Kraft Dalston - Review - London - The Infatuation

"Usually going on a brewery tour on a Saturday would be a recipe for a two-day hangover that results in a Monday morning spent cradling a bag of McDonalds, triple-checking that your camera is off on Zoom so you can just sink four McFlurrys in peace. But a brewery tour on the Saturday before a bank holiday Monday? A frankly genius and entirely risk-free move. Kraft Dalston are doing £25 tickets that will get you a tour of the German Kraft brewery, plenty of brewing process facts, and a fun, boozy tasting session with their in-house sommelier. Tickets are selling quick but there’s still some availability for the early afternoon sessions, so get booking fast. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

I visited Kraft Dalston three weeks ago before heading to the nearby Rio Cinema. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely, making it a pleasant place to sit and relax. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were a bit disappointing. The Eggs Benedict weren’t great – the bread was hard, and the dish could have used more seasoning or spice. The mojito was also underwhelming, with barely any rum and no sweetness at all. It had the potential to be a great experience, but the food and drinks really let it down. Hopefully, they can improve on these aspects because the setting and service are nice.

Enjoyed a visit last Friday! Staff are amazing, professional and friendly! They make their own gin (4 different tastes - needless to say I tried every single one!) The bar and restaurant looks absolutely fabulous. Food was very tasty - esp that humours with pork bits on top was otherworldly! Toilets were clean and tidy. Tables set to detail. It fits every occasion - a drink after work, date, birthday, you name it! Music was a little bit too loud in the restaurant which was fixed in due course. Overall a very very positive experience. Definitely a place to return to. I cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely wonderful place: the restaurant is beautiful (sky windows, panelling, rounded doors etc) and the food is delicious! I particularly recommend the hummus (favourite dish), the kebabs (we had a Burns Night special, the haggis kebab), the naans and the brownies. They make their own gin and the gin flight is great value, 3 full glasses of gin and tonic (half a dose of gin per glass I think) and it was delicious. Also loved the Oaky Smoky cocktail and another Burns Night special whisky cocktail. I will be back for sure, such a good place and just next to Rio Cinema so a good spot to eat before a movie!

I hired the downstairs for my 40th bday last weekend and we all had the best time. Everyone loved the venue - great decor/design and so clean. The staff really went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing time (India was particularly awesome and really helped it all run smoothly). The food was really tasty and a bit different which everyone appreciated. They also suggested we staggered when the food came out which worked really well. We’ll be recommending to anyone looking for a nice private space to hire and hopefully find an excuse to have another party there again soon.

From the gorgeous staff to food to drinks, I can't think of a better night out I've had in London in a long while. The hummus, and paneer kebab topped the food for me but nothing disappointed. The staff were friendly, chatty and professional from Joe our cocktail man who got creative with a bourbon Espresso martini to Fiona the wonderful hostess and Adri our waitress. They were full of knowledge about the food and drinks and made our experience unforgettable. Also the prices, this place is so reasonable for portion sizes sizes quality of both food and drink. Big up you all and see you very soon xxx

I hired the downstairs space for my husbands 40th Birthday celebration. The communication with the event planner was fluid and easy, and on the day of the celebration everything was beyond expectations. The space is beautiful and full of natural light. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and on top of every detail. I would like to thank Ainhoa, Amanda and Adam for looking after us so well. We were around 35 people, and had the buffet menu. The food was really nice, everyone was happy. I 100% recommend this venue.

Lama and Nathan were excellent mixologists. The drinks were both beautiful and delicious, they made a single traveller feel so welcome at the rooftop bar. I can’t recommend Kraft Rooftop Bar highly enough. Spectacular views, great drinks and excellent conversation! Thank you.

Lovely, dog-friendly, bar with really delicious food. The staff were very nice and friendly but service was a little slow at times. Great selection of cocktails.
