Krokodilos restaurant in Kensington

We had dinner at Krokodilos in December and it was absolute perfection. Welcoming, delicious, fun! Chef Angelos created a very special menu here with soulful cuisine that transports you to the sunny Aegean. Service was lovely, guys know their craft! Can’t recommend enough 👌🏼

Great food, ambience and staff! Nikos and Amy served throughout the night and made us feel very welcome and comfortable since the moment we arrived. Fava and tyrokafteri, fermented potato flat bread and Greek salad from starters are highly recommended. Dolmadakia and wild goat from Greece for mains were also delicious! Finally, karidopita with nicely balanced with a scoop of kaimaki ice cream was ideal for dessert!

Wonderful first experience for Valentine’s Day. Very attentive staff made us feel right at home. Food & cocktails menu with potential - we definitely left curious to come back and explore more. On the pricey side but totally worth it

We visited for lunch on a Sunday. We entered into a stunning room with soft and earthy tones and were allocated a great table with more space than necessary (but note not all tables were as fortunate). The crowd was mainly families with kids. We were 2 adults and 2 young kids and between us we ordered the bread, potato flatbread, 2 of the “creams” (dips), the octopus, prawn saganaki, the wild goat and some fries. They also prepared an off menu portion of orzo for the kids. For dessert we tried the “milopita” which is basically an apple pie cut up and mixed into ice cream. The food was decent without really standing out. I struggle to identify any dish which really made an impression, although it was all pleasant enough. I also tried a couple of wines by the glass and these were quite disappointing. Portion sizes were larger than expected and we packed some food to take home. Service was excellent. Our primary server was really friendly and highly attentive, and any requests were dealt with swiftly. The bill for our lunch came to £280 of which £63 was spent on drinks. Not the cheapest, but within reason considering the neighbourhood and the large quantity of food we ordered. In conclusion, a beautiful setting with great service but the food - while not bad at all - was the weakest link. I am a fan of this group of commonly owned restaurants, having had great meals at Belvedere, Lita and a couple of their other venues too. Krokodilos didn’t seem to be quite on the same level in terms of food but on the plus side was relatively good value versus the others. That said, I would happily go back to the aforementioned names but am less sure about a return to Krokodilos.

A fantastic spot to enjoy Greek-inspired fine dining in a warm and welcoming setting. The vibe is relaxed yet lively, with a charming blend of rustic and modern decor that makes it feel truly special. The menu is all about sharing, with standout starters like the delicious flatbreads topped with smoked tomatoes, anchovies, or mushrooms. The mains are the real stars, featuring dishes like the hearty giouvetsi, the beautifully spiced stifado, and the vibrant prawns saganaki in a tangy tomato and feta sauce. Desserts such as the zesty portokalopita and the pistachio-filled elmek kataifi are the perfect way to round off the meal. The inventive cocktails and excellent selection of Greek wines make it easy to find the perfect pairing for your food. With friendly, attentive staff and a warm, easygoing atmosphere, Krokodilos is ideal for anything from a casual dinner to a special celebration.

The ambience of the restaurant was elegant and warm. The service was fabulous. Our server Fabio was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He made out evening even better. The food was truly amazing, classic Greek mama's recipes with a professional touch that elevated the flavours. We got to taste a variation and everything was top notch. That is my favourite new spot in London!

Super lovely lunch, food was delicious and was very cool to see so many specials on for the day. The staff were super friendly and attentive with Darius being the most attentive. Really beautiful space and super clean.

I loved the concept of sharing the food although usually not a fan. Portions are good, range of plant food, fish and meat generous. Attentive service and beautiful, detailed and comfortable design. I wish this was on my doorstep as would become a regular. Our group of 5 had grilled calamari, Greek salad, stone fish, t bone steak. Multiple portions of thrice cooked chips, orange sorbet, apple pie ice cream and vanilla. A delightful way to spend the afternoon celebrating a birthday.
