The Best Affordable Restaurants in Seattle

"The sad news is that, in response to the new minimum wage rules, this Korean homestyle lunch spot has recently switched their focus to teriayki. But the good news is that the teriyaki’s solid, and there are still a few Korean dishes lurking on the new menu. The silken tofu soup, served sizzling in a stone bowl, was Korean Bamboo’s signature dish, and the veggie version is still around, starting at $11, with meat options for an additional fee." - Meg van Huygen, Eater Staff

I’d been curious to try this spot for a while since there aren’t many Korean restaurants in Belltown—and finally gave it a go! I ordered the tofu soup, which was pretty solid—warm, flavorful, and comforting. The prices were reasonable too, which is always a plus in this area. That said, the menu felt a bit limited, and to my biggest surprise… there was no kimchi served with the meal. For a Korean restaurant, that felt like a pretty big miss. I eventually asked the staff and they did bring some out from the kitchen. I appreciated, but I was genuinely surprised it wasn’t provided by default. Unfortunately, that small detail left a bigger impression than I expected. I’m not sure I’d return—there are certain things I just assume will come standard with Korean food, and kimchi is definitely one of them.

I stopped by today and they are renovated to be a teriyaki place. I had a half chicken/half beef teriyaki & spicy pork ribs. Everything was very good. I liked their recipes, not too sweet or salty. As a matter of fact, their pork ribs were from their grandma's recipes, the owner said. I will be coming back to try their homemade Kimbap. The owner lady is working so hard to make this place work for the neighborhood.

Google
We just found our fav Korean restaurant in Seattle! No frills basic (or a bit rough) service and decor but super authentic and tasty food. Everything we ordered was so good and our Korean friend told us it’s the best Korean food he had in North America outside of NY/LA. The portions were huge for the price so come hungry or share plates! The tteokbokki was SO soft and chewy at the same time. Loved it.

Google
Been visiting this place for a couple of years now. Menu has been updated, lesser items now . No more elaborate Banchan, only kinchi. This trip I had the spicy tofu soup with beef, which was good overall as usual and the kinchi fried rice which wasn't fantastic.

Korean Bamboo offers delicious Korean cuisine, with excellent vegan options. The menu seems to be overhauled and so easy while keeping all the great options from before. I got the tofu bibimbap and veggie dumplings. Both of them were great. They even gave extra tofu as I chose to get it without eggs. They have really quick service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am definitely a repeat customer for this restaurant.

Google
Delicious and good price! We had a combo, which contained a tofu soup and a beef dish, costing only $20. The beef japchae was also nice ($15 only). Recommend the food!

What a delightful place the daughter who works up front is truly kind and wonderful. I love a good tofu soup and this hit the spot, excellent banchan, fantastic people

Google
The taste of food is okay. The banchan are not too special. My bibimbap was spicy for me. They should let the us know that the Bibimbap would be spicy. My husband' jjampong was good to him, but a bit salty for me.

Yelp
I walked past this restaurant many times, but never really noticed it. But since I was craving some tteokbokki (rice cakes), we came here. The inside of the restaurant is quite large and comfy. There is self-serve water and roasted corn tea. You also help yourself to utensils and sauces you would like. I ordered the spicy bar rice cakes and added ramen. It was so delicious and flavorful with a perfect spice level for me. I will say the rice cakes were a little too soft for my liking, as I like it a little bit more al dente. But other than that, the dish was great and definitely satisfied the craving. NOTE: this dish can be made vegetarian-friendly! The service alone makes me want to come back soon. The woman who took our order was incredibly welcoming and kind. She answered all our questions about the menu in great detail. She also served our food and refilled our banchan without us asking, for no charge! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu :)

Yelp
I am so happy Korean Bamboo is open again! They remodeled and are back with a revised menu. My only qualm with the new Korean Bamboo is that they are not open during dinner time :( They've stopped including banchan with their dishes, but they have lowered the prices of all dishes. I'm a big fan of how quickly the food comes out and the quality of the food. My go-to item is the Galbitang, the portion size is really great. I love having a Korean place so close to us in Belltown!
google avatar

Margaret Y.

Yelp
If you judge them by their location, you will regret it big time Today, I had their new summer menu- cold noodle set with Galbi. Their price was a half less than the one I had last week near by. But the taste was very good. It was much like my mother's style. I'm telling the world that everyone should try before the hot weather is gone. I asked the owner lady where she got the recipe. Actually, her 70 years old mother is making it at the restaurant! No wonder it tasted like my mother's back in 80's... Well, it's time to call my mom tonight, saying hello. It's a sign, I guess.

Yelp
Korean Bamboo continues to be my favorite Korean restaurant, and dare I say they've gotten even more efficient with pick up orders? Korean Bamboo uses both DoorDash and UberEats, so if you're nearby and wanting to skip waiting for a table definitely do a pickup (either schedule ahead or as needed). Typically my order is ready within 10-20mins (slightly longer during the lunch and dinner rushes, as expected). The food is still really hot by the time I get home or back to the office, and I love that the portions are still the same. I like to order an extra set of banchan as leftovers are pretty much guranteed. Street parking is still limited, if possible try parking a few blocks away and walking over. A block up, in front of the bus stop and a building called Moda apartments, there's a small passenger drop off/pick up zone if you're needing a quick option for a pick up. Would not recommend parking there long term as the space is heavily used (Amazon, UPS, etc.) and may be prone to ticketing. With a lot of the nearby tech companies coming back in January for 5 days, expect increased foot traffic during lunch and early dinner.

Yelp
The soup came out SIZZLING! I absolutely love the banchan-- good variety and everything tasted great. I had the bibimbap and it was a humongous portion. Even though I was relatively hungry, I couldn't even finish it all! With that being said, it was very refreshing for a hot day. My boyfriend absolutely devoured his beef bulgogi soup. I love love love the ambiance of this place. It just felt so homey and welcoming. The staff checked on us a moderate amount of times and it just felt like I was coming over to family for dinner. Would highly recommend this spot :)

Yelp
This hole in the wall restaurant is so low key that I had no idea it existed even though I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in downtown Seattle for so long. Now that I've found it, I'll definitely be a regular here. Prices are reasonable (paid about $50 after tax and tip for dinner) and the service is fast and friendly. I got the combination with spicy beef bulgogi and the pork dumpling tofu soup. Both tasted great and were the perfect amount of spice. Pretty authentic! The stone pot bibimbap came with a very generous portion and was packed with veggies. We didn't end up finishing this dish and brought home leftovers. The free banchan was good and came with the standard dishes. It's not located in the best area but I had no problem there, though I might recommend parking on a different street. Overall I'm definitely coming back and would recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Korean Bamboo has done some remodeling and has launched a revised menu featuring more lunch items! The place is light and brighter than before. With the new menu, you can find original items too such as tofu soup (but with minced beef/pork), bibimbap, beef short ribs, gyoza dumplings and chive pancake. New items you'd love to try are kimbap, spicy pork ribs, chicken/beef teriyaki served with a tangy honey mustard dressing salad. Mmm!! I'm still in love with the beef short rib soup (kalbitang) and crossing my fingers to get the owner and her mother to bring it back. I cannot find a better Korean restaurant around the city than Korean Bamboo. The price, customer service, the level of care and love in the food makes me really feel at home everytime I dine here. Please note, hours of operations have updated and they are open until 4/4-30 now- no longer serving dinner.

Yelp
Hole-in-the-wall korean restaurant near Belltown. Not too busy when we went. Good for casual dinners for 2 Short rib bone soup (galbitang): 4/5 delicious. I remember the soup more than the galbi, it had egg mixed into it almost like an egg-drop soup. Comes with banchan of course, and purple rice. Would come again if I'm in the area to try other menu items.

Yelp
Def a whole in the wall. This place is definitely where I can get my home comfort food. After eating alot of American food for a few days I been missing korean food haha they give enough food and banchan. It's owned my mom and daughter and love to support local restaurants. The service was so nice and attentive. The place is small wish they could add a bit more light in the place. Give this place a try. We got a bulgogi combo w tofu soup. So good.

Yelp
Hearty and delicious..delicious home cooked meal..ordered the bibimbap. Banchan was delicious as well

Yelp
This small hole in the wall restaurant has saved me many nights when I was starving and needed a homecooked Korean style meal. My go to is the spicy pork combo with veggie tofu soup. I always bring my visitors here and It hits every time

Yelp
You have to try out their new menu! It's just as flavorful and filling as their previous menu. I love that they still have some Korean dishes even though they changed to a teriyaki shop.
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
I ordered pickup and it was ready when i got there. I got a combo that came with tofu soup and bibimbap. Some side dishes were included. The bibimbap was average but the tofu soup was flavorful. It was a good portion size too.
google avatar

Yelp
Affordable and delicious! What more could you ask for??? The good: - $18-22 will get you a combo meal w soooo much value like tofu soup + bimbivap or galbi w tofu soup omgggg - plenty if street parking - delicious bonchon that you can continue to refill - spicy 4 is very spicy according to my sweating friends haha. I'm a fan but be warned! The meh: We were seated in the corner and found it hard to flag down the waiter for more water or banchon refills but they're so nice and attentive when they come!
google avatar

Yelp
It's my last day in Seattle and I was craving for something warm and spicy. The time I went it wasn't busy, so it was first come first serve seating. The hostess was kind and service was quick. She offered me water and corn tea (which tastes amazing by the way! Don't knock it till you try it). I ordered the combo of stone bibimbap and veggie silken tofu soup. I've been to other Korean restaurants before but this was hands down the best I've ever had, dare I say it knocked down my reigning favorite local Korean restaurant back home. The soup was spicy (just the way I like it) with a strong kick from the taste of radishes, and the bibimbap tasted amazing; it hit the spot! If you're ever in Seattle and have a spicy craving please stop by here! It's worth it.

Yelp
Stumbled upon Korean Bamboo after visiting the Space Needle and Amazon Orbs. The place was packed with other patrons but thankfully we were able to secure a table for the five of us. The beef tofu soup was a great way to warm me up since it was freezing when we visited Seattle. The bowl was a lot bigger than what I'm normally used to so I wasn't able to finish all the soup since I got full fast. They served the soup with purple rice (which is the BEST) with the tastiest banchan. I was not a fan of the pancake banchan since it came out cold but the potatos and kimchi were an absolute hit. I like how they also have Korean Chinese dishes on the menu. I was definitely conflicted on what to order but I really liked what I ended up with.
google avatar

Juz C.

Yelp
As always this is comfort lunch food! They offer complimentary tea which is nice. The food is also really good, and the side dishes were also good. They offered braised potato, bean sprouts, fish cake and kimchi. The service is also good though they kinda feel a bit understaff and the server was scrambling too. When we went here on a Wed lunch time there was no line which was awesome. The ambiance is very hole in the wall type place. Other than that, we will definitely be back here again since this was close to school.

Joshua D.

Yelp
The tiny amount of meat in this dish was extremely upsetting. $20 for a bunch of rice and lettuce. They charged me $.75 because I ordered it to-go!
google avatar

Audrey F.

Yelp
Great spot for Korean food! This spot has a decently wide variety of Korean dishes and even has a Korean Chinese food section. I tried their spicy rice cakes with beef and enjoyed how soft and chewy the rice cakes were. What most impressed me was their selection of banchan because it was all my favorites -- Napa cabbage kimchi, soy sauce potatoes, pancakes, etc. -- and because each bowl of banchan was so large. I noticed that all of the portion sizes here were big, so you can definitely share them with friends. The only thing is that this space is expensive, given it's casual ambience. For example, adding cheese to the rice cakes was about $2 more.

Yelp
It was cold outside baby! Walked a few blocks from the Space Needle, a few turns here and there and Wabash! Arrived! The Greeters and Cooks all Korean! Took out orders pretty quickly and food arrived timely fight after. We pretty much had all the main familiar dishes, and they were all tasty! The only! And I say only drawback was the walk back to where we parked, near the needle. Decent size dining room, out dated, but clean and good service! Thank you Seattle!!!

Yelp
The Orange Chicken dish was the most savory and crispy orange chicken I've had in my life. Props to the chef. Also, the staff were great.

Yelp
Excellent service, the server was very polite and accommodating to our vegetarian needs. Food tasted great, especially loved the banchan!

Yelp
Amazing family owned Korean restaurant located in downtown!!! There's not a lot of Korean places here and i so glad i found this! Their combos are amazing deal. You get a tofu soup and a meat dish for less than $18!! I love how all the sides are included as well. The service was great. I came in the last minute before they closed before dinner and they were willing to let me stay and eat while the store closed for the lunch.

Yelp
I'd love to give Korean bamboo a major shoutout for always being so good & fresh. I discovered them on my walk home & fell in love with their side dishes. One of my favorite things to get is their squid stir fry! It's the perfect amount of spicy, a generous amount of squid & veggies/onions. To tie the dish together you can enjoy their amazing side dishes and phenomenal kimchi. Definitely stop by while in Belltown. If you choose to dine in then you'll be pleased to find the dim setting very comforting & adds to the greatness of the experience here. Take out is also a great option as they clearly go the extra mile when packaging. They recently updated their hours so they are open all day rather than closing @ mid day! Thank you

Yelp
Out of convenience and cravings, I checked this place out for a somewhat substantial meal. This place opens at 4:30 for dinner which is pretty convenient when I am on a tight schedule later. However, food quality wasn't good unfortunately. I got the combo with short ribs and mixed (beef + seafood) tofu soup. Short ribs are a bit on the sweeter side which is up to preference. However, I felt like I was eating cardboard - it was not tender or juicy at all. I'm not sure if they missed adding baking soda to tenderize the meat, as I wasn't able to chew off some of the meat. Also, if you see the picture, they included a burnt piece of short rib as one piece, and there weren't even that many pieces to begin with (4-5 pieces - more like 1.5 regular short rib pieces but cut into smaller chunks with not that much meat in). I'm used to short ribs where you can easily eat everything including tendon, leaving the bone behind, and it was nowhere near that. I tried and wanted to, but I was eating broken bone pieces suddenly... The tofu soup was not too spicy (though I wasn't even asked the spiciness level). It had a little tangy aftertaste, perhaps what they used to prepare the soup base, but I wasn't a fan. It's great they included purple rice which I like when I eat Korean food, but it was a bit too mushy, not the texture I like compared to other places. Portions ended up being pretty small for how high the price was ($23.99 before tax and tip). I understand the rising costs and stuff but quality just isn't there to justify (see above). I wasn't even full. The saving grace were the side dishes - namely bean sprouts, potatoes, vegetable pancake, fish cake, and kimchi. I had to ask for seconds (because they're free) in order to get a remotely substantial meal. Things of note that were pretty minor but worth calling out: the ambience is pretty bad - badly lit (not dimly lit like romantic restaurants) and the table was very sticky. I wanted to move my napkins a bit further and they just stuck onto the table. It's so close to where I live and I like Korean tofu soup, but I'm disappointed by the experience here. I'd probably have to venture farther to satisfy my cravings adequately.

Yelp
This was close to my house and it was a super rainy and super cold and just a plain miserable night...so I ordered some takeout to eat at home- I am Korean and even amongst Korean people who were raised by Korean Parents-every family prepares the same dishes differently- While what I ordered was good it wasn't prepared like I am used to (and let's be honest mom's homemade is always the best) :) I ordered Soondubu-jjigae and also Japchae- Soondubu-jjigae: It was overall good but was lacking in some flavour- so I got home and doctored it up a bit to the way my mum made it at home. Japchae: The flavour was good-however the noodles were way mushy (it tasted like someone overcooked them). The offer purple rice (no comment) The portions are good and I had leftovers for the next day. The banchan was ok- warm kimchee (ick)...but there were potatoes, chive pancake and marinated beansprouts and marinated fishcake (which was oddly slimy). Maybe they were having an off evening, but I would come here again and give it another shot-

Yelp
First time trying Korean Bamboo and I was impressed! We ordered the beef bulgogi, spicy BBQ pork combo, and fried pork dumplings. Our meals came with purple rice and other sides -- a generous amount of food and reasonably priced. We got there at 6:30pm on a Wednesday evening and it was packed. Would definitely come back and would recommend!

Yelp
Great mama papa Korean comfort food at downtown, probably one of my favorite Korean food spot in town. Delicious and diverse bancan options, decent portion and great price for this premium location. Love the tofu soup, squid bibimbap and seafood pancakes. Pancakes are always crispy and full of ingredients, probably the best pancake in town. The entree dishes are just alright. Feel satisfied every time after our visit.

Yelp
3.5/5 - Korean Bamboo is a solid pick for Korean food in downtown Seattle. I've been here twice in the last weeks since discovering this place and while it definitely isn't among the top Korean places I've visited, it is still pretty tasty and the portion sizes are huge. The first time I visited Korean Bamboo, I ordered a Bibimbap with bulgogi, which was plated quite beautifully, with the vibrant colors really popping. All the toppings were fresh tasting, but nothing really exploded with flavor. The bulgogi likewise, tasted good but also lacked an explosion of flavor. It was also not quite as tender as I had wished. Overall, it was solid and I definitely ate my fill. The second time I visited, I ordered a half-and-half of mandu soondubu and spicy bulgogi. The dish came with a bowl of purple rice which was quite pretty. Both were piping hot when they got to my table, and the bulgogi this time was packed with flavor - spicy, fatty, salty bulgogi just like I wanted. The soondubu was also pretty good but the mandus didn't really have much flavor on their own. I will say that the portions were huge though - I was able to eat this order for two entire meals! The side dishes were solid, but not spectacular. I really appreciated how they included small chunks of their vegetable pancake in the side dishes, but I was a bit let down by the fact that they were stone cold. Had they been warm, I would've been overjoyed at receiving free vegetable pancakes but being cold, it felt like they just took leftover vegetable pancakes and threw them in my array of side dishes.

Yelp
I came with one friend around 6:30 and was quite surprised to find the place full. It's not the nicest ambiance or decor outside and I wouldn't recommend as a first date or with a large group, but the food was delicious and hit the spot. We ordered the dolsot bibimbap, galbi, and kimchi bokkum. I appreciated the purple (more nutritious rice) and how the taste/ingredients didn't deviate from the traditional style of the dishes. Personally didn't like how the egg was completely raw. There was only one server who was also working as the hostess/doing like three roles. Due to the lack of staff, the service was pretty bad but I could tell she was trying her best. Definitely recommend if you have a Korean food craving in Seattle!
google avatar

Ann N.

Yelp
Cute small business. My friends found this place after seeing the Space Needle. They had delicious banchans and the tteokbokki was the right texture with the noodle ramen. Service was fast as we were the only ones in the restaurant and had a couple to go orders while we were there.
google avatar

Jazz S.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place- we were craving authentic Korean food and this hit the spot. First off, not sure why some reviewers say the decor is bad when it feels very homely and authentic to Korean style dining. We liked it. The combo plates are a FANTASTIC deal especially for the area. We were able to split one and enjoyed wonderful panchan and hot soup. The purple rice is pretty and looks healthy but we did kind of miss the white rice. Everything was great except the soju was a bit overpriced and they brought it out for us when we had meant to order a different drink and we didn't correct them fast enough.

Yelp
As a lover of Korean food from the East Coast, I came to this hole in the wall spot not knowing what to expect. Man, this was a pleasant surprise! I'm going to be so sad when I leave Seattle because I won't be able to eat here again. I ordered the combo with Bibimbap and tofu pork soup, which totally blew me away. The bibimbap was mostly veggie and protein filled, which I appreciated. The tofu pork soup was nicely sour and spicy from the kimchi, super delicious. My partner really enjoyed the dumpling soup, which had a flavorful broth and most yummy dumplings. Honestly, the highlight for me was the banchan, which consisted of fish cakes, bean sprouts, scallion pancakes, kimchi, and potato. We had SUCH a banging meal here, I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
Picked up takeout for dinner. We got the bulgogi bibimbap (good flavor, not a lot of meat) and the kimchi fried rice ( delicious, but a little greasy). We also got a side of the pot stickers (standard). Food was ready quickly and pickup was easy.

Yelp
**vegetarian review** Korean bamboo stays very true to the flavours and is extremely reasonably priced food! I got the combo 5 (tofu soup and bibimbap) along with spicy rice cakes. Tofu soup- it arrived sizzling hot and was perfectly seasoned. Loved the plenty of veggies and the silk tofu! Bibimbap - the star for me. Perfectly charred rice with many veggies and sauce. I love the rice to veggie ratio (heavier on veggies side) Spicy rice cakes - this is a misnomer since it's not spicy and rather sweet. I got ramen added to it. But on the whole it's still quite delicious. The side dishes - oh how I love the caramelised sweet potatoes. And the salty bean sprouts! The onion pancakes where also quite nice. On the whole the service was fast. And the food was great. Must visit :)

Yelp
I ordered a tofu bibimbap via Ubereats from Korean Bamboo and was blown away by the large portions. They were also very generous with the banchan too. Many different types of bean sprouts, delicious kimchi, and the chive pancake was so yummy. 10/10 would order again!

Yelp
this is a cozy little spot in belltown that serves a nice variety of different comfort food! the portion sizes are good for sharing and the staff are all super friendly. we ordered combo #2 and chose spicy bulgogi with kimchi tofu soup and beef for the protein. we paired that with some tteokbokki and added some ramen noodles for another $2. everything was so delish and flavorful! i loved the banchan that came along with everything too. you're definitely getting a bang for your buck here.

Yelp
First lets get one thing straight. Seattle has terrible korean food. Terrible. I have a formulating theory that Seattle is so white, the only korean food they can actually sell in seattle is bulgogi and bibimbap. Check the reviews, i guarantee 80% base their review on what is actually the most basic korean dish and they pretend to be experts of honestly a dish impossible to get wrong lmao Jjajangmyun and jjampong are chinese inspired korean noodle dishes that is essentially impossible to find here. Honest to god. Best spot i could find was in lynnwood. Its actually disgraceful how bad the korean food scene is here as a korean. So when i saw this place served jjajangmyun and jjampong i had my expectations super low. Imagine my actual shock when it was actually pretty good. 5 stars for that alone. Lets save korean food in Seattle!!!!

Yelp
TREMENDOUS Korean food...small family place with excellent food and service. If you like spicy this is the spot. I tried spicy bbq pork and tofu dumpling soup. It came with rice and ban chan.. TREMENDOUS

Yelp
This is such a homely authentic Korean restaurant. And it's vegetarian friendly, which was an added bonus for our friends. We got a stone bibimbap, veggie steamed dumplings and the spicy rice cakes with tofu. The quantities were two meals worth and the banchan were pretty great too.

Yelp
Setting: This is a family owned Korean restaurant in downtown. We thought we would give this place a try because it is one of the few Korean places in downtown. Typically we go on Sundays when we are in downtown for church and when parking is free. Even though it's not a large restaurant, there is ample sitting, even for larger groups. Food: We've tried multiple dishes on the menu including: 1. Dumpling soup 2. Spicy BBQ pork 3. Soon tofu (dumpling, pork) Although none of the dishes are the most amazing Korean food we've had, all of them are solid and hit the spot when we are craving Korean food. It is definitely comfort food. The banchan (side dishes) are really good and I find myself asking for refills on them constantly. Value: The food is fairly priced and is probably one of the least expensive Korean restaurants in Seattle. The portions are large as well. The combos are perfect if you want to share a meal with someone. Service: We are always served by a nice Korean woman who we assume is the owner. Sometimes we order in Korean but she also understands English pretty well. The food typically comes out pretty quickly. Other: This place became a go-to spot for Korean food because my husband and I go to a church that is walking distance from here.

Yelp
Has to be the best, go-to-meal Korean place in the area. I've lived in Los Angeles and studied abroad in Korea and I can say confidently that I'd go to this place if it was located in LA or Korea. This is also the reason, I'm giving it a 4 instead of 5 because I've had better and cheaper. The portions are a very good size and this place has a nice spread of side dishes. You'll without a doubt be leaving full, happy, and with leftovers.

Yelp
3.5/5 A nice place for a fast, casual eat! The portion sizes were large for a decent price. The kimchee fried rice stone pot was huge and well spiced. The tofu soup was delicious! And the rice cakes were pretty good, I probably wouldn't order again. The food came with side dishes that were really tasty.

Yelp
In Seattle winters all you need is something hot and soupy. I discovered this place in Belltown and visited for dinner. I absolutely loved the soft tofu stew and the spread that comes with it. The soft tofu stew with a side of rice was mind blowing. The stone pot in which the stew was served stayed sizzling until the end. In the spread, Korean rice cake was outstanding , kimchi and also bean noodle. Absolutely loved the food here and definitely going back to try the kimchi tofu stew next time!

Yelp
I was in Seattle after a cruise and was staying in the lower Queen Anne area. After feeling a little under the weather a few days before, my appetite was coming back, and I went in search of some Korean food. I found Korean Bamboo on Yelp, and they had my favorite dish, hot stone pot bibimbap. After a short bus ride, I made it to the restaurant. Everything from the banchan to the beef bibimbap was delicious, and the portions were generous. The service was attentive and the staff cordial. I love small "hole in the wall" restaurants because they usually have the best food. I was not disappointed here, and the prices were very reasonable. I don't do many reviews, but this place is worth it and will be a future go-to spot when I visit Seattle.

Yelp
Food and service were amazing. They pay special attention to the banchan (side dishes). I had the jiajiang-myun, which was decadent. I also went back again for bibim-bap, which was amazing. 고맙섭니다, 아가시! / Big thanks to the young lady/owner who regaled me with the stories of her experience in the Korean diaspora. These recipes are her mom's and mom's cooking is amazing!

Yelp
Awesome food. The best Korean food. I absolutely love this place. It's not too often you have a place that served good Korean food as well as chinese-korean.
