Koreana Grill

They have a pretty decent variety of meats and premium meats. They also offer side dishes, appetizers, fruits, salads, soups, and ice cream! The price is not bad either, I will go back soon since we were very happy with the quality of the food. The only bad part is that they ran out of gyoza early and they were some of my favorite. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area, even if you have to drive for a bit, it would be worth it.

Updated review: I love coming to this restaurant but I think this will be my last time due to the service. On 06/17/2024 6:50pm, a server had seated us at a REALLY dirty table for my family along with a baby. She offered us a dirty high chair as well with food all over the floor and high chair. We asked if she could at least get us a new one and clean it but she made it seem like it was our problem by saying “It’s ok it’s clean.” Then we firmly ask her again to clean it then she says “I’ll go wipe it down” with an attitude. I understand that the environment is very fast paced due to it being a buffet in here but the cleanliness should be main priority before seating someone. I had a high chair cover and come to find out the next day that my son was developing hands foot mouth disease on his body. You would probably tell me, why didn’t you wipe just in case with your own wipes. We didn’t have them on hand at the time hence why we had the high chair cover but it shouldn’t be my responsibility especially when we were served on purpose a dirty table by the server. It has been a full WEEK (as of 06/23/2024 that I am writing this) and symptoms are getting worse. I had not went anywhere else after the restaurant on that Monday and had plans on Tuesday but refrained due to the bumps he had on his body to not spread the virus. Please, if you insist on coming here with a child, please make sure you have them double clean the area in front of you before you are seated. I love the food here so much until this server ruined y experience

There are enough meat selections. There are also hot foods like fried rice, veggies tempura, pot stickers, and calamari. Calamari was good, not tough. There are many sauces options to go with the meats. Beef bulgogi or beef teriyaki, not sure which one, that was good. I like the pork belly, cooked to crispy. All the sides are good not the best, fish cake was salty. Service was good. We came on Tuesday so it was not too busy.

Great quality food, buffet style for most of the meats, they do have a separate sheet for some of the meats (shrimp, galbi, beef belly, 3-4 other items). You can only order 3 meats at a time from the separate sheet otherwise it’s pretty easy to grab whatever you want. When we went, staff were very busy (possibly understaffed?), yet they did a great job making sure our grills were changed and that we were able to get drinks/ our meat orders. Staff were very helpful and nice. Overall would definitely come back

Retro 90”s Korean BBQ style place Awesome service , clean and awesome price

Came here after a trade show for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The selection of sides was more than I expected. They were very tasty and plentiful. The selection of meat were present, beef chicken, pork and squid, all were very tasty. The staff was excellent. They were very attentive to our needs, they offered to refill out drinks and swap out our grill without having us ask to do so. I would love to visit again when I'm back in the area.

I recommend this place to anyone who is a kbbq enthusiast. The buffet style really allows you to gauge how much food you’d like and at what pace.

Pretty good service, quick food, and value for money. After having an appointment in the area, I looked for an ayce place. This fits the bill. During weekdays from 12-3:30... they offer buffet @23.99 .... all other times , it's 32.99 ... I was a single diner and was led to a booth. It's basically a buffet style thing... you're able to get whatever you want and cook it at the table.. They have cooked items and meat that you can grill.... They have all the basics for meat... beef brisket, pork collar, pork belly, bulgogi, spicy pork, teriyaki pork, teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken, tripe, and marinated calamari.... They also offer a couple of soup, plain rice, fried rice, dumpling, pumpkin tempura, squid tempura.... Banchans were a lot as well... radish kimchi, kimchi, tofu, seaweed, radish wraps, bean sprouts, salad, lettuce wrap, different sauces, Oranges and ice cream for dessert... They're pretty quick to refill the table so thats a good thing. In terms of ambiance, it seems like the place does its thing.... meaning it serves its purpose... the staff are quick and would change the grill for you if they see that it's almost burnt... they are quick to refill your drinks as well.... The staff are mostly Koreans as well. Sweet Ajumma and kind ahjussi.... Will definitely return for their lunch weekday buffet.., Meat quality was pretty good.., Bulgogi marinate wasn't too sweet I like the calamari... the tripe didn't hurt as well. :) the chadol had good marbling and pretty thin. Only thing is that you will smell afterwards so Protip: bring febreeze or an extra shirt.

I was looking for a decently priced Ayce KBBQ spot for lunch on the way back from Coachella and I am so glad found this gem. Immediately walking in, we were greeted by the host asking if we here for lunch special pricing and excitedly said yes and got seated right away (there was ample seating around 3pm Monday as expected, but I was surprised there were more people than I thought there would be at this time). Self service was amazing because we were starving and we quickly helped ourselves to all of the banchan, garnishes, sauces, and of course the meat, they had to offer. They had all the fixings (sesame bean sprouts, broccoli, potato salad, kimchi, radish kimchi, green salad, fish cake, japchae, rice paper, white rice, sesame oil, brisket sauce, spicy paste) which was already amaing because a lot of places usually are missing some of these that I really love and then there were some offerings I don't normally see water kimchi, green onion strips, lettuce leaves, jalapeno and ssamjang (last 3 usually only come with bossam) but love them so I'm so happy they had this. They also had some appetizers that I didn't care much for (pot stickers, tempura, fried rice) but still a nice add. They had a basic selection of meats (brisket, thin pork belly, pork jowl, bulgogi, and chicken) and the mouthfeel definitely varied on how long that batch was has been out, but overall the quality was always great - nice red color and marbling for the beef, not too much fat on the pork belly, good marinade on the bulgogi (not a chicken person at KBBQ so can't comment on that). All in all, I usually am looking for the whole experience with Korean bbq, so to have such good quality of meats, a wide selection of really flavorful side dishes and garnishes, soft serve, and a super friendly staff, really made this place stand out to me and I would love to come back and recommend this spot to whoever is in the area.

What a great Korean BBQ spot in the Middle of Corona! Nice all you can eat, buffet style menu. The meats are fresh and plentiful. Be cautious with the Korean Potato Salad.....it is addicting and will fill you up before you can enjoy the great meat variety. The prices were as expected with some premium f Items to order separately. We will definitely be coming back.

First timer here and everything was delicious. Buffet style for a good price. My kids enjoyed it and we all left really full.

The bathroom is disgusting and should have 2 stalls. When you have a line outside the women's bathroom and go in and find out the toilet is backed up. That is bad! The food is mediocre and not enough space in the booths. Service was OK. YOU REALLY NEED TO UPDATE THIS AYCE. ITS MAKING THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE LOOK BAD

Had to audible and find a last minute place to eat due to the protesting in the downtown Riversidearea. Just had a wonderful celebratory dinner here! Not my first time eating at Koreana Grill. There was a big line outside but the wait was reasonable, 10-15 minutes. Food came out quick and was fresh. The food bars were fresh and stocked. The servers were nice and cordial. Very solid place to take people to and have great time eating and drinking soju!

We are super loyal to another KBBQ but decided to try this place and I think it's my new favorite! The meat is really decent, it's not a huge selection but it's all the main favorites, and the flavors are outstanding. Best bulgolgi sauce I've ever had. What really impressed me was the sides and extras! You're not just eating meat all night, they have every side you could ever want! Even noodles and broth to make soup! All types of veggies and pineapple to grill, dumplings calamari rice all kinds of appetizers.. multiple sauces. Made it such a full exciting meal. I was in awe and can't wait to go back! Plus so friendly!!

It's a buffet style where you pick meats, banchan, fried appetizers and rice from the buffet. The grill is pretty small and they only have one grill per table. Our table was a group of five and we were hungry in between meats cooking because the table only has one small grill. After being sat at our table we didn't see our server until 1 hour into the meal. That was to change the grill. This place gets busy and a line forms outside so get here early or expect a wait. The bathrooms are single stalls as well.

Really unique Korean bbq experience! I've never been to one where it's buffet style but it's better like this so you can just grab what you need. The meats were good quality and all of the sides were fresh! Servers came around frequently to switch out grills and dishes and were so nice! Would definitely recommend this place

I have been going to Koreana Grill for years! They are a local favorite for my family and friends. The food and service is great for AYCE Korean BBQ.

Koreans Grill is my favorite Korean AYCE in Riverside County! I live in Temecula. There are about 3 AYCE KBBQs in the area, but I'd rather drive all the way to Riverside for lunch at KG. The quality and value are incredible! I also love the self-serve buffet set up, so you don't have to wait for your order to arrive. There's a huge variety of condiments, salad, kimchi, and marinated meats to choose from. Parking lot is not that big, so space is limited.

This place is good value for the price. It's not in the best plaza but it's worth the visit. There is usually a line during normal peak dinner hours. It's the kind of KBBQ where you can get up and get what you like at the buffet bar and their premium meats are controlled by using the paper menu system with your waiter. But they do bring out as much as you'd like. It's once price, not tiered pricing like other places. The place is not the cleanest and their bathrooms could use some work, however the food makes up for it. They also have warm prepared foods like fried rice, tempura veggies, and gyoza. They have soft serve machine with either chocolate, strawberry or sometimes mango syrup. Service and staff has been great each time. You can sign in with your phone number and wait in the car until they call you to come in. Free refills on soda. If it's your bday they play an overhead song for you.

Always my favorite AYCE Korean bbq location the food is always good. I never feel like I'm stressed with time as the service is always quick and the ambience is always nice sometimes it can be crowded but it's always the same service which is good.

So much better than GEN! This is my first time coming to Koreana grill I was recommended by my coworkers to come here and I have only tried Gen and one other kbbq spot. This place by far beats those two. Price was worth it , and the customer service was excellent!

Friendly service. Great staffs. Reasonable price. I like the self service vs. Placing order with the sever like other kbbq. Because you have to wait if your server is too slow.

Went on a Saturday around 3 pm and paid $30/person which I believe is the dinner price because it's the weekend. Also got a peach soju and a soju bomb (beer and og soju). One of the servers/hostess, Nancy, actually taught us how to make the soju bomb. She was so kind and friendly, and I'd definitely come back just to see her again. The whole place was clean and had a modern interior with booths galore. I love their buffet concept for the meats and sides since one of the biggest downfalls for kbbq is waiting on refills. Definitely one of my fav kbbq spots in Riverside for quality of meats and price!

I've been coming here for years, and even during COVID, I made it a point to visit. I dined outside, and they went above and beyond during such challenging times--it was clear how much effort they put in. They truly did an incredible job. Even now, everything remains top-notch. The service is consistently excellent, the food selection is fantastic, and the dishes are always delicious. Happy to say this place gets a solid 5 out of 5 from me!

This place is now in my top 5 Korean BBQ spots! Food: I absolutely love that it's a true all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. You get everything from salads, side dishes, and sauces to your choice of meats right at the salad bar. No need to constantly ask for more meat--you can just go up and get exactly what you want. 100% perfect. Service: The service is quick and efficient. The only time you might need a server is for a grill change or drink refills. Ambiance: The ambiance is great. While the seats could be a bit roomier, they were still comfortable enough to enjoy the meal. I'm sad I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but next time I visit, I'll definitely snap some. I highly recommend this place Thanks for the meal! I'll be back for more

This was my first Korean BBQ experience and it did not disappoint. Yes, there's usually a wait but for good reason. They're really the only local kbbq that does it buffet style, which I love because you hand pick your own sides and food. You can get as much of the sides as you like and that's a win. The service is great! We had our grill changed 2x without having to ask and they refilled our drinks 3xs. They're staff is friendly and take care of their guests.

Got greeted about 4 minutes after arriving, asked for table and got a large booth. Calamari is good, veggie tempura is good, burners on tables work okay not great. It is an okay place to eat, but at 23.00 all you can eat, I'll go elsewhere.

They don't have ample of parking. They don't have fancy decorations. They don't have a bar. They don't have plenty of staff coming to the table to ask how are you doing. They simply have great food. Great meat. Great side dishes. Their galbi (Korean BBQ ribs) are excellent. Their side dishes are so tasty that I eat more than the meat I eat. Service is adequate even with the limited amount of staff they have. I have eaten at all KBBQ in the area and adjacent. Koreana tops it.

Love this Korean bbq place, we come in at least once a month and the service is always great. I love the self serve option and not having to wait for someone to bring items to your table.Highly recommend

A bit pricey and meats are not premium. They are low end. Side dishes are not that good. I'd rather go to wang Cho it's better if you are in this area.

5/5. my newest and FAVORITE Korean bbq. When I tell you the service/ambiance is absolutely exceptional, we came in on a Sunday and there was a mild 30 min wait.. when we seen all the people standing outdoor we had to find out what the hype was about. OMG. 11/10. The Buffett is insane i had 3 servings of the DELICIOUS fried rice, the sauces, meats, everything was just so delicious. Whatever you do please try their homemade raspberry tea, i had at least 3 cups it was like literal .. well you know what, without saying it. ADDICTING. I throw my 10s only where they're deserved and this place is IT. keep doin your thang Koreana, the staff is absolutely wonderful. A woman helped us(unfortunately I didn't get her name) but she guided us through everything and was extremely patient. Thank you thank you thank you, i will be returning with my whole family!

I love how you're given the ability to get your own sides and meat. There's also an option to request for meats that aren't self-serve through a check off list that's picked up by the server. The quality of everything is fresh. The restaurant gives off the usual Korean bbq ambiance. Customer service was attentive enough to take your dirty plates so that it doesn't stack up and they come often to check if a grill change is needed. The best part was the magical soft serve. The creamy vanilla flavor is so simple but left such a huge impression. I'd come back again, no doubt!

Me and my family love to eat here, food is very fresh and so many options to choose from, service is very friendly, only complaint is the place is Smokey from poor ventilation, you can see the grease all over everything. Maybe the vents need a good cleaning.

Me and my partner love this place! We love going for their great lunch special. Today we went for dinner for the first time and were not disappointed. Staff managed to fit us in so quick even on a busy Saturday night! They kept food stocked up! And the service was great, they kept cleaning up dirty plates and checking up on us. I was so pleased with tonight's experience! The meat and sides are so good here. Thank you to the friendly and hardworking staff for always giving us a good experience.

Minimal wait even though the place seemed very busy. Very modern layout and atmosphere. A DIY style of Korean BBQ. The staff will set you up at a table, give you a rundown of the rules and you are on your own lol. It's up to you to go to a meat bar or the other bar that has veggies, soups, and other non-meat items. You grab up everything you want to cook and return to your table to start your feast. There is also a small side menu for "the good stuff" like shrimp or scallops, so be sure to order those early, before you get full. I personally loved the kimchi here, it has a nice crisp bite to it with a little bit of heat which I like. The staff can get a bit busy so we had to wave them down from time to time to refill drinks and ask for tableware. Likely to return though, had a great experience here.

I love Koreana. It was introduced to me by my partner and it truly is the best experience for KBBQ. There's no need to wait on service even when it's busy, because when you're done, you just get up and grab your ingredients/sides yourself from the buffet-style bars! The noise level is about the same as every other KBBQ spot. You almost always have to wait outside in line to be seated for at least 30mins, but the wait is worth it!!! You won't be waiting around much once you're in and seated, so the trade-off is amazing. The people who work there are also pretty nice. And there's a self-serve ice cream machine with some syrups for when you're ready for dessert!!!!!

Just moved to Riverside and have been exploring new spots! This was an interesting experience, it has a buffet-style setup. The meat quality was decent, though some cuts were on the sweeter side. I really enjoyed the spicy tofu soup! The staff is very kind, and the overall vibe feels like a mix between a restaurant and a cafeteria.

Located accross the street from the Tyler mall this kbbq place gets packed pretty quickly and the parking is really small so that's going to be a challenge to find a parking spot. The wait wasn't too bad when I went and I got seated in a timely matter. What I like about this AYCE Kbbq is that once you are seated and they bring you your utensils and menu for the premium meats, you are able to go to different areas where you can choose the different type of meat that they have. They also have plenty of sides you can choose from. Not waiting for the server to bring you food is nice in a way as you can grab what ever you want and how ever much you want without having to wait for the waiter to bring you your meat. Everything tasted amazing and I love their beef bulgogi and their beef galbi.

I found this location a few years ago. It's a buffet style restaurant. Cook the food yourself which we wanted. A lot of food to select from. It's always busy but worth the wait. I think I waited around 30 minutes at most. Service is always great even when we go with larger parties. I would give this location 10 stars if I could.

Initially a really great kbbq spot. My boyfriend and I have been going here for 2 years now as our go to spot and have brought friends, parents, cousins and coworkers. We LOVE Koreana. Today we went for the AYCE dinner service at 4 and actually the meat quality today was probably the best it has ever been. The reduction on my rating is due to one particular server that kept getting caught by our cousin making dirty looks at our table. She kept trying to rush us when we weren't even being served by her. We were being served by one of the sweetest OG workers, the one that wears the head scarf. But this lady we have never seen before and she was super rude. Our time there now has been around 1 hour 10 minutes and she comes over and tries to turn off our flame telling us, "this is the last one, so im turning off your fire, yea?" And we all looked at her in shock as we were obviously all still cooking. As an all you can eat place, we were surprised by the rushing attitude we were given and after that felt uncomfortable to eat more. All the other times we have been, we usually are quick and just fill up and leave as soon as we are fulfilled of our KBBQ craving, but the one time we decide to stick around and spend some time with family, we are given shitty attitude from this lady that we have never even seen before in our 15+ visits in the past. Get her attitude in check, and the next time we are there she better not be giving dirty looks... IT WAS A WEDNESDAY TOO, NOT EVEN BUSY OR NEAR HALF FULL, Whats? The? Rush?

I was driving back from yaamava and since this casino did not give me my 400$ food comp I was starved. Driving back home my husband and I decided to eat Korean bbq. We stopped by Gen bbq and saw that it was closed until 3! What ridiculousness is that???? Lol We googled another place. Found Koreana. We saw that it was 22.99 for lunch. We thought that was pretty good! So we drove there. It's located in a small plaza. The restaurant is decent. They have a buffet style set up. You grab your own meat. There's spicy octopus, spicy chicken and pork. Then on the other side of that buffet line is the pork belly, brisket, beef bulgogi. The other buffet lines has sauce and many sides! Also jap Chae at the end of another buffet line. The jap chae is one of tge best ive had. On another buffet line they have soondobu soup and miso. Right next to that is their soft serve ice cream machine. This buffet is very decent! My favorite is the pork belly! Really nicely cut and decent quality. The flavors of all the meat was awesome. I especially love their red spicy dipping sauce. I loved everything they had there except for the fried squid. The gyoza was good and fried rice, was just fried rice. I loved this place so much, I brought my kids to eat the very next day!!! If you want to eat affordable excellent food, this is the place!

Food was very well marinated and the service was great. Everyone was helpful since it was our first time doing self serve. They have lots of veggies which I loved the kimchi. They also have an ice cream machine. For it to be in riverside and the price is VERY reasonable.

This is our go to Korean bbq spot Are there newer nicer looking venues for Korean bbq in the area? Absolutely There are 2 spots in Temecula, one in Riverside and one rancho Cucamonga But here's where things differ Nicer places do not equal better tastier food Those places are also on average 10 to 25 dollars more expensive per person And again we go back to flavor And none of them come close to matching the flavor profile of the meats the kimchi the spicy cucumbers the Korean potato salad or any other item. Koeana is that spot as when you leave You are full from good quality food and your wallet isn't feeling as heavy as you are I dare anyone out there to find a better tasting Korean bbq spot that won't break your wallet 31 dollars per adult 15 dollars for kids Unbeatable
