looking for a solid hibachi experience, then this place is great. Chefs are fun and they do a lot of the standard tricks, and the service is excellent. Drink menu is pretty extensive and they have plenty of saki if that's your thing. They've got about 6 or so hibachi grill tables, so it's not too hard to find a spot to eat. All in all, it was a great experience, even if I'm fighting off a headache this morning from enjoying the drink menu a little too much.

Gracie R.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful. Very clean restaurant & very friendly staff. We went to celebrate two birthdays & couldn't believe all the delicious food that you get! We we're definitely entertained & brought home lots of leftovers!! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Alfre T.

Yelp
Food was outstanding and we really enjoyed the show. Highly recommend this place. Dr. Al

Mike W.

Yelp
The food and service was excellent. I highly recommend Cobi for a night out.!! Love the atmosphere.

Karen C.

Yelp
First place in Auston I have been to that takes temps AND sanitizes your hands. Enforces mask usage too! What a absolutely perfect meal too. Both had the pick 2. And some sushi. Best ever I've had!

Megan L.

Yelp
My first hibachi experience...and it was just okay. Everything is honestly really salty, and we had to wait a pretty long time even though we had a reservation. I do appreciate the manager (?) for being so accommodating with our large party size, but as for food, I thought it was truly just okay. The veggies were somehow also over salted, and all the meat no matter the cut and type tasted the same. It was still a fun experience with friends, but I would not come again.

Jeremy G.

Yelp
I'm visiting family here in Austin from Southern California. Decided to have Teppanyaki for dinner for our last night. We definitely got lucky, Edwin was our cook and Bobby was our server. Both did a great job. Food could use a bit more seasoning for my taste, but other then that, we enjoyed our dinners.

rebecca g.

Yelp
We have been here before but it's been a few years. Ate there yesterday for mothers Day with my family. The service was great. The food hasn't changed....still awesome. We loved the fun of watching the chef cook our meal. Everything was fresh and tasty. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The sushi was a work of art on the plate. So pretty. And I have leftovers for tomorrow! Yummmm! Can't wait to eat there again.

Alan F.

Yelp
Overpriced for what you get. Service was slow and food was not good. If you want hibachi go to Nagoya

A J.

Yelp
All of the various food was cooked to perfection. Plenty of food. That's for sure. Service was superb. Very attentive. The chef put on a good show. Overall great experience.

Jordan C.

Yelp
I went here friday June 30th. The guy doing the tricks barely did anything and barely interacted with us. It wasn't good entertainment at all and I regret going.

Krystal M.

Yelp
Went with a party of 12 only had one chef. All these places do the same thing or routine. instead if shrimp to catch in our mouth they did rice‍. Service was slow however I understand because of Covid that it would Be like that. Manager was rude not very accommodating. We're out of scallops, wouldn't go back.

Cameron W.

Yelp
It's been years since I've ate here. I can't remember what I had, I do remember I had a chef in front of me, great experience! I plan on coming back soon with a date

Alicia M.

Yelp
The service was awful. The waitress didn't address any of our concerns. We ask for some lemonade. And we never received the lemonade until it was almost time for us to leave. The table behind us received the last glass lemonade. They went there before us, but they received the rest of the lemonade and we were told we had to wait an additional 10 minutes. The food was extremely salty. We paid $100 for food that was not tasteful (extremely salty). The pasta is so thick in your mouth it leaves an awful feeling of texture in your mouth. There was another couple in front of us at the same table who were not very happy because of the way that they treated them. I would tell everyone, do not eat at this establishment. It is not any good whatsoever! The full experience is not worth the cost.

Jordan W.

Yelp
We went for a bachelorette celebration dinner. Our steak was raw, it was recooked and still it was raw. We got our waiters attention and they didn't even seem to care. We had to ask for discount on the meal. A manager did not come to our table and offer up an apology or anything. Definitely do not recommend this place.

Brelyn M.

Yelp
There are so many things that went wrong. We sat at the regular dining area away from the grills which was fine. 1) Ordered 3 shareable appetizers, which we said would be shared but we only had 2 plates. Fine, we came up with our own solution instead of waiting for the third plate that we asked for (and never came). 2) The dishes from our appetizers, soups, and salads sat on our table THE WHOLE TIME! 3) The waiter would come back to "check" on us but forget things we asked for like straws, plate, drinks, etc and not to mention, still didn't take any dirty dish. 4) Besides the waiter forgetting to bring things (which I'm sure contributed to my next statement), everything took a long time. 5) We order entrées and two of us ordered the pick 2 and chose salmon and steak. The waiter says "the steak is cooked medium, is that okay?" We both said yes. (This is a very important point, remember this). 6) Entrees come out and one of our salmon is cooked all the way through, but my salmon was basically raw with sauce on it. I showed it to the waiter and he had me put it on a plate. The salmon was on top of the veggies so I scrapped the veggies onto the plate too. 7) He brings the same salmon back out on the same plate. The veggies still on the plate and all. I look at it and then look at him and ask "is that the same salmon?" He said yes, which I knew because the veggies were still on there and it was cut up from when I initially saw it was raw. So I ask for a new one. 8) A new piece of salmon comes out on a fresh plate. I cut into it and it's still not cooked all the way through, still raw in the middle (photo). We tell the waiter and with frustration and aggravation in his face, he apologizes and begins to take it away. We say, "no, leave it here" and we ask for the manager. 9) The manager comes over and just goes straight into an explanation saying that their standard for salmon is always cooked medium. (Remember point #5) The waiter never asked if we were okay with our salmon being cooked medium, he asked about the steak. Furthermore, the other salmon and steak dinner had cooked salmon all the way through. So we ask him, "if medium is your standard, was this other salmon over cooked for your standard?" He asks her, "Oh, yours was cooked all the way through?" Then says "Well medium is our standard" then says "I admit, the first one was raw, but this one is medium and how we cook it." Then we ask, "you knew the salmon was raw and it went back on the grill after it being on someone's table, isn't that unsanitary?" He says that the grill kills the germs. Remember, the salmon came back out on the same plate with the veggies I scraped off my plate, so if there was any germs or whatever from the salmon that was killed from the grill, it's still on the veggies. He says, "We use sashimi grade salmon so you won't die or get sick from it." I just think to myself, he's missing the point, if a customer is sending salmon back to the kitchen for not being cooked all the way through, it's because they like to eat it a certain way. If a food can be cooked and eaten to different temperatures, then you ask "how would you like it cooked?" Like they did the steak. That didn't happen. At the end of it, I never got my salmon, but he took the two meals with the salmon off the bill. He walks away and LEAVES THE SALMON ON THE TABLE along with all the other dirty dishes FROM THE APPETIZERS, SOUPS, AND SALAD! 10) I wish I was done, but that wasn't it. The bill comes out, the 2 meals are off, and the total is $99.81. We decide to all split it (3ways) and we all give our cards. So, every time my card is ran, I get a notification. I get a notification that my card has been charged $56.65. After I said that, another person said they got charged the same. With those two charges alone, that's already over $112. He comes back out with the cards, we all look and all 3 of us got charged $56.65 for a $99.81 bill. He apologizes and says that he's sorry that "we keep putting you all through so much". After he went back and ran our cards again, I get the notification for a $33.27 charge. Cool. He comes back out, we all sign. Now, I'm usually a very generous tipper. Even when service is not that good, I would still tip something. This experience was so disappointing, I did not tip and I did not feel bad about it. 11) As we were walking out, the manager runs up behind us yelling "Sir!! Sir!! Sir!!" So I stop at the door and he says, "here's some coupons for your next visit." I looked at the coupons and look at him in the eyes and said "we're not coming back. We're never coming back here." He walks away and I walk out. That was so insulting because it showed that he did not care about the current visit. The current visit was so bad that I wouldn't come back even if the food was free! Going to a resturant is more about the service and experience. They fell short on both.

Yelp
We've been here many times before with good service and good food. Our chef was amazing as usual. I also understand that it's COVID and that most restaurants have to do more with less, including less service staff. However, we were met with time after time with a lack of care/concern for our experience. I asked the server several times for my steamed rice that came with my meal, and didn't get it until that end of the meal after asking repeatedly. After paying $400 for a lunch here at least they could have come by and checked on us. Zero refills, we kept having to ask for silverware for one of our guests. Some of my party members wanted to speak to the server on things that we didn't get, and she kept providing excuses as to why the service was poor very nonchalantly, even said that she had 3 other tables. As if they were more important than us. After bringing this to our server Jennifer's attention, I asked for the check and it took them quite some time to bring the check back, it's because they were adding gratuity onto the check in order to ensure their pay was good... I'd been here several times and never had gratuity added before. I could understand service like this if it was a Fast-food type of place. Maybe they are severely understaffed due to COVID it's best to order Togo or maybe wait until our economy recovers before going back here.

Yelp
Me and my wife have been out to this restaurant many times decided to take our children there for there 1st time. It's been a good year but we used to go all the time. We set at 1 of the tables for some hibachi entertainment. He burnt the hell out of the eggs in the fried rice so everything tastes like burnt eggs. He runned all 9 people's dinner. One of the locals that lives down the street happened to be sitting at our table and complained to the manager. Manager came to the table and apologize and said hes a part time employee , Just make sure we request not to have him next time. A $160 for 4 people Last time we will ever eat here.

Yelp
By far the best tasting hibachi in the State. Dont waste your time traveling somewhere else. I'm a hibachi finantic and I'm never disappointed with the food quality or the service. Unfortunately we have some food critics on here that have nothing but positive things to say about it but still rate it 4 stars. Nobody likes those kinda people

Yelp
We had a family dinner here tonight. My 14 year old found a large piece of glass in his hibachi steak. When I stopped a waiter to show him what we found they did nothing. Did not take my sons plate or offer a new meal. We never had a manager or anyone come over to our table with an explanation. Completely unacceptable in my opinion. $400 later our entire family left hungry. We will never be back at this establishment.

Yelp
Usually get orders for takeout. Pretty much average cut of steaks. Not the best not the worst. The taste is great with the vegetables but the actual cut of steak is hit or miss. Very average steakhouse.

Yelp
We tried this for an anniversary dinner. The restaurant was busy and it was a Friday night so maybe he felt rushed but the hibachi chef was kind of a mess. He was rushing and the fried rice ended up pretty over cooked. Seemed chewy. He did a good show but outcome was just ok.

Yelp
I tried making a reservation, when they picked up it was noisy and they said they couldn't hear me well. They hung up about 20 sec into the call. Tried calling back 4 times, but after one ring they continually hung up rather than take my reservation.

Yelp
Our server was amazing! But the restaurant just ain't worth it anymore. Kobe recently changed a lot of their menu and cut 90% of their sushi. The gyoza, miso soup, and edamame are worse. The hawaiian pork was tough. You pay $4 for them to hand you a dr pepper bottle. RIP the longhorn roll :(
