The food portions were pretty small, but the food was delicious. I got a braut and although it was small the taste was great, and the cheese curds as a side was a great choice. I wish I had some sort of dipping sauce but they were still good by themselves. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, it might get loud on game days though.

Google
Great old school spot. They are in the middle of a remodel, I hope they don't change the classic look inside. Food was very good. Service was friendly. Definitely a must stop in the GB area

Google
We just ate here for lunch, not from around Green Bay and thought this would’ve been THE spot to go since we were all here when we were younger and the food was amazing. The food/drinks went downhill everything out of the fountain soda machine tasted terrible, cheese curds were so crunchy they hurt our teeth. The chili was mainly all grease and a bill for 2 people to get chili and one order of cheesecurds was $34. One of the people at our table had gotten a hamburger and the bun was MOLDY. Thank god we seen it before he took a bite, we asked for it to be taken off our bill and she said “I talked to the manager and since we replaced the burger you can’t have anything taken off”

Google
We all ordered the half pound cheese burger, and we all also agreed on it not quite what we expected. My cheeseburger was ordered with ketchup and pickles, but I really wish there was more flavor to the burger. I could not tell if there was even any cheese on it. Mostly tasted like pickles and a bit of ketchup. The outside of the burger, in my opinion, was a bit overcooked. The bun was extremely dry and basically fell apart as I was trying to eat it. The French fries were awesome, along with the cheesecurds. The service was okay, but nobody showed back up to our table once our food was served. We all were looking for a refill of our beverages, but like I said, nobody came back until we were done eating and received our bill. I highly recommend that if you have a party of four, to sit at the half circled tables with chairs. The booths are a bit tight and, in my opinion, only recommended for two. Great staff, tho, very friendly and also a really cool atmospheric vibe 😎 Enjoy!

Google
Really cool atmosphere located right across from Lambeau Field and by the Resch center. Old diner feel inside with plenty of seating available. We just got back from Disney on ice and our server spent a few minutes talking to our kids about it and they loved that! Our server was wonderful- super friendly, perfect amount of check ins, and fast service. Nice sized menu with options for everyone, the burgers were good, and kids meals were the perfect size, and they focus on using local ingredients which made it that much better.

My husband has loved this restaurant since he was young and we always go when we come to Green Bay. The butter hamburger was a surprise, but dangerously delicious, and the Booyah soup was the perfect way to warm up a cold body.

Google
This place was slammed on game day for the Thanksgiving game It was cash only and self seating I ordered the chili but found it weird with the spaghetti in it but overall pretty good The wings were good too Overall good spot for a quick bite before the game 6.5/10

Google
This place was an amazing atmosphere with a view of Lambeau Field. I loved the food, especially the cheese curds!!!

Andrea A.

Yelp
Great family place. Super busy on game day. Cash only bad limited menu. Just a heads up

Jonnie D.

Yelp
This place was very interesting. My husband had to try it such a huge Green Bay fan. It's right across from the stadium. Menus are already on the table. It is seat yourself so you can sit anyway. When you're ready to order food you just push a button in your booth. The waitress comes and takes your order. I was really feeling soup so I wanted to get the chicken and dumpling soup as my side and got a wrap so I could have some thing lighter. My husband chose to get the cheeseburger because that's what everybody said he should get it is a butter burger if you've never had a must try it taste like one of the best homemade Burgers I've ever had!

Lauren G.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Love their fried chicken sandwich. It came out pretty fast. You have to push a button for service which is kind of cool. Took a bit for them to first take our order but once they did, everything was fast.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
This place is iconic in the Green Bay Area. It is located right across from Lambeau Field. It is kinda an old school diner meets supper club meets bar. It has a button you push at your table that lights up for service. The server comes over to take your order. You order your food and drinks and away you go. I ordered a grasshopper (ice cream in the drink and everything) and my partner ordered the Brandy Alexander. We had cheese curds, buttered popcorn in a skillet and chips and cheese. I know it is kinda eclectic but we were hot and tired... It was good and the history really made the place. I would go back again for sure...

Krystal D.

Yelp
People were nice - friendly service. The place is pretty old, but I'm sure that's part of the nostalgia. The food was just "okay", nothing I'd go back for. Chili spaghetti is interesting lol.

Zoel D.

Yelp
Must visit. It's a staple!!! Enjoy a butter burger and curds. Game day is cash only so be prepared but the place is awesome.

Julie H.

Yelp
Service was prompt and efficient. I ordered Walleye with a baked potato and side salad. My partner had the Pork Chops with a baked potato and mixed vegetables. To our dismay the potatoes were cold, same with the veggies. Fish tasted as if was cooked earlier and kept in a warmer.

Bill A.

Yelp
I no longer live in Wisconsin but hit Krolls whenever I'm in Green Bay. I waited 4 years post-covid to write this ... but yes they have lost a star. Nothing has changed overall, it's just that the food doesn't taste quite as good as it used too. The service is a tad off, the drinks a tad weak, the place a little rough around the edges, even the lighting seems dimmed. I've always been a fan of Krolls ... always will be! Only writing this in hope they take notice and step their game back up.

Timothy K.

Yelp
I had always wanted to visit this establishment since it is located right next to Lambeau Field. What a disappointment. Arrived on January 2nd at around lunch time. Looks like no money has been put into this place since the 70's. We were placed in a booth with a call button. Ordered our 1/2 pound Kroll burgers which do not come with any sort of side so we each ordered onion rings. 1/2 hour later, our waitress asked us if we had received our food. (An empty table could have answered that question). Stated that she'd check on it. About 10 minutes later, the burgers arrived wrapped in foil. No onion rings. About 2 minutes later, the onion rings arrived (about 10 of them and that's being generous). To wrap up this review, I'd give this place a D+. Locals may enjoy it but I thought it was an utter disappointment. The bill came to $45 for two mediocre burgers, two tiny orders of onion rings and one soft drink. This establishment is riding on the coat tails of existing in the shadow of Lambeau Field. Do yourself a favor and give it a HARD pass!! I'll also add that even though it was lunch time, the place was pretty dead. That should have probably been a clue for us.

Walter B.

Yelp
Kinda mid, I like the button thing. Greasy food but will hit the spot if your girlfriend just dumped you.

G D.

Yelp
Old, tired diner. Slow service, bad food, small portions for the price. The Jameson mule was very good. The waitress took the brats off our bill because they were so bad. She suggested we try the burger next time but the woman seated next to us was complaining her burger was cold.

Melissa E.

Yelp
Everything amazing great service fast friendly clean I'd recommend to everyone I know that this is the best

Ron S.

Yelp
Classic place with great burgers. Its a must have when in green bay. They could remodel it but i like it just the way its is.

Aaron M.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with the chili or chicken dumpling soup but a hamburger with everything on a soft roll is essential. Butter!

Joanne L.

Yelp
This might possibly be one of the worst experiences I have had. Our waitress was not welcoming at all. We had ordered drinks and appetizers, let her know we were still deciding on our dinner. When they brought us out our appetizers they gave us are bill. We felt so unwelcome. This was our first visit to Green Bay for a Packer game and we were so excited. We called a different waitress who was nicer. The food was awful. We waited 45 minutes just to get it and not even eat it. So salty and gross. Never going back there.

Andrea H.

Yelp
Don't come here!! It's so sad a Green Bay historic place is so terrible!! We waited 45mins for 3 sandwiches and it wasn't crowded (they should have been my first clue for a Saturday!!) The $8 cheeseburger was horrible and I get better at McDonalds, the Cesar wrap was the only decent thing we got. Never saw the waitress after placing our order. Almost $50 and no we didn't order any alcoholic drinks either. Worst meal we've had on our vacation here.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
We were staying at a hotel across the street and had heard a lot about Kroll's East so we decided to try Kroll's West since it was a short walk away. The dining room was dated but clean. The service was friendly. The tables have buzzers so you buzz when you want service. I decided to give the burger a try. It reminded me of a McDonalds hamburger- ketchup, pickles and onions - plus the addition of a dollop of butter. It was a little too much butter for me so I ended up removing what hadn't melted already. It was a decent burger. The fries were an add on and they weren't bad either. The restaurant takes credit cards but passes on a 3.25% fee to the customer. Cash is the way to avoid the fee. We are glad we gave Kroll's a try. It was a decent meal for a fair price.

Isabelle E.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the server was so so sweet! A very small town Green Bay vibe.

Kylie M.

Yelp
Krolls is so nostalgic for me, every time I'm in town I come to eat here. It's always hot, fresh and has a warm, comforting, environment. Always start with a side of cheese, curds, obviously mixed is the way to go, both yellow and white cheese! Then I always get a side of chili with my burger! Butter on the burger is a must, and will always be so reminiscing to me from when I used to live here in Green Bay.

Jose C.

Yelp
Came here before a Bears packers game and it was packed. Luckily they're menu is small and they turn the TVs off on game day so people can get their food, eat, and get out. There was a big line and I thought it would be at least an hour wait, but I got a table in like 5 minutes The service is quick and efficient. I ordered a double cheeseburger and cheese curds and we got our food very fast. They do make you pay once your food is delivered, which is like of unsanitary, since it's cash only. And they also bump up the prices on game day. "special event menu." The burgers were good as were the cheese curds. I wouldn't mind coming back on a non game day. The meat was perfectly cooked and the buns were a little crispy. The cheese curds also tasted fresh with a nice thick batter. Will definitely be returning.

Uginea P.

Yelp
Came to Lambeau field to do the Champion tour in the hall of fame after we headed over to Krolls West a recommendation from our Uber driver. It's a cute old traditional diner style with a bar inside which was very cute. We sat at the bar for a quick snack and drink . We had the chili dog and chicken strips and some drinks. The chili was okay nothing to write home about but We didn't have much but I can comment on the atmosphere. It was nice and friendly. It was very well priced and if you're OK with a Restaurant that's not fancy this is your place. I love places at the locals go!!!

Denisa L.

Yelp
Burger not worth it! Cold butter in the middle of the burger, had to wait an hour for a burger, cheese curds and onion rings. Total cost was $45 with one cocktail.

Mark P.

Yelp
The food, including the burgers and chili, is not bad, but it's not Kroll's East quality. The pricing at Kroll's West is ridiculously high, especially when compared to the reasonable pricing at Kroll's East.

Melissa R.

Yelp
Very good food. Excellent service. I highly recommend. The fish fry and the burgers are top notch.

Ronalf H.

Yelp
Very friendly staff they always have smiles on their faces. They food was top notch have eaten their many times . Always have the local sports on .

Joe C.

Yelp
Outdated ambiance, torn chairs and benches, broken buzzers, food was ok, not bad. A burger is a burger. I may change my review if I go back again and try something else. But for now, the atmosphere killed it. And the "cash discount" of I used cash? If the merchant fees are too expensive, then don't accept a card. They only do that if you have less than "X" numbers of transactions per month, so maybe this place doesn't do a lot of business, which tells you something.

Jimmy K.

Yelp
My favorite place in Green Bay for a burger. Fantastic location right across the street from Lambeau Field. The cheeseburgers are phenomenal. Oozing with butter, (trust me) it's fantastic. The mixed cheese curds are tasty. I love coming on game days for a pre-game burger. There's usually live music in the parking lot. Expect a wait on game days as the place is small and usually packed. Check them out!

David L.

Yelp
First of all, the service was great. Our server was prompt and pleasant. Next, the place was dirty. The ceiling tiles are filthy and the ceiling vents are worse. I don't think I've ever seen such filthy ceiling vents. I got the chili dog. I don't know what their chili recipe is, but Hormel canned chili (w or w/o beans) is miles better. The fries were quite good so good on them for that. I wasn't expecting fine dining, but this place seemed neglected by the owner/manager.

Jasmin M.

Yelp
Very poor service. took 50 minutes for one strawberry shake that was ordered through the phone.

Heidi V.

Yelp
The place was about half full. Never got served. Sat there for 30 minutes like we were invisible. I don't get it. Most of the empty tables were dirty. Obviously they are short handed. Right across the street from Lambeau Field. We expected better. Don't waste your time.

Freidrich D.

Yelp
Located right next to Packers stadium. They serve Low grade food. Not a good place to go. You can do better in Green Bay. I ordered the meatloaf.....big mistake. The baked potato was not cooked through. The salad was ok but it's hard to mess that up. My wife ordered a cheeseburger......it was not good. If the football game is over and you are drunk as a monkey needing food of any dubious quality.....then this place will do. Don't go here for dinner. You will be disappointed.

Kassy B.

Yelp
I went there today, not packer season and the restaurant was half full. The management is horrible. I even heard a manager complaining to a table that everyone was demanding their food within 15 min. 15 min would be great. We were there an hour and a half and were about to leave and just pay for our chili they said 3 times our burgers were coming in 5 min. After 20 min we left So we were there almost 2 hours without 4 butter burgers. Other tables were waiting over an hour as well. Staff better. Or do something better. It wasn't even busy at all. Plus our order was allllll messed up on top of it. My son never got the bacon he ordered or his smoothie. What a shit show. That place will close if they don't get better service. Yeah the Packers play across the street but u keep giving service like that someone's gonna buy u out and rock it and make their service on point For a manager to loudly complain to the table next to us after we have been sitting there for 1 hour and 30 min for a cpl burgers is crazy. And then complain like we are the problem. And not want to let us just pay for the chili. Ugh. I will never be back there. Which is sad cuz I've been going there since the 90s.

Cathy R.

Yelp
On July 17th, We arrived at Krolls West around 6:30 pm. Walked in after seating ourselves and sat, rang the buzzer for a waitress, sat some more, rang buzzer 2 more times until 1/2 hour went by with no acknowledgement by any server and people at neighboring tables had the same problem. We got up, left the restaurant and went to Krolls East! We received immediate service, food came in about 10 min and the hamburgers are $2.50 less for the exact hamburger. I grew up going to Krolls West but from now on will travel the extra distance to go to Krolls East.

Andrew W.

Yelp
Tyler helped us and was phenomenal! Not only was the service great but the food was as well. Highly recommend the burgers.

Mr. B.

Yelp
Good burger and homemade soup. Perfect location and cool, old school ambiance. Definitely be back.

Jen S.

Yelp
The cheeseburgers are fantastic! Both times we've been there, the service has been slow. However, the restaurant is very dirty. Walls, doors, floors other surfaces look like they haven't been cleaned in a very long time. Love the food and supper club like vibe, but hesitate to eat there again.

Hani J.

Yelp
A Green Bay classic! Spotted cow, Booyah!, prime rib sandwich, and a fried chicken dinner. Beer was cold, food was hot and fresh, and my lady said the prime rib sandwich was incredible! Chicken dinner was tasty (though I didn't expect it to be fried based on the menu?) Service was friendly though quite slow, food took a while - but otherwise no real complaints. Place was very busy the night before a game. Our server was a treat.

Sonia H.

Yelp
Everyone will tell you....when in Green Bay you've got to go to Kroll's. So we did The waitstaff is great, very attentive, great suggestions and friendly. The menu has a lot to choose from and they have a nice offering of specialty cocktails. Based on recommendations we ordered burgers, chili and cheese curds. The chili is very good and they will even serve it over noodles. Overall the food was tasty but my favorite was the chocolate milkshake

Kamron A.

Yelp
So when you think of Green Bay you think iconic Football team, iconic Head Coach, iconic stadium, 13 world championship/Super Bowl titles and you think of Krolls West as the iconic place to eat! Right across from Lambeau field is this gem of a place serving food since 1936! The decor is classic and the old school button to buzz your order and the cream colored half circle booths and diner style counters brings you back to the glory days of Packer football! They are know for their special butter burgers and chili! These burgers are amazing! I mean amazing! The added butter after the burger is cooked and then melts into the burger is ridiculous! I got the chicken dumpling soup and man it's homemade and delicious! Totally a great place! Thanks for a great first visit! To see more pictures of this place and others go to Kam Finds Food page on Facebook and Instagram and join the foodie community! We want you to enjoy food as much as us!

Mike K.

Yelp
Probably one of the worst/overpriced "dining" experience I've ever had. Ordered the walleye sandwich w/ cv coleslaw and coffee. The sandwich was tiny, one small filet, a dab of tartar and that's it. Coleslaw was not bad, but the coffee was lukewarm and not good. All this for $12. Never again.

Theresa M.

Yelp
Love this nostalgic joint. Been going here since I was a kid. And as an adult, a couple times a year. Always good food, the hamburgers ooze with butter. Delightful! Well, if you like butter. The cheese curds are super. Yes, deep fried. The chile is so tasty. I get a cup without noodles. We sit in the bar cuz it's cool to sit there. That's where all the cool people sit to have a high ball!

Lenel B.

Yelp
We stopped in before the Packer game because a friend raved about their burgers. Upon arrival they only had an order and pick-up area set-up, then timed passed for which they switched it to a sit-down ordering setting and push button for service, which we encountered. Unsure if the call button really worked because I flagged down a waiter for menus and then another to place out order. The setting/decor wasn't anything special...more an old supper club look. Four of us all had cheeseburgers and spilt the white cheddar cheese curds. The burgers were great with the right amount of topping; pickles, cheese, ketchup & a slap of butter--that's definitely there! The buns definitely made the burger better! The burgers come solo, no sides included. The cheese curds were truly the star of meal and I would go back again for those--some of the best I ever had, but note no dipping sauces included. Maybe more of a 3.5 star rating because everyone was pleased with the food, but odd presentation- no plate, just a wrapper even though we were dining in. And note CASH ONLY! They have an atm onsite, so plan accordingly. It was also nice to get out of the cold and use a real bathroom, but it disgusted me to see both sinks in the ladies restroom were out of order--with no solution in place...not even complementary hand sanitizer!

Roxy H.

Yelp
The service wasn't great until Tyler came over and stole the show. We waited and got handed off from server to server until Tyler came over , put his foot down, and made sure we were completely taken care of. He made sure every food order came out right and fixed what wasn't and kept the drinks flowing. Tyler thanks for turning what was a negative night into a great one with your hospitality and smile!

Brianna H.

Yelp
Yeah so... The service was practically nonexistent, the joint was dingy, and we waited over an hour for a couple cheeseburgers, a sandwich and a deep-fried special. The drinks were decent, sure. The food was okay... When we finally got it. But the cherry on top of a very disappointing and lackluster experience was that, when going to pay, we mentioned how we didn't see anyone for 45 minutes, and the woman at the counter said, "Well, that's what the button in the booth is for. You're supposed to press it when you need something." So on top of everything, we got gaslit at the end of a horrid dinner and ended up missing the show we were on our way to see. Lol cool.

Vannie L.

Yelp
Apparently this is a staple post Packers game. The walls are adorned with celebrity pictures and signatures which has a nice nostalgia to them. The service was decent but it can be slow during rush time. Each booth has a little service bell to ping a waitress when you need something. The food is classic dinner food. Everything was well seasoned but nothing unique. I personally did not enjoy the chili/spaghetti item. The chili was a bit too greasy for me. My favorite item surprisingly was the cheese curds. They had great curds for an average dinner.

Tim N.

Yelp
A classic that we've loved for decades. On a recent trip to Minnesota from Door County we did a short jaunt for old time's sake. Our to go order of two burgers and fries took at least 25 minutes to arrive. When it did, the burgers were slightly warm at best (not even hot enough to melt the butter). And, were overcooked. Unfortunately, we were three minutes down the road when we found out. The fries were good. Also $$$ for what you get. $10 for a two-patty burger that's not hot? No thanks. So much for pleasant memories of Kohl's. Guess you can't relive the past. Maybe if you drink enough, you don't care about the quality of the food. Next time we'll just go to Culvers.

Meredith C.

Yelp
After hearing that this was THE place to eat on a Packers gameday, we were so excited to come try the food. Not only did it exceed my expectations, but Jamie was the best server! She was great to us, even though we were the rivals fans. We even came back for a visit after the game to see her again. Highly recommend the chili and the butter burger. Can't wait to come back and visit again!

Lacey L.

Yelp
This place is amazing sometimes with great service but I have been other times it wasn't the greatest. So this is a hit or miss. Chili is amazing. Cheese curds are amazing!!! This is a very unique place but very popular here in Green Bay.

Colleen B.

Yelp
After all the hype, we thought it was time to try. I hate to say, but a total disappointment. Our our server (a trainer not ready for the floor) reminded me of Shaggy from Scooby Doo. Nothing motivated him. He took our drink order (painful) then left the ticket on the table and returned 3x times to ask about it before we saw a drink (draft beers - not difficult). Meanwhile the table that arrived before us was invisible to him (no matter how many times they pushed the magic button or we tried to get them help) as was a half eaten meal and drink left on the table in front of us for the duration of our visit. The entire staff had the energy of a sloth. I can't imagine being here on game day. After all I heard about the legendary Krohl's, I'm severely disappointed. Location, ideal. Otherwise....
