This place recently changed its menu, adding Korean fried chicken and eliminate sushi. I went for the vegetable dolsat (stone pot) bibimbap, a longtime favorite which I've eaten all over the country for forty years. This is the only place I've found in town that serves bibimbap in a stone pot, which is essential. Bibimbap without it just isn't the same. I love the crispy rice that develops from the super-hot pot, which comes to your table sizzling. The bimbimbap here was very good, if a little smaller than most places where I've eaten it. They also serve banchan, small Korean sides (kimchi and such) that come as part of your meal, which aren't served at other Korean restaurants in Albuquerque and is always disappointing. The banchan, too, was a bit small -- only four selections (most Korean restaurants provide six to eight and sometimes seconds). I liked this restaurant and will go back. It could have a more diverse Korean menu, including dishes such as fermented soybean stew. I wish I could have given this place three and a half stars (it's better than a three), but Google doesn't allow that.
