Austin Brewery Infamous Brewing Company Prints Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s Phone Number on Beer Cans | Eater Austin

"A Haitian food truck run by owner-chef Nahika Hillary, opened after she moved from Boston to Austin in 2015 to fill a perceived lack of Caribbean restaurants in the city. She lost many catering jobs at the start of the pandemic, has since refocused her business, and is planning to open a Houston location in the fall." - Nadia Chaudhury

Kreyòl Korner Caribbean Cuisine - Review - Brentwood - Austin - The Infatuation

"The Haitian food truck Kreyol Korner - off of North Lamar near Koenig - is usually open only on Saturdays, but it’s worth waiting for the weekend to roll around to try this place. Check their Facebook for the current menu and opening days and hours. Standouts include stuffed plantain cups and a super-tender stewed chicken combo. Also, make sure to ask for extra pikliz, the Haitian pickled vegetable relish. They offer curbside pickup and delivery." - Raphael Brion

Legit Haitian food Griot was great. Also, we got Tasso but it was a little dry. 4 1/2 stars!

I was craving some Caribbean food so I did a good ole google search and discovered this food truck. I literally drove 30 minutes to try this place and I’m sooooo glad I did! The only complaint I have is they are so far away. Everything tasted so good. I loved the plantains. I’m a fan and will definitely be going back!!

One of the best grits you will ever have. I love this place. I cook Haitian food at home but when I don't want to cook I can easily get anything from them. Taste like I made it at home. They will give you a run for your. Owner is so friendly. It's a great family business.

Food is flavorful. The plantain cups are amazing. The jerk chicken wings were another favorite of mine. The menu is limited right now, so you can call up to a day ahead to find out what they'll be serving.

Ordered Kreyol Korner for a catered lunch for a client and I'm so glad I did! They delivered it on time and my client was very happy with the flavor and freshness provided by Kreyol Korner! I will definitely be ordering again! 5/5

Nahika at Kreyol Korner is a culinary queen! I've had several dishes now and each one is more satisfying than the last! From the fried plantain bites to the spicy pork shoulder, the food will warm your comfort food craving and leave you wanting more. Give them a visit I'm downtown Austin, Texas and get a taste of the first and only Haitian gourmet food truck in town!

I'm originally from Miami, FL and grew up on Haitian food. I moved to Killeen TX 2 years ago and been searching for some good Haitian food. I drove 1 hour and was highly disappointed. I ordered 2 plates of food. My food was served in Chinese to-go plates instead of the regular white to-go plates, which limit tremendously the amount of food you receive. But the other 2 customers that came and got food around the same time, were served in the regular white to-go plates. I received 4 pieces of plantains and a couple pieces of griot for the first plate. The second plate had 4 pieces of plantains and a spoonful of legume. I was suppose to get rice with the legume but I guess it couldn't fit in the small to-go plate and they decided not to give it to us at all. Normally when you order just griot & plantain, you're suppose to get more than just 4 pc of plantains and a few pieces of griot. Same thing with the legume. The griot & the plantains were not fresh and the legume was just ok. I paid full entry prices but received appetizers. I will not be returning back and will get my Haitian food when I go to Miami, where I can get great food served the right way.
