The 14 Best Pop-Ups In Miami

"Where To Find Them: Slightly unpredictable so keep an eye on their Instagram.  Turn on Instagram post notifications to keep track of this very good Turkish pop-up that operates on a sporadic monthly basis. One of the chefs is from Mandolin, and Kül’s food is an extension of the kinds of excellent Aegean flavors you’ll find over there. The menu changes with every event—they’ve grilled in Palma’s parking lot and done a four-course dinner with QP Tapas—but it usually shows off a mix of great small plates like monkfish kebab, burnt carrot and miso hummus, and grilled tilefish collar. Last time we caught them at NIU Wine, we ate a spicy razor clam sandwich and a crispy prawn surrounded by wedges of dreamy ripe tomatoes." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino

15 Kosher-Friendly Restaurants in South Florida

"Israeli native chef Asaf brings Mediterranean food to life using his grandmother’s secret spice blends. Whether ordering salatim like matbucha (a spicy tomato dip), one of the many hummus options, or heavier fare like the ribeye skewer and chicken schnitzel, options abound. There are also salads, super bowls, and sandwiches that make the ideal quick bite." - Alona Martinez

Delicious Flavors and Cozy Atmosphere: My experience at KooLulu was nothing short of delightful. The flavors of the food were simply outstanding, leaving me craving more even after the last bite. Despite missing out on the mint lemonade, the regular lemonade was a refreshing treat, bursting with flavor. For lunch, I opted for the Short Rib Sandwich, and it was a culinary masterpiece. The combination of overnight short rib, tahini, chimichurri, lemon cream, grilled onion, tomato, and confit garlic nestled in a warm pita was a symphony of flavors that left me satisfied and impressed. My friend went for the Jerusalem Hummus, and it was a revelation. The homemade hummus paired perfectly with tahini, pulled kebab, grated tomato, schug, parsley, and olive oil, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that pleased the palate. The ambiance of KooLulu was cozy and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. However, parking in Surfside can be a bit challenging, as it mainly relies on street parking unless you're willing to walk from the local municipal parking lots nearby. The only drawback was that the service was a little slow, but the delicious food more than made up for it. Overall, my experience at KooLulu was exceptional. From the delectable food to the charming atmosphere, it's a culinary gem worth visiting again and again.

They have a good selection of authentic israeli food. The dessert was also delicious but it wasn't listed on menu so I had to ask the waitress about it. The prices are on the higher end for everything, which is common in this part of the miami area.

Absolutely wonderful! Ordered takeout - Moroccan Cigars: super thin and crispy, not greasy at all, and loaded with beef/lamb. - Jerusalem Hummus: superb! generous portion filled to the top of the bowl with outstanding flavor with a perfect balance of all ingredients. - Skordalia: the best I've ever had in my life. - Mini Challah: warm, soft doughy center exactly what you want from Challah!

One of the best restaurants I have ever had!! The dishes are flavorful yet not overpowering, the taste is natural yet complex, the interior is modern and clean. Highly recommend!

Really wanted to like this place but the food was pretty disappointing. Fried cauliflower ended up being deep fried and breaded flavorless cauliflower. So bland and nothing special whatsoever. The hummus masabacha was disappointing also. Never had chunky hummus. Typically it’s hummus with chick peas in the middle but at kululu it’s just grated chick peas with tahini. The pita came out drenched in oil. I’ve never had oily pita before. The mains were also nothing to write home about. Chicken schnitzel was very chewy.

They charged us $7 for each of these sides and barely bothered to put any in the container. Waste of money and cheap on portions!

Charged us extra for items we ordered they didn’t provide, and wouldn’t agree to take off the bill at the end. Weird experience, I have never felt stolen before but ownership clearly didn’t mind about the customer for a few extra bucks. Don’t recommend going, not worth the stress and unwelcoming atmosphere.
