"Kova Patisserie is selling a cake bundle called Matcha Party. If you’re asking yourself what a party is, don’t worry, we can’t remember either. Anyway, this Japanese patisserie in South Kensington is now dropping off tea and cake bundles that involve vanilla mille crepes, matcha tarts, strawberry shortcake, and their signature bubble teas. If you’re feeling wild there’s also a surprise cake bundle for £24 where they’ll pick your flavours for you." - heidi lauth beasley
"Most of the general public would argue that the Natural History Museum should take the top spot for South Kensington’s most iconic landmark. We’re going to go out on a limb and say that it’s actually Kova’s matcha whole mille crêpes. Both are stunning feats of architecture, but this Japanese cafe’s signature mille crêpe has layers the dinosaurs simply can’t compete with. If matcha isn’t your thing, rest assured that everything from the sea salt cheese lava cake to the soufflé cheesecake here is also a winner." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna
"Strawberry Sando Kova is one of those pretty little patisserie spots that serves food so aesthetically pleasing that you won’t even feel embarrassed about saying ‘so aesthetically pleasing’ whilst standing in front of the mille crepes. A big portion of the menu here is dedicated to matcha, baked treats, and bubble teas, but we opted for the strawberry sando for a reunion picnic in the park. This was arguably the best decision we’ve made since deciding to spend our savings on a Dyson rather than limited edition Pokemon cards. The hokkaido bread is unbelievably fluffy and milky, but those XXL strawberries with cream erased every sad memory of mediocre afternoon tea from our brains. An experience we’re coining ‘eternal sunshine of the spotless sando’. The best part is this creamy creation is available for same-day delivery across most of London." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

"Arrival time: same-day delivery in London during shop opening hours Kova Patisserie, a Japanese patisserie with locations in Soho, South Ken, Chinatown, and Battersea, is renowned for its vanilla mille crêpes, matcha tarts, strawberry shortcake, and signature bubble teas. All of which you can get delivered to your home. Although prices can be steep for the whole mille crêpes cakes, you can also opt for individual slices or the more affordable sea salt cheese lava cake. Birthday cake toppers are available too.
