"Krokodilos—with its perfectly polished floor-to-ceiling windows and gorgeous artwork—falls short in the taste department. This Greek restaurant off Kensington High Street has the heavy curtains, linen lamp shades, and impressive bar with bottles lining an entire wall, to make anyone want to spend an evening in the fancy-feeling dining room. It’s about as exciting as receiving socks for your birthday. The starters are better than the mains, so focus on Greek salads and spanakopita flatbreads for a light dinner rather than going all out with things like delicate confit cod topped with an overpowering vinegar-heavy sauce, or a tomatoey prawn saganaki with barely any prawns. Inside, it’s a mix of old Kensington locals who likely have more money than taste buds, friends all dressed up for a bougie birthday dinner, and the odd couple with a 20-year age gap and an appetite for mediocre grilled calamari. Had the loveliest evening here. On a Monday but still full of atmosphere! Kamiras service was amazing, thank you so much. Food was awesome, drinks were delicious. If my bank could hack it I’d be here all the time. Definitely special occasion worthy.

I have to start by giving the staff all the credit for making our evening a very enjoyable experience and I really mean every member of staff for they all went out out of their way to make us comfortable and some were very funny too. The restaurant is very nicely divided and I love having the fireplace in the middle as it truly serves a purpose in such cold London weather. Everyone knew everything about the menu and I mean precisely every ingredient and how they explain it is how it tasted. The starters and bread really complemented each other and were truly very tasty. As were the main course a d the the desert again the desert was explained in greater details and when arrived it tasted precisely as described. The Cortado was very strong and most enjoyable. One thing caught my attention and I'm not sure big I'm right or wrong but in my opinion with ball this positiveness, great geographic location and all that money invested, why have plastic dangling plants and I sure do hope I'm wrong but I will return to double check. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We are frequent Traveller to Greece and know where to eat good greek good. The served dishes were not authentic at all. Marinated sardines were bad( bloody and not marinated properly) Souvlaki was the worst souvlaki we have ever eaten. Price quality ratio is bad. The only positive thing is ambiance of the restaurant.
