LA’s Best Food Trucks: Where Are They Now? | Eater LA

"What began a gourmet food-truck phenomenon now sees Kogi BBQ operating a fleet of four trucks that make rounds at public and private events, with all the founding partners still listed as owners; Roy Choi has parlayed that success into multiple brick-and-mortar projects (Chego, A-Frame, Alibi Room, Kogi Taqueria) and the Locol concept, which recently transitioned to catering." - Jean Trinh

We shared The Mayflower which was more than plenty for 2. I found service to be a little hectic under the busy Sunday evening crowd. The atmosphere was trying to be peaceful "japandi" but the seating arrangements allowed for almost no privacy or peace from the many tables with small children. The environment was simply too chaotic to relax in.

A fantastic spot for sushi! We went for a late lunch on a weekday and it was pretty quiet, but I imagine it gets crazy busy on weekends. We had the red dragon roll, shaggy dog roll, and spider roll and all were amazing. Their bubble tea is also great with so many tapioca options!

This place never disappoints! Love the new location and the food is delicious. A few of my all time favorites. Katsu chicken ramen, chap chae with tofu and the Dolsat bipimbap also with tofu or chicken. Amazing amazing amazing.

Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. Food was delicious from the appetizer to the main course. My son really enjoyed the vegetable steamed dumplings and egg rolls. The service was great, too. Our waitress was very attentive, and the food always came out nice and hot from the kitchen. The atmosphere is very cozy and modern and very clean. They have a small bar in the front of the restaurant as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some great Asian food. We all left with our belly's full and very pleased with everything.

Food here was EXCELLENT and many vegan options on the menu! The vegan fried dumplings were fantastic along with the best mushroom avocado roll we've had. My husband ordered the Vegan Japanese Chicken Cutlet which was so good. I ordered the vegetable Udon and was disappointed (completely my fault) because I didn't realize it was a soup and I was in the mood for just noodles. Servers were so nice and we would definitely return.
