Google
These tacos are the best on Brady Street, and they are incredible and very flavorful. Kompali is a solid lunch spot and they deliver on stellar presentation and flavor. Amazing happy hour specials with well-priced drink specials, and Kompali is the perfect restaurant for individual tacos or larger shared plates.

Google
Been an Eastsider all my life and never came across this place until today! Didn’t have Mexican on my mind, but Kompali definitely persuaded me. Lovely atmosphere, great service & bomb food!! Will definitely recommend coming with family and friends.

Google
Extremely friendly staff. Really good food and drinks. I always appreciate a good fruity mojito.

Google
Popped in for a random dinner. Service was not awesome. The servers seemed very distracted and forgetful. They brought the wrong beer and I had to ask for salsa for my chips 3 times. The manager seemed likable and gave me the beer due to the service screw ups. The food was ok at best. It wasn't very warm and the meat was a tad chewy. There are much better options on the Eastside of MKE for solid Mexican food.

Google
We stopped Christmas eve while running errands and each got a drink, some fresh guacamole with extra jalapeno and split the mini chimichanga meal. Everything was fresh & delicious.

Google
Went here with a friend for lunch after church. Used to live down in the area so it was a little bit of a flashback after all this time. The options on the tacos were pretty creative. All of them were good. Service.was prompt and friendly. If you haven't been it's worth a try.

I haven’t been here in a long long time. I have no idea why. The food and service are so good. First, they have the BEST salsa. It’s so thick and tasty. It is not runny at all. After I finished my meal, I ate the rest of the chips and salsa.OMG!!! For our meals, we had the El Guero taco, cauliflower taco and black beans which were all so good especially the cauliflower taco. We also had the burrito which was huge. The food was absolutely scrumptious. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Overall - we had a very good experience.

Yelp
**Drinks Only Review** We decided to try this place for National margarita day after trying another place and being disappointed. They sat us quickly which was great. We enjoyed an amazing $20 pitcher special and our waiter was super attentive. We enjoyed our margarita and she kept the chips and salsa coming while we shared our drinks! I definitely will be back for their drinks specials. If on Brady I would say it's worth stopping in!

Yelp
I love the look of this place, all the details on the walls it's so cute! The food is excellent! A big variety of tacos booming with flavor. I tried the pastor and the chicken mole both excellent, the mole was my favorite . Also had a jalapeño margarita, very good. The service was fast attentive and friendly. Excellent experience

Yelp
I remember enjoying taco Tuesdays at Kompali when they first opened. I have been back a couple times in the last year and the food is OK but not great. No complaints about the service, it always seems like a lively spot, but the food lacks flavor. The beans taste like canned. The mole needs more complexity. Possibly I'm making a mistake by not sticking to the tacos. Drinks occupy a sizable spot on the menu, and Kompali seems like a good spot for a group to grab a few margaritas. The chips and salsa are fine. The people are always nice. I keep wanting to go back and be proven wrong, it's such a festive-looking location on Brady St. Maybe tacos.

Yelp
The food was good, service was good for our large group of 8. Everyone enjoyed their food. Torta was huge!

Yelp
The very first time I came here it was amazing which is what all the photos are from my first visit, the next month I come I order the fried burrito and nachos they weren't even half as good I went a few more times to give them the benefit of the doubt it was a bad day, but the service and food hasn't held up since the first time I came I just get disappointed every time. Sad I used to Love come here and drinking and eating but everytime I go now it just isn't good.

Yelp
Friendly staff, fast service, free chips. FFF in short in case you're looking for something convenient and yummy. They have the nest horchata, not too creamy not too sweet. It has just the right amount. I like that they have two type of taco sauces. I got the three tacos with the free side of either rice or beans and if you're a little extra you can add rice or beans for an additional $3 Haven't tried their cervezas but you can't go wrong with them with the tacos! It wasn't a busy place so you can get table right away. They have TVs too in case you wanna watch your game.

Yelp
Great drinks. Delicious tacos. I tried the asada, pollo and chorizo one. Fresh and tasty. Great ambiance.

Yelp
Service was so friendly! The tacos were so unique and there are some vegetarian options. The raspberry margarita was sooo good too!

Yelp
I cannot believe it took me so long to eat here. We had a hankering for Mexican food but didn't feel like driving so we wandered down Brady to Kompali. It was a Sunday later afternoon and the place was fairly empty. We bellied up to the bar and ordered a couple of drinks. Then we ordered food. I love me some chimichangas and my partner loves a good mole. Kompali delivered on both counts. Plus the beans and rice were fantastic. Decent service. Fantastic Micheladas.

Yelp
Best place for drinks and food on Brady Staff is friendly and love the setup at the bar.

Yelp
Food was great & the place itself is a really cool modern but close to authentic Mexican food. Asada Fries for the table as an appetizer & it alone would have been a meal. I got the following tacos for $1 off Taco Thursday. 4 tacos for less than $13. Cubano Taco, Tilapia Taco, Pollo Taco, Deep Fried Avocado Taco This place is a great place to go for Tuesday or Thursday for filling food for a good 20% 25% off per taco. Each taco has two corn tortillas so they are not broken. Definitely would come here
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty decent as far as tacos go! I loved how many options they had. I tried the fish taco and the shrimp taco. The shrimp one was my favorite! I thought the complimentary salsa (with chips) tasted a little strange, with almost a charred flavor to it? It grew on me as I ate it though- always nice to have some free chips and salsa!

Yelp
The service was ok, if youre looking for real authentic mexican food i wouldnt really recommend this place. Painfully average.

Yelp
Love kompali! I come here somewhat often. Service can be a little slow but food is always great! Staff is super friendly. Bathrooms are nice & clean. love the michaladas & the tacos are very good

Yelp
I really liked this joint, I went for the first time over the weekend and I loved the smell as soon as I walked in, the air smelled like delicious braised meat and spices. I love the variety on the menu, such a huge selection of tacos to choose from. We especially love the $10 margarita pictures. My friends and I got an assortment of all types of tacos. The service was quick and friendly. Great place to grab some tacos and margaritas with friends. I will definitely come back and eat more tacos.!! Side note: I loved the house salsa!!! It was some of the best I've had
google avatar

Yelp
The churros served fresh and warm are delicious. The surprise is the dulce de leche in the center. The quesadilla was average at best. The portions were nice. Definitely 4 stars for the churros alone.

Yelp
Quality spot for Mexican fare!! Centrally located on Brady Street, it made for a nice dinner spot before a night out. Good for a date night, friends night, and heck, I'd say a good spot to bring your parents on Brady too!! Love the seats on the patio in the warmer months, but the atmosphere inside can't be beat when indoor dining is warranted due to weather in WI! Prefer the back room for indoor dining, sometimes have felt like we were in the way at the tables adjacent to the bar. They have lots of drink and food specials throughout the week, we went on a Tuesday and it was $1 off all tacos, $6 margs and $20 marg pitchers! Tacos are excellent- faves are the napoles, carnitas, fried avocado and any of the seafood/fish tacos! I'm also a sucker for tostada's, and their platter for $11.95 is honestly a steal for how piled up they are. House salsa is the perfect texture and amount of heat. I do feel like service could be a little more friendly, only reason for a 4 and not 5 star review. Waitstaff was there when you needed them, but not exactly excited about their job or that they were working kind of vibe. Don't let that deter you! the food is worth it!

Yelp
My friends and I stopped in on a Saturday night. The neighborhood is pretty busy. You definitely have to drive around a bit and find some parking. That's how we ended up at this restaurant. We originally were planning on attending a different one once we finally found parking we are hungry and ready to eat. This restaurant ended up being perfect because we had a comedy show to attend an hour later. When you arrive you are greeted by the host. The restaurant has a cool bar area and quite a few tables set up in the front and back. OurMartin our customer service was so great. Our waitress was a sweetheart, we all ordered three different tacos that came with your choice of either rice or beans. We also ordered a margarita picture for the table. The margaritas was super sweet. Also between the three of us we managed to get a glass and a half probably due to all the ice stuffed inside. I would have to say the food was so-so but if you're in a pinch for some late night eats this is the place.

Yelp
The wait was too long at another Mexican restaurant we've had in the past and love so we gave Kompali Taqueria a try and I'm glad we did! We had chorizo tacos, chips with salsa and guacamole, ceviche, and house margaritas, and it reminded me of eating authentic Mexican food in Mexico. It may have helped that we went on one of the first warm and humid days of the year and they had their side door open which led some of that perfect air inside. Service was excellent too. I'm glad we found this place as we'll make it one of our go-to spots for Mexican food when visiting Milwaukee!

Yelp
Delicious food with a short wait at the 3rd street market location. Brady street location has strong drinks and great food! Love sitting and the bar.

Yelp
My experience at this place was a whirlwind. I don't even know where to start... I'm giving 4 stars but it's probably a good middle ground at 3.5. The waitress seemed flustered to start. It's Covid. It's downtown Milwaukee...and surprisingly this place was packed! Our wait time was 30-40 minutes, which was fine since a girl who was joining us hadn't showed up yet. Distancing seemed appropriate and they used plastic barriers between the tables. COVID protocols seemed to be followed. The food; chips and salsa were great. I enjoyed my steak fajitas. The Mexican corn had way too much lime juice in it and none of the Mexican seasonings that are typically associated with it. The manager was called over and she explained that it was not traditional Mexican corn, she apologized and said she'd take it off our bill. Fast forward to the other girl showing up towards the end of our meal. Our waitress, although flustered and forgetful, was nice and I could tell she was doing her best. The people I went with were not happy with their food and they were not friendly to this waitress. I felt really bad for her. The waitress and/or manager ended up losing this chicks debit card...for a good 15-20 minutes before coming over to let us know it had been lost. Needless to say this chick lost her cool. The card ended up being found. The owner came out and he seemed very upset, but it's hard to tell at what or whom. There was lots of yelling and chaos as I just sat and watched it unfold, mostly confused. I think it was handled poorly, on all accounts, mainly the chick who joined us. I will say this, the manger and waitress did the best they could. They ended up just letting us all leave. They just wanted us to go and I don't blame them. I will definitely be willing to try this place again, but obviously with different people.

Yelp
Came across this spot while we were walking down Brady street looking for a bite to eat on Friday, early evening. I've been meaning to come here -because who doesn't want tacos & margs all the tim - so I was happy to visit. Being a Friday, it was quite busy. The hostess let us know it would be about 15-20minutes for a table for four, but that we could grab drinks at the bar while we waited. Once we found a spot at the bar, we decided to stay sat there, as it's plenty spacious. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly, including the bartender who let us know it was his first night. Don't worry, we went easy on him ;) My friend and I ordered the house margarita, and husband and other friend opted for the jalapeño marg. They were certainly more on the sweeter side, but still tasty. The spicy ones didn't really have too much of a hot kick, however. As always, complimentary chips and salsa are welcomed and appreciated! We snacked on those while waiting for the tacos. Very fast food service by the way. Their menus is packed full with Mexican eats, but on the order of tacos, I enjoyed the baja fish, blackened shrimp, and the blackened salmon (which was my fave because the pineapple sauce and avocado were delish)! I look forward to returning to try out enchiladas and tostadas next.
google avatar

Danielle W.

Yelp
Goodness gracious these had such promising descriptions and such lackluster execution. The tacos were meh, the chips and salsa were not good, the black beans and rice were also not good, and the saving graces were the jalapeño margarita and how nice the bartender was the whole time. This is not a place I'd come back to for food, but I'd go back for a drink!

Yelp
My boyfriend and i decided to check out Kompali over the weekend and let me tell you...one of the best restaurants we've dined in. From the atmosphere to the food and everything in between. We decided to go back on monday to get their $8 burritos which were absolutely amazing. would highly recommend !!
google avatar

Genevieve K.

Yelp
We were looking for a good place for tacos that was open during lunch time, so we decided to give Kompali a try. They were technically doing counter service, but they ended up just taking our order at our table. The service was great! We got our food quickly and everyone was super friendly. The chips and salsa were great and the chips were fresh and seasoned perfectly. We also gave the street corn a try and it was amazing and easy to share. We all tried a variety of tacos and definitely had no complaints. They were delicious! It was Taco Tuesday, so every taco was a dollar off. We were shocked at how little we were able to pay for meals for 3 people. We pretty much had a perfect experience and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Favorite place in Milwaukee for tacos and margs!! Always fast and friendly service! So many taco options!!

Yelp
Delicious and affordable Mexican food. Wide variety of amazing tacos at a low price. Drinks are great, especially margaritas. Very nice and quick staff. Spacious and chill vibes too.

Yelp
Some of my favorite tacos on the block! The drinks are amazing, My friend and I went here on a Tuesday so we can get some tacos but there wasn't a deal with was weird I guess but the tacos are delicious so we didn't care about the deal. The service is pretty fast and the restaurant itself is very chill.

Liliana F.

Yelp
I love their green enchiladas! I always get them when I go there. The customer service is also great, definitely a great spot to go out to eat and have drinks with friends!

Ab B.

Yelp
Amazing chips and salsa. Excellent tacos. Love that we could order ala carte. I had shrimp, steak and fish. Fish was just ok but the other 2 were fantastic. My hubby ordered the fajitas which were good but had a lot of peppers vs meat. Excellent and attentive service. Very loud sitting outside on this busy street. Will definitely go again when we're in town.

Jeanette B.

Yelp
Our go to place for tacos and tequila in Milwaukee.Food is authentic and delicious and we love the atmosphere.

Taylor J.

Yelp
I went there once before and really liked it. But this second time around the quality of the food wasn't the same. Particularly the Argentinian tacos were a different cut and it was just strange. Service was good and so were the drinks. Music was a bit loud so we couldn't really hear everyone in our group. Overall had a good time.

Yelp
Highly recommend this Brady St icon. Outstanding Mexican fare and drinks. Great location and great perch to people watch on one of this city's most interesting streets for doing so.
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Kompali is a great spot for tacos on Brady St. with a great atmosphere. The menu is expansive and they offer a lot of more exotic options for those who are much more adventurous than I am. Their classic tacos like the Asada, Al Pastor, Tilapia, and Pollo, that I've tried have always been fantastic. They definitely aren't always consistent, sometimes the flavor or spice level is a bit different, but I've never had a bad taco here. Service here is usually fast and friendly, and I love that they have enough seating that there usually isn't too much of a wait even during a rush.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Service was kind of lousy. Stopped in for lunch with a friend last week. You order and pay right away inside and then they bring the food and drinks to you(they had outside seating setup) I hate the way this is done, because you're technically tipping on service you haven't gotten yet, I left 20% and I feel like they did an awful job. I ordered a taco salad that was $10 and a pitcher of margaritas that was $25 and then got my grand total of $41 and some change. Was a little surprised, but figured maybe I had misread the menu and maybe there was an up charge on the salad I hadn't noticed on the menu. Checked the menu and it didn't indicated there was any up charge on the salad, unless you got salmon, which I didn't. The guy handed me my receipt...my none itemized receipt..so had no idea how that adds up. Whatever, we went and sat down and wait for our drinks to come out...no drinks...so we waited...still no drinks, but eventually they did bring out my friend's burrito and the chips and guac she ordered...would've really liked those chips and guacamole before our food came.. Anyhow the waitress asked if there's anything else and I told her I had a salad and we ordered drinks. So she goes and gets the margaritas, but then I was left awkwardly waiting for my food, while my friend's food got cold. My friend's burrito didn't look like anything special, margaritas were just ok. I eventually did get my salad and I liked it a lot, but I didn't think it was worth $15 plus tip. Plus my friend was almost done eating by the time I got it. We decided we probably wouldn't go back

Yelp
Fear not, adventurous eaters...there is once again Mexican music and clever little sayings about tacos and margaritas on Brady. if I'm being 100% honest it reminds me of a low key Cempezuchi with a splash of Bel Air thrown in. For starters... they've continued the trend of having you pay for chips and salsa. I'm totally in favor of this because 1.) not everyone always wants them 2.) it's only $2 3.) there version of chips and accompanying salsas are totally delicious. They have tortas and some other options but the star of the show is tacos and they have a number of varieties, including a lot of South American twists. You do have to order 4 to get beans OR rice but since the everyday price for any of them is between 2 and 3 dollars, that seems fair. Also, they have a lot of toppings in each one. I had a shrimp taco and they did not skimp on shrimp. And Churros! They had a small desert menu and while there version of this cinnamon-y fried dough great did not disappoint, it totally needed either a chocolate dipping sauce, or whipped cream or caramel or some sort of dipping sauce. They have a ton of beverage options both alcoholic and non - last time I had a Mexican Coca- cola in a bottle! all in all pleased with this places' recent transformation!

Yelp
Kompali is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I am always warmly welcomed when I enter. The front dining area it features a bar with a couple of large screens which are typically showing soccer matches. Within the last few years the small, metal seated chairs were replaced with larger, comfy seated chairs. The owners have added beautiful decorative touches. There is also a large dining area in the back. The entire restaurant has large windows, giving it a sunny, open feel and nice view onto Brady Street. They have a large menu, and offer daily food and drink specials. The margaritas are reasonably priced, and some of the best in the city, as they make their own mix and never use a bottled mix. The food is always fresh tasting and delicious. All of the staff members are highly professional and friendly. I hope that you give them a try.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab a drink and a few tacos and it was delicious! Especially the blackened salmon taco. Our server Mateo R was great! Overall great food and great service :) I would definitely recommend.

Tom D.

Yelp
The food is very delicious here - great salsa and the hot sauce is HOT (as should be). The manager (owner?) came to every table asking if everything was ok. The only problem was that our meals came before drinks and appetizer, but the quality of the food compensated for that. We'll be back!

Samuel G.

Yelp
Great and fast service!!! Fantastic food!!! Bustin busting busssin bbbbbusssin and it was buss in

Yelp
This was, hands down, the worst dining experience I've had in years. We (me, my husband, and our two teens) went for an early dinner on a Wednesday evening to celebrate a birthday. Our server brought us water, and we noticed that it had a lot of chunks floating in it. The server apologized and took the waters away. We ordered some drinks (three sodas and a beer) and an appetizer. There were only two cold sodas, and she asked if we wanted to wait for the other to get cold. Since we couldn't have water, I said we'd wait. This wasn't a great start, but we knew it wasn't the server's fault and didn't let it put a damper on things. We ordered our dinners. After about thirty minutes, our server brought us new waters (it turns out there was something wrong with one of the taps). About five minutes later, she brought our dinners. We never got the appetizer. While eating, my husband noticed that he did not have the deep-fried avocado taco he ordered. In its place, he had a taco with peppers and potatoes like one I ordered (and also received). He let this taco sit until the rest of us were nearly done, during which time our server did not check in, so then he just ate the taco. We'd waited a really long time for our food and didn't get our appetizer -- we were hungry! My son ordered a chimichanga with fajita veggies after checking to make sure we could order it vegetarian. It came with pork beans. My husband just gave him his own black beans, and my son scraped the pork beans off his plate and avoided what he could. We couldn't resolve anything with our server because she didn't return while we were eating, despite the fact that there was only one other table there. The next time we saw our server, she was dropping off the bill. At that point, our daughter wanted another side of rice, so we ordered that. This came quickly, with the new bill. We checked the bill to make sure we weren't charged for the appetizer we never got, and we weren't, but we *were* charged for the avocado taco. When the server came to take payment, my husband told her that he didn't actually get the avocado taco. She seemed annoyed by this, said "um, okay," left, and then came back and sort of angrily told us that because she didn't see it, she couldn't do anything about it. We weren't even asking her to do anything, just wanted to let her know. We said we would have told her sooner had she checked on as at any point while we were eating. We were absolutely understanding and kind through all the mishaps, but when she all but accused us of trying to scam them for a taco on a $75 bill (which would have been higher if she had ordered our app/asked if we wanted more drinks/checked on us at all), we had enough. The food was just okay, definitely not worth the frustration. What a birthday dinner! Never going there again.

Yelp
I just had the moment that women of a certain age fear and hate the most: when you become invisible. What makes it more disappointing was that it was at this place, an establishment I have loved and whose staff makes excellent food and outstanding margaritas--the house marg is the best one I have found around here, and at an awesome price. And I'm a snot about Mexican food and tequila drinks. It should be clear that I was here by myself. Getting someone to take my initial order took forever, in a slow dining room with only three other people at the bar, where I was sitting. Bar prep, other patrons, chatter, etc., was taking precedence over my order. I practically had to stand on my head to order my next drink, and then it didn't come...and didn't come...and didn't come, even when others who arrived after me were served lickety-split. When I finally got the attention of someone to just close my bill so I could leave, he gave me platitudes and a free shot--not the double neat tequila I had ordered. Here's some advice to those in service: Here we are! No. We are not 100 pounds soaking wet and do not rock a string bikini. To you, we are old. But remember that we have money and dine out and have influence. Don't forget about us. I will still always recommend this place because of the great food and margaritas. But I will also probably tell this story.

Yelp
Disappointing experience that was partially redeemed at the end by management. To make a long story short (and believe me, it was long) we waited F O R E V E R for our food to come out. No big deal to a gang of friends maybe, but I was there alone with my 3.5-year-old daughter, and it was really tough. In the end, we waited 35 minutes for five tacos...and only got four of them. I kept seeing other orders coming out of the kitchen, and there were only four tables plus a big group at the bar. How were they getting served before us? The wait staff didn't treat my repeated follow-ups with any urgency, until close to the end when one guy did apologize and tell me that they would comp our guacamole. Shortly after the food arrived, the manager came out and apologized again, reiterating the guac comp, at which point I mentioned the missing taco. I insisted that I didn't need it but wanted to make sure that it was removed from the bill. He really really wanted to bring me the taco, and promised that it would come out in "less than a minute"; so I took him up on this. And indeed it arrived in about 30 seconds. However, this just annoyed me further, because if they could make one taco in 30 seconds, why did it take 30+ minutes to make the first four? Anyway, the food was mostly pretty good. The asada and chicken tacos were great, fish and barbecue pork were just okay. The pork in particular had a weird taste which must have come from their odd take on barbecue sauce. The guacamole was fresh but a bit bland.

Yelp
Hands down one of my favorite taqueria's in MKE! A friend and I went on a very sunny Saturday afternoon for some drinks & tacos and left both happy and full. The inside of the restaurant was lively - full of color and had beautiful hand-painted art on the wall. We took our drinks outside and sat at one of the many tables surrounding the area. The food came out super quick - I ordered 3 tacos (Al Pastor, Argentinian Steak and Asada) and my friend ordered 3 tacos as well (Baja & Blackened Cod). These tacos were SO flippin good. I literally devoured my tacos so fast to the point where I looked down at my plate and was confused at how they all had disappeared so quickly. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 - which I'm sure I'll bump up a star on my next visit - is because I ordered a Paloma and I got a margarita instead. Wasn't disappointed with the Marg, but it just wasn't what I ordered. Overall, solid taqueria :)

Yelp
This was my first tune on Brady street in a few years and we came across this new restraint. We were very pleased with the friendly staff, food and drinks. Lupita was our server and she was very nice. We sat outside at a table and she even brought a bowl of water for our dog. We had the cactus tacos and chicken burrito with some chips and salsa.

Yelp
The service was horrific. The women at the front of the house had a rude rude demeanor thst made me want to leave almost immediately. The salsa tasted like marinara sauce and no flavor whatsoever! I will never return.

Yelp
It was hot as hell in the restaurant to the point i almost passed out, i sat for an hour before i had food and there was only one other guest in the restaurant. The food arrived literally 2 minutes after being rung in. Which suggests it was most likly microwaved. I got my food to go as it was so hot in the restaurant i couldnt stand it. Most likly wont be going back. Staff didnt seem concerned i was having a hard time with the heat.

Yelp
Kompali serves up some delicious tacos that are divinely different. But if you've got a sweet tooth their desserts are OUTSTANDING! Let's save the best for last, shall we? And start with the total experience. Kompali is a welcome addition to Brady Street and, may I say, a fabulous way to experience upscale, uniquely delicious food in a casual setting. My friend and I met up on a Thursday night. In the face of other taco joints offering up specials, the place was packed. The specials included huge margaritas for $5. After loading up with chips and salsa for $2 (everything here is ala carte, which is ok in my book) we selected tacos. Priced at around $3 each, they are generous street tacos that you have to eat a little bit of filling out of them with a fork before you can pick them up. This is a foodies dream! I chose two of Paco's tacos - the Al Pastor, marinated pork shoulder with grilled pineapple, onions and cilantro. It was so wonderfully tasty. I also enjoyed the De Alambre - Steak, bacon, ham, onions and green pepper. The star of my taco choices however, came from the Karlos's taco selections - Argentinian beef with chimichurri sauce. My mouth is watering remembering how it danced on my taste buds! In preparing for this excursion my friend and I perused the menu and texted about our choices. She hinted at churros, which had me dashing to the interweb and gazing longingly at desserts. I didn't see them but delightfully eyed and selected the flan as a must do. Imagine our delight when we noticed churros indeed were on the menu as a recent addition! Joyfully we ordered both. Holy yum the flan was amazing. Solid and dense with cream cheese it was rich and thick and almost cheesecake like in texture. And oh that caramel sauce! The churros were equally amazing, hot fresh, crispy with a creamy middle that was unbelievable. We talked with our server Kara that we'd like to see a dipping sauce but standalone, they were perfection! We had a fabulous meal with great service and will go back. Way to go Kompali!
