Wonderful and authentic Greek restaurant! It has a nice vibe and good design, plenty of seating space, and excellent service. The food was flavorful and delicious. The lunch menu on weekdays offers good value and quality for the price.

Let me start off with our server Matt, he was phenomenal, he took care of us from the moment we walked it until we left , very attentive and his white sangria !!! It’s a must !! Now let’s get into the food! The grilled octopus was amazing and the taramuslata with the fresh pita omg 😍😍😍 lobster ravioli and korali chips . We are definitely coming to this place again to try more food. Let me add how special they made this birthday dinner for my wife’s grandma. They even sang her happy birthday! Def would recommend coming by.

Great place! The atmosphere of this place is so lovely, vibrant, spacious, clean, and welcoming. We enjoyed restaurant week menu, and loved everything we had including the soup, salad, meatballs were EXCELLENT, and the lobster ravioli and the lamb kebab. The menu has a great variety of food that'll satisfy everyone. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We'll be back. Enjoy!

Avgolemono soup, hummus, grilled sardines and Galaktoboureko Easily the best hummus on the UES. You have to try the Galaktoboureko for desert it is heavenly.

We were greeted by many different extremely friendly people, all of whom were very professional so 10/10 service! The restaurant had a beautiful interior with lovely cover songs playing in the background. The food was great-perhaps not the best Greek food I've had, but it wasn't bad! There are certain things I recommend, such as the eggplant spread, korali chips, and the galaktoboureko.

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the Upper East side. The authentic Greek atmosphere, delightul waitstaff, and authentic food is top notch. Georgios the manager has an infectious smile that is truly welcoming. You feel like you are coming into his home. I have eaten lunch here and dinners and it is always a treat and I leave feeling happy from the food and overall experience. Thank you Korali for feeding my Grecian soul!

We live just a couple of blocks away, and we can't thank Korali enough for getting through the challenges of Covid and continually standing strong. This place is truly a neighborhood gem. The restaurant has a cozy, Mediterranean-inspired atmosphere with a relaxed vibe. The manager is incredibly attentive--he takes care of everyone, noticing all the little details, offering surprise drinks or free desserts. Korali is always buzzing during dinner service, yet he manages to create a warm, welcoming sense of community. Some of our favorite dishes include: Greek Salad - Unlike many Greek restaurants, Korali's Greek Salad is full of flavor--refreshing and delicious. Korali Salad - Spinach, beets, feta cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette. So good! I am a bit fan of the beets they serve. Eggplant and Zucchini Chips - A standout appetizer, served with tzatziki. You just can't stop eating them. Greek Chicken Meatballs - My kids always want two orders of these. They're that good. Three Spreads - A must-try! You can choose any three spreads, served with a plate of warm pita. We usually get melitzanosalata (eggplant spread), tzatziki, and hummus. Grilled Octopus - The combination of capers, oregano, and red wine vinegar is perfect. Korali prepares this dish with a ceviche-like twist--refreshing and flavorful. Lamb Chops (Paidakia) - A must-try! The lamb chops are juicy, tender, and melt in your mouth with a beautifully simple, well-balanced flavor. Scallops - Always fresh, creamy with a nice sear, and large in size. A great value for the quality. Lavraki (Branzino) - You can't visit a Greek restaurant without having Branzino! It's the signature dish that shows off the chef's skills, and Korali's doesn't disappoint. One time, we celebrated Thanksgiving there with a large group (it's such a great restaurant, and so convenient ). The manager treated us to generous pours of whiskey, a delightful cocktail to try after I finished mine, and a huge plate of Greek desserts! I absolutely love their baklava, Galaktoboureko, and Greek lemon cake. The Greek yogurt with strawberries and blueberries is also a sweet treat.

This is a beautiful little restaurant. You greeted immediately by a cheerful host. The restaurant is spotless. The lighting is pleasant. The menu is absolutely perfect. There are choices for everyone and everything is well portioned and prepared. The meals are plated beautifully. My eggplant salad, lentil soup and Korali salad were absolutely delicious. The fish and chicken kebabs were perfectly cooked and sauce. I cannot think of a better Greek restaurant which is more consistent and reasonable in all of Manhattan.

Outstanding lunch at Korali! We wound up not even ordering an entree, but just having 5 appetizers to remind us what a lovely taste of Greek could be. We are from Long Island so there are several Greek restaurants, but it's hard to find fine dining authentic locations. This hit the spot. Thank you Korali!

Korali has such a beautiful space. We were greeted by the owner who was happy to have us even though we did not have a reservation. While we waited for my bfs dad, we ordered a glass of the Greek red wine.. wish I could remember the name but it was the first one on the list. I wanted something light and fruit forward and the wine list is designed light to heavy so the server recommended the first one. For appetizer I've got the 3 dips for $27 - babaganoush, feta cheese, and tzatziki. Great deal and delicious pita! For our meals we tried the lamb chops and the scallops and they were amazing!

Went for lunch this week. Was greeted warmly at the door and seated promptly. The atmosphere had great Greek character and we received a lot of natural light through the windows - corner building - that was nice! We had excellent service. As we sat, we had discussed our recent trip to Greece, where we'd traveled all about over the course of 8 days. The food was very much on par with some of the best that we had on our trip; nice bar too! Wish we lived closer to Korali Estiatorio - but are happy to say that we look forward to future visits!

This is a good Greek spot/ addition to the upper east side. The Spanakopita was tasty, hummus and tzaziki sauce were great too. My friends said the greek salad and their shrimp dish was good as well. Our cocktails were very tasty. The one part I had an issue with was that the windows were left wide open on a pretty hot nyc summer night and there was AC going but it was not as cool in there as we would have liked or thought it would be. The table next to us also had the same complaint. Also there were little fruit flys around our table, possibly due to the windows being left open. I would recommend this spot for its cocktails and food though.

Nice relaxed restaurant for casual-formal dining. The restaurant looks very authentic and it's well decorated. I went with a couple of co-workers and we shared several appetizers. We had the CHOICE OF THREE SPREADS with the MELITZANOSALATA, FAVA, and HUMMUS, then GRILLED OCTOPUS, SHRIMP SAGANAKI, HALOUMI cheese, SPANAKOPITA (SPINACH PIE), SEAFOOD CROQUETTES, KEFTEDAKIA SMYRNEIKA (MEATBALLS). If you need some extra pita bread is $2. The food is good but a bit expensive for the quality. ESPAÑOL: Restaurante de ambiente relajado y amable perfecto para comidas casuales o formales. El restaurante es muy auténtico y está bien decorado. Fui con un par de compañeros del trabajo y compartimos varios aperitivos. Started with a delicious Greek salad perfectly dressed. Leg of lamb was deliciously moist and flavorful accompanied by delicious roasted vegetables, topped with a plentiful sprig of fresh rosemary. George was our waiter who recommended wine which was wonderful. We sat in the loft which gave us an enjoyable overview of the restaurant.

We wanted to try a new Greek place in the neighborhood, as Yasouvlaki needed a little break, so Korali came up as an option. We will never return. (1) food is expensive and tasteless. Entrees are $30-50+. While you do get decent sized portions, the quality lacks. The dips were mediocre and all proteins we ordered tasted rushed and under-marinated/ seasoned. (2) drinks are nothing to write home about. $10+ beers, meh wine, cocktails didn't appeal to us. (3) servers tried, which is why this is a 2/5, not a 1/5 (4) atmosphere fine. It looks like a Greek restaurant. We're on the UES, so not surprising, but the crowd is older. The only people there under 50, minus us, were out with their parents & grandparents 2/5. Very disappointing. Skip it.

Excellent food and great service!!! The order went into the kitchen immediately, and I loved how nice our server was. He treated us with warmth and efficient service. I ordered the crab cakes. The sauce was delicious. The crab cakes were warm and soft. The dish also came with a salad. The salad dressing was delicious, although I do not know the name. The crab cake came with lemon, which added zest to the food

We went for restaurant week and it was a steal. $45 for four course meal. I got the Greek salad, fava beans, salmon and cake and my husband got the Greek salad, hummus and yogurt. The portions sizes were large. We even took some of it home. The service was on point and the dishes were so delicious. The dessert was not our taste, but honestly, we were so full at that point it didn't even matter a great spot to try, especially if you're looking for a place to explore during restaurant week.

Cute, cozy restaurant but service was extremely slow considering we were the only table at the time. Food is pretty pricey for lunch (I got a latte and the chicken souvlaki and paid around $45 with tax and tip). The chicken was delicious (moist and tender) but the rice was dry.

The branzino was unfortunately bland and dry. The swordfish soulvaki was delicious. Brussels were there best thing on the table with flavors bursting in every bite! The lemon potatoes on the swordfish were very delicious as well.

I always walk by this place in the neighborhood. I finally decided to stop in on a cold Tuesday night. My mom was visiting and we didn't want to venture too far from the apartment. We were immediately greeted by the friendly hostess and seated. The menus are on little tablets and its easy to navigate. You can click on each item and get a bigger description of each. I was also really impressed by the ambiance and decor. We shared two dips, the Fava (yellow split pea purée, evoo and lemon) and the taramosalata (cured carp roe, evoo, lemon juice and potatoes). Both were served with pita bread. I preferred the taramosalata but I think I would swap the dips to try one of the salads next time. We also shared the shrimp saganaki (a timorato sauce topped with feta). This was delicious and we enjoyed every last bit of the sauce. We also had a glass of wine each. It was a bit expensive $15 per glass. We enjoyed it but it definitely added to the bill. I definitely will come back as everything that everyone around us ordered looked great.

Really enjoyed Korali. We ordered a variety of items within our group, including the choice of 3 spreads (hummus, htipiti (red pepper feta), tzatziki), cheese saganaki, and tomatokeftedes as appetizers, and plaki, vegetarian moussaka, organic chicken, bifteki, and chicken souvlaki for the mains. All the spreads were great (everyone had a different favorite), and the saganaki was a big hit. For the appetizers, both the moussaka and the bifteki were very filling - definitely leftovers (but maybe you can eat it all if you have fewer apps?). The plaki was also well reviewed - the orderer had really been looking forward to and it did not disappoint. Really like the atmosphere, we were seated in the loft, which I really liked. Helpful tablets for the drink list as well. Only con - not enough to bring the experience down - is that you have to call for reservations for over four people.

Food was delicious ! Service was very attentive. Fish was excellent and good value. Have been several times now at lunch time because we want to try everything !

Korali is in my opinion one of the best Greek restaurants in the area as far as food quality. The meze are especially good. Positives: * Food quality * Ambiance Negatives * Service is slow, especially outside (and the particular waiter we had was not terribly polite or apologetic) * A bit expensive

Love this local spot. Their branzino is cooked perfectly. They give such a large portion and the lemon potatoes are a great side. It also did come with a complimentary side dish of rice. I need to try other dishes from here but the branzino so far has been an obsession of mine.

Decoration was nice. Service wasn't the best it was just ok . The busser was on the top of the table instead of the waitress. Food was ok some dishes was really good some of them not, like the plaki wasn't good . For what I taste it was overpriced.

Two couples had dinner at Korali before a show at the nearby 92nd St Y. We shared hummus to start - it was lighter than I expected but still good. Women really enjoyed shrimp Santorini, my friend had plaki, a striped bass dish, and I had the grilled dorado. Service was excellent. The decor inside was attractive. Everyone was very happy with the experience.

Had the cheese saganaki, halloumi, spinach pie, hummus, htipiti, Melitzanosalata, and chicken souvlaki. Spinach pie was by far the best. The hummus and dips were also pretty great. I found the chicken to be a bit dry but the dish was quite tasty.

I had a great time here! They have a nice outdoor seating area. Yes, it's not "cheap" but worth every penny. I started with the 3 dip sampler and the Zeus drink. I then had The seafood platter (octopus, crab cakes, shrimp) and it was honestly some of the best seafood I've had. Everything was promptly delivered and the service from start to finish was great!

I ordered delivery timing was great food arrived quickly, I ordered the Greek salad with chicken. Omg it was so good loved it. I also ordered the 3 spreads eggplant, hummus, and spicy feta, it was so yummy. The order came with warm pita bread and multigrain bread. I tried the orzo soup it was also very tasty. Can't wait to dine in the restaurant.

Very nicely decorated inside, split levels provide more space than you'd think from outside. The top level for example would be good for a group for a birthday party or event. We went for lunch and had lamb sandwiches and chicken / avocado tomato sandwiches. Honestly both were great- very well presented and laid out, tasty and classy. Not enough places do good lamb, and this was the main reason we came up here to try it- it didn't disappoint. Reason I didn't give this 5 stars are that the dinner menu seemed fairly pricey, and there is no kids menu. My little guy was able to order pasta with butter so that worked out ok.

I live in the neighborhood and wanted to try the place. Everything was bad. The wine was bad, the food was awful. I he'd the fish stew and it tasted like something left over from 5 nights before. My mom and dad had the steak, it was dry and tasteless the waiter forgot the appetizer. I don't think will go there again.

Fresh, high quality Greek fare with a lovely atmosphere inside and out. The staff is warm and welcoming. We came on the first night of indoor dining and although the outside was packed, the host was respectful of our decision to eat outside. We ordered the grilled octopus and Greek salad. While the dishes are pricey and only moderately sized, the food is fresh and well-prepared. The best Greek food on the UES!

They're 100% back to normal after Covid. The bar is open for dining. Still good food, service and value. Highly recommended.

Very authentic Greek restaurant on the upper east side. The decor is beautiful. The staff are attentive and proactive. The food is always served fresh, and is truly delicious! My favorite appetizer is spinach pie, and my go to dish is the skewered sword fish!

Delicious food and wine, super kind staff, and beautiful outdoor and indoor setup! Nicholas and Catherine were amazing and very helpful. The portions may look small but are filling, and go great with some greek wine!

I pass by Korali often and it is normally busy so I figured it was time to check it out. It is a nice looking restaurant with white walls and rustic wood and stone accents. We were seated upstairs and it was not too loud. The waitress brought out two types of bread, one was a wheat bread with seeds on the top and the other was a rustic white bread. Both were good dipped in the accompanying olive oil with oregano. Ordered: Korali chips ($15)- a heaping pile of thinly sliced fried zucchini and eggplant served with tzatziki. The chips were a little greasy but still tasty. They were a little stingy with the tzatziki. My friends and I were scraping the bowl to try to get the last of the dip. Cod Plaki ($29)- Korali bakes their cod in tomato sauce with sliced onions and serves it atop creamy mashed potatoes. The cod was cooked well but I prefer my cod not doused in sauce. If you like your cod prepared this way, I would consider ordering this dish. Galaktoboureko ($9)- Korali's desserts are phenomenal! This traditional Greek dessert is made of semolina custard covered in crispy filo dough and served warm. Nutella Mousse ($9)- hands down the best thing we had at Korali! If you are a fan of Nutella, don't miss this. The Nutella mousse is served in a mason jar topped with fresh strawberries. Overall: Korali is a nice Greek restaurant, however, I don't think I will be returning because there are other more reasonable Greek places that are just as good, if not better-- looking at you, Beyoglu!

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants on the UES. Large menu, you are definitely going to one one of everything! So hard to choose but you will not be disappointed with anything that they offer. Everything is fresh and authentic as if you were dining in Greece!

Went here for a small group celebration and it is a very nice atmosphere. We had the pita dip tasting appetizer, which was really flavorful. The waiters brought us more pita as we needed it as well. Had the lavraki fish and potatoes, which was really tasty, and the wine options are really great as well. Baklava for dessert did not disappoint either! Highly recommend this spot.

From the warm atmosphere, to the amazing service and exceptionally delicious food, this place has it all! It's hard finding a Greek restaurant in the city, and after many failed attempts, I can confidently say this is by far the best Greek food in NYC. I dined here last night with my friend and we had an amazing experience. Our waiter had helpful recommendations and wast great the entire time. We had Korali chips which came with tzatziki sauce. For our meals we had lamb souvlaki and I had lamb chops with lemon potatoes. The lamb chops melted in my mouth along with the potatoes. To finish our meal, we each had espresso martini which was amazing - perfect amount of sweetness and alcohol. I'll definitely be back!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. I had such an amazing experience last night. I took myself out to dinner as a treat to celebrate life and found myself having an incredible time. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I was greeted by a lovely hostess, who brought me to a beautiful table for one. A lovely young man came to pour me cold water. I was handed an electronic menu. Very fancy, efficient and beautifully designed. A lovely, kind and helpful gentleman came to take my order. We planned my next trip to Greece as he told me about where he grew up and recommended the best time of the year to visit. I had once planned a trip for 10 days throughout the cities and along the islands of Greece, but my friend got ill and we had to cancel our trip last minute. I've had such a desire to go ever since! I ordered two dishes, an appetizer and an entrée and they were both delicious beyond on my wildest expectations. Very reasonably priced. The food was fresh and well cooked, and perfectly seasoned. I had fresh pita with eggplant spread and for the entrée orzo with a creamy tomato sauce,, jumbo shrimp, and sprinkled with feta cheese and fresh herbs on top to garnish. What an incredible night! Incredible experience. I was recently told that there are no coincidences in life, that everything in this life happens for a reason I had stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, as I traversed the neighborhood, getting lost, and losing my favorite hat in the cold, wet rain while searching for apartments in the area. I absolutely will return to this restaurant time after time. I have already made plans to return with three people. I couldn't help myself but ask if they would join me while I was still sitting at the table! Rave reviews! On my way out, I met the owner. Kind, lovely and modest. What a wonderful business. I will be a guest for life. And will continue to recommend to family and friends. Do yourself a favor and get there fast. Very popular... I was the first one in sitting in an empty dining room at 7 PM. I recommend making a reservation as it was completely full without a table left in the dining room, an hour later. Enjoy!

This is one of the Greek restaurants in NYC with high quality ingredients prepared simply. Not best in class, but even a mediocre version is quite good. Would happily go again.

We had the Dorado fish, Greek salad and scallop/shrimp kabob along with pita bread and tzatziki sauce. All was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent!

Had a hankering for Greek food and found this place to try for the first time. This is what you get for a $22 "wrapped souvlaki": two meager, burnt strips of dried-up pork atop an over-dressed "slaw" of some sort, along with a giant, brown bag of soggy fries. Trying to be supportive of restaurants, but it's gonna take a bit more effort here to entice us back.

OPA! Terrific Greek restaurant edition on the UES / Yorkville part of town. Beautiful ambiance and atmosphere to wine and dine at. Like strolling along the streets of Mykonos, Delphi, or Athens and finding an airy cafe with whitewalls, cobblestone, wood, and marble. Very upscale looking but caters to a casual crowd vibe. Main dining room on main level, nice bar to sit at for cocktails, and a smaller dining room on an upper balcony area. The food and service here is very good. Love the Greek salad with the large slabs of feta cheese. I can eat a whole block the size of a brick of that cheese if it was put in front of me. Tasty seafood plates too each time we have dined here. Classic Greek food done right. Expect to pay well for a meal here but it's worth it. It's a great choice to take a date to or dine with friends. Don't pass up a chance to eat here because of it's location. It's worth the trek uptown to my hood.

This review is only for the Happy Hour- And I wish there was more to say. Pro: Dollar oysters weekdays 4:30-6pm. Don't have to sit at the bar to get this special, can actually sit at a table. Oysters were fresh and served with a lovely raspberry vinegar. Cons: Happy Hour a bit less happy with no booze specials to wash down those oysters! Full priced wine left me feeling not so happy. In short, would have stayed longer had their been a drink special to go along with oysters. But who wants to hang around with full priced apps and booze. Add more to the Happy Hour and I would be much happier coming back.

The blonde host is awful!!!!! That's all I have to say. We asked to switch our table and she was so rude.

The greek salad was the best part, so so good, feesh and delicious! The fish was okay, not something I wanted to try again! Also, I didn't like the lemon potatoes it wasn't completely baked!

I've been here a couple times but my review is for the time I had takeout. I got the chicken kebab and the lamb chops. The lamb chops were amazing. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The lemon potatoes are also to die for. The chicken kebabs, on the other hand, were super dry. The tzatziki helped a bit to offset the dryness, but the chicken was way too overcooked for my tastes. I know this place serves good food though so giving it a 4!

Underwhelming, considering the generally positive reviews. Small portion sizes for the prices, and the food itself wasn't that great. I got the Horiatiki salad which was really just a bunch of bell peppers with some cucumber, tomato, feta, and olives, which was just ok. The calamari appetizer was just "fine" as well, honestly, not as delicious than some calamari I've gotten at midtown bars The interior decor is absolutely beautiful, for what it's worth. Agree with other reviews, crowd is definitely 40+.
