One of the yummiest KBBQ I’ve ever tried in the Bay Area! And it’s charcoal grilled! The restaurant is conveniently located in the same strip mall as Tobang and Boba Pup. Plenty of parkings! We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and there was no line. The staff greeted us upon entrance and led us to our table. The inside looked neat and clean with shiny and spacious metal tables. We were recommended by our server to pick 2 meats (minimum). We have our eyes on the specially priced Wagyu thus we ordered that one, plus Galbi and seafood pancake. Our side dishes came out first with refreshing salad (with soft tofu) and various types of regular Korean side dishes. We especially enjoyed the red bean side dish! It’s savory, salty and just simply delicious! One of the side dishes was a tofu soup in a stone bowl. Our meat came out raw and our server grilled and cut them into smaller pieces right there on top of the charcoal stove for us! I love the sizzling sounds of fat droplets hitting the burning charcoal! The meat smelled heavenly and we all drooled waiting for the meats 🤤! It’s a bit pricey but we understand why it’s pricey now! The meat quality is so top notch! We savored every bite and enjoyed our dinner so much! The seafood pancake didn’t disappoint either! It was flavorful and fresh with generous amount of seafood. Our server was attentive and refilled our water and side dishes without us asking, which is a plus for me! Overall, 12/10! Check it out!

Ever since we visited S. Korea last year, we've grown to appreciate charcoal grilled Kbbq. We used to come here just for their regular menu with soup but recently, we've been going for the kbbq. This is a kbbq restaurant where they cook the meat for you and the quality of the meat is going to be a premium compared to an ayce. I called in to make reservations for 3 people on a Saturday night and we were seated promptly. For the meat, B1 such bul kalbi, is the one to get. This is the marinated rolled short rib that we loved when Palace used to be open for kbbq. They also take the meat and tendon off the bone to cook and bring it back on the grill for you. High recommend getting this cut. We've tried their special US wagyu recently because of their promo. I thought it was ok cause it felt too dry from the way it was cooked. I think I would just stick to their regular meat cut off their menu. I can't get enough of their salad that they provide. Something about their salad sauce, tofu and sliced almonds makes it addicting. I could eat their salad everyday if I could. Their service is great and they're on top of cooking the meat for you. There's also a call button at the table. Parking can get tricky during certain times. If you're coming for dinner, there's more parking available if go before 6pm on a weekend.

I had an amazing experience at Spring BBQ! The grilling skill of the server was absolutely top-tier — every bite was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care and expertise. What truly set this place apart, though, was the thoughtful service. At one point, the sun started shining directly onto my face. Before I could even mention it, a staff member quietly noticed and adjusted the shades to make me more comfortable. This small gesture really warmed me. Thank you so much.

Wife was craving for Korean bbq on a Saturday evening. We supposed to go to Tobang, but decided to try this new spot. The korean short ribs is one of the best we’ve ever had in bay area. Banchan’s are also tasty especially the salad with tofu. This is a great spot for drinking as well. Highly recommend this restaurant to fellow foodies. Cheers!

This place is amazing! I think about it often when I'm not in the Bay and I'm hungry. The meat is just so delicious and cooked to perfection. There's a lot of tasty sides, good beer, and great service. It feels very local and has a great vibe. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit. We always come up from San Jose for dinner!

Everything we ordered were pretty amazing but pricy. The service…nuh:(

Came here for lunch on the weekend after playing pickleball at the nearby courts and was surprised that the restaurant wasn’t crowded. The parking lot can get crowded, but after getting parking we were seated right away! This is one of the few restaurants that still do wood fire bbq and it was quite the experience! Each meat order came with so much food and someone was always there to help us cook and serve the meat. Everything was excellent and I will definitely be back!

Star of the meal was the pan fried seafood pancake with green onions. It was loaded with shrimp, squid, bell peppers and a light soy sauce for dipping. Cold noodles were light and refreshing. Broth was a bit sweet but added a little vinegar for balance. Glass potato starch noodles were chewy and thin. Very generous with the side dishes when we asked for refills. Only 4 side dishes but they were all fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. 2 gender restrooms.

Yelp
Was looking for cold noodles on a hot summer day, but our usual spot was closed for 4th of July. So we saw that Korean SprinG BBQ serve it along with some meat. A good amount of seating and they open until midnight which is nice. They gave us the option of sitting on a regular table or a grill table. We decided to get the rib eye which was around $65 and the brisket $45. They used wood charcoal so it gave it a smokey flavor. The meat was good quality but the amount of the brisket was quite little for $45. The spicy cold noodles with broth was not as cold as I'd like it to be and the broth didn't have as much depth. It was just spicy and a big tangy. The service was good and we use a buzzer to get the staff's attention. The side dishes were pretty good! Our favorite was the tofu salad with a roasted onion dressing. We had 3rds for that one :)

Yelp
my friends and i dropped by this place for dinner on our way home from the bay and since my friend kept hyping it up, I was really expecting to be blown away. And boy I was so glad to be rightly excited. The meat was so juicy and tender on top of fermented perilla leaves and kimchi. It's rare for me to see fermented perilla leaves so I was damn excited for it. The kimchi wasn't too salty either. All the banchans were delicious and the servers were so nice and friendly, especially the auntie who grilled our meat. It would've been a perfect 5 stars if the tang had any flavor or more sauce options to use for it. But man did the tofu salad make up for it. I had to order an extra just for myself. This was our oversight, but they only have the $200 late night combo that includes 4 meats, tang, soju, baked egg & tofu salad. It was kind of expensive for what we got but it filled us up alright. We were kinda bummed since we got there at 9 and were looking forward to trying their other dishes but we will definitely come earlier next time we're in town.

Fiona T.

Yelp
We opted for the prime ribeye and kalbi in house sauce. It's pricy but it's a lot of food. The total came out to about $144 before tip. This was more than enough for 2 people. They cook and cut the meat in front of you above charcoal. Careful if you're afraid of heat. Your face can get very warm from sitting and eating in front of the fire. The sides were very yummy. I asked for 2 refills of the macaroni salad. The onions also paired well with the meat. Be ready to wait 1-2 hours for a table. Giving this one star down since some of the meat was undercooked and needed to be put back on the grill.

Lydia L.

Yelp
On the hunt for some good Korean Cold Noodles and that led me here to this spot! The noodles here are not bad, not my favorite but they're better than some other places I've had. The galbi that we ordered with it was delicious though, I thoroughly enjoyed the marinade and tenderness of the meat. Prices here ran a little higher than I expected, with two people coming out to be 80 dollars for 2 bowls of noodles, and one plate of galbi to share. Service here is super friendly and nice!! They were so sweet and I want to be back to try their actual bbq because it seems like they cook it for you here!

Yelp
Initially, I wanted to go to Kunjip because I wanted non-BBQ Korean food. Kunjip had a long wait, so my husband and I decided to give this place a try since it didn't seem too busy and we were able to get a table right away. I was a bit skeptical since this place didn't have 4+ stars. We ended up ordering beef & seafood soon soup, seafood pancake, and seafood bibimbap. The seafood pancake was perfectly battered to where the pancake was super crispy. The ratio was more seafood & green onions to batter, which I really liked. The hot stone used to cook the bibimbap had perfectly scorched rice, which is my favorite part of the bibimbap! The beef & seafood soon soup was delicious. My husband and I really enjoyed all these dishes. We also asked for some more banchan as well! I'm really glad we decided to eat here for dinner. Although this is a BBQ spot, the non-BBQ items were delicious! The service was pretty good. There's a button at each table for customers to ring if they need assistance from their servers. This restaurant is located in a small plaza with very limited parking. We usually struggle trying to find parking during the rush hours on weekends. So you might have to park on the street. There are two unisex restroom stalls.

Christina P.

Yelp
For just $14.99, the variety on offer is impressive. The spicy beef stew, a standout dish, was absolutely delicious with its rich flavors and perfect heat level. The grilled chicken, though slightly on the sweeter side for our tastes, was still enjoyable. Each meal is accompanied by a small side dish, and the restaurant generously offers refills. The ambiance adds to the experience - the place is very clean and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Plus, parking is a breeze, which is always a bonus. In summary, this spot is a hidden gem that serves up comfort on a plate with their lunch special. Highly recommended for those looking for quality food at a great price!

Yelp
As a transplant from LA, I was missing that charcoal flavor with my K-BBQ. This place has it and it's fantastic. They cook it for you at the table as well. Get the marinated charcoal ribs (sut yangyeom kalbi). Bring a friend because it is min 2 order min banchan and jigae was also spot on. Highly recommended

Yelp
We arrived there a bit past 8p and we were rushed to eat our meal. Fortunately the food came up fast and aside being told that we had 10 minutes remaining at the end of our meal, the rest of the service was great. Highlights + Spicy beef rib soup ($30) had big tender chunks of beef and was certainly the best dish (5/5) + Japchae ($20) was freshly made piping hot with lots of beef and cartilage meats but could use more glass noodles (5/5) + Best kimchi I've had in awhile (5/5) + Marinated bbq kalbi ($60) is of high quality prime beef but only 2 unrolled bones were barely enough (4/5) Could be better - Sliced prime beef for bbq ($50) was served plain and all we had is the bean paste to dip (3/5) - Korean banchan options are limited here but the few items are of high quality (3/5) Disappointed - We should be made aware before we order that closing time means we all have to be out of the restaurant by 9pm (1/5) - $200 for 3 adults is pricey and although food is overall good I was nowhere near full (1/5) - I've had premium Korean bbq at places like Ten Butchers and I agree with another reviewer here that I'd rather go there

Jo J.

Yelp
I had a terrible experience at Korean Spring BBQ in Santa Clara. The service was extremely slow and the staff was rude and dismissive. The food was overpriced and tasted bland. The restaurant was also dirty and poorly maintained. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else for a better dining experience.

Jordan E.

Yelp
This is a go to spot for my family and I, found it about 1 year or so ago and loved the taste. However as most other reviews show as well it is extremely pricey, recently they gained new popularity through social media which is causing more business which is great. It's roughly a $200 dinner for 2-3 people so be warned before going in. The interior was okay, just like any other Korean bbq spot just about. Service is always friendly and nice and I really like the press button for service if you need anything. Makes requesting more water or food much easier instead of waiting for a waiter to pass by

Michelle N.

Yelp
I love the cold noodles and LA galbi meal set! I ordered it twice and it was so delicious. This restaurant became one of my favorites for when it is hot, along with Kunjip.

Khuyen D.

Yelp
Overall experience was great - the staff was so nice :) and I loved the wood fire grill! If you love bbq-ing meat in general - you'll love the wood fire grill because it gives it the Smokey wood taste which I was a huge fan of! My favorite part was getting the beef rib - they cook cartridge part separately making these delicious crunchy pieces! Love love love ! The seafood pancake was also yummy - perfectly crunchy not too salty !

Yelp
AUTHENTIC CHARCOAL GRILL KBBQ RESTAURANT! PLUS, AUTHENTIC AGED KIMCHI (묵은지) AND THE BEST STEAMED EGG (계란찜 / GAERANJJIM) IN TOWN! (The new midnight menu from 9PM - 12AM is awesome for any night owls). I'm definitely going to be a regular because this really reminds me of Korea. Support this lovely mom and pop owned, Korean-approved restaurant with me! My friends and I were looking for a late night post-workout KBBQ restaurant last week and we stumbled across Korean Spring BBQ. It was pretty empty when we went so we got to talk to the lovely Korean owners who were working and they shared that business has been a little slow. They also mentioned they recently launched a new 9PM - 12AM set menu that they asked me to share with friends. Everything was delicious and the side dishes tasted so authentic (we had to ask for more kimchi because it was frickin' incredible). And yes, the charcoal grill makes the meat taste so much better! Korean approved

Duyen D.

Yelp
Amazing service, friendly cheerful staff and the food here is delicious! I will be back and everyone should go try. All dishes are fresh and delicious. I really like the banchan here. I feel it tastes better than other places I've eaten before and I also like the restaurant's space, it makes me feel comfortable when eating in the restaurant. This is a must try place when you are in town!

Jane T.

Yelp
Korean BBQ ! One of the most authentic places that uses coal! Makes the flavor much better. Clean and happy ambience, large tables that can accommodate large number of guests. I am definitely coming back again

Lukas S.

Yelp
Came here to host friends visiting from abroad. The place is easy to find and has plenty of parking in front. It was not busy at all for dinner, and we had all the attention of the very friendly staff. It looks kind of basic, but you see regular customers coming back for the good food, which is what this is all about. The interior is clean and sort of minimalist: just grill stations and vent hoods, everything in stainless steel and shiny clean. We ordered a bunch of bbq, some soups (seafood soup was delicious!), some rice cakes and a seafood pancake (very thin and crispy, loved it). The spice level was enjoyable for our European friends. Really attentive staff, even packed our leftover soju in a bag so that we wouldn't get in trouble on the way home. Already have a plan to go back, it was so yummy. Thank you, Korean Spring!

Kim l.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place. When we arrived I wasn't in the mood for k bbq so we were directed to the other side of the restaurant. We ordered: Galbi tang: 4/5 they are very generous with the meat but overall the broth is better next door at Kunjip. Army soup: I had no idea what we were ordering and was surprised when it was served. This soup was filled with salty sausage and spam and kimchi. Broth is super salty. Comes with a side of ramen noodles. If you like salty salty food this is for you. Good service. I wouldn't mind coming back to try their bbq next time. Hope it's as good as ToBang!

Joe S.

Yelp
A step above the ayce joints. The kalbi is excellent, the cold noodles were also above average. The service is no nonsense but efficient, fast, and they cook everything for you perfectly, you never have to wait. Their side dishes were also much nicer than most places. The only knock on this place is the price, you could go to ten butchers for a way more premium experience for almost the same price.

Lawrence T.

Yelp
To be honest, this was not our first choice when we parked in this strip mall. The other restaurant, had a waiting list. So we picked this restaurant which was just two doors down. We were seated immediately and the staff was very friendly and fast. We were pleasantly surprised that we walked in to this establishment. Unfortunately I was not able to take any photos of the place. Did not expect anything from this place and I apologize for underestimating. Food was amazing, ordered the LA Galbi, Galbi Tang and Steamed Egg. All of them did not disappoint. The Galbi Tang had the perfect amount of saltiness and beef chunks to satisfy anyone's craving for beef soup. The ambiance is nothing to write home about. Nothing special, there's just one area to have your Korean barbecue cooked in front of you, then the other side just have regular tables so that they don't cook in front of you.

Nikki B.

Yelp
Great bbq, the food comes out great. The only complaint is it's hard to get things ordered through servers when they're busy.

Cynthia S.

Yelp
My Korean friend who always knows the most legit Korean restaurants recommended this place to me as one of the only KBBQ in the area that has charcoal. I don't get Korean BBQ very often so I decided to go with my whole family during the holidays as a little treat. (I made a reservation to be safe but there were a couple empty tables so I don't think it would be hard to get a seat) We ordered three different meats, a soup (galbitang), and a seafood pancake, and I think it was just about the perfect amount of food to fill up five people (especially because the meats came with complimentary soybean stew, tofu salad, onion salad, and banchan of course) The galbitang was really rich and flavorful and the seafood pancake was crispy and delicious, but of course the star of the show were all the meats. We got the marinated short rib, the bulgogi, and the pork belly and they were honestly all so delicious that it was hard for any of us to pick a stand out favorite. I love how they cook everything in front of you to perfection, and of course the charcoal grill gave everything the nice smoky charred flavor that you get from real wooden charcoal. Dipped in a little sesame oil + ssamjang and everything was so incredible. Even my mom who doesn't eat a lot of meat was really impressed with every dish and kept going back for more. I will definitely be back here again anytime I'm getting a hankering for some amazing Korean BBQ in south bay!

Daniel H.

Yelp
Very good food, good atmosphere I was expecting the meals to be a little bit more fresh, but it was very good anyways Very good costumer service Thx

Lam T.

Yelp
I'm not sure why others gave this place bad review but we had wonderful experience over here. Meats quality are very good and services are top notch. The charcoal grill also add great flavor to the meat. Will come back for sure

Mia W.

Yelp
Service was attentive, prompt, refresh drinks water often, help you cook. The restaurant is divided into a table grill area, and a back room area where it's kitchen food and/or portable grill. I didn't order any grill items. - sliced beef cold noodles were good. eat it with their mustard and vinegar. - seafood pancake was good. My neighboring table got pork belly on a portable grill and that smelled great.

Teresa B.

Yelp
Amazing service and the food is so good! Must try when in town! I will be back! All the meat is fresh and good servings. It is a must try when you are in town!

Kareem A.

Yelp
First time trying this place on April 21.2023. I didnt know what to expect except that you have got to get their non marinated wood-fired Kalbi. This is not the LA cut but in roll form. The wooden charcoal grill was the first I've seen and with any grill place it gets pretty cold inside due to the vents. Decently sized place about 10 tables or so but for a Friday night waited about 45 min for a table of 3, even at 7pm. Need to order at least 2 items off the Wood BBQ items (about $50-$60 ea.) Banchan (just ok), soup, and an almond tofu salad (5/5) that I loved comes with the entree. Servers were very friendly and efficient, even gave a pack of seaweed for kids. We got 2 orders of the Kalbi (5/5). To my surprise they cook for you the meaty portion of the short rib and then come back and trim off all the meat/tendons off the bones and cook that for a 2nd round. The meat was one of the most tender I have ever eaten, perfectly flavored and not too salty. I really enjoyed my time a here and would love to eat here again sometime, highly recommend this place!

Ziyi Y.

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean places in south bay! I love their traditional dishes, haven't got the chance to try their kbbq yet. Must try their yuk hwe bibimbap (raw beef) & fried oyster :) The raw beef is well marinated and literally melts right in your mouth. The oysters are super soft and juicy, goes well with the dipping sauce too! The kbbq area is louder but if you're only getting individual dishes the other side is quite with less people!

Ernesto N.

Yelp
Been here twice and its so so good! Definitely one of my go to spots for non-kbbq korean food

Annie C.

Yelp
Yes, they are serving the midnight menu now from 9pm-12am. Owner is very friendly ! Come with your friends if you are looking for late night charcoal Korean BBQ! Glad we find a place that open late !

Kathryn N.

Yelp
I went here with a party of 4 and we ordered the following: beef short rib in special Korean sauce, beef short rib in sesame oil, pork belly, seafood pancake, and steamed egg. They also gave us complimentary soup (I'm not sure if it was because we ordered 2 or 3 meats). My favorites were actually the steamed egg and kimchi. The steamed egg is nice and silky and I'd say that it's my favorite steamed egg among all the kbbq places I've been to. I also liked how the kimchi here is on the sour side (I would've liked it even more if it was spicier but I still liked it nonetheless). The seafood pancake was good too. As for the meats, I liked the beef short rib in special Korean sauce the most, followed by the pork belly, and the beef short rib in sesame oil in last place. The cuts of beef short rib here are thinner than what I'm accustomed to when I order it at the other kbbq restaurants so it doesn't feel as satisfying. The short rib also isn't as tender as other places. As for the charcoal element, I do taste it in the meats but it doesn't really make the meats any tastier in my personal opinion. Overall, my fave kbbq in SJ is still Chungdam but I would consider coming back here just to get the steamed egg.

Diva C.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Korean wood-fired bbq. Every single meat dish was so fresh, tender, and deliciously marinated. If you are in the area this place is a must!!!! Next time I visit the Bay Area, I will definitely come back!!!

Sandee L.

Yelp
I admit, we came here after we saw the huge crowd waiting for another restaurant 2-3 doors down at 2:30pm. Here, you can choose between BBQing your own meats, or having them cook for you. We were in a time crunch and it was also hot, so no thanks to cooking ourselves and reeking of BBQ! Two of us ordered the LA kalbi, and my friend, nursing her hangover still wanted soup while it was a piping 85 degrees outside. I was really happy with my kalbi. Meaty and flavorful, it hit the spot with the rice. The three of us thought the meat dumplings and sliced rice cake soup was just ok. I'd def come again for the kalbi! Good service as well. If we needed anything, we just hit the service button on the wall and ta-da! someone showed up. Quickly too.

Lisa N.

Yelp
This place uses charcoal grill! The meat had great marbling and you can really taste the quality. My favorite was the short rib with sesame oil. Their banchan is also very tasty. The vinegar onions paired perfectly with the fattiness of the meat and the tofu salad was bomb. You can ask for as much rice as you want and a soup also came out on the side. The service was very friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend this place.

Grace K.

Yelp
Best Charcoal BBQ in town! If you are feeling overheated during the summer months, head over and order a cold buckwheat noodle soup and add some BBQ spareribs. It hits the spot. And as a Nengmyun expert, the flavors of this restaurant is on par with he best in Korea. The service is excellent as they will bring additional side dishes on request. Our family really enjoy their charcoal BBQ as many other restaurants only serve gas BBQ. Their seafood pancake is amazing as well.

Brenda Jiwon L.

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean BBQ place in South Bay. They use charcoal to grill their meat, and their meat quality is superb. I highly recommend getting their plan galbi. I also love their pork belly and the combo comes with seafood pancake as well as a small soup. I'm not a big veggies person when eating Korean bbq but they do provide salad and raw onions with a nice dressing to go along with your meat. They also have a bunch of other Korean dishes, and I love their gamja-tang and the yuk-hae which is the raw meat tartare. As for the interior, they have large clean tables, and I love how everything is super nice and clean. Definitely make reservations before coming in especially on the weekends since it can get pretty busy!

Ann L.

Yelp
Korean BBQ on a charcoal grill?!?! This is the place where they still use charcoal grills. The servers are nice some didn't speak English but that's ok with me they understood me and the food was awesome.

Ailyn B.

Yelp
Aside from the food being AMAZING, the staff are so nice and efficient. They served us quickly and created a great atmosphere to be with our friends. This place was recommended by a friend and we will definitely come back!

Renee S.

Yelp
The best korean BBQ in Santa Clara area. Meat deliciousness on a charcoal grill. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend this place. The sweet ice tea was so unique, I would stop by for one to go any day of the week. The beer on tap in a frosty cold glasses was refreshing. Thank you for everything Kevin!

D Z.

Yelp
The quality and atmosphere of this restaurant does not match the prices at all. Okay BBQ but incredibly expensive ($60 or $80 after tax for a few slices of Kalbi--enough to feed 1 person). Seafood pancake was doused in oil and barely had any pieces of seafood in it. Kimchi and other side dishes lacked flavor and depth. I recommend visiting 10 Butchers instead (short drive away, similar prices but worth it for the significantly higher quality of the food, better ambiance, and more attentive service).

Sarah L.

Yelp
This place is dank because of their charcoal bbq!!! Very rare to find a bbq spot w charcoal, especially in the bay. You can bbq in front of you (they cook and serve the meat) if you order a minimum of 2 meats. If not, they cook your meat in the back. Booo - definitely just order two plates of meat despite the price, it'll be worth it. Ordering two meats will also get you a stew. And let me tell you this doenjangjjigae was deliciousSS I was so amazed I recommend getting B1 (classic marinade) and B3 (No marinade) kalbi! Don't be fooled by the portions, fills you up just the right amount without being disgustingly full Aside from the $$$, another downside is that the banchan could be better. Salad dressing is unique and onions were good, but disappointed they didn't have lettuce bc of the lettuce shortage too Excited to come back and try their other soups and pork meat :3

Xuan Z.

Yelp
We were a party of two. My friend and I were craving Korean BBQ and found the wait time for a few other popular ones were over 1 hr. So we ended up coming here. But there was a reason why this restaurant did not have a line on a Saturday night in the Bay Area.... The price increase was crazy. The Such Bul KalBi dish we ordered was $55.99 before tax. This has increased 30% compared to 7 months ago. Maybe I'm late to this information. But I wish my salary inflated at the same rate. The service was poor. We waited a long time until someone came and took our orders. It seemed like they prioritized grilling for existing customers who had food on their tables instead of new customers. Not until we started ordering, they told us we had to order at least 2 items from the wood-fired section to be able to sit at the BBQ table. Wish we knew earlier. So we didn't get the BBQ experience (or any lettuce) yet was charged the exact same amount of money. The food was fine. I might be a bit hung up on the Such Bul KalBi. But some pieces were so hard to chew. I felt like I wasted 10 bucks bc of that... Flavor wise, I liked the Tteok-bokki and the soup. Will not visit again.

Vivian B.

Yelp
I tend to visit this restaurant for a quick lunch since they offer many choices on their menu. They also offer AYCE lunch bbq if you are feeling more hungry and wanted to grill many types of meats on their charcoal grills. The charcoal grill gives a smokier flavor to the meats which not a lot of restaurants have. I really enjoy the L7. KaiBi YukGye Jang comes with really big pieces of beef chunks and has some glass noodles in the soup also. The soup itself is very flavorful which a slight spicy kick to it. I would recommend trying this soup out and getting a bibimbap to pair with it! The service here is fairly fast as they have buttons at each table which you could use to call them. It is convenient since it gets their attention right away rather than trying to call them over. They are really friendly and willing to explain the menu. They also came several times without us calling to refill our side dishes which I really appreciate!

Yelp
The Korean Spring Barbecue is undoubtedly the most authentic KBBQ I've ever had in the Bay Area. Every bite of the meat is succulent and of high quality, and it pairs perfectly with the delicious side dishes to create a balanced meal. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, especially if you're new to Korean barbecue, and they are always happy to answer any questions you may have. They will even cook the meat to your liking. The lively atmosphere is ideal for a relaxed Friday night dinner with friends. Whenever I have visitors, I always make it a point to bring them here.

Yelp
Really good quality of meats with a huge variety. Our waitress was so nice and took awesome care in cooking the food. 10/10 would come back again

Yelp
Food was delicious. We had the pork belly and beef ribs, both were great, as was the seafood pancake. Service was also good, I appreciated how they helped cook our bbq and brought more banchan. However the price was too high for the amount of food we got.

Yelp
Got the raw beef bibimbap and it was fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back again to try their other dishes. Service was great too. They have a button you can press to notify the servers.

Yelp
The best Korean barbeque in the area hands down, no cap!! You really can't get a better wood-fired charcoal KBBQ in the Bay Area. First though, let's talk about the spread of banchans and sides. So freaking good! I absolutely loved the salad and onions. The salad is probably one of the best I've had at a KBBQ place--love the generous amount of tofu and the dressing. As for the meat, my boyfriend and I ordered two Kalbi orders and Bulgogi, along with Kimchi Jjigae and Doenjang Jjigae. Yes lots of food, but everything was much appreciated. The meat here is incredibly high quality, you can tell. And the charcoal grill really makes it hit different! The Kalbi practically melts in your mouth and is so flavorful and smokey. Highly recommend. I've also never had such high-quality Bulgogi before. It's thicker than most but isn't tough or chewy. I'm from LA Koreatown, and I can confidently say that this is one of the top KBBQ experiences I've ever had. The service was amazing as well. It was just the owner and his wife, and they were hustling! Both were super nice, and I was seriously in awe of how they keep the place running and cook everyone's meat for them. MVPs, seriously.

Yelp
Came here at 8:30 PM on Saturday (30 mins before closing) and they told us they we're too late for barbecue, and that we can only order from the non-barbecue menu. I was disappointed because that's the only reason we went, so ended up going to Tobang instead. Just wanted to warn folks so you don't make the same mistake!

Yelp
Great food and service - pricing seems high for a strip mall location. Otherwise all good.
