Food: Really flavorful dishes. I got the ramen with brisket, and we shared the fried chicken and dumplings as appetizers. The broth in the ramen was different from any broth I've had. It had a very meaty flavor, and it took a few bites to really enjoy it. By the end I was wishing I had more! Service: There's no waiter that takes your order, everything is online. You scan a QR code that takes you to their website, and you order there. They make it easy to add everyone in your party to a group on the website so that you can order all together instead of separate. I've never seen anything like this in the US, but I guess it's fairly common in Japan? Kinda fun. Atmosphere: The place is stunning, especially at night. The warm, dim lighting made it feel modern, sleek, and cozy. The simple decor all looked amazing.

Truly exceptional. Koyote is the best ramen I’ve ever had, including places throughout SLC, along the West Coast, and internationally but not in Japan. Now, there were a few reviews here that remarked“it’s alright, but I’ve had better in Japan!” Well, no shit! We’re in Salt Lake and judging by the local food scene, I’d say this dethrones my previous personal favorite, Tosh’s Ramen. The ordering process is pretty straightforward and for how busy it was, the food came out pretty quickly and was really well paced, as we ordered three apps — all were brought out in back-to-back fashion, before receiving our meals shortly thereafter. The fried chicken with the Japanese mayo was super crispy and not greasy. Some of the best wings I’ve had, full stop. Gyoza was savory, and the chips were ultra-crunchy and thin, garnished with a delectable seasoning that was quite unique. Then came the ramen. We both ordered the Classic, I got an extra bit of brisket on the side and boy oh boy — was that a treat! Melted in my mouth, was so succulent that I didn’t even have to cut it, the meat just fell apart with my chopsticks. Broth is very unique, incredibly savory as it’s a blend of chicken and pork stock, I believe. Think of it as the ultimate comfort food garnished with a marinated egg, veggies and tender pork belly. I will be back and will likely try the brisket dish they have next time! Their brisket would make a Texan jealous. Oh and their tap beer was a perfect pairing with the ramen!

Absolutely love this spot. A bit hidden on the west side next to the tracks but what an amazing place to grab some ramen. The big win for me is the gluten free ramen, which is hard to come by!! There are also vegan/vegetarian options. Good variety of non-ramen food too — the mabo tofu is another go to for me, chip salad was a pleasant surprise, and their drink options are phenomenal. Can’t go wrong with a lemon Chu Hi, a rare find in SLC!! We have been multiple times, can’t get enough.

You can also choose to keep your tab open or close depending on if you want more food or drinks. I absolutely love their tsukemen and highly recommend it. This is not your typical ramen that most people know of, and allows for you to dip each bite of noodles into a sauce to keep things from getting too soggy too fast. Their broth and ramen noodles were on point !! Also, don’t skip on the whipped tofu. Sounds weird, I know, but it’s SO good. Also do yourself a favor and get the melon cream soda. You wont regret it. The restaurant was well kept and the pricing was very reasonable. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for ramen!

The chicken wings were the star of the show! Really good! Classic Ramen was good. A bit pork heavy. We’re spoiled because we’ve had good Ramen in Japan. This one does not taste authentic. But it’s passable. The purin was super good! Mabo tofu and Shioyaki Saba did not taste good. Skip!

Great little hidden ramen spot! Loved the atmosphere immediately. Much of the seating is at a communal bar - I’d call it cozy but not cramped. The signature/original ramen was great, added some chili crisp bc slc doesn’t know what spice is lol. Ube icecream ‘sandwich’ was awesome, one of my fav desserts I’ve had in a while. Plus, front of house people were nice (shoutout my guy Grant) 🙌 I’ll be back. Only comment for improvement: didn’t like the plastic water cups.

Overall pretty good, seating could use some improvement as you have to be 7 foot tall to reach. As for the ramen its like a solid 3.6 out of 5, presentation is nice though.

Fusion Japanese inspired Gen Z restaurant! This restaurant is more fusion than Japanese, 100% Gen Z! You order and pay off the QR code (tired of QR codes now) minimal interaction with servers. If you want to add an item they refer you to add it yourself to your online bill but they can add items. Food is just ok, too fusion focused. There are too many flavours going on the Shishido peppers. The Ramen taste like it’s beef broth. The brisket was good! The TanTan mein tasted off and was just ok. The grilled Mackerel was good. The menu show an entire Mackerel but they only serve you half a fish. The homemade chips were good but I would not pay for it. The house pickles were not good. The decor was simple and clean. I was confused if I should tip as much as a regular dine in restaurant. Everything is through the QR code online billing. Will not come back I prefer more authentic cuisines.

I visited Koyote with a group of ten. We really appreciated ordering at the table. You set up a group order and then each person puts in the dishes they want. You can do separate checks at the end or split it like you want. I had the brown butter miso ramen, and added wontons and baby bok choy. This dish was delicious but did need a little heat so I got some chili oil to add. Everyone at the table also enjoyed what they ordered. I can't wait to come back and try something else. Service was great and even though it's a newer place it has the feel of an old familiar restaurant. I did notice the menu online is different than the menu you scan at the table, which makes it a little hard to preview all the dishes ahead of time.

This place was delicious everything was tasteful from the appetizers, Ramen, and Saki. Con for here though is plan on waiting a long time for a table. We were told 30 min and waited an hour. Once we were sat they rushed us because they closed at 9 instead of respecting our time in return!. I'm not a fan of restaurants that do this especially when they take so long to seat you.

Always my go to place for yummy ramen! Place is cozy but often I just order for take out. Service for such a place is always good. Good quality and portion - definitely value for money. As said I am coming back! So what they can be it is a 5 but in comparison with other restaurants and experiences it's a very good 4 star.

I've been here twice now and gotten the tonkatsu tsukemen both times and loved it. I like a bit of spice, so when ordering with the QR code I always make sure to request a side of spice. Highly recommend doing the same and topping it on your noodles! Service is attentive, friendly, and helpful. As mentioned, you order using the QR code on the table and should expect to get your food within 10-15 minutes. Ambiance is clean, modern, and cozy. We went on a summer evening and were a bit surprised of how hot it was inside. We would've appreciated a tiny bit more air conditioning haha.

Went to Koyote last night with my husband and sister-in-law after hearing about it forever and wow, totally worth the hype! We all got different ramen (black tea salmon, Tantanmen, and I had the Tsubasa) and every bowl was amazing. We sat at the bar, service was great! Super tasty, cozy vibes, and definitely my new go-to ramen spot in SLC. Can't wait to go back!

Food was amazing. Fresh and large portions. The beef was super tender, broth had great flavor, and noodles were perfectly done. A host seats you but you order and pay online. Not a lot of interaction with the servers. Food was prepared quickly though and came out hot. Casual modern interior. Quiet restaurant.

Come for the ramen, come back for the apps Ordering and payment is done through QR code which is so quick and efficient. The ramen is fine - definitely a step up from many places in SLC but the apps are where it's at. Whipped Tofu - INCREDIBLE!!! Think hummus, but smoother and creamier. And the chili crunch they use on top is so good. And it comes with scallion pancakes!! (Or bread for brunch) Kaisen Don - yummmmm, I love fish over rice and this did not disappoint. They also have great vegan options for any plant based eaters out there!

Fun to venture up to the Capitol/Hill Marmalade district to try the very buzzy Koyote. We pulled up just before it opened for dinner and there were already multiple parties waiting for the doors to open. Once inside, we admired the wood paneling, cozy booths, bright pops of color, and sprinkles of western decor. When the weather warms up, there is a spacious patio for alfresco dining. What we ordered: Whipped Tofu - Who knew I just needed whipped tofu in my life - with house-made chili crisps and plant-based mapo chili (that made me actually question if I ordered meat) plus scallion pancakes to dip and wipe the bowl clean. I'll be thinking of this dish for a long time. Hot Sake - This is a popular vending machine sake in Japan that I hadn't tried before. Sometimes hot sake on a cold Utah night just hits the spot. American Shoyu Ramen - Classic clear chicken and pork stock with straight egg noodles, smoked brisket, a soft-boiled egg, and bamboo shoots. Vegetarian Tatanmen Ramen - I wasn't aware that Koyote offered so many plant-based vegetarian options and hot dang, plant-based meats have come a long way! This sesame broth was so rich and spicy and creamy I definitely thought there was meat involved in its process. Instead of ground pork it was topped with plant-based mapo chili. Paired with the wavy Sapporo style noodles (vegan!), I was one happy customer. Perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg, green onions, scallions, and baby bok choy rounded out the dish. I did feel the entire plate was a bit overly salted but that is my only note. There is a lot of attention paid to diverse offerings - gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian are all clearly labeled and easy to customize. And a $7 kid ramen is a nice nod to the family-friendliness this city is known for. Service is - quirky. Friendly host seated us, then instructed us to scan the QR code and order from the Toast-operated online menu. Not my favorite type of restaurant interaction, but efficient. Drinks and food were brought out in a nicely-paced manner and they did check on us a couple of times, but there wasn't a lot more face-to-face time than that. I can understand that for a lunch stop, but as Koyote bills itself as a more upscale date-night destination, I'd appreciate a more service-oriented approach. All that said, I've got no complaints about more authentic Japanese establishments popping up in SLC. I will tell everyone about the whipped tofu and can't wait to return to try their other fares.

I noticed this restaurant existed a few weeks ago when I was doing my daily walks. So I finally made time to dine here last week with my friend and I'm so happy we did. Also, it's only less than a 5 min walk, so it's def another reason for me to come back again. Parking can be found in the residential streets. There are ample. There are seating outdoor and indoor. We sat indoor across from the bar since the outdoor was full. The place is cute, spacious, clean, and slightly dimmed. We sat at the booth, which fit perfectly. It was quite packed that day and luckily they were able to squeeze us in without any reservations. You order from the QR code and then submit the order when you're ready. The staffs will bring out the food and drinks for you. We ordered the popular whipped tofu, salmon bowl, and gyozas. All were good, but our fav was the whipped tofu. Surprisingly, we were really full given the fact they are appetizers. Also, we ordered the horchata cocktail and it was surprisingly good, too. I'm not a big fan of horchata, but it had the right balance. I'm definitely coming back to try their ramen and order the whipped tofu again. Hoping next time to dine outdoors.

The Tsukemen is very good and the price is pretty standard for a ramen place. I highly recommend this place.

Loved the concept of being able to order whenever you are ready and paying when you're ready, especially with how busy and packed this restaurant gets. Very friendly staff that is always enthusiastic to help answer questions. Food was incredible! The only downside was trying to find street parking as this business does not have a parking lot, but this won't keep us away.

The whipped tofu was great, just like everyone says. We also had gyoza, karaage wings, and extra scallion pancakes, all of which were solid choices. Rice on Rice was a fun cocktail, and the Koyote beer was a solid house brew. The ramen itself was just okay. We tried variations of classic and brown butter, and while the broth was seasoned, it wasn't the kind you want to drink down after your noodles. The noodles were fine, but the meat wasn't a favorite. The egg, however, was excellent--perfectly marinated and definitely the highlight of the bowl. Service was a little chaotic, with all of our orders having some mix-up, even the ones with no modifications. Ordering is done through a QR code to the Toast app, where everyone can add to one bill, which was a little confusing at first. They have WiFi, but I didn't ask for the password since the staff was busy running around. The restaurant was packed, giving it a lively atmosphere, though it did make service feel a little rushed. I wanted to try dessert but was way too full. I'd come back for the appetizers and maybe give the vegetarian ramen a shot since I've heard good things, but I won't set my expectations too high.

Great food! Fun ambience! Service was great too :) My friend and I sat at the counter that faced the kitchen. It was fun to see the cooks doing their thing. The ordering and payment method was new to me - you open a tab on your phone and order and pay through their system. It cuts down on wait time to have your order taken or for the bill to come. The food was really delicious and I plan on going back :)

Overall a solid ramen spot and great ambiance! Staff is super friendly and the service was top notch. I got the butter miso ramen and added the brisket to try both of their protein options. I respect the fusion idea but bbq brisket just doesn't go well with ramen in my personal opinion. I'd skip on that next time. The butter miso broth is very good, super rich and has great depth of flavor! I tried my friend's shoyu style broth and that was also pretty good. I prefer the butter miso broth out of the two. The noodles were great, good amount of thickness and perfect chew. The chashu and egg had good flavor. The only cons were the toppings being cold and the broth was not hot enough (probably partly from the cold toppings). Especially on a cold night post snowboarding, I was really looking forward to the hot broth!

This ramen spot is such a good find. It is definitely a neighborhood gem. Once seated, you order online and the food is brought to your table. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered plant-based gyoza, Shioyaki Saba, the Mabo tofu, the whipped tofu and the classic ramen. The gyoza was super tasty and you won't miss the meat. The Shioyaki Saba, the mackerel was cooked so well. I could eat that every day and be happy. The whipped tofu was so creamy. I would never have guessed that it was tofu. The Mabo tofu was also very good. Finally the ramen was warm and very filling. Everything was great. I highly recommend this place.

Koyote is hands-down one of the most exciting additions to Salt Lake's food scene. Yes, it's on the pricier side - but the quality, creativity, and overall experience make it absolutely worth it. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance: modern and stylish, but still warm and inviting. It's got that "special night out" feel without being overly formal - a vibe that's both relaxed and refined. The standout for me? The whipped tofu. I wasn't expecting to be blown away by something so simple, but it was smooth, silky, and rich, perfectly balanced with layers of texture and umami that made it feel indulgent yet light. The Brown Butter Miso Ramen was next level. Decadent and deeply flavorful, the broth is luxurious without being heavy-rich and savory with a deep, nutty finish from the brown butter. Easily one of the best bowls of ramen l've had in Salt Lake. The Chashu-Don deserves serious love too. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a perfect char, laid over a bowl of rice that soaked up all that flavor like a dream. It's comfort food, elevated. If you're looking for a place that delivers on quality and isn't afraid to push culinary boundaries, Koyote is it. Just know you're paying for that level of craft - and in my opinion, it's money well spent.

So I may not be the top expert in ramen dishes or have a ton of experience...but for what it's worth, I've been here twice and I say that it's the best ramen that I have ever had. On top of that, the appetizers and drinks are interesting enough that dinner turns into a fun extravaganza on your tastebuds. With exquisite flavor combinations and soju to wash it all down, your experience at Koyote will be nothing less than delectable. Get there before the crowd does as it gets busy quick!

I've been following Koyote for a long, long time on Instagram, salivating over the pics of their ramen, and I figured it was time to give them a shot when Tan France from Queer Eye posted about their food. Don't need to tell me twice, Tan! We came on a Saturday night around 5:45 and it was popping! We had a group of five so our projected wait time was around 30 - 45 minutes. No big deal -- happy to wait for yummy food. We were added to the waitlist but about 15 minutes later, we received a text message that we had been removed. In a panicked state, we called about this and were promptly added back, but we couldn't track our wait status anymore, so we were told we'd be given a phone call when a table to accommodate our size was ready. As our wait time crept closer to 1 hour, we checked back in and were told that the folks at the two large tables were done eating and were just hanging around. Shortly after that call, one of the tables left and we were seated. I love that you order straight from your table and manage your tab without referring to a dedicated waiter/waitress. Felt very much like some of the shops my partner and I have eaten at in Japan. We ordered the pork gyoza, whipped tofu with extra scallion pancakes (a must order!), one dipping ramen, a butter ramen, and a classic ramen. We were impressed with how tasty the food was, but our ramen bowls did take quite a bit to come out after the two appetizers. The food was so good that our 8 month old kept demanding more of everything we were eating. She especially loved the marinated egg and scallion pancakes. I docked a star because of how loud the restaurant was, and it wasn't just the conversation level from other tables but the music's volume. It felt like we had to shout a bit across the table to talk to one another. Other than that, this is now one of my top five fave restaurants IN SLC.

The food, vibes and service were all amazing! We got the curry, American Ramen and a matcha latte and it was all delicious. The curry was so flavorful and it felt like being transported back to Japan. The ramen had the perfect bite and the brisket was perfectly cooked. The matcha was so creamy and sweet that even my partner liked it (he normally says matcha tastes like grass!) The interior is beautiful and all our waiters were friendly and went above and beyond to help out. Overall, amazing spot, I can't wait to come back!

I think I enjoyed the experience of this place more than the food. I haven't visited a restaurant where the only role the host plays is to hand you the food. Once seated, you just use your phone to scan the barcode and order from there. It opens a tab that you can keep adding to until you're done. My coworker and I sat along the long bar that faces the kitchen which is full of appliances that I couldn't tell were decorative or actually used for food prep. I just had the classic ramen omitting chashu following the menu's suggestion to add wontons. They don't offer a tonkotsu broth here, just the shoyu based one. Never been a huge fan of clear broths unless you start talking kitakata or saimin to me. It's a tad too salty and I feel awful leaving someone's hard work sitting in the bottom of the bowl waiting to be poured down the sink. The rest of the ingredients were pretty high quality. Noodles were al dente and perfectly good. I also enjoyed the marinated egg and the way they fancied up the green onions. :) The wonton were tiny and not particularly flavorful. Better to go with more noodles. That, if I end up returning here. If you work the airport and stay at a hotel, this place is a little out of the way. I'd probably try a different place if we get the opportunity. The big plus of this place is that it's great for solo eaters because you just sit down, order, eat, pay online and go.

Koyote has been one of my favorite spots since it opened in 2023. Today, I tried their brunch for the first time! My party shared the Fruit Sando, White Miso Carbonara, and the Miso Benedict, which comes with a brown butter mid hollandaise. They were all wonderful dishes! The Benedict especially blew me away, especially with its unique hollandaise which was distinctly more savory than normal hollandaise. The Benedict consisted of the eggs and hollandaise on top of two pieces of toast -- which sandwiched meat in the middle. This made every bite have a great flavor! The White Miso Carbonara was really tasty, something for fans of savory food for lunch. The greens and mushrooms fit perfectly with the dish, the pancetta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was delicious! I will definitely be back to get this again while it's still on the menu. The Fruit Sando was a fun and light way to end the meal, providing some sweetness on the way out! I love how soft their milk toast is, and the fruit was fresh and delicious. Overall, the service of Koyote has always been excellent. I'm a big fan of paying a tab through Toast as it keeps everything moving quickly. The shop itself is very well decorated! I love its mixture of desert and Japanese vibes. Koyote is truly a blessing to have here in Salt Lake!

My boyfriend and I really loved the ramen here!! Everything was so flavorful. We came at around 7:30pm on a Monday and it was surprisingly very busy and we couldn't get a table until around 8. The food was really good, though, and made the wait worth it. The prices are reasonable and the service was efficient. The vibes were quite good and we will be back!

Koyote Ramen filled my Ramen void 100%. I have been craving a delicious spicy flavorful Ramen for sometime since visiting Japan- and this was more than I had hoped for! I'm officially addicted to the vegan Ramen... Just because of how delicious the broth really is. The service was also really great! And the ambience of the restaurant is really cool. I love the different seating options. Go check this place out ASAP - yum!!!

I finally made it to Koyote to see what all the hype was about, and boy oh boy, did they deliver. It's located in a bit of an inconspicuous area, so parking is sparse, but once you're inside it's flying colors. The interior is modern yet cozy and has nice ambient lighting. We ordered some apps, including the plant based gyoza a which was surprisingly delicious and I wasn't even aware it was plant based until after devouring it - and the whipped tofu. This whipped tofu dish was unlike anything I've tried before, prepared with confit garlic and chili and served with heavenly scallion pancakes. The dish was extremely creamy and if you hadn't told me it was made with tofu, I wouldn't have guessed it. I ordered the tantan-men ramen but substituted for thick noodles, and it came out looking so scrumptious that the table next to us asked what I ordered. The spice level was perfectly manageable as well! This intimate Japanese restaurant certainly caught my attention and I'll be returning for more!

When you enter the restaurant, you are seated and directed to order by scanning a QR code. It is connected to the table you are seated at. You also enter your payment information online as well. So basically, you only interact with staff if they are bringing food/drink to your table. Because of this concept, I don't really understand the difference between dining in or ordering take out. It also makes it hard to ask for more water, alert a server if something is incorrect, or share other small things a server could easily take care of. Seeing employees stand around made me wonder why this system is in place. Overall, the interior is nicely decorated, and the food was delicious, though some items are a little expensive ($2.50 for chili crisp, $3 for an egg?). The ramen was flavorful (leaning towards the saltier side) and filling. Get here early if you have your eye on something specific on the menu, as I noticed more than 3 dishes were unavailable to order at 7pm.

Came here for lunch at a fellow Yelpers recommendation. The space looks clean and more modern; the menu has a lot of options to choose from. Their ramen bowls (we got a classic and a brisket, with some added toppings) were okay. Gyoza wasn't really good (prob won't reorder). So the best tasting item on our table was the sapa. Overall, the food was okay but since there are so many yummy sounding items on the menu, I'd be curious to come back and try them out.

The food is amazing. It is pricey but I feel that the service was just mediocre. I sat at the bar with my friend and honestly tipping on this was complicated because you order online. And then you pay online all the server does is bring the food and that was usually a food runner The ambiance is young and fun but there is not a ton of seating so you could wait a long while before being seated since they don't do reservations or a waitlist online. Id go back because the food was so good but I don't think this would be a regular spot

This place is extremely authentic & it even better than some LA spots I've tried! We came here visiting from LA, California and were craving a tasty ramen to help warm up from the cold weather. This spot was a HUGE HIT! So happy we found this spot. The atmosphere seemed authentic with kind & attentive service. Now for the food: Tantan-men 9/10: amazing tasting ramen! You are able to order your order & pay right after! The broth was scrumptious & just the right around of flavoring, I wish it had more spiciness! This was a vegetarian popular broth. They also have Gluten- FREE & vegan options Fish 10/10: very fishy very yummy. Great flavor & cooked to perfection! The lemon on the side was absolutely needed for added deliciousness!! Overall an amazing place!! Must visit & try for great authentic ramen.

This ramen was really delicious! The broth was flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the egg was perfectly medium boiled. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Japan with the decor, staff and spot on food. Some of the best ramen I've had!

We loved the this ramen spot! Also not pictured, vegan ramen, tonkotsu ramen, gyoza and pickled veggies. The menu was great for vegans and non. Our party of 6 was seated quickly and the server did a good job explaining the order system- you order individually at the table from your phone. The food was excellent, the service was great, there were tables both inside and out- overall great experience. Will definitely be back to try more!

Not too crazy about the order system being non-personal. You have to use a QR code and order from your phone and close your tab the same way. So don't have anyone to tip, right? Mine wasn't working so they had someone take my order in person which was nice. I also didn't like that you can't request a spice level on almost any of their ramens. That's a first for me and I have been to many ramen spots. The tan-tan men was good, a bit too creamy for a ramen, more like a pasta dish, and way too spicy. I also found the mabo tofu too spicy.

Ambiance is what makes this place. Service was super quick and easy since you order in an open tab online. We had the whipped tofu which is a must when you come here. The gyoza is average. the ramen is good for the area!

The place was loud when we walked in--so loud it was tough to hear the host explain how to order. Turns out, it's all done through an app. That's fine in theory, but there's no cell service inside, and I didn't see a Wi-Fi password posted anywhere. You only find it buried in the app after some digging. The menu is digital-only and, in my opinion, a bit limited. A few common ramen options I usually see were missing. Once we figured it out and got our food, it was decent. Not bad, not great--just okay. Nothing about the experience really compels me to come back. It's fine if you're in the area and know what you're getting into, but I won't be rushing back.

This Rose Park/Marmalade ramen restaurant offers delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. The ramen itself is delicious, broth full of flavor. Other food items on the menu do not disappoint either - I highly recommend the wings and unique snack of lotus chips. It does get very busy, and can get crowded, so be prepared to wait. However, the service is always fast.

Food, service, beverages all were 5 stars. Beautiful decor as well! Would most definitely go back

Very nice restaurant ambiance. You ordered through the QR code. The foods were good, a little on the salty side. The service was good, friendly. The ice ramen was kind of weird for us but glad we tried.

PROS: - Ordering process is so simple. We ordered on our phones and paid through the phone. I loved this concept. The restaurant is well designed - WHIPPED MISO. Order this. I had no idea what to expect but this was by far the most interesting and delicious bite we has during our meal. It was spicy, creamy, soft, and rich. Truly amazing - Shioyaki saba mackrell was amazing also. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. - they had a Caesar salad with fish that was a great salad also - simple beer selection but great tasting beers nonetheless CONS: -tantan men ramen was very boring. The broth was not spicy. I thought the noodles were chewy. Despite the fact that I didn't love the ramen I order, the appetizers more than made up for it and I would come back and try a different ramen and update this review. Overall a great restaurant and addition to the SLC food scene.

This Japanese restaurant is so good. I came here at night which the area looks a little bit sketchy and dark, but the food is good. I did like their ramen, and the smoked brisket was something new, and it was good. Great customer service and clean.

I've been dying to try this place since it opened and finally was able to check it out last night. It's in a cute hidden little residential area on the west side and is so cute and chic inside. You start at tab at your table with the QR code, and we just ordered whenever we were ready. We loved this because we ended up ordering a bunch of apps to share and it was perfect. The staff was super friendly and the food and drinks came out super quickly after we had ordered. We got here right at opening time (5pm) on a Thursday and it wasn't too busy. Warning: your eyes will likely be bigger than your stomach, like ours. We ended up stuffing our faces with apps, and I was so pleasantly surprised at how many vegan options they had! Whipped tofu: A must try for anyone, vegan or not vegan. It has the consistency of a hummus and was packed with flavor. Get the extra scallion pancakes if you're sharing! Mabo tofu: Delicious with a hint of spice and tons of flavor, it was silken tofu with some plant based crumbles and comes with a side of rice Plant based gyoza: YUM, crispy and crunchy and so yummy We were full off of these items alone and didn't even get to try their desserts or their ramen. Can't wait to come back. They were setting up their patio seating when we were there, and the patio space looks lovely!

Koyote is a cute little spot tucked away in a neighborhood. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in LA or San Francisco. They have a fun twist on ordering. The service is hustling and friendly. The Ramon servings were huge. I easily have enough leftovers for 2 more meals. We also had gyoza which were so delicious. We can't wait to go back and take our 7 year old.

This was a really cool place to check out. It's tucked away in a little neighborhood and the inside is very cute. Once you sit down, you scan a QR code and you're able to order and check out all online which is really nice and convenient. You don't have to track down someone when you want something else which is nice. The whipped tofu with scallion pancakes were amazing and I would absolutely come back for that. The plant based gyoza was also amazing. When I went to the restroom, I was able to see all the apps everyone ordered and honestly they all looked divine. I got the ramen with plant based meat and it was okay. The broth was nice and rich but it definitely was missing something. Overall food was good and even though you order online, someone was checking on us often enough. Would definitely recommend!

The restaurant was nice and modern. The food was really good. We had the potstickers, American shoyu (with the wavy noodles) and the ube dessert. The potstickers were really tasty with a good sauce, but only came with 4. For $7 there should be at least 6. The ramen was delicious! I like salty broth and this did not disappoint! The dessert was good as well. One thing I didn't love was that you ordered through an app at the table. We left ours open so we could order dessert later. If you do this, your other order disappears from the app. We went to pay and could only access the bill for the dessert. We had to get help from staff, which didn't speak much English so it was hard to communicate the issue. They kept water coming and they were very nice. I would definitely go back and try more items!

First time going here and will for sure be coming back! the inside is super cute and I love the vibe of the entire restaurant! You scan a QR code that has the menu and you pay online which i lover because after you eat you can just leave! Service was great! our food and drinks came out in a timely manner and the food is amazing!!! Whether it's a wonderful summer night or a cold winter night, i highly recommend coming here to eat!

Food is A+! Service is outstanding although be aware they get super busy so sometimes wait times are long. Parking can be tough (because they are busy!). Ambience is great. This place is awesome

Found this Gem by accident and I do mean GEM! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by what I think is the owner but not 100% sure. He seated me explained the menu, asked me if I had ever been there before and gave me some recommendations! Great environment, between up scale and chill & stellar customer service! The staff was friendly and attentive, I went with one of the recommendations, the American brisket shoyuo (think I spelled that right) lol. It was the best ramen I've had in a lllooonnnggg time! I also got some rice and tried the Ube ice cream sandwich for dessert, everything was really good and my experience from start to finish was great. When I come back to visit the area I will definitely be stopping in again! Thanks coyote shout out to the cooks!

Pretty good food with great ambiance. Loved everything about the way it looked and the service was great. Just didn't think the flavors were amazing. The brisket rice bowl is worth getting and so is the whipped miso and the chips. Salad was very very not good, mapo tofu was OK but i wouldn't get it again. My friends got the ramen and really liked it though!
