Yelp
Vegan junk food. Great for vegans/vegetarians who miss the joys of comfort food. Vegan burgers are commonplace nowadays but you can't always find stuff like veg wings or mozzarella sticks or fried shrimp. I took my vegan friend here. She lives in a different country and does not have access to this sort of food so she was stoked.
Full disclosure: nowhere near vegan at the moment however I do appreciate vegan food every once in a while. Not going to compare it to the real thing or anything.
Their menu has a lot to choose from: burgers, sandwiches, wings, chicken tenders, tacos, nachos, fried shrimp, and more. Let's not forget pastries and milkshakes.
I thought the food was pretty tasty overall. My buffalo drumsticks were yummy. Same with the fried shrimp although I will say that I was disappointed with the French fries -- they weren't as crispy as you'd expect nor were they adequately seasoned. They could improve the fries, for sure. I think my favorite item was the deluxe chicken sandwich that I shared with my friend. It was on point. The crispy chicken was perfectly balanced with the other ingredients, including the delicious buttered bun. Finally, their milkshakes are delicious. I had the Cookie Monster and it was excellent.
The vibe was hip and casual. They have a cute patio but we sat inside. They had a DJ on the patio and the music was turned up inside. Honestly, I felt it was a bit too loud and was somewhat distracting to my conversation.
I can't avoid mentioning the prices... it's pretty expensive. I bought 4 drumsticks, 8 pieces of shrimp on a basket of fries ($15 for that alone), a Jarritos, and 2 milkshakes (one for me and one for my friend). It was about $50 total.
They are located in the heart of Montrose but they do have their own parking lot with a few spaces. It's a small lot right in the front but I had no issue grabbing a spot on an early Sunday afternoon.
