Where to Find Korean Corn Dogs in New York City - Eater NY

"This delivery-only spot is a welcomed addition for those craving crispy Korean corn dogs in Long Island City and Astoria. The menu highlights six different kinds of corn dogs, including ones with potatoes. Because it doesn’t have a brick-and-mortar space yet, Krazy Korean Dogz doesn’t provide much customization with seasonings and sauces. Still, there’s a whole slew of other items that you can order along with Korean corn dogs, including matcha milk bubble tea, truffle fries, spam fried rice, and more." - James Park

DO NOT GET THIS!!!! All the corn dogs were undercooked! They tried to lie and say it was cheese but it was literally raw batter! This place is disgusting and should be out of business. Save your money and go ANYWHERE BUT HERE! I would give this a zero if I could. So upset with them!!!

I had Mozerella cheese dogs (no dust) with a matcha boba. They also provided sauces for free on the side. I really enjoyed them, I don’t know what the negative reviews were about. Perhaps the customization of the dogs with dust and extra condiments made them taste worse (?) but my plain simple ones were really freaking good. Just a note: This is not a dine in place. It’s better to order delivery/pre-order and then pick up. Didn’t take a picture of the dogs but I liked the packaging of the matcha boba. No possible spillage during delivery.

Love their corndogs, even better than the ones I bought from Manhattan. Delivered fresh at your door ❤ They're also open to feedback and sent us a cute little note and a bubble tea on our next order. Highly recommend their Mozzarella Dog in Curry Sugar

Really disappointed with the food. The food smelled stale and burnt. The taste was bitter. Nearly puked… I would not recommend it at all…

IF I COULD RATE IT A ZERO I WOULD. This place was disgusting. The dough was undercooked, the hot dog tasted like it had been sitting out all day and the corn dog had no flavor. The receptionist tried to tell us that the RAW BATTER WAS CHEESE!!! UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! My stomach is in knots from one bite. Do not order here and do not come here. They should be SHUT DOWN.

Was expecting something better then what I got. The fries had more flavor than the corn dogs. Not to mention they are very overpriced for basic corn dogs with no real taste. Sadly won’t be coming back here. The sauces couldn’t even save these poor corn dogs.

Food is good but there's a real failure to communicate that this place is takeout & delivery only - in fact you can't even order in person at a counter or over the phone. The kdogs and chicken sandwiches are good. Skip the chili cabbage. I will add: sauces for kdogs should always be free and this is not the case here. I understand this place is new and I hope they make the proper adjustments going forward

Yelp
I have been dying for one of these corn dogs for quite some. Bit the bullet and placed an order. Start with the dogs: Got three potato corn dogs with Curry sugar and Szechuan dust. Both were delicious, well what we could eat from it. The Szechuan dog was raw in the middle. Big globs of raw dough that we mistook for cheese (even though we didn't order cheese). Nope. Raw dough. The other dog was a potato mozzarella dog with sugar that my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't get a picture of that one. Each dog came with honey mustard. Each dipping cup wasn't even a quarter filled. I bought a side sauce (Roasted Sesame Mayo) for $1. Again, hardly any sauce whatsoever. That was disappointing. Onto the sides: French fries. Tasty. Crispy. Very good. Fried Chili glazed cauliflower. Very Delicious. Cauliflower glazed with chili sauce, scallions, hot fried chilis, and sesame seeds. Chili cabbage with peanuts, chili sauce, scallions and sesame seeds. Served cold. Pretty good. Cold sesame noodles served with peanuts, scallions and cilantro. So everything is pretty much garnished with the same ingredients but nothing tasted alike. We enjoyed all the sides. Overall, it was okay. I've been wanting to try it for a while. Got it out of my system. Not sure if I will order again. For what it's worth, the raw dough and the extra money I put in for a squirt of sauce turned us off.

Yelp
I love the hype over these Korean inspired deep fried hot dogs and mozzarella cheese. I just don't feel the Krazy Korean Dogz did a great job of execution. The Krazy Dog - I think they give you 3/4 of a hot dog because mine was cut at the end. The dough while crispy on the outside was slightly under cooked on the inside and left the texture more mushy. The Mozzarella Potato Dog - Half way through eating this i ran out of cheese. The potatoes are mushy and don't do anything for the flavor or texture. Truffle Fries - Probably the only item that nailed it. Cheese Sauce - cold and gross. Tasted like melted canned cheese. Yikes. Siracha Mayo Sauce - 99% Mayo and 1% spice, I ended up making my own. Overall, I wouldn't order again. I recommend heading to Flushing, LES, or Ktown to pick one up instead.

Yelp
I ordered from here on DoorDash but I googled the address and it's abt 5 blocks from me so I may stop by in person soon. Deliver was quick abt 20-25 mins food was hot and fresh. This food hit the spot my son had the half dog w sczechuan dust (which I'm definitely trying next time!) as you can see by the cheese pull it was nice, hot & cheesy-my son sad it was a little sweet & loved it. The popcorn chicken was my favorite with the honey mustard (think it's homemade) the fries were crispy and the cheese sauce that it came with was warm with a smooth texture. My least favorite, but was still good were the wings there wasn't batter on the whole wing so small parts weren't crispy, also could've been seasoned better I like the Korean pepper sauce wasn't really spicy the was a hint of sweetness.

Yelp
Bad! If you're craving Korean hotdogs go somewhere else. I got the mozzarella and potato dog and it was terrible. The potatoes on the outside were hard and dried out. The dough was undercooked and mushy. I made complaint and they couldn't refund my order. That's why i'm making this review. Saying it shouldn't be raw that's why we can't give back a refund. Well sir it was raw you can't tell me otherwise.

Yelp
My friends wanted to eat here, and it seems to be in an predominantly industrialized area, which makes it a little scary traveling here at night. The area is dark and not much people around. My friends and I were unable to find the store and we felt unsafe traveling in the area for "corn dogs". Anyone who comes here, please come during the day time while the SUN is SHINING and bring a friend!

Yelp
I had the half potato half mozzarella. It was pretty solid but way too much dough. Also ordered one of the chicken sandwiches and It was possibly one of the most disgusting things I've eaten in my life. I would rather eat a mcchicken off the subway floor than that. Dogs solid, chicken sandwich an abomination. My first review on here that's how bad It was.
