"Since KPot took over the former K&W Cafeteria building (old Charlotteans still remember), it’s hard to imagine what else could have been a better fit. Charlotte’s first KPot is lively and smoky — perfect for those with a hankering for Korean hot pot and barbecue ($29 for either, $35 for both). Tableside ordering is easy via a tablet, and protein and veggie availability is always changing. A sauce bar offers popular favorites like sa cha, Sriracha, and hot chili oils, along with hot and cold bars offering spring rolls, chicken tenders, kimchi, seaweed salad, and fruits.  The restaurant also rotates specialty cocktails and drinks. Counter seating at a bar occupies an entire wall length of the building, and TVs play nothing but KPop." - Shindy Chen

"KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in the Northeast is one of those modern Korean BBQ spots—endless sake lists, a neon-lit bar, and a digital grill with as many buttons as a graphing calculator. The chain restaurant, located near the Franklin Mills Mall, has large booths and long rectangular tables where you can fit your entire Happy Hour crew or every grill dad in training in your friend group. The menu is massive and wide-ranging—it has everything from smoked garlic pork belly and spicy baby octopus to seasoned pumpkins and oyster mushrooms. Bring your friends for a last-minute meal and you’ll be in for your life's only rewarding group project." - Candis R. McLean

The setup is clean, welcoming, and great for a fun group meal. Service was friendly and efficient. The banchan (Korean side dishes) were a nice touch. As someone with an Indian palate, I found the flavors a bit mild—especially in the broth and marinades. I was hoping for more boldness and spice. Still, it’s a solid spot for Korean BBQ. I’d definitely return and hope to see more flavorful options in the future.

This was our first visit to KPot. What a fun dining experience! It's definitely a full-sensory experience where you cook your own food at the table. Order as much as you like—it's unlimited. But don't take more than you can eat, or face the wasted food surcharge. We enjoyed the spicy chicken, beef, and pork bulgogi. The spicy octopus was tasty as well. Go with an empty stomach and fill up! A little expensive, but you're paying for experience.

This place is so nice. Basically my only complaint is that they DON’T have takeout, so order wisely, because they don’t have an option for you to take leftovers home, and things are pretty expensive. Still so good! I recommend the mushroom soup base for hotpot, very flavorful. There’s also an open bar where you can make sauces, and has things like seaweed salad, soy sauce, garlic, and kimchi! Final warning, make sure not to order too much!!

My mom and I recently checked out this cool place called KPOT right here in Charlotte. It's all the buzz and let me tell you, it's DELICIOUS! 😍 Price was a steal; $20.99 for all you can eat at lunch hours. Mind blown🤯 But let's not call it a buffet - that'd be simply doing it a disservice. They've got this unique way of serving food; you get to choose a soup base (8 options 😋) and select as many proteins as you want (pork belly, brisket, lamb - you name it!). Oh and don't even get me started on the veggies! Here's the kicker - you get to cook it all yourself. So new and so exciting! And our server, I totally can't remember their name, but they were rockin' a sweet, sparkling bow tie and were absolutely top-notch! I didn't resist and went back to take some pics, redeem some tokens (they've got these adorable machines giving out Pokémon and Asian figurines in exchange. So cute!), and of course, write this review. 👍 I'm definitely poppin' in there again and if you're even contemplating a visit - DO IT! Trust me, it's worth it! 😄👌

Google
What a unique place in totally not what I was expecting. When you hear the word barbecue you kind of think of shredded southern barbecue. But you choose your own pot of broth that they bring out that boils in front of you and you have your own skillet type grill in front of you where you can cook your meats. They bring you a tablet for you to choose all of the food that you want to cook. This place has one set price and you can eat all you wish They just do not offer any boxes to go for leftovers.

YUM! YUM! YUM! My husbands first ever trip to a hot pot aka melting pot. Great quality ingredients. Mike was very helpful in explaining how the process works and how to order the items that you will cook at your table. It's definitely more than dinner it's an experience. Give yourself plenty of time to learn before you go so you'll have the best idea of the flow. This is a great place to do that.

Took our American friends there Saturday. They had such a good time. They loved the food and sang a few songs. Our server Bianca did an awesome job serving 11 of us. Our friends already asked for coming back soon.

The place is sparkling clean, the atmosphere is amazing. We were not sure about cooking ourselves but we tried it with friends and it’s amazing ! Such a fun and cool experience, we did order both the hot pot and main menu, the mushroom soup broth was soooo good, we tried everything , so delicious! We had nothing left and ate everything, we kept ordering and our frying zone was changed 3 times. The service was great, meat and seafood were delicious and extremely fresh and tasted very good. We enjoyed everything, my personal fave were spicy beef and garlic shrimps and the mushroom soup. The margarita flight was extremely good as well! We enjoyed everything! The reservations are not accepted here, you have to walk in and all group must be present at the time of entering the facility. We definitely will be back!

Yelp
Went to the kpot near the university area for my bday and it was great. Our server Kha was super friendly and explained everything perfectly. Ordering was pretty chaotic, but he would check in on us every few minutes to make sure we were good. Overall great experience and I would recommend the server Kha.

Yelp
This Christmas, despite navigating the world on crutches, I was determined to keep our family tradition alive by dining at an Asian restaurant. We ended up at K-Pot, a Korean-BBQ restaurant that recently opened. From the moment I hobbled in, the experience was nothing short of satisfying. The ambiance was cozy and there was enough space to put my leg up if needed. Our waitress, a sweet young lady with a knack for making kids happy, was the cherry on top of our dining experience. She won over my nephew with an assortment of flavored lemonades, each sip better than the last. Despite the crutches and the holiday hustle, K-Pot made our Christmas meal a joyous occasion. We'll surely return whenever we're in the mood for more Korean BBQ.

Yelp
Finally got to try K-Pot in Pineville, and it did not disappoint! This spot is perfect if you love Korean BBQ and hot pot because you get the best of both worlds. The variety of meats, seafood, and fresh veggies was impressive, and everything was well-seasoned and high quality. I especially loved how interactive the experience is grilling at the table while also enjoying a flavorful hot pot made for such a fun meal. The sauces and sides were a great complement, and the service was friendly and attentive, keeping everything stocked and making sure we had what we needed. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, great for groups or a fun date night. Just come hungry because the portions and all-you-can-eat options are no joke! Can't wait to come back and try more.

Yelp
Standard fare. Service is fast. Buffet is a nice perk. Quality of ingredients is above average. Banchan can use a refresh. Seating is plentiful but limited to 6-8 if you're looking for bbq. Check splitting isn't frowned upon. Taking food home is...

Melissa D.

Yelp
What fun! We do a lot of Korean bbq and this was a fun experience! The server helps guide you but you do your ordering via the provided tablet, menu preloaded and food is delivered. That's not to say the server isn't present, ours was and she was such a delight! She helped make the experience that much better! The food was oh so good, I filled up way before my husband was finished so I took a breather and then ate some more! We came during lunch and each ordered our own hot pots. We also enjoyed quite an assortment from the vast menu options, too many to list! Go hungry and be ready to eat! If I lived closer this would be a frequent spot for us!

Yelp
I want to state right away that the only reason for the 3 stars is because when my boyfriend and I went the AC was broken and it was absolutely miserable. And I understand things happen but someone working there told us it had been broken for 2 weeks. That's wild to me lol. It would have been nice to get a little warning at the door about the ac issue. Otherwise..... We LOVED our meal here! We did the option that included the Kpot and the bbq option and was all-you-can-eat. The kpot of course made dinner even hotter lol. But I'd been wanting to try them for so long and it was our date night so we said let's just go for it! We had a great server who gave us the rundown and checked on us often. We ordered a bunch of sides and meats and it was really fun to cook it all in front of us. The kpot was so so good and flavorful. The food on the bbq cooked really quickly and would stick to it real bad, but we learned to keep moving the food to try and avoid that. I honestly really prefered the kpot more anyway. I also ordered the thai tea and soju and really enjoyed that. I would 100% like to return some day when the ac issue is fixed. We had a really great date night and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the dining experience aside from the high temperature inside.

Yelp
First time coming to KPOT, i had an amazing time. Service was absolutely off the charts, food came out insanely fast, I didn't have anything else to eat today specifically because i knew how good this experience was going to be. Mindy was a literal star, she answered every question with complete ease and didn't hesitate to grab anything out of our way if needed. I genuinely had a great birthday here and might come back just on my own due to how amazing it was. To the blue hair front counter lady, I'll miss you, i hope you enjoy the cake.

Yelp
WARNING - Long... K Pot - 74 in Matthews We had a tremendous experience at Kpot. First time any of of us had ever gone. I want to give a shout out to JC who was our server? He was phenomenal. Very patient, he explained and walked us through the entire process. The place is huge. It is very clean. It is very well organized. The staff? Great! Quality of meats/seafood - STELLAR, fresh. Our server, JC, was very patient and did all the ordering for us this first time. It's all you can eat, during the week I believe it's approximately around $20 on the weekday and approximately $30 on the weekend. If you do KPot OR Korean BBQ. If you do both it's apx $35.99 weekend. Trust me - WAY TOO MUCH FOOD! Go twice, try the barbecue one weekend and the KPot (soup) another time. Too much in one sitting. You can order vegetables on the side, which come on a platter. You can order noodles for the K Pot. And you can either add veggies/meat to the K pot to boil in your soup? Or roast them on the table grill to eat with your meat. It is all you can eat. However be cautious? If you order too much meat/food upfront, you could end up with raw meat or maybe cooked products that are left over they end up getting thrown out OR you pay $15 a pound if you choose to bring it home. I suggest you go one time, try the soup or Kpot. NOT both - go back a second time and try the BBQ. They have an amazing bar that has so many different seasonings and kimchi. The best french fries you will eat anywhere. I'm going to tell you that right now. They are battered and fried - I hate potatoes - LOVED FRIES!!They have spring rolls which are OK and chicken nuggets, which is probably really good for kids. If you do the ribeye? Ask for more than one - up front IF you are ordering for 'the table' - for example if there's 3 of you? Ask for 3 ribeyes if all of you want 1. If you do the shrimp, ask them to take the heads off! I believe it states same on menu, but who wants to eat shrimp with heads on? Just saying lol! The very thin meats? make sure the grill in the middle of the table? Is on low. The reason being? If it's on high, the meat will stick even with the oil spray. Because it's so thin? It kind of shreds so you will have to know how to navigate the temperature of that grill, which is on the outside of the table. Go high to sear your shrimp, ribeye, other thick meat like pork belly and short rib. You will want to go low for the thin, sliced meats and salmon so you can flip them in one piece. If you do the seafood, you can ask for tabs of butter and use that instead of oil spray. The salmon, shrimp were excellent. VERY fresh! Everything was so fresh, was so good! Be prepared to cook your own food and know how to operate the grill so it's not on high the entire time. You server will come around and switch out the grill which is a great thing because using the butter for the seafood? It did tend to blacken a bit! We did do barbecue and kpot but way tooooo much food! It was very good, but go slow so you don't waste food - order two or three items for BBQ, then go from there so you don't waste food. They definitely walk you thru the process but I caution yet again? You don't want to have leftover food at the end unless you want to pay to bring it home. I feed the homeless so it killed me to see so much leftover food? Which is why I paid the $15 a pound to bring it home. Now that we know? Going forward when we go back, we will definitely order the minimum because again? There's no limit! SHORT REVIEW: Absolutely recommend this location 200%! Again, be prepared to cook your own food. Learn how to turn the grill from high to low depending on the food that you're cooking. Make sure you only order a couple of things at a time so you can eat what you order and don't have leftovers that will get thrown out or you will have to pay to bring home. Can't wait to go back and bring Friends with me! I had a blast! Every product we sampled? As you can tell from the pictures, we definitely ate a lot? Fresh fresh fresh meats, and seafood - such a treat! If you do the Kpot (which is the soup) vs BBQ - I did the mushroom broth and I loved it! I did it with udon noodles and ordered sides of broccoli, different types of mushrooms, onions, spinach. You put it in the K pot - it boils at a high temperature that you control on the table. It was so good so yes I did pay my $15 to bring it home lol! But again reminder? Do either the K-Pot or BBQ - do NOT do both because it's just too much food and you don't want to have to pay more than the $30 on the weekend and the $20 on the weekday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Yelp
We went here for dinner. This place is nice they do everything g digitally so you order your food in an iPad and someone brings it out n you can order as much as you want. They have a variety of meats, vegetables and sauces

Imani D.

Yelp
My 1st Korean bbq experience, so good! Out waiter was delightful! You get to order as much as you want pretty much, just have to wait a few minutes in between. The beef short ribs were so good! Def recommend!

Daniel W.

Yelp
KPOT is a solid option for Korean barbecue and hot pot in Charlotte! The hanger steak and marinated short ribs are my go-to favorites--always fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is lively, making it a great spot for group outings or casual dinners. I also appreciate how much the ventilation has improved since they first opened, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It's exciting to see Charlotte continue to diversify its food scene, and KPOT is definitely a welcome addition. If you're craving KBBQ or hot pot, this spot is worth a visit!

Yelp
Service is good and food is yummy! Decently priced for what it is, the drinks are strong but a lil pricey

Rose E.

Yelp
I revisited this place with my husband this time on a weekend night...arrived at 5 pm, and yet, there was already a waitlist! While we were waiting at the bar to get seated, I tried this Seoul Cocktail...and it was tasty and STRONG! I wasn't impressed with the presentation of this drink though. It was 12 bucks, but delivered in a basic beer glass! After waiting in the bar area for 30 minutes, we finally got seated. BTW, I noticed that their overhead music wasn't that loud this time (folks must have complained?). Just as before, the place was lit with blue lighting...definitely packed with a clubby vibe. We ordered a ton of items...and this time, I didn't bother creating a soup base at the buffet station (I still find that way too busy)...but I did grab a few sauces. I won't go into too much detail since this is my second time...but I did observe a few new things. Even with the KBBQ AND KPOT combo, there still weren't the traditional Korean sides, like the Steamed Eggs, Tteokbokki, etc.etc. However, I did notice some of their unique strengths. They had a variety of seafood options (not available in most KBBQ joints)...and a ton of fruits and veggie options (Pineapple, Bok Choy, Mushrooms, you name it!!) as well. So all in all, I felt they made up for some weaknesses. I still thought the strongest choice was the Spicy Bulgogi...followed by Spicy Fish (surprisingly)! However, I didn't like their Short Ribs at all...they weren't even cut, but served with a bone-in steak-like format. I wasn't a fan of their Steak either. We actually forgot to order the Beef Brisket, which were good...if I remember correctly. I loved trying the Tempura...KBBQ-style! Truly, there's so many options on the menu, it would take several visits to try them all. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the meal. Again, I thought the pricing was very generous. Even with the KBBQ-KPOT combo, it was only like 35 bucks each...SO much food (AYCE)! Surprisingly, my husband liked this more than any other KBBQ that he tried in Charlotte...probably because of the veggie options. So there were a few misses (overpriced cocktail, bad short ribs, no traditional appetizers-sides, etc.etc.), but the positives definitely outweighed the bad. All in all, we left fully satisfied! This place is simply a mecca of food options...value packed at that...thus, the long wait list. If you plan on coming here, prepare to wait....or come during off hours (they're open throughout the day).

Kel G.

Yelp
KPot offers AYCE hot pot and or KBBQ off the lunch or dinner menu. If you want to do one or the other it's $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner. If you want to do both it's an additional $5 (for lunch I think, can't remember). This is the first "dedicated" hot pot location in the Charlotte area that I've heard of; before then I've only eaten hot pot at home or at Doan's (which they no longer offer). You select from three broth options then select from a tablet-menu the proteins and veggies you want. Caveat is that their broth has one spice level, not accommodating for customers who can't eat spicy. The broth is brought to you in a pot and heated at the table in a small stove eye. The proteins on the lunch menu is limited, if you want more variety you would have to wait until dinner. Some comments on the protein - the clams are itty bitty and the mussels weren't properly cleaned. KPot is different from other hot pot places I've been to or heard about; other places offer a self serve open bar to select your proteins and veggies and different broth spice levels. One plus side was our server was very nice to help mellow out the spiciness for me (as I can totally see other servers giving me a hard time or up-charging). Order: Thai tom yum broth, mussels, clams, quail eggs, pho noodles, ramen noodle, bokchoy, water crest, Napa cabbage, shrimp, lobster balls, swai fish, imitation crab stick, brisket, enoki mushroom, and squid. Overall the experience was okay. Probably won't go back for the hot pot until they offer different spice levels. May return to try the KBBQ.

Rebecca D.

Yelp
I was SHOCKED to find such a gem in the Charlotte area! Everything about this KPOT was so amazing from food to the ambiance and attention to detail. I went with hot pot and chose the tom yum soup base which I highly recommend to those who can handle spice! Our server was Kerrigan who was kind and attentive and made sure we had an amazing experience.

Josh M.

Yelp
Love the place that is a new finally Charlotte or Pineville has gotten Korean spots. That'll let you cook in front of yourself. Atmosphere does remind me of the ones in Atlanta, but not huge as atl.

Mary Y.

Yelp
The food was food good, and it was an interesting experience. Olaf was a great server. He helped us understand the process and place our orders. Walked us through how the hot pots and grill worked. It is a nicely decorated larger space with roomy tables and the bathroom was clean as well. It would make a fun date night as well.

Carolyn L.

Yelp
First time here. And of course I was completely overwhelmed. But I like the hot pot and Korean BBQ. I understand that they are short staffs. So we didn't get everything we wanted. Such as rice. Our water wasn't filled. Then a couple of items didn't even make it. But I enjoyed the hot pot, even though it was soo hot outside. I can't tell you how much I like it.: I'll definitely be back.

Emizz Z.

Yelp
First KPot chain just opened up in Charlotte! Food: great selection but meat is okay quality, can't complain for $30, extra $5 with kbbq. Heads up, the hot pot has tons of sodium so expect to be drinking gallons of water after or a bloat if you're sensitive like me Service: workers better get paid well at this establishment because of all the multitasking they have to do. And whenever there is a birthday, basically the full crew comes to serenade the birthday table Ambience: fast past, in and out is ideal. Good for small groups but expect long wait during high times

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Upon walking let them know it was my first time visiting. The couple in front were promptly seated. The three girls at the hostess station took a minute to figure out where to seat me and no explanation of how the restaurant works. When taken to the table stopped and took a look at the condiment bar and went to the ladies room. Taking a look at the menu kept going back and forth about hot pot options or bbq. Did I want one or both? A new server was introduced and tried to answer questions then drink order (water). When coming back with water had a couple more questions and the training server stepped in to answer questions. I was then informed my time had already started. Wait, what? I hadn't even ordered yet and been there for fifteen minutes. When asking about this asked to speak to a manager. He would arrive and decided to take a seat across from me. We spoke for a couple of minutes again letting him know it was my first visit. I was informed that " the time starts the minute you walk through the door". This was not explained upon walking in. He went on to say "this was standard procedure in this kind of restaurant". He decided he would do me a favor since they weren't busy yet and start my time when I ordered. I chose not to stay not liking the attitude and lack of interest. I had just driven an hour to get here and left hungry and disappointed. Thankfully found a place around the corner that was awesome.

Siran T.

Yelp
Finally opened in Charlotte! Went there with friends for dinner on the first day of grand opening. $29.99 for bbq or hot pot, or $34.99 for both. We got the bbq and hotpot combo. The menu selection was great and I'm happy with the vegetarian options as well. There are enough soup base options for the hot pot as well, and the fact that each of us has our own hot pot gave the freedom to choose each one's favorite soup base. There is a self serve area for side dishes and sauce for bbq/hot pot. Fruit was fresh. Things I wish to improve - the udon came frozen, made it impossible for me to share with my friend. The last few rounds of orders were served significantly slow (our server was very proactive helping us chase the order, but still). No reservation - the restaurant does have enough space (so far), but it would be nice if reservations are allowed, especially for big parties.

Alexandra S.

Yelp
So, we finally tried it. After hearing about KPot and being upset that the one closest to us isn't open yet, we took the plunge and traveled to this one. First of all, if you've read my other reviews, you'll know that I love Iron Dish. KPot blows Iron Dish out of the water. You get hotpot and/or Korean barbecue, your choice of one or both. Getting both is still cheaper than Iron Dish. KPot has a digital menu in the form of an iPad that sits on the table and allows you to order your various ingredients in whatever amounts you want. There's no limit on how many things you can order at once and you don't have to wait on the waitstaff to come back and check on you and see if you need more food, which would slow you down for the two hour limit these places have. Despite this, our waitress was extremely attentive. I got a flavored lemonade and she continued to come by and offer to refill it, as well as changing out our grill top and assisting my boyfriend when his hotpot was getting a bit too hot. But that's not all! There's also a buffet area where you can get seaweed salad, spring rolls, and other such appetizers included with your meal. It was great! I left feeling full, but not disgustingly over full, and I feel like I got to enjoy a nice variety of foods, which is great for your microbiome. We will definitely be back! Especially when the closer location finally opens.

jessica s.

Yelp
My first time trying hot pot and it was delicious !!! We got both the BBQ & the hot pot. It was only $5 extra to include both options. The sauce bar in the middle was awesome and the cucumber salad was sooo good. All of the meat options were good with the spicy beef bulgolgi being my personal favorite. The food was too good causing the phone to not eat first.

Joan R.

Yelp
Went here with friends. This is a first-time experience for us. We had a great waitress who explained how to order and cook food at our table. We were told we could order as much as we wanted and have 2 hours to eat. Any wasted food we didn't consume we would be charged per pound. The food selection was the K pot meals and the BBQ. We could order from both menus but $5 would be extra for the BBQ. Some of the meats such as prime rib or lamb were sliced paper thin, as were the soft tofu, all cooked in less than a minute and were not satisfying. The steak and short ribs were a decent size and fairly tender. Vegetables took the longest time to cook and I suggest to cook them first before one cooks thicker foods. I tried the mushroom soup and didn't like it. But my dining mate ordered the spicey Thai Tom yum soup and liked it. The chicken bulgoki just ok. Overall some items we ordered were satisfying ,others not so much. There was a sauce bar which also had French fries and small fried chicken tenders, all average tasting. There are vegetarian and vegan choices for soups, vegetables and noodles. Plenty of Beef, chicken, seafood , soy and pork items to choose from. Although the restaurant is clean the loud pounding repetitive background instrumental music was not conductive for a relaxing meal. We were glad we experienced this type of dining but decided once was enough for us. It can be a bit overwhelming when raw items placed on a small table area are waiting to be cooked. I suggest get a few items, cook and eat and order more as you wish Our meal per person for both hot pot and BBQ, was $35 .

Jessica G.

Yelp
great service and p good meat quality! oddly enough my favorite thing was the chicken nuggets

Christina H.

Yelp
Love the Thai Hot Pot! Everything is soo quick and organized and it's all you can eat! Be prepared to take a bath afterwards though because you'll smell like the yummy delicious broth!

Stephanie W.

Yelp
This was such a fun dinner experience! We loved our food and the bar of extras was nice! I wish the sauce bar gave proportions for the sauces. The seaweed salad was tasty! Our favorites for the BBQ were the hanger steak, beef bulgogi, spicy salmon and shrimp. None of us liked the chicken. The grilled pineapple was nice too! We were disappointed that we kept ordering sweet potato and never got it. Our server was so great and helpful! He did a perfect job explaining things and making suggestions! Overall, a fun place to do dinner! My only complaint is that the music was insanely loud and made it difficult to talk and even hear the server.

Samantha T.

Yelp
I want to give KPot 5 stars, truly. The only thing holding me back is the servers. My husband and I have been here 2-4 times a month since the location opened. The service started at 3 out of 5 and has rapidly declined since. The only job for the servers here is to initially explain how the restaurant works, then just keep your drinks filled and grills turned over and hot(you literallt order your own food on a tablet). The kitchen does their job, the food runners do their jobs, the bussers and sauce bar attendants do their jobs, all with aplomb and efficiency. However, the service here is terrible. Drinks are always empty, grills are left to burn, smoking and black. I've never seen a manager on the floor. Despite this, the food is so excellent and tasty (once you know what you're doing as a customer). Honestly, the food is so delicious we keep coming back, regardless. My recommendation, do your research on how to eat kbbq and hot pot, and expect exactly nothing from your servers.

Yelp
This place has good food and good service for the most part. It's mostly a self-serve restaurant and the staff are there to help the process go along. Don't be surprised if you order something and it's either late to the table or it doesn't show up at all. This was my first time here and I was really excited but when my group went to prepare the grill we noticed that there was a piece of metal still on the grill that could've gotten in our food. The atmosphere was overwhelming. They have the music playing really loud throughout the restaurant. The floors were also very slippery throughout the restaurant. The staff was cleaning the floor during business hours, which could definitely cause an accident in such a high traffic place.

Yelp
Food was delicious and fresh. The service was good and the ambiance was great. The only only negative critique I have is that you come out smelling like smoke. It will penetrate every fiber of your body and clothes: they need a better ventilation system.

Yelp
Was really looking forward to trying this place out, but unfortunately it just didn't live up to all the hype. Service was average at best as she just seemed to be going through the motions with little to no enthusiasm at all, even though we let her know we were first timers. Food portions were fine and time between drop offs wasn't bad, but communication was lacking as things were just plopped on the table with no explanation as to what was what. Also, sauce and appetizer bar was underwhelming to say the least, and the overall experience was just kinda eh. Glad we had the opportunity to try it out, but not somewhere we would go out of our way to try again, as the concept is solid, but the execution leaves much to be desired.

Yelp
The food was amazing!!! Service was great!! The ambiance is so chill. It's very clean. Do not overeat. They will charge you for leftovers. I recommend doing the grill and hotpot. It's a great experience. I had an amazing time w my family !!!

Yelp
Went here today for lunch on their soft opening. The place is big and clean. We were seated and greet instantly. The server was very attentive and nice. We did the lunch hot pot. You could also do their Kbbq or both for extra. The food took a bit to come out to start with but once we got going the service was quick. Been to other kpots all over the country and the food is similar. Very good selection of meats and seafood and veggies. Definitely the best hot pot in Charlotte and for a decent price. Would definitely recommend everybody go give them a try. Come early as this place will surely get packed once the words get out.

Yelp
[Grade: A] [Worth it ($)?: 9/10 - Quick service and great quality] I enjoy hotpot and korean bbq, so of course I had to try this new spot in Pineville. I came with my family for lunch and we were promptly seated as they a lot of space (a lot bigger than most kbbq spots in Charlotte). We decided to opt for the lunch ($19.99) and to do both kbbq/hotpot (+$5.00). (EDIT: Came back another time, and it looks like they're trying out a new system where you use a tablet to order! Definitely helps make it a lot easier to put it your order without it having to wait. It helped make sure there was little down time between ordering and eating.) They have a good number of choices for hotpot (everyone gets their own choice of soup rather than one big hotpot), but my family's favourites were the miso and tomyum. All the hotpot meats were good quality and all the veggies came out super fresh. Definitely a big selection that makes it worth the $20 if you just wanted hotpot. For the KBBQ, we tried all the lunch beef items and they were all good quality for AYCE kbbq. Nothing too crazy tho but definitely worth the price. Personally the sauces are what usually help the meat shine and I love that you can make your own sauces here. (EDIT: Tried the DINNER menu for KBBQ! The meats are super juicy if you cook em right, but they come in small portions so I'd recommend getting 2x at once. The hotpot stuff is pretty much the same on dinner so if you only come for hotpot, I'd just recommend lunch time) Overall, we enjoyed coming to Kpot and we definitely want to come back for more. The service was also quick and attentive (didn't have to wait more than maybe 5 minutes for food to start arriving). This place is definitely worth the value for what they offer compared to a lot of places around town. Hopefully they can maintain the quality of the food past their opening and not lose the variety in their menu that makes this place stand out from the rest in Charlotte.

Yelp
I went to celebrate my birthday. Food was great! Service was ok. Time limit to spend at a table was confusing.

Yelp
My fiancé and I love Korean bbq. We also love hot pot. We were so exciting to try a marriage of the two! For starters, it's very neat inside! As far as the food, it did not disappoint. While it's missing some of the side dishes we are used to being able to order at either a Korean bbq or hot pot spot, it was understandable as they have so many meats and veggies between the two cooking styles. They had been open less than a week when we visited. They were out of a ton of the alcohol choices. We had to choose 4 or 5 before finding one they actually had. Hopefully they'll sort this out as they're open longer, as it seemed they've been slammed from the start. Our server kind about the situation and expressed his apologies even though it wasn't his fault. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back. Both the Korean bbq and the hot pot were very delicious. We loved the options for each and tried so many! I didn't get as many pictures as usual because I was trying to enjoy the experience and quality time. The only thing that disappointed me was the Thai tea I got at the end. It wasn't very good as it tasted a bit watered down.

Yelp
Food is absolutely great but the service experience from your female servers is so damn horrible. Came here multiple times and I got some male servers, they were fine. The last 2 I got were female servers, both got that nasty attitude. Y'all gotta train your damn female again to be a decent servers. Jeez One star since I couldn't even taste my food with the attitude.

Yelp
Meat was VERY tender and seasoned well. Service was outstanding. Everything was easy to access. Dipping sauses were plentiful. Enjoyed the experience greatly.

Yelp
Huge bar for happy hour fun. The wait to be seated was very short. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a large variety of meats and vegetables to choose from. Servers checked in very often. The bar was fully loaded with delicious food options, sauces and soups. The restaurant is kid friendly. I would highly recommend trying this spot for your next Korean bbq experience

Yelp
Food was amazing. Large selection of food. Sauce bar has a ton of choices. Service was very good. We will be back soon.

Yelp
KPot was a very fun dining experience! We did the option with both Korean BBQ and the Hot Pot. Both were delicious! They bring your soup of choice first (beware of how hot it gets) which you can add your selected meats/veggies to cook in. The KBBQ was pretty standard to other places but they had more vegetable options than other places we've been to. The ambiance was very colorful and fun and a good spot to take families or have a birthday. The service was a bit slow, but it helped that we were able to order additional meats and sides through a tablet that stayed on the table.

Yelp
Th ambience was honestly unsettling. I don't know if it's just me but the thought of raw food on a grill that you're not 100% sure if it's working is just bad. My server was talking so fast trying to upcharge me by the end of it I knew I had been scammed into over paying.

Yelp
Best Kalbi around! I went with a group and we all shared everything from the hotpot to the bbq. Our waiter was very helpful and the food came out fast. Can't wait to go back with my family.

Yelp
Love the idea that you can do Korean hot pot and bbq at the same time! The hot pots are for individuals instead of sharing which is a huge plus. Everyone gets their own little burner. The quality of the thinly sliced meats for the BBQ was just okay. I feel like there are other places that have more options and better quality but it seemed kinda dry which is not great for meats but I still ate it. There's a line that you have to go through to get sauces for your meats. I got the spicy broth for hotpot and it was good. Great atmosphere and the place is Huge. I would definitely come back to try it again.

Yelp
10/10 my new favorite place. My friend and I went for lunch and got a deal!! $25.99 for kpot and kbbq. The ambiance is clean, sleek, and good vibes. Our server, TY, was amazing and very patient with us! The food was amazing, there is a two hour limit on tables but that was just enough time. I ate so so much but still didn't feel overly full when I left. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
Maybe the best and overall favorite for us when it comes to AYCE BBQ in Charlotte. Lunch price is unrivaled and overall food quality is top tier. It's a nice place to bring friends and have a good time

Ashlynn H.

Yelp
Food is good it's you're standard hot pot KBbq I only got the hotpot for lunch 19.99$ all you can eat. There is a make your own sauce bar with all the standard stuff. Food is good but the service was lacking. Waitress was very kind but it took 25 minutes to order another plate of meat when the first plate only had 5 slices. I was dining alone and she took another tables order, cashed another one out and by the time she came back to check on me it took another 10 minutes for the food to come out. Soup broth needed refilled and no one came around to do that. They also need some tongs or spoons to be able to get stuff out of the pots

Yelp
We got here around 6pm for dinner and ended up waiting for about an hour which wasn't bad. We ended up getting some Boba. They have huge bar with kpop playing and anime playing. The service was great, our server was friendly and got our grill changed accordingly. The meat quality was OK some were good some were not it's not perfect but it is an ayce so you can't expect the best. My biggest cons are one the ventilation is not great. You order things from the iPad but I feel like sometimes what we order doesn't get here. Overall this maybe a 3.5 if I was younger and didn't mind as much then probably closer to a 4.
