I liked how there are multiple rooms playing different music with bars at each. Good music and vibes!

Google
Small multi-level nightclub in downtown with a cool vibe that draws a younger crowd. They do require proof of vaccination to enter (I showed a picture of my vaccination card which was sufficient) and I saw someone being turned away because they did not have proof of vaccination. It is near the new 7-11 and next door Little Maria's Pizza restaurant. I went on a Thursday night where they had retro techno music in the downstairs club and and more modern dance music with a DJ in the small club one level above the downstairs club. There was a small art/clothes market outdoors the night I visited. The crowd was mixed with straight and gays with a mostly younger audience in their 20's and early 30's. A good place to listen and dance to some good music spun by a DJ in a downtown setting.

Google
Fun place to dance with a good variety of artists throughout the month, something for everyone. Coat check girl who knits is so cute and fun. She gave me some good book recommendations as well! And the bartender in the cherry room with yellow glasses is great!

Abbiy Homann

Google
terrible! they advertised a hip hop/R&B night, was the for maybe an hour and the switched it to techno. when I ask the bartender why it was advertised as a hip hop night of it was techno? his reply was very sarcastic. "is this not hip hop? ohnnooooo" don't advertise something if that not what it's going to be, I wouldn't have wasted my money. don't waste your time here. you'll be disappointed, drinks were crap too and over priced.

Google
Barkcore was great, very queer and cool, friendly crowd that's mindful of personal space. Never felt uncomfortable tonight even though I'm new to raves ❤️

Google
I used to frequent here with my friends as I love alt clubs but after the 5th or 6th time of being disrespected at the door by the gal who scans IDs I realized she's not just having a bad night when she makes all of us queer folk uncomfortable. She hates the patrons and let's them know it even when standing there quietly waiting for her to check your ID. I've overheard the things she says to other patrons that are just uncomfortable and rude to hear, then she just levels her gaze at you and glares like she wishes you were dead. I've stopped recommending Krem to anyone I know and when it does come up I warn them not to go because I'm pretty sure the ticket lady hates gay people and alts. Guys, just go to the pony.

Google
The dance floors are small and there is no air circulation. The DJ were ok. It’s Not a great place to be in on a Friday night.

Google
Security Guard was a liar and a prick he told me you had to have a membership turns out there is nowhere to submit a membership online. On top of that he was very rude hateful and disrespectful towards me just because I'm new and came from out of town I do not recommend this place to anyone who is visiting or traveling security discriminates against people who aren't from around the area. Very dissatisfied and angry about the service I received.

Ben W.

Yelp
one of the best clubs in the universe. go if you don't respect yourself. go to dance, not to be seen. grab some tequila sodas and get lost.

Sean G.

Yelp
The worst experience I've ever had at a bar. It's 1:52am and I'm standing at the bar with a beer that I purchased 5 minutes ago and it is 3/4 full. The security guard comes up to me with a bus box and tells me it's last call. I acknowledge him and say thank you. He tells me I have to finish my beer immediately I thank him again and tell him I will be done soon. Without warning, he proceeds to forcibly rip the beer out of my hand and throws it into his bus box. I'm sitting there absolutely blown away by what has just happened. I go to the bartender to tell him what occurred and he is defending the security guard. I ask to speak to the manager on duty and he tells me that he is the bar manager. He offers me a shot and I refuse. At this point, I don't even care about the lost money that I paid for on the drink... it's about the principle of the situation. There was no reason for the security guard to act in the manner that he did. There is absolutely no reason for this type of behavior from the employees. I will be contacting the owner about the behavior of this employee as soon as possible. If the owner of this establishment condones this type of behavior from their employees, they deserve to lose business. I wish I could give zero stars for this review.

Yelp
Kremwerk on NYE was crazy. It might have just been because of the energy that night, but the huge mess of rooms, crowds of people, and different music in each room made it so fun. It reminded me of clubbing in Berlin and there were music styles for every group. My only regret was not bringing my concert earplugs it is LOUD. Also be careful when you're walkind around! There's a lot of pathways and stairs and I saw a couple of people falling down.

Josh N.

Yelp
Well good morning. I came here last night for the first time. Let me clarify that I'm an Interpreter and went with some deaf friends and interpreted the music so they could have the same experience as the rest of us and I did not wear a mask so they can read my lips too. The Host on February 24th 2024 in drag started yelling BOO and kicking me out of the bar for not wearing a mask, it didn't cross their mind to ask why but they went ahead and started BOOing me and got the whole bar in on it then when they realized what I was doing (as if it was not obvious) they apologized on stage and looked a fool. When this happened a person in the crowd yelled at the queen and said "They're working!!" And come to find out his sister is also an interpreter. I was not the only one without a mask on, there were about 20 other people without a mask on, I was just singled out because I was signing... I thought this was a safe space for everyone to be who they are... Okay I'm definitely not brining friends back who have different abilities and use an interpreter. They will get roasted and humiliated. 0/10 stars. Get it together folks. It's 2024. Sit down and stop getting turned on by humiliating people. Never again, spreading the word to the Deaf community and the queer community about this NOT safe space. Owner, feel free to message me. We need to talk.

Yelp
We went and me being from Miami I thought yeah ok good edm club. The clubs in Phoenix are so much better Was NOT liking the $20/each cover and over priced weak AF drinks Small like bedroom sized small and you can't take a drink from upstairs downstairs or vice verse. NOT impressed with Seattle. In miami have Club Space, thousands of people in a club. here maybe 100. yeah i've been in clubs with 10,000 people in them and loved every minute of it. here, yeah not going back. I really don't like the homeless crazy fu@ks walking all around either here in seattle. Too liberal Arizona maybe republican run, but the weed is better. the clubs are better. the surrounding is better NO RAIN I like swimming pools, weed and night clubs and money Here i only get the money which quality of life suffers because even the weed here is weak AF.

Harley M.

Yelp
Kremwerk was pretty busy on a Friday night. We got there at around 11:30pm and there was a short line outside. They took everyone's temperature and checked covid vaccine cards (a picture is sufficient). It took probably 15 minutes to stand in line and get everything checked before we went in. The cover was $25 and covers the downstairs (loud, thumping techno music with a DJ) and upstairs (chill bar/lounge with tvs). You can pay for only one floor if you want, but not sure what that would cost. Drinks were small and expensive as people have mentioned below. I'm not a big fan of paying expensive covers, so not sure if I would go back often. A fun clubbing experience if that's what you're looking for!

Ashley L.

Yelp
Yikes... I don't know why so many club establishments are just utter trash ever since the pandemic. Who ever owns this joint, you really could consider putting in more effort into things. It could be cleaner, and more interestingly decorated. Also, the staff is so lackluster! As a woman of color, i am never allowed to give poor service at a job - yet i always recieve it? Really not fair if you ask me... I'm a bartender too, and you really don't have a reason to be rude to a customer as soon as they walk up to you. Like ok i just won't tip you at all then?? I believe you need bouncers inside as well! Don't have rules if there's no one to enforce them. So many people disrespected my friends and i space. We just wanted to dance not being able to have my self defense weapons with me made me super uncomfortable because this was a hostile environment. Won't be coming back.

Gigi S.

Yelp
I've been inappropriately touched, groped, and some guy straight up tried putting his hand up my skirt here and nothing was ever done by security. I haven't been back since the pandemic started in 2020, so they may have hired new security people that don't let men get away with assault, but I still won't go back. It's too unsafe.

john j.

Yelp
I've been in Seattle my entire life so this bar is still fairly new to me. Bouncer at the door is super rude and the place was empty while they charged a $20 cover. Didn't see the value in the cover charge and bouncer needs to learn how to speak to patrons. Go to Pony instead.

Olivia K.

Yelp
Visiting from the SF Bay Area, and the experience was completely unreasonable for the pay and "exclusivity" it advertised by the "separate" dance floors and bars the place offers. The cover fee is unreasonable with the music they play, and unless you're a deep house/techno fanatic, then you're in for a surprise. There is no relevant music here, and it is overpriced for what they offer. The nightlife is seemingly unlikely, and it is already overpriced and very much overcrowded on the dance floor despite their care towards vaccination status. Strange, I think there should be more emphasis on their burlesque shows and other methods of entertainment as they advertise online, but seemingly none on their long weekend. I think for people visiting this city, should reconsider their visit here.

Gabriel H.

Yelp
Good rave scene , dress warm , mostly good guys looking for women but there's always an occasional nice guy who's down.

Lee E.

Yelp
They made an amazing show impossible to watch by at least half of the audience by way overselling the show beyond capacity and crowding way too many people in. The stage is way too low to see past standing people from about mid-room to the back. They also had standing room only for most of the venue which I never experienced at a drag show before and didn't have enough seating for people with physical issues. The entrance/hallway/bar was packed to the gills and difficult to get through. I also heard they were selling tickets to people waiting outside even though it was beyond capacity and telling them that there would be several performances that night, yet there was only one.

Lita G.

Yelp
Being new in town I had to go check out the nightlife, especially looking for some techno. I'm so glad I found Kremwerk! They have different events, especially drag shows weekly, but I've only been to see some techno DJs. The place is downstairs and it's not large, it's dingy and has a bit of an industrial feel to it, it actually reminds me of Detroit a bit. Good music, nice bartenders, and chill vibes. Definitely recommended.

K. A.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Love the vibe and love the drag shows, especially Cucci's Critter Barn. I especially appreciate that even after the mask mandate has ended, they continue to ask for proof of vaccines and require masking--I so appreciate that they care about the continued impact of COVID on immunocompromised community members!

Michael Z.

Yelp
Great vibes and the perfect place to go if you want intimate and incredibly fun techno/house music

M D.

Yelp
Great spot for shows and performances, minus paying a cover and having to pay for very expensive, very small and very underwhelming drinks. The drag queen said onstage, "The drinks here lack substance, and you want a refund" I thought it was a joke, but it wasn't. I'd still go, I'd just pre-game before.

Corinna S.

Yelp
Love Kremwerk. It's a pretty cool location with an even better policy when it comes to safety and respect for others. They have a variety of events, including drag shows and kinky parties. The space is great, they have two floors and multiple bars, entrance is on the street with street parking and a paid parking lot around the corner.

Todd S.

Yelp
I'm not normally one for the nightclub scene, but a friend of mine was performing in the drag show and I stepped out to support her. What. An. Amazing. Night. The club is pretty low-key and chill, which is preferable to me. It wasn't terribly crowded, and the DJ was fantastic. The music was upbeat, but had trippy, dark-ish undertones, if that makes any sense. It wasn't necessarily 'happy' music, and I was perfectly fine with that. The club requires a cover charge upon entry, but if you're friends with a performer, they can put you on their guest list and you'll be able to bypass the cover. Hard liquor drinks seem to be pretty steep in price, comparatively. I had a blast and will be returning in the future!

H. L.

Yelp
I had been coming here for a long time supporting events for years before the pandemic and then they decided to make it a vaccine only venue. Although other clubs around the city have dropped all regulations that they have continued to leave that up. Which is strange and definitely doesn't make me want to support them even though I know I could come with a negative test. It's stupid!! I don't appreciate it the invasion of privacy I don't think it's a very conscious move on their end. People need to be responsible for themselves. Bringing people's personal health records to a club is absolutely ridiculous. On that note it's small and not ventilated super stuffy no fresh air no fans.

Jefferies C.

Yelp
Thank you for the vip service that I ve experience. My own vip section and own security And for my hot servers And so sorry go Made it rains 100 $ to make people act like that But any way Thks

Max D.

Yelp
Sadly Seattle is not best place to listen techno music, here is only 3 place wher you can go. Kremwerk, Monkey Loft and Ora. Kremwerk definitely best choice. Not expansive price, always new dj's from Germany, Uk, France, Australia. Love this place. Why 4 stars?! Because this night club very far from SF, Miami,NY clubs. Enjoy guys. You will not find better place in WA state.

Julia C.

Yelp
One of the best clubs in Seattle hands down. A haven for queer culture and underground dance music. Every night is different so check the calendar before going to make sure it's something you are interested in. Queer women owned and operated. Cover charges go towards bringing in top notch world renowned talent and employing hundreds of local artists as well. I don't really understand people who go on yelp to give a 1 star review because they were asked to pay a cover charge lol. I take it you don't do a lot of clubbing. Always evolving and expanding - now includes an additional bar and stage, a patio and a pizza parlor! Location is unbeatable! We love the Kremwerk Complex!

Billy B.

Yelp
I've been here before and after the pandemic and they still bring the skills to get people moving. Especially appreciate them keeping the music moving.

Tabatha P.

Yelp
I enjoyed the club atmosphere of Kremwork. The lighting is really cool, all the rainbow everywhere was awesome. I love the space and the seating, and the outdoor area. The people were really nice to us, including security. We came to see a friend and they were not rufe and very helpful to us. Not a stuck up attitude or anything, just professional! There were deejays mixing different styles of music and backdrops with graphic visuals. It made you feel comfortable. The employees seemed to all be smiling and in the beginning, just ready to take on a good night. You can fit a very decent amount of people in this venue, allowing for headliners and locals to come in and enjoy a night. It was very pleasant to look at, and with that "underground" feel that so many people have grown to enjoy. Definitely somewhere I w ould relax and dance like nobody is watching!

Diana R.

Yelp
Low number of creeps. I've seen great talent here. I dig the sound, and the space itself is lowkey, which I like. I've been here mostly for techno and house parties. Dancing here is fun and I don't typically experience creepers as is the case at other clubs. The bathroom line is never too long, in part because the restrooms are unisex (at least for parties I've been to...this may not always be the case). There is a good bit of seating, without being intrusive to the dance floor. They host a variety of events including macabre drag shows, queer dance parties and sweet underground techno. I've come here and been disappointed with the acts, but others were clearly enjoying them so it's just...not my taste. There are a few programs I can count on for a good time including research and no nonsense (both are booked here on the reg). Tickets can be a bit pricey, and drinks aren't cheap, but...it is what it is.

Annette W.

Yelp
This is one of Seattles newer clubs and most trendy in the denny triangle area Very queer friendly open to drag shows and fashion forward disco night and a deck inside if you feel like relaxing from the mega hoping dance floor fun staff and drink specials for a gay dive bar feel with a Miami vice twist tis is it

Haleh N.

Yelp
Great bar and dance club! Awesome drag show and we saw a king drag for the first time! Awesome sound system. Nice people.

Stephanie J.

Yelp
I originally came to Kremwerk to support DJ Jimi Jaxon's kick starter (discodroppings.com/kickstarter) , but after my first experience I am definitely going to be a regular at Kremwerk! Often in Seattle it's really hard to find a bar/night club/ etc. that isn't trying too hard and is just a nice space to be in. Kremwerk is that place. When you walk down the stairs into the venue you're greeted with crisp air and a dark dungeon like feel (but it's not too creepy I promise). Although they spend their nights in a dark cavern Kremwerk's bartenders are far from vampires. You're greeted with a friendly face and drinks are made with an honest pour, like the ought to be. A downside? I ordered two vodkas - $20 later... I don't see the need for it to be so pricey, especially since it was well vodka, but then again I'm not a bar owner. I'm excited to see how Kremwerk evolves. Go! Check it out!

Alexis B.

Yelp
I love this place so much it is truly one of a kind. It is such a safe space for all! Genuinely feels like somewhere where the entire staff and club-goers are all always kind and respectful. There is almost always an event going with a theme that is posted on their Instagram and Website. I have never met such a creative community of people in my life. This is truly one of Seattles gems :)

Jessica S.

Yelp
This bar definitely impressed me. I love the atmosphere and the location. The staff is super friendly, and they have some amazing events. I love their increasing number of queer events. I came for a drag King show, and that was absolutely amazing, so props to them for encouraging diversity. I also came during Halloween got a zombie event, and that was a blast. This bar is always a good time, check their calendar, they always have fun events coming up.

Steve C.

Yelp
The month Sin party is a great goth/industrial night. Definitely the best crowd for clubs and events of this kind in Seattle. And almost all new music (they spin a few older tracks at the end of the night--as it should be).

Jacqueline B.

Yelp
Great environment and music. I love that the pizza spot is literally right there as well, which makes it so convenient to grab some food after some dancing!

Brandon W.

Yelp
After waiting 45 minutes in line being pushed and shoved. I find the security to let people in slipping them a $100 bill to avoid being waived by the metal detector (flag raised - I'm already feeling uncomfortable). Then waiting in another line to pay almost $30 to get in, I have rude employees push past me while I wait in line for the bathroom telling me they have more important things to do. I left shorty after - this being my most expensive bathroom trip so far...

Glenn P.

Yelp
This is an interesting space to visit. Bring earplugs! I got the impression that this place is rode-hard, and put away wet. It seems that they could do so much more with the space - so that you don't have to walk through a labyrinth, and trip down hidden steps to enter. The music was honestly too loud - maybe I have sensitive ears - but the mid-high range on the speakers was making me wince. They at least had earplugs for purchase. The earplugs actually made it easier to communicate - but we still found ourselves yelling at each other and the bartender. The service was a bit slow - and the drinks were really weak. I get the impression that they charge a cover whenever possible...

Nick C.

Yelp
Fun venue, but have fun waiting in line for 1.5 hours even if you bought tickets before the event. Realistically a little disappointing for $25 in Seattle.

Michael P.

Yelp
Kremwerk is a cool, quirky underground club (literally) that books unique acts, has fun events, and often stays open until 4 am. It's a great option if you're looking to stay in one place all night, or if you want to just keep the party going! The staff is incredibly friendly, and all of them know how to make a mean drink. The sound system has great bass, and the dance floor is ample for those looking to tear it up. The space is enhanced with very cool lighting equipment as well. If you come with a group of friends, there is usually ample VIP booth-type seating to set up camp for the night. They do have coat check at the door and security is there, though I've never felt like the crowd was sketchy at all. I booked a private party here and the club director Austin was awesome to work with, had lots of decoration ideas, and really helped my friend and I make our event memorable for us and our guests!

Dustin M.

Yelp
I was with a group of friends, celebrating one of their birthdays. Kremwerk was on our way to Capitol Hill, so we stopped for a couple drinks. Cover was $20, which I normally wouldn't mind paying for a decent club, with decent music, and a lot of people. First of all they don't accept debit card for cover..cash only, and no ATM on the premises or within a one block radius. After a nice hike to find an ATM, I made my way back, paid my cover and desperately needed a drink. This place is a basement bar, with purple lights shining on the concrete walls, and low ceilings. It was pretty dark in there, probably in an attempt to hide the fact that we were in a basement, or maybe to add to the dreary, dungeon-like ambiance. My group of about 15 more than doubled the number of people in the bar, to include the bar staff. It was about 11PM on a Saturday. The music was pretty terrible. There was a DJ in the DJ booth, but really the music was super repetitive, sounded like a skipping CD or maybe a failing water pump. Either way, not really dancing music, which explains why there was no one on the dance floor. I guess I wouldn't really describe this place as a dance club, so fine. The drinks were pretty much average for Seattle, and the bar staff was friendly. When it's all said and done, you're in a frickin basement with terrible music and a small handful of people, and paying $20 to get in.

Dorian M.

Yelp
Hands down, this design student's choice destination for some underground fun. Increasingly queer events (had I not relaxed at the spa today I'd be at Bottom40 rn - however there is always Cathedral, and fags saying yes will be a must go), in a well designed basement with plenty of room to dance and colorful corners to relax. Posh enough without pretension, well-poured libations, and less "Basics" than other locations; granted as another reviewer pointed out;this city still has a long way to go in having a populace that, like... gets "it" - I literally listened to these guys have a conversation admitting to having no idea what they were supposed to do there lol. That's where patrons like myself and others come in, at least in my head I'm a decent enough example. Also a "hot donkey" tequila shot, 2 vodkas and a "Heartbeat" cocktail for a mere $22 +tip adn $10 cover; not terrible. Simply a dark dance floor to enjoy well after last-call without paying a stupid cover for creeps and kids at Neighbors shaking it to a needing to be retired mix. Q may boast a bigger sound system but I tired quickly of that overexposed and underwhelming interior. However for me to have proper fun I always head here; it helps that it's mere blocks from SLU and my school. I imagine the crowd will only get more interesting, which has been it's fulfilled trajectory so far.

Peter L.

Yelp
Kremwerk is a newer club next to Rebar which offers a smaller intimate space with a decent sound system and a well-stocked bar. I came here to see one of my favorite Bay Area DJs, M3, and relaly enjoyed the music, space and vibe. It reminds me of the now defunct ETG in the sense that it is smaller, has a great roster of DJs, and afterhours with people trickling in late, but in a subterranean location and with nicer restrooms. The bar a nice selection of booze and beers, but also Krug, which was a surprise. It fills a void in terms of programming and size, and I'll definitely be back soon.

Billyum B.

Yelp
Like any nightclub the quality of the night depends on whose playing and the vibe of the crowd. With multiple options for stages and vibe kremwerk has you covered. The staff does everything they can to ensure you're having a good and safe time. Drinks are getting up there but they gotta keep the doors open and it's just on par with everywhere else. If ya didn't like the party do your research and find a place that plays music you like don't blame the club. The best option for left field esoteric dance music in a club setting in seattle.

Bill B.

Yelp
Expensive drinks. Expensive cover. Creepy people. Bad music. What else can I say.. Pre game this bar it's not worth the drink prices. $12 each before tip, insane. Music has no words and leaves you to wonder why. You get aggressively sexually assaulted at the door for weapons which is insane. People paid the bouncer to get past the weapon check... Why did I go here ?

Silvia H.

Yelp
Just so you believe what everyone else has said: I'll confirm it's true, Kremwerks is just a different vibe. Very welcoming, warm staff, and it draws good people. Most people are super friendly, you walk out of there having acquainted yourself with a handful of lovely people. My first visit was to see Great Dane and every dj that night was amazing so now I'm always on the lookout for more of the same. They also have nights that go on until the next morning! And if you get hungry after all that dancing there's a pizza joint right upstairs.

Jake O.

Yelp
Bouncer at 10:20PM tonight, deemed my real New Hampshire ID as 'fake,' refused to hear otherwise, and aggressively informed me that I was trespassing on private property. I would recommend getting scanners or something because it's not a good look for your bouncers to be reprimanding people based on their incorrect assessment of whether an ID is real or fake

Nate E.

Yelp
Checked out Kremwerk on a Saturday night; it looks like they haven't been open too long, but I was very impressed. The first challenge was finding the venue; it's on the same block as Re-bar, but around the corner and down in the basement. That said, it's a very nice, clean basement setting with good lighting and a clear sound system. The staff is very friendly; overall the place has a European feel. For a moment, I felt like in another city. I would definitely go back again; I love having enough room to dance, and the "house-party" vibe kept everyone happy. No pretension here. Won't you help them break in their new space?

A J.

Yelp
Discovered this club about 2 months ago and loved it! It's a smaller feel which I enjoy- easy to dance your way up to the front or take it easy in the back and grab drinks at the bar. Fast security and fare prices for entrance. Only had to pay $10 for a Saturday night out with friends. Overall fun atmosphere

Jon W.

Yelp
I'm not sure if basement chic is a category on Yelp, but I'm all for signing a petition to make Kremwerk the best basement bar in Seattle. Fun, crowded, but never claustrophobic, Kremwerk has wonderful bartenders, hosts, and relatively cheap drinks -- at 6$ for a well-vodka. With a zesty host to kick off a Battle of the Bulge dance contest, Kremwerk threw one hell of a Saturday night underwear-themed party. Go! Go! Shake what your momma gave ya.

Trav K.

Yelp
This cozy, quirky bar and club in a basement underneath Re-Bar (I was told it was formerly a milk factory or something) was a pleasant surprise. I came to listen to a friend who was DJing and had known about the location in the basement, but had never been. The decor was interesting, and with surprisingly lots of intimate seating options if you didn't want to be too close to the dance floor. The bar was well laid out next to the dance floor as well. They also had a covered smoking section outside (which is really nice in the winter) or if you want some fresh air, have a conversation away from the music, or to cool down from dancing. It looks like their was plenty of parking too, which is rare downtown. As expected, drinks were rather expensive so either car-bar it, or bring enough cash for the night if you plan to drink a lot.

One of the only places in Seattle I feel comfortable cutting a rug at!

Yelp
Had my Jacket stolen here the other night. Lost and found didn't even show any sympathy. They just said next time check the coat. Maybe ya'll should put a "Check in anything you don't want stolen" sign up at the entrance so we are aware of the sketchy crowd here. This never has happened at monkey loft. Don't put anything down even for a second, this crowd is no good.
