I use to love this place. But for some reason, this year, they got rid of their tropical flavors. The only flavor I ever got there was the Caribbean Cherry. It was awesome. They don't have it listed anymore, and if you ask, the teenager looks at you like you are crazy.

What a DELICIOUS experience!!!! First of all… the flavors are CRAZY good. Too good. The lavender lemonade and the Georgia peach… too good! I can’t wait to come back. The service was AMAZING and the owner is soooo kind! I can’t wait to come back. My entire family loves it here!

Cool treats on hot 🔥 days or any day!! I take my grandson's to Konas for a good variety of cool treats...snowballs, ice cream, shakes, smoothies!! Yep, they have it all with awesome 👌 flavors.

I love this place on a hot summer day took the wife and kid for a snowball and versus the other places in town that sell snowballs. I didn’t spend $50 very clean. The girls were friendly and I got my snowball in minutes.

Stopped by today to try it out. Just moved to the area and this was the only place open this early in the season. I ordered a medium snowball. Only the top of the snowball had syrup on it the rest was just plain white ice. I also ordered marshmallow on the bottom and there was only about a teaspoon amount there. I’d say save the 6 dollars and go somewhere else once other places open.

Just had such a horrible experience. Tried to get a snowball and ice cream and as we were ordering they shut the lights off all around and kicked everyone out. While we were walking out a kid went up and tried to order and the owner said “what do you want, we are TRYING to close” which was so rude to the young kid. I will NEVER be going back

It was so fun to visit the main location! Who knew they had more than just trucks! I will say that I was disappointed there wasn't a bathroom when my Little one said he needed to go (since so many kids are around). But their ice cream is too notch and these are some of the best sprinkles I've ever had. Zero stars for bathroom facilities, 5 stars for ice cream. My son loved the snowball he got too. ;)

I love third snowball stand! I've always seen the truck but never knew where they were actually located. Now I travel just to come get a snowball. Other places have a $9 minimum with cards, they have a $4 minimum which is literally a small snowball with marshmallows. The food here is unlike other snowball stands, they fill the ice up to the top, the marshmallow is perfectly placed, and the price is prefect! I love the service, you're always greeted with a smile, the people there seem to actually like their job. The ambiance of the place is very kid friendly and I love that as you can tell in my pictures.

Awesome spot and the price point is fantastic. Staff is always attentive and friendly. The milkshakes are the. Eat.

The good: Lots of parking, some available outdoor seating, and very fast service. The bad: Located right before an intersection with a light, it can be difficult to get out of if making a left onto Joppa Rd. People tend to drive very fast there. The so-so: I unfortunately had to give this place 3 stars due to the lack of syrup in the snowballs. We ordered 4 snowballs and 3 ice creams. The soft ice creams were great, but not a lot on the cone for the price. They didn't have sugar cones. My daughter seemed to have the best deal with her Oreo ice cream scoop. All of the snowballs had almost no syrup at the bottom so they were thrown away because while some people may enjoy eating plain crushed ice, that's not what we wanted.

I love this place. They have such a wide range of flavors and also ice cream and milkshakes.

I used to come to this spot as a kid when it was a different snowball stand. I was hesitant to try this new place out seeing it is a franchise location and not a local spot but I figured I'd give it a shot.I ordered a small grape w/ marshmallow and the bf got a small banana w/ marshmallow. I really like that they put a hole in the ice so marshmallow goes down the middle of the snowball. I usually have to ask for marshmallow in both the middle and the top but I don't have to do that here! The syrup is v sweet and ice is crushed up just right. This is a perf place for kids to come as they have what's called the "flavor wave" where kids can order their ice and then make their own snowball off to the side of the shack. The "flavor wave" is similar looking to a fountain soda machine and has several OG flavors to choose from. There are also some games off to the side of the picnic tables which is cool if you wanna hang out for a bit. Will def be returning!

Sad to say this but I'd never get a snowball from here again. They are extremely watered down and do not give enough marshmallow for the price. If you want a really good snowball try One Sweet Moment...not here.

Well...this is the 2nd night in a row that we have made the trek from Dundalk to Kona Ice! That should tell you everything you need to know. Staff is wonderful, accomodating, and very friendly. Tons of flavor options. 1st night.....Key Lime. 2nd night.....Watermelon Mint.

Awesome service and flavors. The atmosphere is great and the tables are clean. It's definitely a kid friendly environment. My only criticism is the ice is not as thinly shaved as some other places I have been.

All I had recently was $5 plus diet root beer that was so awful I had to throw it out! Watered down bitter flavor which must have been sweetened with saccharine-won't be back

The best shaved ice with stellar service from friendly staff, and lovely owners committed to giving back to the community! My kids enjoy choosing their own flavors from the Flavorwave and I love how easy it is to fundraise for our school and their sports teams.

Joni brought one of her trucks to our community. Snowballs were great, everyone enjoyed the convenience of having the snowballs available in the community. We will have her back.

Best snowballs around. Love their marshmallow. Remember taking my children when they were kids to the stand that was there under previous owner. Parking lot was a mess back in the day. Now, it is paved and the stand is new. Very clean as well. Great place to go for snowballs with a large variety of yummy flavors and ice cream. I hear also that there is a Kona truck that goes around to different neighborhoods upon request. What a wonderful idea for birthday parties and graduations and neighborhood fairs.

Kona Ice has taken a well known shave ice location, re-habbed it, rebranded it, and made it Baltimore's new summertime must visit snow ball stand. The texture of the snow is perfect, they have a great variety of flavors, and the crew there is super friendly. Be sure and ask for cream. It takes your snowball to another level!

Rude staff. My girlfriend asked about her caramel topping and the staff was short toned. Completely unnecessary.

Nah. This isn't a snowball stand. This is a franchise of some out of town shaved ice company. Close, but no cigar. Go to a real snowball stand where the ice is done with the classic machines.

Fun little stand. They took over the old stand and painted it in island colors. My son loves the make-your-own option, where you get a cup of ice and add your own flavor syrup. Several tables outside to enjoy your treat. Cornhole game and a chalkboard to write on for fun. Plenty of parking.

Great location. Awesome selection of flavors. I think it is a great addition to the community.
